Yes, that is nerd rapper extraordinaire Adam WarRock in the last panel. If you’re (somehow) not familiar with Mr. WarRock, here is his website. He’s got a new album out that the entire staff at The Rack agrees is absolutely tops and he’s currently on tour with Kirby Krackle on the west coast! If you like hip-hop and “nerdcore” that’s well produced and never patronizing, he’s your #1 new favorite artist.

As you can tell by the recolored version of the strip that now adorns this page, we’ve been busy while on holiday break! We took the chance to recruit a new member to the The Rack creative team: Joe Hunter! Joe will be joining us as colorist and I couldn’t be happier to have him on board. If you’re not familiar with Joe’s work (and you should be, really, so get on that,) you’ll want to check out his own Ghostbucket as well as the supernatural workplace comic Changeling, written by Luke Herr. Joe’s a great talent and with his help, we’re going to make sure that “Three Days of the Con” is a high point in our strip.

1. We’re sorry about the delay. Technical issues, including a burp by our hosting provider, meant that the strip didn’t go up until today. Please accept our apologies and collect your refund tokens when you exit the ride.


2. It must be so weird to be Matt Murdock’s best friend now. After a decade and change of constant, merciless grimness pouring out of the man (and understandably so,) the new attitude has to be…off somehow. Hence this strip. Props to Birdie for changing his style up a bit to match the tone.
