Beloved, this is absolutely mindblowing to me! The Lord Jesus perfectly understood Daniel 9:24-27 and used this prophetic text in Matthew 18:21-22 as an example of what full and complete forgiveness is in RIGHTEOUSNESS! O beloved, how many believers in the risen Savior of today miss all the signs and wonders of our hour! Beloved, below is a brief outline of Jesus' message to Peter on full and complete forgiveness in RIGHTEOUSNESS and its complete and full reconciliation of both parties! Also, it is a deeper look into the beautiful love and reconciliation of Yahweh God with His people Israel in the near future (Zech. 12-14)! The very One teaching Peter on forgiveness and reconciliation in RIGHTEOUSNESS, will be the very One who will be the propitiation for Israel, but also the whole world (Isa. 53, 1 John 4:7-10)! Divine Restoration and Forgiveness in RIGHTEOUSNESS - Daniel 9:24-27

1. “Seventy Times Seven” Comes Directly From Daniel’s Prophecy

When Jesus said:

“I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven.”
— Matthew 18:22

He used the exact language of Daniel 9:24:

“Seventy weeks (seventy sevens) are determined upon thy people…”

Daniel’s phrase “70 weeks” literally means:

70 × 7 = 490 years

In Hebrew:

shabuim = “sevens”
So 70 sevens = 490

Jesus’ wording directly echoes Daniel’s timeline.

2. Daniel’s 490-Year Prophetic Clock

Daniel 9:24–27 lays out six purposes God will accomplish within these “70 sevens”:

Finish the transgression
Make an end of sins
Make reconciliation for iniquity
Bring in everlasting righteousness
Seal up the vision and prophecy
Anoint the Most Holy

These are fulfilled in stages:

First 69 weeks (483 years) → Messiah comes
Gap (church age)
Final 70th week (7 years) → tribulation, covenant, abomination of desolation, restoration

When Peter asked Jesus how often to forgive, Jesus responded:

“70 × 7” — the Daniel number — the number of God’s complete forgiveness.

This is not accidental.

Jesus was teaching:

As God is completing His 490-year plan to forgive Israel, so you must forgive fully and completely.

It’s a prophetic hint pointing back to Daniel’s countdown of forgiveness and reconciliation:

Daniel 9:24 → “to make an end of sins”

Jesus was saying:

Forgive as God forgives: completely, fully, perfectly — “70 sevens.”

Almighty God Created You With An ETERNAL Divine Purpose

“So God created man in His own image, in the image of God created He him; male and female created He them” (Gen. 1:27). Almighty God made every person either male or female, and everything Almighty God does is ABSOLUTELY COMPLETE and RIGHT. He made absolutely no mistakes at the beginning of the creation (Gen. 1:31). We need to be the person Almighty God made us to be, both by creation and also by redemption: “In whom we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace” (Eph. 1:7).

If a biological male identifies as a female, then he should be allowed to be a female, according to the lawless rationale of our ETERNAL Creator, rejecting, relativistic, politically correct society.

We are now told by government and society that a person’s sex or gender is not determined by biology, but by psychology. Supposedly, each person may decide his or her own gender, based on one’s own subjective sense of identity. Some examples: A girl suffering from anorexia could be very thin, but she sees herself as fat. To honor such wrong thinking could be disastrous for her. Also, can a Hispanic person or a Caucasian person suddenly declare himself to be Chinese or an Eskimo? Is our ethnicity based on how we might self-identify? If we can change our birth sex, can we also change our birth date? Can a thirteen-year-old identify as a 21-year-old who would be legally able to vote, drive, and drink? Can a 5'10" basketball player become a 6'7" player just by seeing himself as taller? Would his height delusion or the demanding of society to receive his delusion improve his game? When we leave the realm of reality, there is no end to the nonsense that results (Rom. 1:18-32). Dear friends, is this not a simple matter to discern? But in the mind of millions, it all comes down to one's own personal rebellion, lawless selfish ambitions, and narcissistic thinking; that all are expendable and must be forced to keep one's illusion and delusion alive and intact.

We tell Almighty God, I want to be what I want to be and live the way that I want to live, and don't you dare judge me or shed any ETERNAL REALITY on my subjective delusion.

Dear friends, does not the world do the very same thing when it comes to the ETERNAL RIGHTEOUSNESS of Almighty God? We who are fallen sinners tell Almighty God that we are RIGHTEOUS and DO NOT need His propitiation and Savior (Psalm 14, John 3:16-21, 1 John 1:8-10)! We tell and demand of Almighty God, I want to be what I want to be and live the way that I want to live, and don't you dare judge me or shed any ETERNAL REALITY on my subjective delusion! Dear friends, that mindset is the true fulfillment and heart of all such crazy thinking in our world today!

The all-wise ETERNAL RIGHTEOUS Creator does all things well, and for us to lecture Him and condemn Him is indeed the height and zenith of man's insanity and rebellion!

HOW CAN I SING GOD BLESS AMERICA?

Beloved, there comes a time when God's people must seriously consider what it means to ask Almighty God to bless a nation that continually turns away from Him. Like Judah in the days of Jeremiah, a people can enjoy Almighty God's blessings while increasingly rejecting His truth, disregarding His Word, and convincing themselves that judgment will never come. Yet God warned Judah not to trust in comforting words while their hearts and lives remained far from Him (Jer. 7:4–10). God's blessings should never cause us to presume upon His patience while continuing in rebellion.

America has been blessed with tremendous freedoms, resources, and opportunities, yet our nation has increasingly rejected biblical truth and removed the acknowledgment of God from much of our public life. Scripture reminds us that “righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people” (Prov. 14:34). The question of this song therefore becomes deeply searching: How can we continually sing, “God bless America,” while she increasingly rejects the God from whom all true blessing comes? Our response as believers should not be pride, bitterness, or despair, but humility, prayer, faithfulness, and a courageous proclamation of God's truth and the saving ETERNAL Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Beloved, ultimately our hope has never rested in America, or in any kingdom of this fallen world. Nations rise, and nations fall, but our ETERNAL God remains FOREVER established! “Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on ETERNAL life” (1 Tim. 6:12). Beloved, our pilgrim journey is not a call to ease, retreat, or surrender. We belong to our risen and ETERNAL Victor, Jesus Christ, and He has called us into battle and spiritual warfare! Because He has already ETERNALALLY conquered sin, death, and the grave, our hearts can be encouraged to press forward with courage and confidence unto the prize and glory! Never quit! Stay focused! Play the man! Cowboy up! Keep your eyes focused upon Jesus and fight the ETERNAL good fight of faith with all your might!

There will be seasons when the battle is difficult, our hearts become weary, and the finish line seems so far away. Yet our ETERNAL Faithful Shepherd continually calls us onward. Like Paul, we forget those things which are behind and “press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus” (Phil. 3:14). We do not fight in our own strength, but by abiding in Jesus’ we become “strong in the Lord, and in the power of His might” (Eph. 6:10). Every trial becomes another opportunity for our Heavenly Father to strengthen our faith, disciple our hearts, and teach us to depend more completely upon our precious ETENAL Victor, the Lord Jesus.

Beloved, our labor is NEVER in vain! Every prayer, every act of obedience, every stand for truth, every sacrifice, and every faithful step taken for Jesus has ETERNAL impact and significance. Therefore, be steadfast and unmovable! Keep your eyes upon the prize and continue pressing toward our ETERNAL glory with Christ. One glorious day the battle will be over, our pilgrim race will be finished, faith will become sight, and we will stand before our precious Lord Jesus in His glorious presence FOREVERMORE. Until then, beloved, never quit, never surrender, and fight the good fight of faith for God’s ETERNAL glory!

IS THERE ANYTHING TOO WONDERFUL?

Beloved, “Is anything too hard for the LORD?” (Gen. 18:14). The Hebrew word connected with this thought is “pala”; to be wonderful, extraordinary, or beyond human ability; and the related Hebrew word “pele” speaks of a wonder, something marvelous and extraordinary. Beloved, do you see how beautifully this points our hearts toward our incomprehensible ETERNAL CHARACTER of Jesus our precious Savior! His ETERNAL wisdom, power, RIGHTEOUSNESS, faithfulness, and resources are ETERNALLY beyond our ability to begin to comprehend. Indeed, His thoughts are ETERNALLY higher than the heavens! What is impossible with man is never impossible with the Almighty when it is according to His perfect will for us on our pilgrim journey.

As we look back over our pilgrim journey, we can see His wonderful hand again and again. There were valleys we thought we could never cross, burdens we thought we could never carry, and circumstances we could never understand. Yet our ETERNAL Faithful Shepherd was always there! Through every joy and trial, Almighty God was faithfully working, teaching, providing, correcting, sustaining, and discipling us for His ETERNAL glory. Each experience becomes another “Selah” in our lives to meditate on; a witness from God that strengthens our faith and teaches us to trust our precious Jesus even more as He disciples us and conforms us to His beautiful image.

Beloved, yesterday's faithfulness becomes encouragement for today's faith! The longer we walk with Jesus, the more we discover that there is nothing too wonderful or too difficult for our Almighty God. Therefore, when the next impossible circumstance appears along our pilgrim road, we can remember His past faithfulness, stand upon His ETERNAL precious promises, and trust in His perfect will. Our wonderful God has never exhausted His resources, never failed to keep His Word, and never ceased working in His children. Beloved, is there anything too wonderful for the LORD? Absolutely not!

SELAH, MY CHILD

SONG DEVOTIONAL

Beloved, Selah; to pause, to consider, and think on these things! Throughout our pilgrim journey, Almighty God calls us not merely to pass through life's joys, trials, blessings, disappointments, victories, and tears, but to consider and meditate on what the Lord is teaching us through them all prayerfully. Nothing that ever enters the life of God's child is outside of His ETERNAL sovereign knowledge and agape loving care. Whether my circumstance appears favorable or unfavorable, our Heavenly Father can use it to disciple us, teach us, and continually conform us into the image of His precious Son (Rom. 8:28–29).

Like a faithful disciple sitting at the feet of his Master, we must learn to slow our hearts and pay attention to God's working. Selah! What is Almighty God teaching me? What does His Word say? How is He exposing something in my heart, strengthening my faith, correcting my thinking, or teaching me to depend more completely upon Him? As we meditate upon His Word and abide in Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit faithfully teaches us and transforms our thinking. Instead of allowing the noise and confusion of this fallen world to control our minds, we choose to “think on these things”; things that are true, honest, just, pure, lovely, and of good report (Phil. 4:8).

Beloved, Selah! Stop and consider the wondrous faithfulness of Almighty God throughout your pilgrim journey. Remember His past faithfulness, recognize His present working, and confidently trust Him with everything yet ahead. Our ETERNAL Faithful Shepherd wastes absolutely nothing! Every mountain and valley can become a classroom of discipleship when our hearts are listening. So pause, meditate upon His precious Word, consider His wonderful works, and think on these things!

Beloved, in these last days of increasing apostasy, spiritual darkness, and godlessness, Almighty God calls His blood-bought saints to “play the man”, to stand strong and courageously represent our precious Lord Jesus Christ! Like Joshua standing at the entrance of the Promised Land, our courage does not come from ourselves, but from knowing that our ETERNAL God is always with us: “Be strong and of a good courage...for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest” (Josh. 1:6–9).

To “play the man” is to courageously gird up our loins, stand upon the unchanging Word of God, and faithfully shine as His lights in an increasingly dark world. We are Christ's ambassadors, His disciples, and His witnesses! Yet biblical courage is never fleshly toughness or human strength. Our strength flows from abiding in Jesus Christ and allowing His Word to abide richly within us. As we surrender ourselves to the Holy Spirit leading, He produces Almighty God’s beautiful RIGHTEOUS attributes of fruit in our lives: love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, and temperance (Gal. 5:22–23).

Beloved, this is how we play the man in these last days! We stand courageously for truth while displaying the character of Jesus Christ. We refuse to be ashamed of our Lord, compromise His Word, or be overcome by the fear of man. Instead, filled with the Holy Spirit and abiding in our Faithful Shepherd, we courageously represent Him wherever He places us. NOW THANKS BE UNTO GOD!

SONG DEVOTIONAL

Beloved, “Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ” (2 Cor. 2:14). What a glorious reason for thanksgiving! Our thanksgiving is not ultimately rooted in our circumstances, possessions, health, or earthly victories. It is rooted in the ETERNAL Person of our precious Lord Jesus Christ, our ETERNAL Victor!

Throughout our pilgrim journey, we will experience both joys and trials, victories and tears. Yet through them all, Almighty God is faithfully working in us and leading us in Christ's triumph! At the cross, Jesus conquered sin; through His resurrection, He conquered death; and one glorious day, every enemy will be placed beneath His feet. O beloved, what a Savior! Because we belong to Jesus, His ETERNAL victory is our ETERNAL victory! Even our trials become instruments in our Heavenly Father's hands to disciple us, strengthen our faith, and conform us into the image of His dear precious Son (Rom. 8:28–29).

Beloved, therefore, our hearts can continually sing, “Now thanks be unto God!” Whether walking through green pastures or deep valleys, we can rejoice because our Faithful Shepherd is always with us. Our thanksgiving looks beyond the temporary circumstances of this fallen world to our ETERNAL hope in Jesus Christ. One glorious day our pilgrim journey will be complete, faith will become sight, and we will FOREVER rejoice in the presence of our ETERNAL Victor and King!

Every song has a story, and our Heavenly Father's tender working and discipleship in it (Gal. 2:20, Eph. 2:10, Phil. 2:13).

Before it became a melody, it was first a work of the Holy Spirit in our hearts through His Word. As the Lord has faithfully taught, comforted, corrected, strengthened, and transformed us by His grace, many of those moments became songs of worship. These songs are ultimately a testimony of His faithfulness and His ongoing work in the lives of His people.

Our prayer, beloved, is that this devotional library will take you beyond simply listening to the music and into the Scriptures that inspired each song. Every devotion is centered on God's Word and reflects His work in us through passages such as Ephesians 2:10, Philippians 2:13, Matthew 11:28–30, Galatians 2:20, and John 15:1–9.

We invite you to read the devotion, meditate on the Scriptures, listen to the song, and allow the Lord to encourage and strengthen your walk with Him. It is our desire that these resources would help you know Christ more deeply, abide more fully in Him, and worship Him more wholeheartedly.

Beloved, true joy is not found in the base and beautiful things of this fallen world; but on the contrary. True joy is found in our abiding relationship with our ETERNAL RIGHTEOUS Creator and Savior. This is so crucial to find true stability and joy in this fallen world and the trials of this life. As you meditate on God’s precious Word, store it in your hearts and remember His faithfulness, for a time will come when you will need to remember these things as the cold winds blow and the waters overflow. Beloved, fix our hearts upon His ETERNAL promises and the Holy Spirit will fill us with His joy that rises far above our trials. Even in seasons of testing, our hearts can burst into song because we know the Lord is accomplishing His perfect work in us. Indeed, my beloved, count it all joy, because the Potter is at work, and when your season of testing is completed, you will truly see that all things worked together for good!

This song reminds us that God's children can count it all joy because our loving Heavenly Father never wastes a trial. Through every testing, He strengthens our faith, produces steadfastness, and conforms us more and more to the image of His dear precious Son. Beloved, the Christian pilgrim life is a life of full surrender to the will of Almighty God, but in doing so we will find true liberty and freedom in Jesus. The surrendered heart is the abiding liberated heart, where the internal peace of Almighty God reigns. As God faithfully disciples His children, He lovingly leads them through seasons of joy, burdens, testing, and refining. Though the fires of life may be difficult, they are never without purpose. Our Heavenly Father is continually working all things together for our good, shaping us into the likeness of His dear and precious Son, and teaching us above all, to trust His perfect will with all our heart.

This song is the prayer of a faithful, fully surrendered heart, crying out to Almighty God from out of the pit and overwhelming cares of this life. This cry is not for removal but for His perfect will to be done in it. In every trial and every blessing, the believer must choose by faith to say, "Lord, not my will, but Yours be done." As we yield to the Lord's ETERNAL faithfulness and potter-molding, glorified, nail-pierced hands, we will discover that Jesus’ perfect will is always perfected, completed, and profitable as we walk through this pilgrim life. Beloved, the Holy Spirit’s greatest work in the pilgrim life of a believer is not making us comfortable, but shaping us, breaking us, making us, and conforming us more like His dear, precious Son. From the moment that we trust in Jesus and His the finished work, are born again, and placed in Christ, the Holy Spirit begins His lifelong work of discipleship and transformation. He will use every joy, every trial, and every circumstance to shape our hearts into the image of Jesus. Though the refining process is not always joyful or easy, our loving Heavenly Father never wastes a moment of our time in making a man. Like a potter skillfully shaping the clay, the Holy Spirit is faithfully completing the work He has begun in us and will finish it upon the end of our pilgrim journey. The abiding heart, by faith, cries out to His ETERNAL Potter and Redeemer, on this pilgrim life’s journey, to make a man, Lord Jesus, make a man for Your ETERNAL honor and glory.

Dear friend, this song reminds us that God's divine purposes are ETERNALLY greater than our present trials. It is in the divine processes of this pilgrim life that there is a divine product God wants for us so He can continually build on and display to this fallen world. Through His Spirit, God strengthens us to endure, produces steadfast faith, and assures us that nothing can separate us from His ETERNAL agape love. One day, beloved, His work in us will be complete, and when we see Jesus face to face, it will be worth it all. Beloved, Jesus is not only our ETERNAL Faithful Shepherd, but Jesus has also become our perfect propitiatory Lamb who willingly laid down His life for our sins. Think on that, dear friend. The Shepherd of man became our Lamb so that His little sheep could be forgiven, redeemed, and brought safely into His ETERNAL fold. Beloved, Jesus perfectly knows each of His sheep by name. Beloved, in today’s ever-changing world filled with endless uncertainties, a mother's greatest comfort is found in the unchanging promises and ETERNAL stability of Almighty God. As she gently rocks her child to sleep, her lullaby becomes more than a song for her baby; it becomes a song of faith that strengthens her own fearful heart in the ETERNAL promises and hope of Almighty God. Though she sees the compounding global and national uncertainties of this last days' world and feels concern for her family's future, she chooses by faith to overcome and to find rest in the Lord and His ETERNAL faithfulness instead.

This song reminds us all that our hope is not found in this subjective, fallen, demonic, unstable, passing world, but objectively in our ETERNAL Savior and His unchanging Word. Beloved, for us who belong to Jesus, death is not the ETERNAL end; it is but the doorway into His glorious presence FOREVERMORE. Though life on earth passes quickly, God's ETERNAL faithfulness never fails. Every joy, every trial, and every step of our pilgrim journey has been perfectly guided by our loving Heavenly Father. Now, at that time of our death, the child of God stands perfect and complete in the presence of Jesus, where sorrow, pain, and death have no more power.

This song reminds those who remain not to grieve without hope, for our separation is only for a little while. Because Jesus died and rose again, all who place their trust in Him have the sure promise of resurrection and ETERNAL life. One day, the Lord Himself will return in the clouds for His bride, and we will be together with our redeemed loved ones and our precious Jesus FOREVER! Until that day comes, we must by faith joyfully rest in our Father's unfailing agape love and rejoice in the hope knowing that one day we will see our precious Jesus face to face.

PRAYER

Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for Your faithful love through every season of life. Thank You that through Jesus, death has lost its victory and ETERNAL life is ours. Help us, dear Lord, to live with our eyes fixed on Jesus and the sure hope of His blessed return for us in the clouds. We ask this all in Your precious Name, Lord Jesus; even so come Lord, Amen.

IN THE PRESENCE OF THEIR KING!

SONG DEVOTIONAL

Beloved, the day is coming when our precious Lord Jesus Christ will reign as King over all the earth for a thousand years in truth and RIGHTEOUSNESS. Every promise our Heavenly Father has ever spoken concerning His Son will be fulfilled exactly as He has declared during this time. Israel will indeed know her Messiah, at this time after centuries of rebellion, and the redeemed remnant of the gentile nations will come up to Jerusalem to worship the King of the Jews!

During Jesus' glorious Kingdom reign, His peace will replace war, His RIGHTEOUSNESS will fill the earth, and the people of every nation will seek the wisdom and ways of the Lord. Songs of praise will rise continually to our great King, for the Lamb who was slain is absolutely worthy to receive all honor, glory, and praise now and FOREVER, amen.

What a joyful day that will be! Every sorrow will give way to rejoicing as God's Kingdom is established just as the Scriptures have promised. The King of kings will dwell among His people, and the earth will indeed behold His wonders and His glory.

Can you see it by faith, beloved? Our ETERNAL hope is ETERNALLY certain because our Heavenly Father will always keep His Word. One day we will stand in the presence of our King, in our new glorified bodies as His glorified church! Singing with overflowing joy to our precious Lamb and reigning with Him for a thousand years! O the wonders of the precious truths and promises of our Jesus; they are glorious, marvellous to the ear that will hear! Even so come Lord Jesus!

PRAYER

Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank You for the ETERNAL hope of Your Son's coming Kingdom. Thank You that every promise You have ever spoken will be completely fulfilled, and that one day Jesus Christ will reign in perfect RIGHTEOUSNESS over all the earth for a thousand years.

Help me, dear Lord, to live each day with my eyes fixed upon that glorious future. Fill my heart with joy as I look forward to standing in the presence of my King and joining the songs of praise that will rise to the Lamb FOREVER.

I ask these things in Your precious name of Jesus; even so come, Amen.

TRUST IN THE LORD

SONG DEVOTIONAL

Beloved, our Heavenly Father lovingly calls His children to trust in Him with all their hearts. Even when we cannot understand His ways, we can rest in His ETERNAL perfect wisdom, faithfulness, and agape love. His plans are always ETERNALLY higher than ours, His ways are always truth, and He is always working all things together for good for our ETERNAL good for His ETERNAL glory.

Proverbs 3:5–6 reminds us not to lean on our own understanding but to acknowledge our Heavenly Father in every area of our pilgrim life. As we faithfully abide in Jesus Christ, our Good Shepherd, He will strengthen us, faithfully guide our steps, and produce His fruit and RIGHTEOUS attributes in our lives for all the world to see (John 15:1–9).

Beloved, our Heavenly Father is continually at work within us, shaping our hearts to become more like His dear and precious Son (Philippians 2:13). Even the difficult seasons are not wasted. He faithfully works all things together for good for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28).

Beloved, as we learn to trust our Faithful Shepherd day by day, our fears give way to peace, our doubts to confidence, and our hearts find a stability and rest in His unfailing ETERNAL promises. On our pilgrim journey home, our Faithful Shepherd is always worthy of our trust and obedience. Fear not, dear child, and trust in the Lord!

PRAYER

Dear Heavenly Father,

Thank You for being completely and ETERNALLY trustworthy in every season of my pilgrim life. Please help me to lean upon Your perfect wisdom instead of my own clouded understanding and to acknowledge You in all of my ways.

Teach me, dear Lord, to faithfully abide in my precious Savior each day, trusting that You are working in my heart and guiding every step according to Your perfect will. Strengthen my faith when I cannot see the path ahead, and remind me that You are always working for Your glory and my ETERNAL good.

May my life reflect a quiet confidence in Your faithfulness, and may others see Your peace that comes from trusting You completely in all things.

I ask these things in YOUR precious name of Jesus, even so come, Amen.
