Now that Autumn is here I am ready for a change.  To me this is a time of new beginnings and the perfect time to tweak myself.

I am going to do the 30 Day Shred to tighten up my body because I think that perhaps my metabolism is not as fast as it was before.  I used to be able to think about losing weight and I would. 

Now?  Notsomuch.

Tyler and I are going to start taking the dogs out for a walk after dinner.  ALONE.

Alone for 20 minutes every night is a dream come true.  Now that Emily is older and staying up later, our alone time consists of me yawning and drooling and him nudging me to see if I am still awake.

This is going to be an exciting new year.

What is the best way to start off the new year? 

With a new haircut, of course!

After Sarah was born I grew out my hair simply because I didn’t have time to go and get a haircut.  I had never had long hair before and I must say, I did feel a little sexy with it.

I am not the kind of person that usually feels sexy in general.  I feel cute. Sweet.  Perky.  Spunky.  Not really sexy. 

However, I think it is time for a change.  Here is the way I used to wear my hair quite a lot:

Or stay with this?

A little part of me is hoping that if I go with the shorter hair, the lines on my face will magically go away and I will once again look refreshed and youthful like I used to.

Stop laughing.  It is good to have dreams.
