Music Lover

One of my friends who is married to a musician is coming to see me and my kids next week. I am excited because she hasn't seen my second son. Her husband is the sound technician in their church and also has a band of his own. They use ampeg svt classic whenever they practice their songs and guess where they practice? At their own apartment! People don't hear them because they used some type of sound proofing in their room. I find it really amazing. I'm just glad she will be able to come and visit.

When Steven went back to America and I was left behind in the Philippines, I started to buy jewelry making tools and made my own jewelry. Earrings were the easiest to make so made some for my mom and sisters. I wish I could do it here in US now that the materials are nicer but having two little kids is kinda hard. I have to wait until they are more grown and can play with each other. That way, I can have my own time. I am truly blessed to have two kids. After having my second one, I thought I would never think of wanting a third child but now that all the pain is gone, I kinda want one. So we'll see what God's plan is for us.

Easter

Steven and I were talking about Easter and how we will tell our kids about it. I'm glad I came across this article "Teaching Kids About Easter". I don't want my kids to think Easter is just about egg hunting and bunnies. It's all about Jesus and why He died and rose from the dead for us. I'm ready to tell my kids when they understand more.

Recovering

When I was at the hospital recovering after my c-section, I was in so much pain that I kept asking the nurses for pain medicine. They had to go to their medication cart to get my medicine. But of course, they couldn't give me more. I really wanted to come home with Josiah and be with Steven and Aiden. It was hard being alone and in a lot of pain. I'm so glad it's over now. I don't have to look forward to it anymore.

Sticking to our Budget

I'm so glad we live in a place that has low cost electricity. It is so important for us to be able to stick to our budget every month including with the bills. We are grateful that we are not paying for water and sewage fees because they really add up especially having two kids now. I use cloth diapers which is awesome but I have to wash several times a day. I wish I can just dry them in the sun but we can't do that here unless it's summer.

My Josiah is three weeks old. He is growing really fast! Some newborn clothes hardly fit him now. He is still tiny which I really love because I can easily hold him and he is very light. He is super cute too!

I like using Target coupons especially because I shop at Target quite often. They are easy to download and redeem at the store. The store is also close to where I live so it is easier for me to walk there with my kids. So whenever I need some groceries, I always check Target online first to see if they have good deals.

Poor Aiden, he is having a hard time adjusting to having a baby brother since he's still a baby too. We think he thinks he's a big boy and it seemed like he had grown but he's my baby still. We try so hard to spend as much time with Aiden since he is the older one. Hopefully, he'll be able to adjust soon.

Depression

It's really amazing to know how important Psychiatrist Jobs are. I've been asked several times if I'm experiencing post-partum depression so that I can get help immediately. Sometimes I do get sad but it is not like depress where I can't be happy anymore. The jobs of the people counseling is really important. I'm glad there people who are willing to help.

Meet the newest addition to our family, Josiah. He was born December 28, 2011 at 2:08 AM. He was 8 lbs 9 oz. We forgot to bring our camera when we went to the hospital. I was so disappointed because he doesn't have pictures when he first came out. When they showed him to me, I was super happy and glad he has chubby cheeks. He looked like his brother when he came out.

Steven and I went for my surgery for my c-section. During the c-section, they were very rough when removing the baby. When Aiden was born, it was so easy---they just cut me open and took him out. This time around they really pulled and jerked the baby out. Seriously, they pulled and pulled and pulled and really shook my body back and forth trying to get the baby out.
My body hurts so much more this time around....and I think it is because of just how rough the surgery was. I mean, it's not like they need to buy malpractice insurance or anything. I'm just saying, it was pretty violent. I felt strange being awake while they were doing that.

Steven and I kept our carpets really clean all the time. That way when we move out of our apartment, we won't have to pay the owner won't take any of our deposit for repair. Now that we have kids we are preparing to have our carpets cleaned before we move out. Kids are so messy especially when they eat or when they are able to walk and carry drinks around.

I found a website called http://www.thesteamteam.com where you can hire them to clean your carpets up for you. They provide different services like hardwood floor cleaning or marble cleaning and many others. I suggest going to their website to see if they provide the cleaning you need. The household carpet cleaner austin is what I need. They are located in Austin, Texas. I would let my friends know who live there about them.

My friend told me her husband's credit card was used by someone to buy things at Walmart. He really argued with the credit card company. I think he needs the rfid credit card so it won't happen again. I'm just glad we don't own a credit card for now because it is really scary when someone uses it without your knowledge. It's crazy!

Too Much Cake

Since last Thursday, we have been eating cakes because it was my baby shower at Steven's work and then Saturday, I made a cake for Aiden. Then Sunday, I had another baby shower and another cake. I need appetite control to not keep eating the leftover cakes. I did gave a lot of it but still have some left. I have gained so much already and I can't seem to control it.

I love rustic furniture. It is my dream furniture actually. Furniture made of logs just look beautiful especially if your house is made of wood too. Someday if we are able to afford to buy new furniture, I will ask my husband for wooden furniture.

Apartment

Our undermount sink looks really good on our sink. I do like our new apartment. It is well planned and just perfect for having toddlers around. The dining floor is not carpeted so I don't worry about stains so much. I'm just glad I could easily clean up when Aiden makes a mess.

I would love to have my own desk name plates someday but that will never happen. I will never become someone's boss or I don't see myself working in an office setting. I guess this is how my life's going to be. Being a mom is challenging but it's fun most of the time. Sometimes I get really tired when Aiden is not feeling well. That's the only time I get really frustrated.

We passed by an rv station where people do the rv towing and be able to relax for a bit. I would love to bring an rv with us some time and just go to the woods and camp. It is cold and it would be fun to just be away from people sometimes. We missed camping this year because of Aiden and being pregnant but having an rv would be awesome.

Let It Snow

People who are into winter sports will really enjoy skiing or snowboarding this year. They will need thule ski racks to get them started since snow has started on other places. I know our mountains have and some of my friends are already enjoying it. I am just too afraid of the doing winter sports plus I'm a wimp when it comes to the cold.
