X Marks the Spot: Kellan Lutz stars in Calvin Klein spring/summer 2010 Underwear Campaign

The one thing I remember from the '90s was Mark Wahlberg's chiseled body in revealing Calvin Klein boxer briefs. As a teenager back then, I used to gush over these Calvin Klein ads as I lusted after Mark. Fast forward to 2010. Calvin Klein is reintroducing the sexy underwear campaign with four delicious men: Twilight actor Kellan Lutz, aka Emmett Cullen, Japanese soccer star Hidetoshi Nakata, Mehcad Brooks, who played “Eggs” Benedict Talley on HBO’s “True Blood” and “The Deep End”, and Spanish tennis star Fernando Verdasco. The X Marks the Spot underwear campaign kicks off on March 1 with a digital ad campaign, magazine and outdoor advertising but not before we get a sneak peak at a few photos featuring all four men.

Ladies and gay men should mark their calendars and bookmark the www.Xmarkyourspot.com for teasers and behind the scenes videos of all four models during the photoshoot. Say what you will about objectifying these mouthwatering and sexy men but I cannot wait to make their photos my screen saver or gawk at them in the glossies. This ad campaign makes me want to play Salt N Peppa's "Shoop." You know....the one that goes a little something like (video here):

A guy friend of mine once told me that nothing is sexier than seeing a woman in sneakers. He said most women think men want to see them so badly in heels that they overlook the sex factor in sneakers. I've always been a fan of stylish sneaks, particularly high tops. My little brothers are hipsters by birthright and have stamped in my head that a girl must always have some sexy sneakers in their closet for hipster swagger when the occasion arises. When I talk about sexy sneaks, I am not talking about New Balance running shoes or your run of the mill Nike pair.

Don't you just want to sink your teeth into these colorful spring must-haves from designer Sonya Rykiel's second collaboration with high street brand H&M? The assortment of knitwear for women and kids is a breath of fresh air that warms me up just thinking about where I will wear them to as soon as the weather gets warmer. I'm a sucker for bows and color so this Sonya Rykiel collection is right up my alley. I want the sweater with the bow as well as the horizontal stripe dress and the cardigans.

David & Victoria Beckham on 10th Anniversary cover of 10 Magazine

America's brief love affair with the Beckhams started off with a torrent of emotions. Soccer fans thought David would be the savior of MLS, breathing life into American soccer. Fashionistas dreamed of the Posh's larger than life persona in Britain transfering to America. The honeymoon phase of our Beckham love affair fizzled and Americans found themselves settling into normalcy once again. To our chagrin, soccer was still soccer with or without Beckham. His attitude was stinky as he tried to get out of LA Galaxy contract so that he can compete in the more competitive European level in hopes of making the England team for the World Cup. David is playing for AC Milan this year but he is still on the roster for LA Galaxy.

Despite our love hate relationship with David, Victoria on the other hand is one of my favorite wags. She has taken her fame to the next level with the well received Victoria Beckham Collection and a slew of endorsements from top notch designers. 10 Magazine celebrated its ten-year anniversary this year by featuring Posh and Becks on the he and she cover. This marks the first time the magazine has featured a celebrity on their cover. The magazine's focus is on high fashion and art and rarely cover celebrity topics, gossip or frou-frou subjects.

You have to buy the magazine to check out the 40-page spread on the Victoria and David. Inside the issue, the duo talk about their careers. Victoria says she expects to be still creating high fashion pieces in 15 years and asserts that she designs for women of all shapes and sizes. Case in point, Jennifer Hudson wearing her peplum dress to the Grammys. She also says that she and J.Lo wear the same dress size. GASP!!!

She says, 'Actually, the one I tried on yesterday was the one Jennifer wore. And who'd have thought I'd be the same size as Jennifer Lopez!' Hmm....she might have been able to "try on" the same dress as J.Lo but I bet it looked like a potato sack on her. No offense to either women since they both have amazing bodies.

Mrs. Beckham might be comfortable gracing the covers of magazines but not her husband. Mr. Beckham, who portrays a sexy well tattooed mechanic in the 10 magazine spread says he's still not used to being looked up as a sex symbol.

'I still feel quite shy when I see a poster or campaign like that...It was a daunting experience stripping off in front of a room of people but after a while you get used to it - although my mum still hasn't,' says Becks about that sexy ad of him and Victoria in the Emporio Armani underwear ads.

I'm a huge fan of the Phantom of the Opera and usually have it in my DVD player at anytime. Besides the beautiful music, the tragic Phantom, played by hottie Gerard Butler, I can't get enough of the costumes, particularly the capes. I've been an huge advocate of capes for the past four years, always referring to the the elegance of former First Lady Jackie O, who often wore them with her gowns.

I've already raved about how crazy I am for the Chloé spring/summer 2010 collection. Among the pieces I am coveting is the button down beige cape that has been makings rounds in the latest issues of fashion magazines. I would wear this cape from sun up 'til sun down all spring with denim, twill skirts and button downs and even a dress. Tres chic!

With all this talk of up to 24 inches of snow about to pelt the East Coast, spring can't come soon enough for those weary of the cold. Grammy Red Carpet favorites

R&B singer Mya, multi-Grammy award winning country artist Taylor Swift and Pussycat Dolls singer Melody Thornton shined brightly in sequined gowns perfect makeup and hair. Taylor Swift, who walked away with album of the year looked phenomenal in a blue sequined Kaufman Franco gown with an exposed back. I wish the dress was a different shape because it didn't do any much for her mid-section. She looks a bit boxy in the middle but the dress was beautiful. Melody Thornton's ombre sequin gown fit her in all the right places. She looked beautiful with her hair pulled back and minimal jewelry.

Rocker Pink surprised me by looking like an elegant woman in an strapless ombre gown from Tony Ward Haute Couture.

The gospel singing group Mary Mary walked the red carpet in all black gowns. This, ladies, is how full-figured women dress. There is no need to show too much or cover up entirely because of your size. I especially love the Tina's strapless dress with the statement jewelry neckline. The empire shape flatters her bust and hides her hips. Erica accentuates her slim waistline black elbow length sleeve top to compliment her black gown.

I was impressed with Fergie for stepping up her fashion game on the red carpet. Her cobalt blue Emilio Pucci mini dress flaunts her rock hard abs, chisled arms and to die for legs. I just wish she would do something with the hair. She needs to die it one color instead of the trashy streaks she's got going on in the front. Over all, Fergie looked Fergilicious.

Kaley Cuoco and Melani Fiona get my vote for best black gown. The Big Bang sitcom star told Giuliana Rancic that she did not use any double-sided tape or bra to keep her gown in place and prayed no one would pull her dress in any way to expose her. Her deep plunging neckline Nicole Miller gown suited her to a T. Melani on the other hand looked very elegant and sophisticated in a one shoulder bubbly mermaid black gown. I actually like the combination of the mermaid and bubble.

Kanye West is pissed at Fashion Bloggers

Kanye West is upset with fashion bloggers for trash talking his outfits and that of his main squeeze Amber Rose. The duo made their rounds at men's fashion week in Paris last week in some of the most talked about outfits on the blogosphere. Kanye is tired of fashion bloggers raggin' on them and then turning around and giving props to undeserving designers for their collections. He goes on to denounce those who oppose fur and says he defends his right to express himself creatively through fashion. He wrote a long rant on his blog today, which he later took down. Fashion bloggers show Kanye and Amber Rose mad love in my opinion but recognize when something is plain crude.

I wrote about Amber Rose's hideous bare-it-all outfit last week and do not take it back because the outfit should not have seen the light of day. First of all that outfit was not flattering in anyway and second, it was not original or creative because Rose McGowan had already done it in the earlier part of this decade. Sorry for being honest Kanye. I respect his style and his creativity but bad fashion just needs to be called out when it occurs.

Trend Alert: Men in unlaced boots at the Grammys

I've been neglecting the men's red carpet as of late and I would like to apologize for that. I wanted to give a shoutout to one trend I've been observing since early fall of last year, the pants tucked into unlaced work boots look. R&B singer Chris Brown really made this popular when he resurfaced after the Rihanna altercation.

Last night, a few of the male artists hit the red carpet creatively dressed, skipping the suit and tie combo. The gents in the Black Eyed Peas all adopted the unlaced work boots and added their own individuality with a mix of camouflage blazers, metallic pant and jacket and tapped bottom pants and a blazer. DJ David Guetta also wore the unlaced work boots, this time in cream, with a military jacket, denim and an untucked t-shirt. I really love this look because its so hipster chic without looking like they were trying too hard.

Beyonce & Keri Hilson in the nude - Grammy Awards Red Carpet

Last night's Grammy Awards red carpet fashions was not as impressive as I would have liked it. Besides the usuals, Lady Gaga and Rihanna, most artists kept it safe in their red carpet ensembles. The nude color palette has been a trend that many celebs have adopted this spring. On the Grammy Awards red carpet, new artist Keri Hilson and megastar Beyonce Knowles were spotted in nude gowns, which really complimented their honey colored skintones.

Keri Hilson looked absolutely flawless in a strapless Dolce & Gabbana body-con gown with a mermaid bottom. Keeping her jewelry to a minimum with small earrings and a cocktail ring, the focal point of her ensemble was the jeweled waist of the dress. Her short coif and lavender eyes completed her look. Beyonce on the other hand chose a short sleeved deep plunge front Stephane Rolland gown with architectural embossing all over it. The body-con gown also had a mermaid bottom that showed off all the right assets. The gown was very beautiful to photograph but did not look good with all the embossing when seen up-close. Don't get me wrong, I think Beyonce looked flawless but what was up with the glitter steaks in her hair? I am all for creativity but she should have just let the gown and earrings speak for themselves instead of going grade school on us with glitter in the hair.

Jennifer Hudson in Victoria Beckham - 2010 Grammy Awards Red Carpet

Singer Jennifer Hudson is looking magnificent these days on the red carpet. The new mom, who performed on the 2010 Grammys tonight with Usher, Celine Dion, Smoky Robinson and Carrie Underwood, strutted her stuff on the Grammy red carpet in an all black Victoria Beckham elbow length peplum mini dress. I sung Victoria's praises when I saw her collection but was a bit skeptical about her clothes fitting curvy women, seeing that the designer herself is very waif-like and designs for herself.

J.Hud looks stunning the Victoria Beckham peplum dress. She's been dropping serious pounds; you can see evidence of this on her face, arms, hips and thighs. She told E! News' Ryan Seacrest that she's been motivating herself to workout everyday. I'm inspired to go out and get active after seeing her efforts. I think the shoes she's wearing are from Yves Saint Laurent. If so, I commend her for being able to walk in them. I went to CUSP to see if they would fit but they hurt my feet so badly that I let them go. I might go back and try a larger size to see if they are more comfortable.

Sheer Fug Off: Britney Spears' Fishnet vs. Ciara's Lace

I can't wrap my mind around these two songreses, Britney Spears and Ciara, who showed up to the Grammy Awards in the most fugly outfits of the night. I was speechless as Ciara explained her outfit to E! News' Giuliana Rancic. The only compliment Giuliana could give her was how flawless Ciara's face was even without much makeup. The artist replied simply by saying she wanted to outfit to speak for itself. I mean come on Ciara. The Givenchy jumpsuit Ciara wore hurt my eyes.

Britney on the other hand came out of the house in a fishnet Dolce & Gabbana dress. I'm not sure if she mixed up her events but the dominatrix convention was not tonight. I don't get it. Why do these women step out of the house without consulting a professional stylist? With all the money they have stashed in their bank accouts, you'd think they would make better choices. I am more disappointed in Ciara than I am in Britney because I really expected more out of her. Am I blowing this out of proportion? You tell me who looks fuglier.

Beyonce performs in Versace at 2010 Grammy Awards

R&B superstar Beyonce was in her element tonight at the Grammy Awards. The chanteuse, who is nominated for a whopping ten Grammys tonight, took the stage in a fierce strapless black number for her performance of "If I were a Boy" and "You Outta Know." I told you all last week that I couldn't get enough of the Stella McCartney ruffle dresses from her spring/summer 2010 collection. What girl doesn't love ruffles? I really think I might be saving up for one of the dresses for this spring. No joke. Anyway, the spring advertising campaign for Stella McCartney just came out and I love it. That red floral dress has my name written all over it. How cute is that black and white dalmatian in the background?

Miss Virginia Caressa Cameron wins Miss America

Congratulations to Miss Virginia Caressa Cameron for winning the Miss America title last night in Las Vegas. She becomes one of the few African American women to win the prestigious title. Caressa represented my home state of Virginia with pride.

Caressa is a senior at my alma mater, Virginia Commonwealth University. She is also in the same school, the School of Mass Communications, studying broadcast journalism. Her performance of "Listen" from the musical Dreamgirls, gave me chills. She deserves this crown and I'm rooting for her to make a positive impact for women, especially African American girls.

Avatar actress Zoe Saldana is as cute as a button in everything she wears. With a svelte figure and skycrapping legs, there is nothing the actress can't look good in. She made her rounds at the Directors Guild of America awards ceremony in a strapless neutral patterned bubble mini that only she could make look chic. The bubble bottom would make a curvy figure like Beyonce's look overly rotund but works perfect on Zoe. The dress's dominant color is a neutral shade, which many actresses have been sporting all over the red carpet this spring. Zoe complimented the green and black pattern in her strapless dress with black and green alligator print shoes. The strapless dress accentuates all of Zoe's best assets; her broad shoulders, long torso long lean legs, and toned arms.

Glee actress Lea Michele lights up on the red carpet once again, this time at the 2010 Grammy Awards, in a short one shoulder Romona Keveza dress. The sheer top one shoulder number looked very good on Lea because she is a young actress and should be having a lot of fun with fashion. She told E! News' Giuliana Rancic that she had originally planned on wearing a white dress but changed last minute after noticing that it was completely see through when she stood in the light in her window. Good girl! I commend her for avoiding a fashion faux pas and being murdered on Fashion Police tomorrow evening on E!.

Did you ever in a million years guess whether Lady Gaga would show up to an event in an elegant evening gown? That the first lady of pop and macabre would blend in seamlessly with the slew of musicians at the Grammy Awards? Not a chance. Besides Rihanna, Lady Gaga is the one artist I look forward to checking out on the red carpet during music awards because I know she will always opt for a fashion forward ensemble.

Lady Gaga arrived at the 2010 Grammy Awards this year in a Giorgio Armani Prive orbital gown that looked like something from Sci-fi couture. I didn't believe it when Toni Braxton's guest told Ryan Seacrest that Gaga was wearing Armani but I guess it was true. I dig the gown, which is fun in the front and serious business in the back. What is the orbital prop she's holding up though? Does her hand not hurt? Love you Gaga.

A "Brief Encounter" with Sean "Diddy" Combs

Rap and fashion mogul Sean "Diddy" Combs heats up the pages of American Vogue's February issue in a 14-page spread with Russian model Natalia Vodnianova. Shot by acclaimed photographer Annie Liebovitz in several locations in New Jersey, including the New Jersey Transit Hoboken Station, the editorial titled "Brief Encounter," centers around two strangers falling in love after a brief meeting on a speeding train.

Coincidentally, Diddy's upcoming studion album, Last Train to Paris, which is scheduled to release in April, shares the same classic Hollywood love story theme as the Vogue editorial. The editorial combines elements of men's and women's fashion, romantic setting and a well illustrated story board that shows Grace Coddington at her finest. She uses spring collections from Christian Dio, Nina Ricci, Tom Ford, Ermenegildo Zegna, Giambatista Valli, Louis Vuitton and others for a well executed shoot perfect for Valentine's Day.

Diddy equates the rhythmic and constant thrumming sound of a moving train to love. In the interview for Vogue, he remenisces about chasing after his college girlfriend, whose parents did not want her involved with him, during his Howard University years by catching the Amtrak at Penn Station to Washington to be with her.

"They didn't want her to be with the bad boy," Diddy says. "That train ride, the anxiety—I was sick," he remembers. "But it was a good ending when I knocked on the door." Ooh la la! A love affair to remember. This experience and others throughout his adult life are the inspiration for Last Train to Paris.

"Trains are very intense, very sensual," he was saying recently while taking a car to a plane after a long day on tour. "Trains are related to the rhythm of your heart. It's the intensity—trains keep you in thought, you know?"[Vogue.com]
