Not the “craziest shit that I’ve ever done” like we were promised from the director and the trailer, which kind of sucks. All that for the first half being nothing but filler and a worthless cameo (although seeing Tom again is always awesome). They should’ve just stuck with when the song actually started. Makes me wonder if there’s an edit on the way just in case this thing makes air.

And I’ve gone off a rant on this.

Ya know I originally thought it was muddied but the more I listened to it the more I had a problem with the upper end of the spectrum. A lot of the keys and harmonics were getting lost but I felt it might have been to they way they were played and the unfamiliar mix of more traditional sounding instruments kind of throwing me off. That combined with the slightly amateur mixing probably amplified the problem even more but I mean like you said you wouldn’t expect India to be pumping out anything let alone something like this that, for the most part has good quality. The production’s mix needed to be cleaned up but as I mentioned above, I thought the producer took some great artistic approaches with some of the techniques used. Surprisingly good for India. (once again) That’s why I talked the production up a bit.

I would like to see what comes next. If they play their cards right, don’t get dicked by a label and actually get some proper time and money for a second album…it should be damn good.

Still my favorite Christian metal band. They keep true to what they believe and yet keep the music and lyrics just as aggressive and powerful without falling into the pitfalls of being preachy and “holier then thou”. Love the song

Lots?? If I’m not mistaken, “lots” means many. Thanatos (not to be confused with the Polish band of the same name who later changed their name to Trauma) were the only notable death metal band in Holland when Vader was formed in Poland.

But ehh, I’m not sure I’m the best person to comment on the album. I like bands of the same ilk as ETID, but I don’t like them really. I’ve tried, but they’re just not for me.

Thanks, Bisd. There are areas of songs that sound similar to Hands, like some of the slower tempo passages, but when these guys pick up the pace, it doesn’t sound anything like them. Don’t be disappointed just yet; give some full songs a listen once they’re available (I don’t think you’ll find any full songs from this album yet though).
