I’ve had a fantastic home on Ursa Major for a number of months. the community has been calm and inviting, and I finally landscaped and decorated my little corner plot into a fantastic escape perfect for me. It was welcoming, cluttered with some of my favorite items, and tiny! Yes, that is a plus for me. Who needs mansions in a virtual world when you can camp and live in a cozy trailer? Since these photos are simply for my own record and fond memories, I will not be crediting the items. I suppose I’m just being lazy as well. I hope you enjoy them anyhow!

Strawberry Singh touched on a common topic yesterday: What are your avatar proportions? Why did you pick them, and what is average? Heaps of folks are dropping trou to submit their shapes for appraisal, and I’m all about it! Plus, I’d been wearing the same outfit for two weeks and needed to let my skin air out

We all love our shapes dearly and hold the details close to the chest. I think exercises like this are fun because we all view ourselves as “normal” and proportional, while others might see us as odd looking or even deformed! But who cares, right? Use those trash-bin-cover-sized hands to shovel food into your virtual kitty’s mouth. Make your skull so big that your hair will look like a growing Chia Pet. Enjoy your SLife and shape!

You’ll notice I didn’t waste the space to put my foot size since I’ve never known anyone not to have size zero feet. Sometimes Second Life has forced us to use certain numbers on our sliders in order to fit commonplace items like shoes, hair, and skins. Even with alpha layers becoming more popular to hide feet, the common size is still zero to accommodate shoes that are made to be used with the natural mesh.

I’d call this a quickie because this outfit just happened to be what I wore for days on end, and post-production on the photo was nearly nothing at all. In reality, it took me a week to finally get this post online from when I first took the photos!

I’ve worn this outfit for days and just can’t stop looking at myself like a narcissistic freak.
