Funny thing, I was recently watching new Korean TV show and I couldn't take my eyes from the feet of this guy...

The funny thing is - it's not the feet, it's the rolled up trousers that make them look so gorgeous! It makes him look so classy, at ease, but at the same time kind of formally.

Happy New Year to all of You, my dears! May your upcoming years be always greater than past.

Have you already made your resolutions for this year? At first, I thought it's worthless to do it this year, because I always fail to achieve them. But then again - if you don't put effort into something, how exactly is it going to happen?

So that is why today I'm giving you (and myself) some inspiration for resolutions. Here are resolutions of Marilyn Monroe that she wrote in 1955 in this brown notebook:

    Must make effort to do
    Must have the dicipline to do the following –

    z — go to class — my own always — without fail

    x — go as often as possible to observe Strassberg’s other private classes

    g — never miss actor’s studio sessions

    v — work whenever possible — on class assignments — and always keep working on the acting exercises

    u — start attending Clurman lectures — also Lee Strassberg’s directors lectures at theater wing — enquire about both

    l — keep looking around me — only much more so — observing — but not only myself but others and everything — take things (it) for what they (it’s) are worth

    y — must make strong effort to work on current problems and phobias that out of my past has arisen — making much much much more more more more more effort in my analisis. And be there always on time — no excuses for being ever late.

    w — if possible — take at least one class at university — in literature –

    o — follow RCA thing through.

    p — try to find someone to take dancing from — body work (creative)

    t — take care of my instrument — personally & bodily (exercise)

    try to enjoy myself when I can — I’ll be miserable enough as it is.

You know, each year I try to find the best gifts for my family and friends, I try to make something delicious for my family dinner, I try to decorate home ... - in other words I do everything to make Christmas special. But this year I just ended to be ill during all holidays. So my relation to Christmas this year is something like this:

I'm the trying Rob and Christmas is what goes its own way with or without me interfering.

So what I've learned this year? I had some time for contemplation while celebrating with fever in my bed.

Last autumn my best friend told me that I'm a cynic. I would add cynic in a rose water like R. Bradbury wrote in one of his books, but that would be my artistic specification. Anyway, at first I thought that it's a very bad description of a person and that is something terrible to be. Of course, I didn't agree and I thought it's something very harsh to say to your friend. But then I realized (while lying in my bed the other day) that if it's not my cynic humor, I wouldn't be laughing from this video paralleling myself and Christmas - I would probably be lying in tears feeling sorry for myself, making some more of my weepy nose. And then it hit me - I'm a cynic and it's my strong side. It's the way that keeps my world bright, it's my power to hold its end up!

And there it was. That moment. Right there. When I realized.

Scratch any cynic and you will find a disappointed idealist.

And that was true. I'm just a disappointed idealist who tries to hide it in order to protect their feelings and it's bizarre, because it's all human nature. To dream, to try to make this world better. To fail, to defend your feelings.

So what I want to wish for You for the holidays is to be more honest with yourself - even if you're the disappointed idealist like me. Well, be one. Be a better version of cynic. Be true.

It is such a sweet swing album that I can't help myself, so I listen to it constantly! Especially I love listening to it while I'm cooking - swing music and the kitchen is my old habit:)

I saw this picture of Jessica Alba the other day and I fell in love with this purple lipstick! It looks marvelous. I looked up for more variations, but I must say that it only looks perfect with white clothes. I've found this picture of Leighton Meester wearing purple lipstick as well, but for me it goes much much better with the white dress. Another great combination snapped in fashion week:

Remember the funny Louie C. K.? Well, this time he tells (in a fun way of course as always) the real truth about smartphones and its damage to us.

a route for ignoramus.

One the most beautiful weekend of this autumn, just before the trees threw their colorful leaves, we went to visit the manors and castles of Lithuania with some friends (my most favorite photo above). Within 2 days we've visited 14 places (no kidding)!

This is how our journey looked like on the map (by the way, it's a very nice route to take!):

It was such a blessed time we went to visit those parks, because the trees were exploding with colors, so I've made tons of photos. Here it goes...

By the way, do you remember Bamberg and Bayreuth? I was visiting them in the similar time as well - maybe that was why I enjoyed it so much:)
