I definitely found the link to this idea on Pinterest and then it was on a website written in a foreign language I do not understand. Sad. Good thing I can visually imagine steps and ideas sometimes without needing instructions. Instructions are for babies anyway. I'm pretty sure you just take an old doily or even an antique napkin and make yourself some super cute pockets on the grandma cardigan of yours. Grandma is getting fancy.

Hippie Creamer

2013. The year I decided to try and be more eco-friendly and cheap.

Normally not possible to do both but with the combo of coupons and Pinterest I have found some successes. One of those is making my own creamer.

Creamer is so expensive and I do feel bad throwing away a perfectly good container. You can only have so many containers for your craft supplies.

So my goal is to try making this sometime this week.

I'll let you know if it's any good. Or if I go back to the dark side of International Delight.

I figure someday I will need all these super cute amazing decoration ideas and I don't want to lose them into the abyss known as the internet. How sad if I could never find that one picture again. In my search for cute ideas that I have no reason to be searching for I came across a tutorial / idea that I know someone I know would use. Take your old pack n play and cut out the mesh and use as a reading tent. How cute and eco-friendly of you.

I have started a survival kit much to the dismay of my husband. He thinks I am ridiculous. He won't be laughing when I leave him behind in the zombie apocalypse.
So in my frantic search for cheap survival (cause duh it has to be cheap) I am always looking on Pinterest to find the perfect combo where I can feel crafty and survive. I found it. An amazing 2-fer. So go buy a tub of crisco and get and old string and bam you have a never-ending lantern / candle that will burn for up to 45 days. Or you can just throw it. It looks pretty heavy.

I do also have an imaginary future baby girl who is super sassy and wears lots of pink.
So let's say that maybe I plan parties for her because I love fluffy things and the color pink.
I will be devastated if her favorite color is purple.
Or if I have all boys.
So in planning these future birthdays I saw this cute craft idea on Pinterest.
Though it came with no instructions I think it would be rather easy and cute for a tutu party.

My purse is a mess. Every month when I decide to actually change my purse and or clean it out - it terrifies me. The amount of trash I find in there is astounding. The last is the best kind.

Am I too old for sleepovers? I mean I know I am married but a bottle of wine and talking all night with my girlfriends still sounds very similar to my "sleepover" days of middle school. I always end up with two or none. Without fail. So maybe if my mom or husband buys me this, I will always have a charged phone. And a charged phone = the pinterest app. Which makes everyone a happy camper.

The ribbon organization is my craft room would be what you call disastrous. And that may be saying it nicely. I pull one out and boom the whole shelf goes. Nothing like spending your night wrapping back up hot pink and blue ribbon. Way. Fun. So when I saw this on Pinterest my little ribbons got so happy.

Take an old straw holder and unhook the top. Stack rolls of ribbon onto the stick in the middle and return top to stick. Bam. Now you can pull up your ribbon without them going everywhere. Hallelujah.
