Offset Shows Off Battle Scars To Friend On FaceTime Following Alleged Fight With Fellow Rapper Lil Tjay

#Offset is recovering well.

Muted footage recently surfaced online, seemingly of a FaceTime call between the Atlanta rapper and a friend, captioned, “My dawg healing up.” In the short clip, Offset wears a pulled-down face mask and a hospital gown as he appears to show the scars he sustained during his alleged scuffle with #LilTjay.

As previously reported, Offset was shot outside the Seminole Hard Rock hotel and casino on Monday (Apr. 6). It’s highly speculated that the incident is connected to a physical altercation between him, Lil Tjay, and their entourages. Lil Tjay briefly spent time in jail on a disorderly conduct charge, but has not been charged in connection with the shooting.

Looks like not everyone is ready to forgive Geno Auriemma.

#JudgeMathis recently shared a video calling out the UConn women’s basketball head coach over his interaction with South Carolina’s #DawnStaley after her team’s 62–48 Final Four win to advance to the title game. Mathis didn’t hold back, saying Geno “verbally assaulted” Dawn and adding, “We shouldn’t stand for that.”As many recall, just before the final buzzer, Geno confronted Dawn, accusing her of not shaking his hand before tip-off.

He also claimed to reporters that one of his players had her jersey ripped by the #Gamecocks, allegations that were proven false. “This is symbolic of what happens much in America, which is abusing Black women…we have to protect our sisters,” Mathis continued, also suggesting Geno’s behavior may have been an attempt to “distract” the team ahead of the championship. While Geno initially stood by his actions, he has since issued two apologies. Dawn also released a statement urging the focus to return to the game, saying she’s “asking everyone to turn the page.”

However, defending her choice to pop out for #Kanye, who has faced criticism of his own for past antisemitism and anti-Black comments, Aubrey said that she “can hold two truths at once.”

She continued, explaining that although she has been vocal about abuse because she’s lived it, that doesn’t mean attending someone’s show equates to endorsing everything they’ve said or done. “If that were the rule, most of this industry-and honestly most of the world-would be off limits,” she added. Aubrey continued, “You can disagree with where I draw my line, but calling it hypocrisy ignores the nuance. It’s not black and white.” Other celebs, including Chloe Bailey, have also been called out for attending Kanye’s concert.

#NickLachey is opening up about the pressure he faced early in his career with 98 Degrees, revealing that signing to Motown Records sparked a deep identity struggle.

In an upcoming documentary, he said executives tried to mold the group into something they weren’t: “The president of Motown, he wanted us to be the white Jodeci. So he was trying to give us that in a crash course.” That push led to uncomfortable moments, including being encouraged to attend Black churches in Harlem and work closely with #Jodeci, experiences that left the group feeling out of place.

“I remember going on a train to Rochester, New York, to work with DeVanté from Jodeci and we show up and DeVanté is being fitted for a bulletproof vest, in the studio. And I’m looking around like, ‘Do we need a bulletproof vest? What did we just walk into?’” Lachey recalled. Despite appreciating the opportunity, he admitted the pressure blurred their sense of identity, adding, “It does make you question, ‘Well, why did you sign us if you didn’t want us to be who we are?’” and that it “really starts to mess with you mentally.”

The strain extended beyond Lachey. Fellow member #JeffTimmons shared that he battled severe depression and self-doubt during that time before eventually seeking help and recovering. 98 Degrees, also made up of Justin Jeffre and Drew Lachey, will revisit their journey in Boy Band Confidential: A Hollywood Demons Event, premiering April 20 at 9 p.m. ET/PT on ID.

Ebro Darden is speaking out following news that Offset was sh*t in Florida—and he’s bringing up an old bet in the process.

During a recent broadcast, Ebro Darden revealed the rapper allegedly still owes him money stemming from a Super Bowl wager.

“He owes me $5,000. He does,” Ebro said. He then clarified he isn’t losing sleep over it, adding, “Offset’s fine. I tried to call him last night. We bet on the Super Bowl in New Orleans. I bet $5,000. I was prepared to pay him $5,000… Like, why am I gonna chase you around about five grand? It’s not a big deal to me.”

Ebro also dismissed the idea that money may have played a role in the situation, explaining, “I don’t think Tjay’s got more money than I’ve got… It wasn’t a loan. We made a bet.”

Offset’s representative has since confirmed he is “fine” and “is currently at the hospital receiving medical care.”

Authorities arrested Lil Tjay, charging him with misdemeanor disorderly conduct-affray. His attorney, Dawn Florio, stated, “Lil Tjay has not been sh*t, nor has Lil Tjay been charged with any shooting. Any reporting to the contrary is false.”

However, an affidavit accused Tjay of instigating the fight that led to the sh**ting.

Kimora Lee Simmons is reflecting on a major business move from her past, revealing the financial reality behind the sale of her once-dominant fashion empire, Baby Phat.

During a recent appearance on the “Aspire With Emma Grede” podcast, Kimora Lee Simmons shared new details about the deal that reshaped her career. The brand, originally launched as a womenswear extension of Russell Simmons’ Phat Farm, quickly grew into a cultural staple in the early 2000s, generating over $1 billion in revenue at its peak.

In 2004, The Kellwood Company acquired Baby Phat and its parent company in a deal reportedly valued at $140 million. However, Simmons says her personal earnings were far less than many might assume.

“You live and you learn, I probably made — I think we ended up selling … it for 100-and-something million dollars. I probably got $20 million of that, or less. And the entire sale was based on Baby Phat,” she said.

Simmons also revealed she “missed all of the preliminary conversations,” adding, “I wasn’t privy to the fact that these [conversations] took place.”

After the brand shut down in 2010, Simmons reacquired Baby Phat in 2019, reintroducing it to a new generation while tapping into nostalgia from its original fanbase.
