Khloe Kardashian's Father-In-Law Hospitalized

Reality TV star Khloe Kardashian's father-in-law is "gravely ill" in the hospital, according to reports. Kardashian's husband, basketball star Lamar Odom, was forced to take a leave of absence from the Dallas Mavericks game against his old team the Los Angeles Lakers on Wednesday to tend to a "family matter" - and RadarOnline.com editors report Odom's father Joe was the cause for the sportsman's no-show.

A source says, "Lamar's dad is gravely ill, and he wanted time off to be with him. "Khloe and Lamar were really upset about the news about Joe. They're putting their schedules on hold right now to be there for him. It's a really serious medical condition."

Former heroin addict Joe Odom appeared in numerous episodes of the couple's E! network show Khloe & Lamar last year as cameras followed his troubled relationship with his son. Representatives for both Lamar Odom and Kardashian have yet to comment on the latest reports.

The socialite, an avid Twitter.com blogger, was noticeably quiet on Wednesday, simply writing, "Weird day... Well if its not one thing, it's another... I guess I can say life is never boring."Wednesday was a poignant day for Kardashian and her family - it would have been her late father Robert Kardashian's 68th birthday.

Kourtney Kardashian announced on Wednesday that she and longtime boyfriend’s second child will be a baby girl. Since the announcement, Kourtney’s supportive family has come forward to express their excitement over the newest girl to enter the Keeping Up with the Kardashians brood.

Khloe Kardashian Odom took to her Twitter account to write, “Wooohooo @KourtneyKardash and @ScottDisick are having a baby girl!!!!" E! Online reports, adding, "OMG I can't wait to buy her a glitter tutu LOL."

The girls’ half-sister, Kendall Jenner, also took to her Twitter to express her excitement over Mason’s little sister. “My sisters having a baby girl!!!!!!" she wrote. The matriarch of the family, Kris Jenner, feels the exact same way when it comes to her excitement.

She also took to Twitter to write about her family’s new “blessing,” E! Online reports. "@KourtneyKardash @ScottDisick are having a GIRL!!! Can't wait to go buy something PINK! What a blessing!"Kourtney and Scott’s second child is due later in the spring.

Khloe told MTV News in December that her older sister was having a little more difficulty in her second pregnancy. "She's good. She's a little more nauseous this time around, which I feel bad about, but she's great and it's so exciting,” she said at the time.

Kim & Khloe Kardashian Might Be Getting Sued For Endorsing QuickTrim

Kim Kardashian and Khloe Kardashian may see a class-action lawsuit on the horizon, over their endorsement of diet product QuickTrim, manufactured by New Jersey-based Windmill Health Products. Law firm Bursor & Fisher is readying a suit against Windmill and “the marketing claims made by the Kardashians.” Apparently the active ingredient in QuickTrim is a huge dose of caffeine, which the FDA has determined isn’t effective for weight loss.

The sisters are said to have made something in the neighborhood of $45 million in revenue since the deal with Windmill in 2009. According to the Post, “In January 2010, Kim said she used QuickTrim to shed 15 pounds in weeks. Last year she tweeted that she was using it to get in shape for her wedding, and Khloe also claimed she lost 15 pounds.”

Windmill and the Kardashians are keeping quiet for the time being. This is, however, the third (according to our count!) Khloe Kardashian Speaks on Active Sex Life, Move to Dallas, Growth of Scott Disick

On last night's season premiere of Khloe & Lamar, Khloe Kardashian went out of her way to spice up the couple's sex life, including the (failed) installation of a swing in her bedroom. But despite Lamar Odom's rejection of his wife's advances, Khloe made it clear to The Associated Press in an interview prior to the episode: "We're enjoying each other, we have a very active love life."

Khloe also talked about Lamar's sudden trade to the Dallas Mavericks and how that will be handled on episodes to come. "Moving in general is stressful, so moving to a state that I've never been is stressful," she said. "Then when your husband's having a very emotional transition, that's like adding one more layer to this. Then I'm having the camera crew film and for them, they love it. They're like, `This is gold!' I'm like, `Can't you just leave us alone for one week?' But, you know, that's what you know we signed up for."

Finally, to the surprise of many, the only Kardashian sister with any personality also talked at length about quasi brother-in-law, Scott Disick. She had mostly positive things to say about him.

"I've definitely noticed a change and he's trying. He's a great dad,"Khloe said. "I've definitely noticed a growth in him. And there was so much other drama going on [with Kim's 72-day marriage to Kris Humphries], I think it made him look better, too."

Reality television star Khloe Kardashian has revealed how stressful she found everything when she had to move from Los Angeles to Dallas, following the trade of her husband Lamar Odom from Los Angeles Lakers to the Dallas Mavericks. Khloe admitted that viewers of her show Khloe & Lamar will get to see just how quickly it all happened.

Kardashian explained, "You get to see kind of an inside view of how fast it happens. I stayed behind so I could pack and figure out what to do. Khloe Kardashian is super excited about Sunday's season premiere of Khloe and Lamar. The reality TV star has been tweeting all day long to fans, who are eagerly awaiting the show's return.

However, Khloe won't be in LA with her family for the premiere. Kardashian tweeted that she was back in Dallas, where she'll likely be watching the show from her home.

This season of Khloe and Lamar is set to be a good one. Viewers will watch Kardashian and her husband struggle with their big move to Dallas after Lamar Odom's trade to the Mavericks.

The couple will also go through their very public battle with infertility. Khloe Kardashian has been trying to get pregnant since the pair married in 2009, but has been unsuccessful. Hopefully, the youngest Kardashian sister will become a mother in the very near future.

Fans may also get a glimpse into Kim Kardashian's life since her split from husband, Kris Humphries. As for Rob Kardashian, he may find a new lady-love during the second season of Khloe and Lamar.

Khloe Kardashian on `active’ sex life, Dallas move

Kim may be the Kardashian family member considered to have the most drama in her life, but sister Khloe has had her fair share lately.

Her husband, Lamar Odom, was abruptly traded last December by the Los Angeles Lakers to the Dallas Mavericks.

The transition is one of the events documented in the second season of the E! Entertainment Television series “Khloe and Lamar,’’ which premieres Sunday.

The 27-year-old Kardashian Odom talked about their move to Dallas and the couple’s “active’’ sex life in a recent interview.

AP: The new season of “Khloe and Lamar’’ will show Lamar being traded to the Mavericks. People might not realize there’s no notice with something like that.

Kardashian Odom: You get to see kind of an inside view of how fast it happens. I stayed behind so I could pack and figure out what to do. … Moving in general is stressful, so moving to a state that I’ve never been is stressful. AP: You’re often spotted at your husband’s games and often with a camera.

Kardashian Odom: I’m like a soccer mom.

AP: Yes! Are you proud of him?

Kardashian Odom: I’m proud of him. I’ve had a very supportive family. Lamar has no siblings, and so I want him to know that someone is always at his games supporting him. I wasn’t able to be at one home game and so my brother went for me. I always want Lamar to know someone is at his games supporting him.

AP: Are you trying to get pregnant?

Kardashian Odom: I was writing down my ovulation days, but it took the fun out of trying to get pregnant in my opinion and for Lamar, too. We were both like, `OK, this is like, I don’t want to be told, when (to have sex)’ … like it’s too much and it’s too strategic. It’s supposed to be romantic, so I now stopped all of that. … We’re enjoying each other, we have a very active love life.

AP: Does the attention about it bother you?

Kardashian Odom: I think we got married so fast, I think people expected us to have a baby. Now people want to spin it to make it seem like it’s something bigger, like I’m doing all of these fertility treatments or I can’t carry a baby or whatever the case may be. It doesn’t offend me and it doesn’t bother me. … When it’s meant to be, it will be.

Khloe Kardashian Won't Continue her Family's 'K' Name Tradition with her Baby

Khloe Kardashian is planning to take a page from her sister Kourtney Kardashian by not giving her baby a "K" name.

Of course, Kourtney didn't completely kill the family tradition when she named her son Mason—having to choose a "K" name apparently doesn't apply when it comes to Kardashian boys since Kris Jenner and Robert Kardashian named their only son Robert. However, Khloe doesn't want to carry on the "K" name tradition even if she has a girl.

Here's what she tweeted during a recent Twitter interview with Celebuzz when she was asked if she's thought about baby names yet: "All I know is that I want to do L names! LOL."

So Khloe Kardashian either wants to pay tribute to hubby Lamar Odom, or she's just decided that the letter "K" has been overplayed in her family and wants to move on to the next letter in the alphabet. And who can blame her for not wanting to come up with another "K" name—with Kris, Kim, Khloe, Kourtney, Kendall, and Kylie, there aren't that many left to choose from.

So what would be some fun "L" names for Khloe's baby? She really loves her leopard print blanket, so if she and Lamar Odom had a son, Leo would be cute. Or if Kim Kardashian does agree to be her surrogate someday, she could name her son after her sister by reversing her middle name. Kim's full name is Kimberly Noel Kardashian, so that would mean that Khloe and Lamar's son would be named Leon.

And if Khloe Kardashian had a girl, maybe she could name the baby after herself. Her middle name is Alexandra, so she could shorten it down to Lexi. Khloe is also pretty good pals with LaLa Vasquez, so her unusual name is another option, and it's easy to imagine Khloe naming her daughter Lucy—Khlo is a big screwball just like Lucille Ball, and hopefully her daughter would inherit her sense of humor.

Khloe Kardashian Is 'Blessed' As She Always Gets Love From Hubby Lamar

The Khloe & Lamar star revealed that she spent the afternoon with the Dallas Mavericks player, as he was at basketball practise in the morning.

During an interview with Ryan Seacrest on his radio show, the 27-year-old said: "I'm really blessed and I know it sounds corny, but [my husband] Lamar is really good at surprising me with flowers here and there, it's not just Valentine's Day, which I like more."

Of Valentine's Day, she also added: "I don't think you need a day to give someone flowers. I think it's kind of like corny and they double charge you for the flowers, for the chocolates. Just show me love consistently, that's what I want and that's what I get, so I'm a pretty happy girl."But what did Lamar do for Khloe on February 14? Well, he got her flowers - which she said was a "waste" of money.

"On Valentine's Day Lamar had practice and after that we spent the afternoon together," she said. "I felt so guilty because he got me all these flowers which was so sweet but I was leaving and I feel like it's such a waste of money."Khloe didn't mention what she got Lamar, but if she got him a sex swing just months ago... imagine what she bought to go with it!

Khloe Kardashian Reveals Her Valentine’s Day Plans

One might expect a celebrity like Khloe Kardashian Odom to make a really big deal out of a special occasion like Valentine’s Day. Fancy restaurants. Expensive gifts. Wild night out on the town.

Not so. Adoring callers phoned in to Khloe’s Dallas radio show on Tuesday to ask what nighttime plans she had with basketball player husband Lamar. Turns out, their evening is going to be rather uneventful. “We’re actually going to, all day, we’re going to be hanging out,” she said, “taking it easy, relaxing. He obviously has practice for the Mavs. The rest of the day, we’re just going to be relaxing.”

Meanwhile, other guys across the Metroplex will be dishing out big bucks to shower their sweethearts with gifts, fretting over reservations at busy restaurants and working hard to create an unforgettable night. Why can Lamar get away with such peaceful plans at home? “Everyday, Lamar treats me like it’s Valentine’s Day,” Khloe said.

Of course, it probably also helps that Khloe doesn’t really enjoy the whole Valentine’s Day ritual. “It’s just a weird holiday. I don’t really get it,” she explained, noting that people put too much emphasis on the day. It makes singles feel lonely and those in relationships feel pressured. “It’s just so stupid.”

“We don’t do gifts on Valentine’s Day,” Khloe added. “Treat her good all the time.” But for the record, Khloe said that her favorite flowers are hydrangeas, in case any fans wanted to send their own presents.

What does Khloe like to give people on holidays? Again, you might think that she orders a high-priced item from a fancy boutique, but nothing could be further from the truth. “I love to make gifts,” she said. “Like for Easter or for Valentine’s Day, I make my own presents.”

Khloe picks themes – like hearts – and creates a collection of gifts related to that concept, though she refused to say what presents she made for her sisters. “They can be, like, $20 and you make them yourself,” Khloe said. “It’s fun!”
