Keira Knightley’s fiance has jetted into Nice, France amid rumours they will tie the knot this weekend. The ‘Anna Karenina’ actress was spotted greeting rocker James Righton with a passionate kiss after driving to Nice Côte d’Azur International Airport with her playwright mother Sharman Macdonald to pick him up from his flight on Tuesday night (30.04.13).

The couple are reportedly preparing to exchange vows in an intimate ceremony close to the South of France city in front of 100 close friends and family members. A previously said: ”It’s all been a massively covert operation – her friends and family were only told recently about the ceremony. ”They’ve all been told not to travel in big groups, to arrive separately and to all spread out where they’re staying so as not to draw attention to the wedding party.”he couple got engaged in May 2012 after meeting through mutual pal Alexa Chung, and Keira recently moved into a new home in East London with the 29-year-old Klaxons keyboardist. The 28-year-old actress – who previously dated her ‘Pride & Prejudice’ co-star Rupert Friend for five years – recently said they were in no rush to get married, hinting they would have a low-key ceremony when the time came. She joked: ”I could have six fake weddings. God, that would be expensive. We’re not big-wedding types. I don’t need to have all that.

”I’m just trying to enjoy the engagement bit. My parents are together after 40 years. The fights are there, but they love each other. ”It’s not like the first three months, the first two years, whatever it is, but I think it gets more interesting, or I hope so.” Keira – who is the face of Chanel’s Coco Mademoiselle fragrance – is rumoured to be wearing a custom-made Chanel dress made by creative director Karl Lagerfeld.

Keira Knightley has discussed playing Coco Chanel in a short film directed by Karl Lagerfeld. The British actress stars as Gabrielle 'Coco' Chanel in a new short film by Karl Lagerfeld called Once Upon a Time...

Keira, 28, initially thought it might be a silent movie so discovering her lines moments before the cameras rolled was a first. “Karl Lagerfeld stage manages the actor in a truly direct way,” she told WWD on the set of the film in the French seaside town of Deauville, where the first Chanel boutique opened in 1913.

To be screened in Singapore before a showing of Chanel’s cruise collection, the film also stars a who's who of Chanel regulars including Stella Tennant, Jake Davies, Baptiste Giabiconi, Brad Kroenig and Tallulah Harlech as Eve Lavallière, reputedly the first fashionable woman in France to cut her hair short and parade around hatless.

“Keira can deliver her lines easier than the others,” Karl said, referencing the fact that many of the cast members are models rather than professional actors. As with all Lagerfeld films, the film has a witty storyline and a slightly embellished version of social and fashion history; “invented reality,” as Karl calls it. The designer also explores the reality of social customs a century ago.

“The way clients behaved in boutiques back then, they were pretty rude,” he said. Keira, who was handpicked by Karl as the face of Chanel's Coco Mademoiselle perfume campaign, has much admiration for Karl.

"Karl's amazing," she said recently. "He's an avid reader, and he speaks about five different languages, so he'll be rattling off in English to you and in French to someone else, and in German to someone else and then the phone rings and he's speaking in Italian."

That reported NY Daily News. actress has been the face of Coco Mademoiselle perfume brand perfume. In honor of the centenary of the fashion house Lagerfeld is directing a short film about the early years of Coco in Deauville. This week start shooting in the coastal town. There also was the first clothing store of Chanel in 1913 open. In early May, the film will premiere in Singapore during the Chanel Cruise fashion show.

Keira Knightley may not have any money worries now, after all she’s one of Hollywood’s hottest properties, but it wasn’t always the case. As she graces the cover of Marie Claire this month, she reveals exactly the sort of financial stresses her parents had to cope with when she was young.

Speaking about being the daughter of two actors – actress-turned-playwright Sharman Macdonald and actor Will Knightley, Keira tells us: ‘We managed to go on holidays, but there were periods when they were out of work and wouldn’t know if they could keep the house.’While she declined to elaborate on what must have been a turbulent time for the family, Keira was happy to speak about what it taught her about acting. ‘It’s a very insecure profession,’ she says. ‘I’ve always seen it for what it is. So when I started getting work, it was like this tiny space opened up and I needed to jump in and go with it.’And that she most certainly did, breaking onto the scene in Bend It Like Beckham to become a period-drama must-have. But she’s still as down-to-earth as an A-lister can be, she adds: ‘It could all go away tomorrow.’But with her talents and looks it’s highly unlikely!

The A-lister made the claim while eyeing up a collection of precious gems at New York’s museum of Art and Design, examining one diamond-encrusted piece Keira Knightley asked us: ‘Could you imagine dancing in that? If you lost it? I won’t be defined by objects.’Valuable must mean an entirely different thing to Keira then, she’s rumoured to have recently moved into a several-million-pound property in East London with her finance, James Righton although she says while she ‘loves it’, it’s not ‘thee house.’

‘I’m still a traveler,’ Keira reveals, exposing her love of a more laid-back lifestyle. She also hints at a more spiritual side to herself, adding: ‘Concentrating too much on the big picture means you forget what’s happening in the present. Hollywood actress Keira Knightley said she was in tears when she was first followed by paparazzi because she thought it was the end of her private life. The 28-year-old actress still remembers her initial encounter with photographers after starring in 2004 film King Arthur. She then realised that to be in the film industry, she will have to sacrifice the "mystery" of her private life.

"The first time I was stalked by cameras, I was in tears. It started after the premiere of "King Arthur." Ten people were outside my house," femalefirst.co.uk quoted Knightley as saying. "The machine that allows you to make movies, the trade-off, requires you to sell it. Selling it means making yourself a public figure. You can't cultivate the mystery. My problem is I like mystery," she added. While she enjoys being an actress, Knightley who is engaged to musician James Righton, 29, is aware of the insecurities around her career. So, she treasures each moment of success in all aspects of her life. "It's a very insecure profession. It was recently announced that Keira will star as Coco Chanel in Karl Lagerfeld‘s short film to mark the 100th anniversary of the first Chanel fashion boutique, according to WWD. Karl is set to direct, with Clotilde Hemse taking on the role of Gabrielle Chanel’s aunt Adrienne. The film will debut in early May when Karl travels to Singapore to present Chanel’s next cruise collection.
