New Delhi, Mar.18 (ANI): The Mukesh Ambani-led Reliance Industries on Thursday rejected a report appearing in Pakistan's Daily Times newspaper that suggested that former PML-Q leader and one-time Musharraf loyalist Makhdoom Faisal Saleh Hayat, who is slated to become that country's next finance minister, was its money manager

In a statement, a Reliance Industries spokesman said: "Our name has been incorrectly mentioned in the story and we would request you to kindly drop any reference to us in the same."

Home Secretary to open India-Bangladesh security conference in Delhi

New Delhi, Mar.18 (ANI): As India strives for safe neighbourhood with intensified engagements with its neighbours, an India-Bangladesh Security Dialogue is being organised later this week in Delhi by two premier think tanks of these countries.

The Bangladesh Enterprise Institute (BEI), Dhaka, led by former Foreign Secretary Mr. Farooq Sobhan, has joined Observer Research Foundation, New Delhi, in organizing this two-day Dialogue, which will begin on March 19 with the inaugural address by the Union Home Secretary, Mr. G.K. Pillai.

Islamabad, Mar.18 (ANI): Several federal ministers, the army chief, General Asfaq Pervez Kayani, the director-general of the ISI, Lt. General Ahmed Shuja Pasha and many federal secretaries will leave for Washington on Saturday to attend the fourth round of the US-Pakistan Strategic Dialogue on March 24.

According to a report in the Dawn, Pakistan's foreign policy gurus are terming the dialogue as a 'renewed process' and as one of the most intense diplomatic engagements that the two countries will have.

25 killed in Nepal bus accident

Kathmandu, Mar.18 (ANI): At least 25 people were killed when a bus in which they were travelling plunged into a river in western Nepal on Thursday.

Reports quoting witnesses said the accident occurred around 7 a.m. local time in a village called Kittu. The bus was heading towards Surkhet district from Dailekh, police said.

Author Parvez Dewan presents his book on Tibet to the Dalai Lama
