Whether it's a single fig tee or a whole lot of greenery, plants bring life to any room.

I am currently loving dark and cozy colours like black and grey for bedroom walls… makes you want to stay in bed just a little longer.

Home and Delicious

noreply@blogger.com (Noella LeDrew) — Sun, 10 Mar 2013 18:35:00 +0000

I just discovered another online nesting magazine and I love it. It's called Home and Delicious and it's based in Iceland. It features unique interiors, recipes and DIY. They also have a blog and you can check it out here.

Irish Breakfast?

noreply@blogger.com (Noella LeDrew) — Mon, 09 Jan 2012 18:24:00 +0000

OK! It's not a Guinness, but it's green!

It's my own concoction of a salad in a glass. This delicious and oh-so-healthy smoothie contains carrot, celery, apple juice, romaine lettuce, green onion, green pepper, bean sprouts, tomato, garlic, ginger, and hemp seeds.

What fantastic open shelves. Everything you need is right there in front of your eyes. If this were my kitchen I'd be inspired to cook all the time!

Wine Inspired Part 2

noreply@blogger.com (Noella LeDrew) — Wed, 21 Sep 2011 03:14:00 +0000

I love the graphic text and logos/types and the natural colour of the wood, so I hung them in a vertical line above my bar tray table. A natural and fitting location, don't you think?

Wine Inspired

Look what I found:

Four beautiful wine crate pieces with the winery names and logos. I found them at my local Salvation Army Thrift Shop today for only $1.49 each! I'll post again later with what I plan to do with these lovelies.

Feathering My Nest

noreply@blogger.com (Noella LeDrew) — Fri, 16 Sep 2011 16:53:00 +0000

My latest DIY project was inspired by the Camaroon juju hat. I set out to create something as similar as possible, and without the hefty price tag, but was really limited by the type of feathers available. So I ended up with a cross between a juju hat and a starburst mirror. I'm thrilled with the result! Oh, and I guess I should mention that the total cost was only about $12. Yes, that's right, twelve dollars!

Steampunk Bath

noreply@blogger.com (Noella LeDrew) — Tue, 30 Aug 2011 14:50:00 +0000

I LOVE the mix of the clean lined modern elements with what looks like a cast-off from the industrial revolution.

It's so wonderfully distracting to the mechanically minded that one might just forget to wash behind their ears!

Out with the New - In with the Old

noreply@blogger.com (Noella LeDrew) — Mon, 29 Aug 2011 16:19:00 +0000

I've decided to replace my modern white and chrome shiny glam bar stools with something more natural and modest. Do you think I'm crazy?

Right now I'm loving the gunmetal grey of the legs. It's a rare masculine element in my very feminine abode... but I'm sure they will be painted white soon enough! What do you think?

Salsa Celtica

noreply@blogger.com (Noella LeDrew) — Mon, 29 Aug 2011 14:48:00 +0000

I discovered this band last night while watching the movie "Driving Lessons".
Cuba meets Scotland and the results are awesome! I hope you enjoy their performance as much as I do.
