Cameron: Four Months Old

Dear Cameron,

You are four months old today! Momma is SO sorry, but she didn't get your three month photos done! I'm going to work on finding some photos I can substitute for them.

We tried a whole bunch of new things since your two month check-in. Some things have worked out...others not-so-much.

Weight:

Birth: 6lbs 14oz
Two Weeks: 6lbs 4.5oz
One Month: 8lbs 1 oz
Two Months: 11lbs
Three Months: 13lbs
Four Months: 15lbs

Height:
Birth: 19 1/2 inches
Two Weeks: 19 3/4 inches

You haven't been measured since your two week checkup at the doctor's. You should be going here soon, however because we will have insurance soon!

You love sitting up, so we tried to sit you in the Bumbo for the first time! You loved it for about two minutes but then you wanted back in Momma's arms! I don't really mind though!

Since your two month check-in we have been experimenting with how much you drink. We temporarily tried fast nipples and 6oz of formula with the big bottles, but you got really gassy and over hydrated, so we have backed you back down to 5oz bottles with medium nipples. You have about 6-8 bottles a day, sometimes more sometimes less.

You love naps! You will nap just about anywhere, but your favorite place is in your bassinet. You like to stick one leg out just like Momma and Sissy!

You are currently still wearing 3-6 month onsies, 3 month onsies/shirts, 3mo pants, and 3-6 month sleepers! You are now in size 2 diapers and seem to be holding steady here.

We took you and your sister to the pumpkin patch (her second time, your first) and we had a good time! It was a little cold so we didn't stay long, but we did manage to snag an adorable picture of the two of us!

You giggle and jabber ALL.DAY.LONG. now! It is so cute! And Momma is really happy because it is very easy to make you belly laugh and I just love doing it! You are a very happy baby.

You rolled over from your back to your belly this month! Usually babies learn belly to back first, but not you! We honestly haven't done much tummy time with you, so maybe that's it. We will work on it!

New Stuffz

I thought I was going to get a bunch of blogging done tonight but it's 3am and I'm just now getting around to writing a post. So, this will be short and sweet.

It looks like I have had some coding issues with my header and a few other things, so I made a few changes. I readjusted my header, moved my social media buttons, redid my about me photo, updated my about me page, fixed my button and grab button code, and added a signature (which is my ACTUAL signature - kinda cool!)

So, tell me what you think! Hopefully this weekend I will be able to get an update post on Natalie and Cam's three month update post up, but I'm not sure if there will be much else! I want to post about a bunch of things that have happened since Cam was born, like:

Natalie's second birthday and party
Natalie's one and only time in her kiddie pool this summer
Fun at the park and mini golfing with the girl
The One Republic Concert the BFF and I went to
The kid's first trip to the fair
Florida State opening game in Pittsburgh
Natalie's first Jets game

I hope to also talk a little about my recent re-adventure into running in preparation for my 5k in December! I am hoping to re-start my Waist Watcher Wednesday posts when I can get back into blogging actively, so be on the lookout for that!

Cameron: Two Months Old

Dear Cameron,

Another month (almost two!) just flew on by!

Remember last month that I said you weren't eating like they wanted you to? Well, you sure changed that little (or should I say big) man! You are eating like it is your job! And you have started to do so many things already, I just can't believe that you are growing up so fast!

Last month you were drinking 4-5 oz every three hours. Now you are eating a full 5 oz every 2-3 hours! You are still a little piggypants, and I'm totally ok with that! You are a growing boy!

You are currently wearing 3-6 month onsies, 3 month onsies/shirts, newborn/3mo pants, and 3-6 month sleepers! You are currently still in size 1 diapers, but I don't think that will last for long. We will probably move you up after this box.

You have started to smile, and I've heard some coos from you, so you are finding your voice! I swear I heard you say "Momma" the other day but it was probably just a fluke!

It's Quiet around here...

On the blog that is!

In my life, however, it has been anything but quiet. We've had busted lips and cradle cap, lazy Saturdays and late nights. There've been frustrating times, but also joyous times. Hectic, and slow.

New sleep schedules and work schedules are taking some time to get adjusted to, and both Daddy and I have been pretty much exhausted on a daily basis. I know that once we get in the groove of the new things, that life will go back to some sort of normal, but for right now, this small update is the best I can do.

The baby is good, the toddler is good, and we are surviving. No doctor's appointments for a while, because we have to wait 90 days with Mike's new job before we can get insurance. Cam still hasn't gotten any of his immunizations, and it makes me a little nervous. Our financial situation is tight. Really tight. But we're trying to make the best of it. We will be ok.

So, thanks for sticking around, and I promise to at least keep these small updates coming!

Cameron: One Month Old

Dear Cameron,

I can't believe it's been a month already! If there is one thing that I remember about your big sister being born, it's that it is crazy how fast time goes by! You are doing amazing, and besides a little teeny concern about your weight gain, you are completely healthy!

After you were born we had your first checkup with your pediatrician, who is amazing. He was concerned that you hadn't gained enough and there was a screening that came back inconclusive for a vitamin from your hospital stay. So, we had to go draw some more blood, and you were a trooper! You barely cried at all. Luckily, at your last appointment the doctor said that your screen came back normal and you don't have a vitamin deficiency, which is definitely apparent lately with how much you have been eating!!

When you were born you weighed 6lbs 14oz. At your first appointment you weighed 6lbs 4.5oz. Two weeks later you weighed 6 lbs 9oz. At your "one month" appointment, you weighed 8lbs 1oz.

You were 19 1/2 inches when you were born. At your first appointment you were 19 3/4 inches long. We haven't measured you since then, but I wouldn't be surprised if you are already longer!

When you came home from the hospital you were drinking approximately 3 oz of formula at a time, every four hours. Now, you are drinking 4-5 oz at a time, and you are eating about every three hours! You are a little piggypants, and you snort just like one! It is so cute! And you are just like your sister in that you do not like to burp! You will finish a whole bottle and never burp! I find that just crazy!

You are currently wearing newborn and 0-3 month onsies and sleepers and newborn diapers. We will probably be moving you to size 1s this month! You are growing so quickly!

Other than your vitamin thing, you just have a little bit of congestion in your nose, much like your sister did when she was little. I think you also may be having some trouble swallowing all of your bottle because it seems to get worse for a little bit after you eat. The doctor doesn't seem to be concerned, however, so we are not worried about it!

Momma and Daddy love you like crazy, and sister does too! We are enjoying your snuggles so much!

My Husband Rocks: Vol. 25: Stepping Away

No husband is perfect and it doesn’t really matter. What matters is how I set myself up to think about him. If I focus on his failures, his annoyances, or ways in which I’ve felt hurt by him, then I will interact with him as a hurt and frustrated and disappointed wife. That makes for miserable living for me and my husband and those around us. But if I focus on his strengths, his potential, and the ways in which I feel blessed by him, then I will interact with him as a forgiving, blessed, and contented wife. And there’s no greater need a man has than to feel respected by his wife. If he feels like all he does is hurt, disappoint, and frustrate, then the same atmosphere and the same actions will be perpetuated. But if he feels that his wife can be happy and responsive regardless of his shortcomings, he feels respected and empowered. Then a positive atmosphere is perpetuated and actions, once destructive, can improve in an environment that is rich for cultivation and growth into deepened respect and intimacy."

By now, all of you probably know that I have a newborn and a two year old. Any of you who have children of your own you will be able to relate to me when I say that I have had zero time lately. I barely have time to write this post! And I haven't really gotten a lot of interest from this linkup, so that has made me come to the decision to step away from this link up for a while. Not forever, just a few months or so. I love giving my husband props for the things that he does for me and this family, and that will continue, and I still may post about him from time to time, but for right now I need to downsize.

I will still be posting but it will be more of a whenever I can kind of thing. It's all I can handle right now, at least until Cam is a little bit older and needing me a little less. I want to take full advantage of his snuggles while I can!

3. 52 in 52 updates once a month (6/12 )

4. Post Desire to Inspire posts once a month. Also taking a break from this, see number 2.

5. "Little Miss Natalie" posts twice a month. Here and here. (5/12)

13. Lose all baby weight (starting weight: 210) (current weight: 214) I am going to be starting my weight loss program on September 1st. My bestie's husband made me a workout plan, and I am officially swearing off soda again, because I have gained two pounds since I was weighed at my post partum appointment.

6. Rename all photos, organize, and delete duplicates. Still in progress.

24. Get a meal planning system going. We have been doing really well with eating at home, but still don't have an actual schedule yet. We haven't had the money to go grocery shopping all in one trip, so are having to go every few days and eat cheap.

30. Update baby book monthly. I haven't really been doing this much. But not much has changed.

38. Montly update shots of Cameron. Month one is done. See it here.

45. Have a set bedtime and wakeup time and stick to it, even on weekends. I've downloaded an app that is supposed to help me with this. I started using it this week, so we will see how it goes.

49. Read 25 books. (2/25) Read: Fifty Shades Darker. Currently: (still waiting on) Fifty Shades Freed.

That's it for now! September is going to be the month of gym time! I hope I can fit it in to my already hectic schedule. I'm going to be looking to my hubby for help with this!

Some of your new tricks:

When you're on Daddy's shoulders, you take his hat, put it on, and then take it off and go "yeeehaw!"

When you swing you love to repeat "Weee! Weee!" over and over!

You run around in circles going "woohoo! yay! woohoo! yay!"

You turn your bike over and pretend to "fix" it (I honestly don't know where this one came from!)

You learned how to work your sit and spin toy, which you had been trying to work for months!

You like to take your monkey and "stow" him in the back of your tricycle or inside your Minnie mouse car.

Speaking of tricycle, you love riding it! We even got you a helmet and knee/elbow pads and you love them too!

You are such a little fish! You love to swim, and you love the pool that you got for your birthday!

You like to roar like a dinosaur! Then when Momma roars back at you, you scream like you're scared and drop like you're dead! You are so funny!

I want to be able to ask someone the very first sentence I ever learned in French "Ou est le biblioteque?" Where is the library. I want to go to said library and pick out a book in French to look at. And I want to do it all with my husband by my side. I know he wouldn't be as excited about it, but he would do it - for me.

And for that, my husband rocks. =)

This week we are talking about anything you want!

This week has been a doozy. Let's just say that my first few days back at work have been crazy, and things at home have been even crazier. Hubby lost his job this week, but everything is ok. Let's just say that it was time to move on, and he already has another job, he is just waiting for his drug test to come back and for his start date.

So, this week, my husband rocks because he has been taking care of the kids all week, and I know from experience that is NOT an easy task. I'm surprised that he hasn't pulled his hair out and told me to come home early! He's an amazing dad, and I am so thankful that he is the father of my children.

My husband rocks because I've been hurting in my shoulders a little this week (possibly the stress from delivery finally stretching back out, or a strain, or a number of things) and he has been really supportive and has been giving me time to be on the heating pad without having to get up.

My husband rocks for not complaining about all the dishes in the sink that I haven't felt like washing, because we have been cooking at home all week. Dishes are my arch nemesis, second only to trains.

My husband rocks for still alternating nights with me taking care of little man, and doesn't complain when it's his turn. Granted, Cameron has been SUPER about sleeping already, so it's not a HUGE deal, but it's still nice.

My husband rocks for the way he takes care of Natalie and entertains her when I am finally at the end of my rope and frustrated with her. I hate her whineyness sometimes, and he comes to my rescue and plays with her for me.

My husband rocks for the way he jumps in with Cameron when he knows I need a break.

My husband rocks for bringing me home Mountain Dew when we can't really afford it. (you know because of the whole no job, being tight on money thing)

My husband rocks. He keeps this up I might have to actually like him! =)

No seriously, he is amazing and I am completely and irrevocably in love with him! (name that movie)

Cameron's Due Date: Where are we today?

So not only is today Cameron's due date, but today is my first day back at work. I am so missing this little face:

But I know that I need to be at work. Gotta love not having paid maternity leave. Since I am currently nostalgic, I thought I would take this time to write down Cameron's birth story, for the record.

It all started the morning of July 2nd. My doctor agreed to induce me at 38 weeks. So, we spent the night with Natalie and took her up to Nana's house, and headed in to the hospital to get ready. I got in my gown and got in the bed, and proceeded to wait.

My best friend arrived a little while later, and hung out most of the day with me. Her and hubby took turns walking with me after receiving my first dose of medication that was supposed to thin everything out and jump start labor. I sat on the birthing ball a little bit, and after the second dose, and two hours in bed, I started walking again.

My sister arrived later on in the afternoon and hung out with me. She would be staying all night until I had Cameron, and my mom was watching her kids.

About 6:00 they started the Pitocin. At first nothing happened. It was a lot more waiting. Jess (my best friend) had to leave for work, and at the time there wasn't anything going on.

All at once everything started happening. At first, I thought that I could handle the contractions. Then one came, and I remember saying "oh...this is what it felt like all day with Natalie." Then another one. This one hurt - badly. Then they just started getting worse and worse, and I remember something setting me off and I started crying, and compounded with the pain I just couldn't stop crying. I remember squeezing my sisters hand so tight and looking at her, but not really seeing her. In the time of four contractions, my body had gone from 0 to 100 miles an hour and it was only going to get worse.

I had originally wanted to try and make it without an epidural. Well, I am here to tell you that every single person in that room was trying to talk me into it, and I finally gave in. In between tears, contractions, my heaving chest, and my nose (which I actually asked to blow before they inserted the epidural in my back) they proceeded to stick a needle in my back. While it hurt, it was NOTHING compared to what I had just been through. Hubby held my hands and my hair, and told me I was beautiful and he was so proud of me, and helped me through holding still for the time I needed to.

It was the smartest thing I have ever been talked into. Within minutes my whole lower body was a limp noodle and I couldn't feel a thing. She had said to me that I might get some feeling back after the initial dose, but let me tell you I never felt a THING. My legs were two tons - EACH. Instantly I felt amazing enough to close my eyes and try and get some sleep, with Hubby in the chair beside me holding my hand. (at least I think that's where he was) I was out for what felt like two hours, but it was maybe 30 minutes.

Around midnight they woke me up, checked me and said that I was ready to go. Jess was getting off of work, and I asked them if I could wait for her to get there before I started pushing. They agreed, and soon after she arrived, we started. Now, keep in mind that I said my legs were two ton sticks of jello. I could not lift them for the life of me. So, I had my sister holding one leg, and Mike holding the other, and we started to push. Mike said he was thrown off by this, but I don't think any of us was expecting me not to be able to hold my legs.

I'm guessing that I was pushing for around an hour. I don't remember much of it. I know that they ended up giving me oxygen while I was pushing, and I ended up at one point yelling at the nurse.

All I have to say is that woman needed to learn how to count in rapid succession! It seemed like she would either skip numbers or have a big ol' pause in between numbers, until she frustrated me enough to yell "YOU COUNT TOO SLOW!!" Mike says she was counting fine, it was just my imagination. But, seriously, I couldn't breathe, and she was asking me to hold my breath and push WAY past a count of ten, and then wouldn't give me two breaths in between pushes! UGH!

I do remember the doctor getting up and leaving, though how long she was gone I don't know (hubby says it was almost a half hour and he was wondering IF she was even coming back!) but eventually she was back.

So, I remember almost feeling like I was close to the end (even if I couldn't feel anything) and I got a second wind. I pushed four times instead of three, and in the middle of the last push they told me to stop, because the cord was actually around his neck. Luckily everything was easily fixed, and they pulled him the rest of the way out! He was here! They put him on my chest and dried him off. Mike cut the cord and then (bless them!! best thing ever!) they let me continue to hold him! If you know the story about Natalie you know that she was wisked away from me almost immediately after birth, because she was premature, so this was such a wonderful thing to be able to bond with him almost immediately!

Eventually, they took him so that they could do all the measurements and give him his first bath, which I watched from the bed. Then Mike dressed him in his first outfit, and fed him. I, however, was complaining about losing a bit of my vision, and I was just exhausted, so I leaned my head back and I believe slept for about 30 minutes.

Meanwhile, everyone helped move our stuff over to the room we would be staying in, and eventually the nurse woke me up and asked me if I could feel my legs at all. I could feel my right one a bit, but my left leg was still numb. So, the nurse brought over the wheelchair and got me into the bathroom and cleaned up, and then took me over to our room to get settled in. I got into the bed, got settled, and so did Mike and so begins his little life!

We snuggled a little bit that night, and the next day he was visited and loved by many of his family! He is a very happy baby, and I am loving him to pieces!

I miss him already!!

Little Miss Natalie: Birthday Edition!

Oh my munchkin!! How fast this year has flown by! I made you a new button, because you have just been changing so much, and you are too darn cute in this photo!

Today is your birthday. Two years ago, right at this very moment you entered the world, and grabbed your Daddy's finger. It was love for you two (and Momma as well!) at first sight!

That first month FLEW by, because half of it you spent in the NICU. When we finally got you home you grew so fast!

At six months, you had just started eating solid foods, you learned to roll from your back to your belly, you started to play with your feet, and you were doing an awesome job sitting up on your own!

By your first birthday you were doing so many awesome things! You were holding your bottle on your own, you had gotten your first three teeth, and you were SO close to walking!! You had a blast at your birthday party, and enjoyed your first bite of cake which you LOVED - and still do might I add!

The next six months brought your first steps, your first sentences, your first trip to the zoo, your first time going swimming, playing peek-a-boo, your first "TOUCHDOWN!", the arrival of your cousin Celia, your first trip to the pumpkin patch, and the announcement that you would be a big sister!

Since then, you have been amazing us with your intelligence and your quick wit and general goofiness! You are a fantastic kid! You love the Bubble Guppies, hockey and the Devil's goal horn, playing with your blocks, bouncy balls of all shapes and sizes, your sesame street rock band toys, and riding your bike. You are so smart, and you love to talk! You love chicken nuggets and "fry fries", cake and frozen yogurt, and "iced tea".

You have endless energy and keep us running whenever we are out somewhere! You have the best habits, you love to take baths, and brush your teeth, and never fight Momma when going into your carseat or changing your diaper. It's like you already understand that you need those things to be happy and safe, so you never give a fuss about it!

You've been to your first circus, and your first arcade, as well as took you to your first baseball game for Mother's Day! Daddy and I also took you on your first road trip to the Devil's hockey stadium the weekend before your brother came, and we went to the zoo for Father's Day.

Two weekends ago, we took you swimming again, and you had a blast!! You just love the water, kinda like your Momma! I wonder if you will be a swimmer.

We also got you a big girl bed which I think you are really loving! You are doing well with it for the most part, you just don't ever want to stay in bed, you want to get out and play! We will get there!

And then there is this new little person in your life, who I think you love more than you love us! Yep! Your baby brother Cameron! You LOVE him, and are so excited to see him every day! It makes my heart burst when I see you together.

We had a little birthday party for you yesterday, and here are a few photos from the party.

NAIL POLISH!

So, I actually did my nails this past Friday because I had been wearing my favorite color, Plum Luck by Sally Hansen, but it chipped pretty badly before I got any good pictures of it. This is what I have been wearing since then:

It was actually inspired by a friend of mine who got her nails done at a salon in an OPI shade that is very close to this. Only difference that I can see is that hers had a good bit of glitter where as Raisin the Bar has more of a metallic feel to the polish. It almost looks like the Essie bronze/penny color.

52 in 52 Update: July

5. "Little Miss Natalie" posts twice a month. I missed out on this. Something about being pregnant, being in labor, and having a newborn? (4/12)

13. Lose all baby weight (starting weight: 210) (current weight: 212) This is going to be easy, it feels like cheating! But I guess it's also good because it means that I did a good job not gaining a whole bunch of weight while pregnant.

6. Rename all photos, organize, and delete duplicates. Still in progress.
24. Get a meal planning system going. We have a menu planned by week for five weeks, and hopefully will be able to start in a week or two. I'm thinking about writing about our meal plans/recipes, but not sure if anyone would be interested.

30. Update baby book monthly. I received a baby book for Cameron from Hallmark that I actually like better than the one I have for Natalie. I'm planning on purchasing one for Natalie soon.
31. ~~Throw/host a Wizard of Oz themed 2nd birthday party~~. We are doing a little party and decided to do Bubble Guppies instead since Natalie is currently OBSESSED. Completed (?) 7/14/13
32. Finish 0-6 month scrapbook. Still haven't done anything with this one. All of her stuff is currently packed away and I don't have the time or energy to do this right now, so I am taking this one off of the active goals for a while.
~~37. Bump shots weekly starting at 18 weeks~~. Completed 7/3/13 I've totally failed at this. I got a few more, but no where near weekly. I should have enough to put into his scrapbook, and I am no longer pregnant, so this one is as complete as it gets.
38. Montly update shots of Cameron. This will start on 8/3/13 with month one!
~~39. Buy a second crib/bassinet or toddler bed for Natalie~~. Completed 6/16/13!

45. Have a set bedtime and wakeup time and stick to it, even on weekends. I've got weekdays down pretty good, and with the baby I think this is going to get easier because I have agreed to do all 6-7am feedings, so it is enough to wake me up and keep me up. (for the most part)

49. Read 25 books. (2/25) Read: Fifty Shades Darker. Currently: (waiting on) Fifty Shades Freed.

50. Buy a pool this summer. Not sure if we are going to still buy this or not. Hoping to, but we will see.

That's it for now! August is going to be a busy month for the start of about 10 of my goals, but I am excited to get back on the weight loss wagon! I can't wait to get back in the gym and turn into the hot mama I wanna be! Next update will be August 9th!

On My Heart: Doubts and Guilty Feelings - The Follow Up

I will be linking up with Amanda @ A Royal Daughter for today's On My Heart post. Amanda's blog and the way she lives her life inspires me, which is what this post is all about.

I first want to thank Lacey @ Little Miss Nerd Girl - Lady, your words helped me so much, and I don't think that you have any idea. So, thank you, so much!

I've had a few days to settle in to this new schedule and life that is mine, and I have to say that all those fears and doubts were so ridiculous. This little boy of mine, is amazing. He's squishy and he smells like brand new baby, and he's got an adorable little head of hair that is so soft I can't help but rub his head. He is mine, he has my eyes, and my fingers, and oh is he mine. I am completely smitten.

And his big sister....be still my heart. She lights up every time she walks into the room that he's in, yells "heyyyyyy baby!" and gasps and smiles really huge! She is probably more smitten with him than I am! And at this point he has been home for four days and it doesn't look like she is going to change her ways any time soon! I could be wrong, but I think that she is going to be a great helper, if her actions so far reflect what it will continue to be like. So far she has brought him his bottle, helped feed him, shared her monkey with him, and brought him a blanket! (even though it was completely unnecessary, yet still adorable)

To make it short and sweet, I don't know what I was thinking. He is amazing. She is amazing. My husband is amazing. Everything is perfect, and I couldn't be happier.

I was so wrong, and I am so happy that I was wrong.

This week we are talking about anniversaries! Mine was just two days ago, so I thought it appropriate.

Our anniversaries have started to becoming pretty low key since having Natalie, and this year was no different, especially with having a newborn less than a week old. In fact, we didn't do anything at all. We stayed in, I stayed in my pajamas that I had been in ALL day, and we got dollar menu and chicken nuggets for big sister for dinner. And you know what? It was perfect. Because I have my husband, who rocks,

Anniversary: 4 years married!

Cameron Glenn is here! He arrived in the wee hours of the morning after Momma finally opted for an epidural, and he is absolutely perfect!

Today, in honor of my son who will (hopefully) be born in the next 24 hours or so, I decided to celebrate with a fun, bright blue! When Natalie was born I was wearing a fabulous peachy pink so I thought I would keep with the "tradition." Other than not knowing that it was a matte nail polish when I bought it, the color is great! I just added Seche Vite on top and it made it nice and shiny! I love it, and can't wait to bring Cameron into the world wearing it!

This week we are doing another free for all because I am writing this post in advance! You are probably aware that currently my family and I are in New Jersey at the Prudential Center, home of the Devils, for the NHL draft! I assure you that I am having a fantastic time, and I have to say that My Husband Rocks for entering this contest and scoring us this amazing experience and turning this into a little mini vacay/ last hurrah with Natalie as an only child before Cameron arrives on Tuesday!

So, since I don't really have anything other than that to say right now, I'm just going to flood you with pictures of recent days with our only child, while she is still our only child!

Because My Husband Rocks for giving me both of these wonderful children, and I can't wait to meet Cameron, see his face, try to figure out what he looks like, see if he was also blessed with his father's eyes, and to hear what he sounds like when he cries and smell his skin and hold his soft baby squishiness! And for Natalie, who is just astounding us every day with her amazing new quirks, words, actions, and her ever growing personality! She is so much FUN right now!

Baby Cameron Update

We might be insane. No, I'm pretty sure we are insane.

Let me clarify:

Hubby and I are taking Natalie on a four hour trip to Jersey this weekend. Mike won tickets to the NHL draft being hosted at the Prudential Center (home to the Devils - our team) and they are providing us with VIP passes, swag bags, possible floor seating and lots of things for little kids to do as well, which I am thinking Natalie is going to have a blast! It is her first long car ride, and it is going to be a little uncomfortable for me, but we're going up the night before, stopping halfway to eat, and staying in a hotel that has a pool and free wifi and TODDLER BEDS so that is really cool. We are also staying the night after the draft as well in the same hotel, and then going home in the morning, so I'm really not all that worried. It is going to be a lot of fun. But, at the same time I am almost 38 weeks pregnant. I hope I don't go into labor while we're up there, but if I do we'll figure it out. I'm not holding my breath because Cameron seems to be pretty dang comfy.

So comfy in fact, that they are going to be inducing me! I will work a half a day on Monday and then Tuesday morning we go in!

And so, Cameron's birthday will hopefully be July 2, 2013 or July 3, 2013, almost two weeks before his sister's second birthday. I think we will be allowed to go home on the 4th of July more than likely, which is perfect because I picked out fourth of July outfits for both Cameron and Natalie and they match perfectly! I can't wait to dress them both in their outfits!

It's real and it's really happening! I'm not sure whether to freak out, or be excited, or FREAK OUT! In FOUR days I will have my first (and possibly last) boy, my second (and possibly LAST) child, and Natalie will finally be a big sister!

I can't wait!!

So, forgive me if I fall off the face of the blogging world for a while, in order to take in the smell of my new squishy and enjoy some MUCH needed time to rest, love, and be with my family. Because that's what it's all about!

Please excuse the horrible bathroom selfie... this is probably the last preggo picture I will ever take, except maybe one Tuesday morning. =)
