Yesterday was just one of those days... you kow the kind... bad hair day, running late, forgot to eat breakfast. I'm ashamed to admit I even forgot to throw my lipstick on {and you all know how I feel about my lipstick}!!

There I was, awkwardly speed walking to class, in the zone thinking about the millions of things I have to get done, when I heard a voice yell out to me, "LOVE YOUR BLOG!!"

I barely had time to say thank you because one, I was practically running and two I was completely taken by surprise. I so wish I would have stopped and talked with her instead of waving and saying thanks as I made my crazy dash to class. So... whoever you are, I want you to know that you TOTALLY made my day!!! THANK YOU! :)

Hello dahlings! I am Megan from Classy Confessions. I am so excited to be posting today on Pink Peonies. Rachel and I have been friends since high school and she has always been a stunner. I used to always look forward to Dance Company when I could catch a glimpse of her gorgeous outfits!

The end of February/beginning of March can be quite drab in Utah. Everything is dead, the colors, are bland, and the weather has psychological issues...namely bipolarity. So, in order to spice things up, I like to dress in bright, stand-out colors. They help to cheer me up in the dreary season in between spring and winter. You know what else cheers me up? Candy necklaces. I wanted to eat this necklace when I first saw it (I mean, it's just so bright and alluring), but to my dismay, it's not edible. Go figure? So instead I just spend my days staring at it in the mirror—drooling. I have issues I know.

What do you do to spice up your outfits during a bland winter?

Jose Eber Product Review...

Ladies, do I have a treat for you today.

Jose Eber sent me a few of their fantastic hair styling tools to try out and review.

Believe me it is no exaggeration when I say they are AMAZING!!!!

I am so excited to share them with all of my lovely readers.

First Up: The magic little time saver, the Wet or Dry Flat Iron.

This flat iron REALLY DOES STRAIGHTEN WET HAIR!

I was a little skeptical at first {I thought all my hair would most definitely fry off} but to my surprise,

the little magic iron that could, totally dried, flat ironed and softened my hair within minutes.

Forget the blow dryer! Kill two birds with one stone {or flat iron in this case}.

Note: Because wet hair can be tricky/stubborn to work with, flat iron your hair in layers.

By doing this you'll get beautifully smooth and straightened hair.

And the finished result! I'm so in love with this flat iron, I literally have used it everyday for a week!

I love how silky and soft it leaves my long locks.

This flat iron was very convenient when I went out of town last weekend, check ya later blow dryer!

Next Up: The Infrared Blow Dryer. This dryer is perfect for days I want to curl my hair.

First, it dries my hair in HALF the time my other dryer did. Second, it gives me Victoria Secret

worthy volume, which is a great base to start with when curling hair.

And last but certainly not least: 100% Ceramic 1 1/4" Pink Heart

This baby will straighten your hair to the nines and it's fast too.

I am totally in LOVE with soft hues right now. This color palette is soft and feminine...a breath of fresh air.

Cheetah prints are bold but using the print as a subtle accent can give your look a fun and polished, finished touch.

Neutrals with a POP... still LOVING!! Remember this post?

So I just have to tell all of you fashionistas about the story of these {gorgeous} heels and how we became the best of friends {especially because they're so comfy}.

It all began when I found these little darlings about a month ago online at ZARA.

I asked the hubby if he liked them and he said something along the lines of... "wouldn't you rather save your money? You already have WAY too many shoes."

I thought he was right {for a minute} but I couldn't stop thinking about the color block heels.
I caved and decided to purchase them a couple hours later BUT to my dismay they were sold out in my size.

I talked my sister-in-law into getting them since I couldn't {and I was a little jelly that she snatched herself a pair}.

I was so distraught, I emailed ZARA begging them to get more back in stock
{as if ZARA would listen to me right??}

To my surpirse, a couple weeks later they were back!!!!!!!!

I purchased them the second I was notified via email they were available.

What's the moral of the story?? I don't really know except for the fact that they're only $49!!!!

Go order them before they're gone again!
