Neuton Electric Mower

If the Reel Mower we previously posted isn’t heavy duty enough for you, try the Neutron battery powered mower. Boasts some excellent features and still saves on emissions, pollution and gas!

The company claims the Neutron to be 95% recyclable and costs only 10 cents to charge the electric battery. This mower I’ve looked up on the web and its been featured in Popular Science magazine, and several news prints raving it as a super Green lawnmower. Unit comes with bag attachments, mulch plug,etc. The Neuton has a ton of accessories available for it as well including a weed trimmer attachment and a lawn striper. I find these two attachments amazing I’ve never seen those before. Although I don’t go shopping for lawnmowers everyday. Is there other lawnmowers that have this?

Which search engine do you use? Google? Yahoo? Well here is a new one Eco-Search and it is GREEN. It harnesses the same results as Google search so you know your still getting quality, but all profit made from advertisements goes to environmental charities. So basically it is a non-profit search engine. Currently they are working on creating a similar Eco-Mall.

Their goal “on reducing pollution, helping to protect our natural resources and educating our future generations about the importance of protecting the environment”

Save the world, with Toilet Paper

How many times do you go the bathroom every day? How many times do you use toilet paper? Probably quite a few and it is quite wasteful to the environment. But you have to use it right? There aren’t many alternatives. Although there is that Japanese toilet that requires no toilet paper but let’s leave that for later. Fear not now there is a green toilet paper by Seventh Generation. That’s right! Now you can become green on the toilet. This green toilet paper is 100% recycled, not bad eh? Wait there’s more… the process to whiten the toilet paper is also environmentally friendly, as well free of dyes, inks, and fragrances. Seventh Generation toilet paper is also safe for septic systems. Now that’s some green toilet paper! Reviews have said the toilet paper is reasonably soft and comfortable. Any of you tried it yet?

This looks like a super way to turn green or become greener, especially since you use it every day. Every little bit helps. Imagine if everybody used this stuff!!

Here is a great way to go green, by using re-usable grocery bags. This is great because it something you will use often and can make a big difference in terms of product waste. No more box of plastic grocery bags sitting around your house or having bags tossed in the garbage after every grocery trip. Re-usable grocery bags are cheap and easy to store. They can carry more then a traditional plastic grocery bag, somewhere along the lines of those rectangular brown paper bags. They can be cleaned if you spill something in them or cheaply replaced. The bags are easily readily available to purchase at most larger grocery stores. Saves the stores money too not having to use thousands of plastic bags. Heck, maybe they’ll lower their grocery prices!
