Sayonora, Suckas!

My crude way of saying "Hi" again, after not posting for like ever! Also my crude way of saying "Farewell", as I won't be posting here any more. I've grown bored with spitting into the wind, and shouting at clouds, and pissing up a rope, and whatnot. Politics has become disenchanting in general, but if anything seems worthy of commentary, I will let my ambassador carry the message. At least it will be more humorous, and less full of piss and vinegar, perhaps. Besides, there are better mediums for sharing animal videos to wider audiences, which is all I've actually posted here since forever.

So to the two of you that actually read this, "so long, and thanks for all the fish!"

According to the results of this recent Intelligence Squared debate, ... well, I won't give away the answer to who won based on post-debate polling. I will say that those proponents arguing the case for religion relied too much on debaters' parlor tricks, like floating straw-man arguments, obfuscation, and loud, blustery statements (Rabbi David Wolpe). They did themselves no favors, especially Dinesh D'Souza. Meanwhile, A.C. Grayling and Matthew Chapman did a nice job making the case against religion in a quiet, humble, and reasoned manner. Listen and decide for yourselves.
