INTRODUCING VAUGHN ANTHONY

John Legend is keeping it in the family when it comes to finding the next artists for his HomeSchool Records label. He signed his younger brother Vaughn Anthony in November of 2007. After years of training and performing background vocals, John feels now is the time to bring Mr. Vaughn to the forefront. From Billboard:

Vaughn has a great voice and a great talent for writing, and I've seen that grow over time because he just worked so hard at it. I think he's ready now.
To introduce Anthony, Legend will host a showcase for industry executives at S.O.B.'s in New York on Thursday night (May 14) in the hopes of securing a distribution deal. "It's an important venue for me," says Legend. "It was one of the places where I really launched my career." Chrisette Michele, Ryan Leslie and Kat DeLuna are among the VIPs expected to attend, and both Legend and Estelle are rumored to be performing in addition to Anthony, who will debut seven tracks from the upcoming album. As for the inevitable comparisons between siblings, Legend insists he's not concerned. "I think people make too much of it," he says. "Of course our voices are similar, we have the same genetic material. But the songs reflect his personality, and he's not me."
Anthony agrees. "Not only do me and John sound alike," he says, "but we sound like my uncles and my father. There's nothing I can really do about it but just be myself--which is far left from where [John] is--and try and make the best music I can make."

So Louis Vuitton has reportedly called the rapper out for endorsing a pair of fake LV shades he wore on the May 2009 cover of XXL Magazine. They wrote an open letter to Ross and the magazine:

We were dismayed to see the cover of the May 2009 issue of XXL Magazine, which features a photo of Rick Ross wearing a pair of sunglasses prominently featuring counterfeit Louis Vuitton trademarks.
The sunglasses Mr. Ross is wearing were not made by Louis Vuitton, and in fact, are counterfeit. Louis Vuitton did not grant permission to Mr. Ross or to whoever did make the sunglasses to use our trademarks. The second is that no affiliation, sponsorship or association exists between Rick Ross or XXL and Louis Vuitton. The third is that counterfeiting is illegal.

YBF broke the news that there will indeed be a baby Weezy on the way via Lauren London. Supposedly, Lauren is now 5 months pregnant. Confirmation came about about a celebrity manager stated that Lauren had to turn down a movie role due to her pregnancy. Now Weezy and the two dated a while back but evidently something got rekindled somewhere. Of course, neither of the 2 have confirmed anything so we'll have to see how things play out.

OK, seriously, these 2 are really starting to annoy me for some strange reason. I really think it's because their relationship seems so unreal to me. I guess that's not for me to determine. Anywho, according to Scandalist, Jennifer was so blown away by the over-the-top romantic proposal from David that she wanted to do the same. She presented David with a 5 carat diamond ring last month personally designed by Hollywood designer Neil Lane. According to Neil:

The date of the wedding and where it will be still hasn't been disclosed so we'll just see how this one plays out. Hopefully it will end in matrimony this time for her and not another failed proposal. She's dealt with enough pain already.

Ashanti and Murder Inc. have finally parted ways. Irv Gotti told MTV News that he and Ashanti haven't spoken in a while and he's left with no other choice but to end their music and business affiliation.

You’re talking to somebody that took her and shaped and molded her and put her out there for the world, and it blew up. So I see the "stalker" buzz is going crazy. It's seems like every 'worthy' celeb has one these days.

Well, Tyrese's alleged stalker has apparently been sending him crazy messages on his Twitter page like "Now that your wife is finally out of the picture Daddy, it's my turn...". Supposedly, the messages started when the stalker identified as 'Patricia' heard about Tyrese's divorce from wife Norma. Tyrese told TMZ:
