There are many Free Photoshop Tutorials Sites today but good ones with detailed instructions are rare species. For making our new template we were going through some photoshop tutorials when we came across PS-Tuts.com - Free Photoshop Tutorials Database. The tutorials are sorted by the following categories: Animations, Basics, Buttons/Orbs, Drawing/Coloring, Designing, Effects, Photo Effects, Photo Touch Ups, Text Effects, Textures/Patterns, Web Layouts, Video/Flash Tuts.

The site is run by three people - Tor, SN and Mr.Domo. You can view the top 5 tutorials as well as submit your own tutorial to the site and become famous!The site has 2,120 tutorials submitted by 487 authors! (whoaa!!)

TemplateSpin.Com, founded in 2006 is a web design and marketing website providing free templates for Wordpress, phpBB, Joomla and b2evolution. You can choose from a variety of templates for your web hosting software. They currently have templates sorted out by Business Templates, Country Templates, Culture Templates, Personal Templates, Financial Templates, Youth Templates, Government Templates, Travel Templates. The free phpBB templates are worth a look even if you are not using phpBB.

If you want custom designs with specific themes that are only for your use, there is a nominal fee, but far better than trying to find someone to do it and it just never ends up the way you want it. Use the search tool and locate the template that you wish to download. You can download as many themes you want for absolutely no cost and save on the hundreds of dollars that is now being asked by designers and coders. The templates are available in PSD (photoshop format). You cannot remove the links at the bottom of the themes which can be a turn off for some of the website owners.

They even have a newsletter to which you can subscribe to be updated with their latest themes and templates. So go ahead and get a beautiful theme installed on your site!

Welcome to the Theme Critic of Top Web Directory.

Themes and Templates are an important part of any website. However good the content maybe a viewer wont be attracted to the website if the design doesn’t appeal to him.

Keeping this in mind we start the Theme Critic section presenting quality themes from many coders and designers who put their heart in making templates but aren’t recognized (especially after the cease in functionality of the Wordpress Theme Area) or given enough credits to make this virtual place a beautiful place to surf in. We currently showcase PHPLD and Wordpress templates from various designers and some from Top Web Directory itself. All the themes fall under the creative commons license and selling them under any form is not permitted.
