This last week has been entirely too busy, and I have a lot to catch up on! But I could not help myself from working on this video!

Jake asked me a while ago to help him surprise Jenna for when he came home from his mission in Tonga. It is a miracle she had no idea. I told her she is either very blonde, or the Lord played a big part in helping keep this secret!

Makes me cry. SO happy for them both!

You can't go the month of December without decorating "ginger bread" houses, or graham cracker houses for that matter.

Being the competitive person that I am, Brooklyn and I were bound and determined to have the better graham cracker house, or at least I was [brooke helped by coming and eating a skittle here and there, or decorating the ice cream cone trees]. Watching Jenna and Isaac struggle at first I was confident that the "strong foundation" of my house would stay right in place.

At least for a minute.

Yes, that blow dryer was what I was using to harden my frosting more quickly.

Isaac and Jenna at least had four hands to keep the walls in place :)

Right after I finished my shingled roof, it caved in.

Luckily Kevin's engineering skills were put to use and he helped Brooke finish up the house so that I could go to tithing settlement.

Brooke named our house Gingy and both Isaac and Jenna named theirs Dopey, because it was dope! Oh boy!

I think they both turned out really cute!?

But hey, it was fun!

A couple days ago I entered to win a birth story! Whichever picture on her site has the most likes will win. I am currently in second place! I can't believe how close I am to first place! We have until Christmas Eve to make every vote count!
This would be the VERY best Christmas gift we could ever ask for!
I can't believe how much love and support I have seen from our friends and family already. I am overwhelmed with love and am completely grateful for those I have in my life who love and support us.

I just couldn't help myself.

I can't help but think how cute her little bum will be wearing these!

Baby girl moves like crazy and loves to keep me up all night long.

Actually the other night was the first night in a while that I didn't sit there for hours, looking at the clock, waiting for my alarm to go off.

Friday Jenna and I went to Lance's parents to work on a quilt and then went to the What A Woman Wants expo. We were there for about two hours and finished it off with a free ten minute massage. Afterward we went to Fashion Place mall to see where Jenna could spend her shopping spree [from work] money. By the end of the day we were both a little slap happy and just wanted to go home and get in our beds!

Saturday, I helped my friend Sarah host a baby shower for a girl from our work having twin girls. With full intention of brining my camera, I completely forgot to bring it to the shower! It turned out really cute and it got me pretty excited to start having some of my own. I started to realize how quickly time has gone and that it will only go faster from here on out.

Sarah, Jacinda and I went to Playing for Keeps after the shower. It's usually tradition that we go to Zupas before a movie but since we just finished with the shower we vetoed that idea and brought leftover snacks instead. I always love going out with these girls! We always have such a good time. I will miss Sarah while she is on her mission in freakin Paris but Jacinda and I will be sure to keep up on tradition.

Also, this last week, Lance and I bought an upright freezer! It is weird but I am seriously so excited about it!

I can't stand living dinner-to-dinner, not knowing what to make and not having much on hand to just throw a dinner together. Sounds crazy, but this freezer is my motivation to precook meals and have them ready to go for Lance when he has to work.

I'm planning to spend one day a week [then, hopefully only once a month] to prep all of our dinners ahead of time!

I'm hoping I can come up with plenty of clean [not clean as in washing the vegetables before..] recipes that will freeze well!

Last but not least, I have to brag about my husband for a second. I've always told him that I wouldn't ever push him to eat the way I would like him to. I feel that by doing so it would just make matters worse.

I know that when people would always criticize me or make comments when I was eating horribly that it would only make me want to hide what I was really eating. So that is the last thing I would want to do.

The last couple weeks, I have noticed a change in him. He may not love it now or may not even stick with it forever, but it makes me happy to know that he is trying and doing awesome!

I was SUPER happy when I made a fully clean meal and his response was that he loved it! I'm hoping to make more and more meals that I can get that same response. It makes me excited to start cooking meals that both of us will eat!

For Thanksgiving this year, we were able to spend time with Lance's family. It's a little difficult sometimes to try and spend as much time with every single family I have, so Lance and I have decided that we make it a point to spend the whole day with one family and then just trade off the other years. To start off the morning we went down by Utah lake to go shooting. All the boys brought their guns, clay pigeons and ammo.

Of course, dinner was amazing! I'm pretty sure I was in a food coma for about an hour afterward.

It didn't help being sick and not eating for 2 whole days before Thanksgiving, then to "all-a-sudden" have an appetite for everything in sight.

I ended up making lunch lady peanut butter bars and pumpkin cheesecake pies for my dessert. They were both experimental recipes and I was pleasantly surprised with both :) Jenny made yummy apple pies and Tori made both a chocolate pie and a cheesecake, cake.

Once we let our food settle, we all hit the 8 o'clock Walmart black friday madness. It was a bit ridiculous, but entertaining none-the-less. As if Walmart wasn't enough we decided Target would be a good choice afterward. It was funny seeing the boys get all hyped up and cheer on the crazy shoppers.

I'm glad we were able to spend the Thanksgiving weekend with Lance's family.

Since we already did the black friday deal Thursday night, Friday we Lance and his brothers helped Tim and Kamie move out of their apartment. I felt a little useless to help but at least Miss K was cheering on the movers the entire time!

I guess maybe I did do a little black friday shopping? Kind of.

It wasn't really a black friday deal, but I thought it was a good deal:)

We bought our crib and I absolutely love it!

I'm hoping it is only as pretty in person as it was online!

Lance and I spent Saturday morning up in Wolf Creek cutting down our Christmas tree! We actually found 3 trees that we liked and just had to decide which one would be best!

Hopefully we made a good pick!

I wanted to get home quickly so that I could start setting up Christmas decorations (the small amount that I have). I always seem to forget how long it takes me to put lights on the tree. This year I feel like our tree looks like a Dr. Seuss tree and I'm happy with it!

As much as I miss the huge, bushy, prelit, stack the top on the bottom kind of tree, I really do enjoy going with Lance to find "the perfect tree". I told him that next year we are going to work hard for our tree. Hike our butts deep into the mountains to get it.

He just rolled his eyes, he knows he loves me :)

Saturday night Lance and I went to the new Traverse Mountain outlets with Isaac and Kevin. Afterwards we went to Cabella's and Dickey's for dinner.

Dickey's allows you to get free ice cream after your meal.

Once I saw that Kevin, Isaac and Lance were finished with their food I offered to go get them an ice cream cone. Isaac and Kevin said yes.

It took me back to making ice cream cones at paces where I felt the need for the cone to look perfect.

I made the first cone. Wahlah.

I started making the second cone and the ice cream stopped. You could imagine how mad I was when my need for perfection was ruined with only have an ice cream cone, and not only that but little blops of ice cream on top of each other.

I started to laugh at myself (yes, I do that frequently) as I was walking back to the table with an ice cream cone and a half. I let Kevin and Isaac choose who got which one.

Lance still needed one so I told one of the workers up front that they were out of ice cream.

I'm sure they weren't surprised being that they had already run out of pork, rolls, bbq sauce, and fries. Not to mention the garbage cans were over flowing out of the top. Isaac was a little afraid to use the bathroom, thinking they would be out of toilet paper!

The worker went to pour in the ice cream and I patiently waited for a couple minutes to try the ice cream machine again.

I walked back to get Lance a cone and it still wasn't working.

Meanwhile, a guy sitting at the table next to the machine asked if I ate all the ice cream. He probably saw that I already made the two previous cones.

Once Kevin and Isaac finished their cones, Lance went back to see if it would work.

It did and he came back to the table with a nice cone.

After the fight between my stomach and my mind, my stomach won and I justified that I would be okay to put a little bit of ice cream in a cup and enjoy some myself.

I walked back, again, with my empty cup, pulled down on the trigger and nothing came out.

WHAT THE HECK!?

It must be a sign.

Can't a pregnant lady get some freakin ice cream around here!?

Well that was a little ironic.

I felt the need to vent for a minute.

I looked on pinterest to find a quote that had to do with what I feel the need to vent about.

Needless to say, it was the very first quote that popped up when I went under the quote category.

This is just something that has been on my mind the last little while.

Something that Lance and I will talk about frequently.

There are so many people in my life. So many different sides of the family. Lance's friends. My friends. Those we work with.

The part I've been thinking about most, is the part in the quote that says they'll make an effort to be in it.

I know those that make an effort to be a part of my life.

Those that ask questions about me and actually care about how I am doing and how my life is going.

Those that call and make plans, rather than just talk about it.

Those that actually want to make plans, rather than feeling "obligated".

Sometimes I feel like I slack to make an effort to be part of others lives.

But then I sit there and think, they aren't making an effort so why should I?

I am a people pleaser, but I realize I can't please everyone.

So at least if I try and make that effort at least once a month then I can feel better about it.

Reserving the space in my heart for my family: Well, I have a different family dinner every sunday, does that count? - check.

Reserving the space in my heart for my Heavenly Father: always room for improvement, but improving - semi check.

Reserving the space in my heart for my friends: working on it.

That being said, I do have amazing people in my life. I don't know what I would do without them! I've just come to realize that I know how it makes me feel when those who I feel should make an effort don't and I don't want to make those that matter to me feel that same way.

I'm beginning to feel somewhat huge.

Every single night I feel like I have to lay flat on my back over a bunch of pillows to make my ribs stop hurting.

I wake up every night around 2:30 or 3:00 for who knows why.

My heartburn has stopped, for now, and I sure am glad that I haven't spent my days over the toilet bowl for over a month now.

I'm mostly registered for things we need, which is still like everything! :)

I'm still not sure Rudy knows what is about to hit him.

Here's to 25 weeks!

I've come to the conclusion that Lance is a way better husband than I am wife. I got my birthday present early this year and I have some pretty cute neices and a beautiful best friend to practice on with my new lens!

On Halloween we went to Lance's parents and had dinner in a pumpkin. I loved Reagan's fairy costume.

This last weekend I was able to meet my new neice Londyn. Mandy, Lorin and their cute family are in town for Jake and Chelsea's wedding this coming weekend. Friday night I went to the Bountiful temple for Chelsea's endowments.

It's always nice to be able to go when it is for family.

We went to Winger's afterward to celebrate.

I don't like to be the one that posts every little detail of my life on facebook. That is why I have a blog. Where I can obsessively post about how cute my dog is and where I can post about day to day things that happen with miss k.

Our 22 week appointment was last Wednesday.

I'm very glad that we have been able to schedule our appointments where Lance is able to be there with me.

It is crazy to think that 6 weeks ago at our ultrasound I couldn't feel the movement that I saw on the screen. Now, I swear this little girl never stops moving. I pretty much know what time of day it is based on her movements.

I love watching my stomach moving and sitting there wondering what she will look like and how she will sound.

Here are a couple clips of miss k. So far, her hands have always been right next to her face.

I love when she taps her forehead and when you can see her stretching out her fingers.

It's kind of hard to see, so I guess you kind of have to have an imagination when looking at these ultrasounds.

Off to look for more fabric :)

Boy, have I missed Moab?!

Lance and I were able to go to Moab a couple months ago and ride the four wheelers. That was "Lance's way" of the Moab trip. So, now I needed to break him into "my way" of the Moab trip! HIKING!
One of the best workouts out there! The weather was a little chilly at the first of the morning but other than that it was perfect!
The skies were BRIGHT blue and I LOVED it!
Secretly, so did Lance :)

I am sad, however, that we missed mine and Lance's neice and nephews first birthdays and the halloween weekend up in Richmond with Lance's family.

Here's to a TON of pictures!

The first thing we do when we get to the room is... well duh, jump on the beds!

I'll never know.

Ya know when you go to Lagoon and you have that first ride that you just have to go on!? Mine was always colossus! Well, that is the way I felt when we got to Moab.

It took about 7 shots to get one that actually worked, where it didn't look like I was constipated from pushing my stomach out so far.

Have you ever had one of those moments where you just feel like doing a cart wheel? Well...

After Delicate we went to Balanced Rock and the North and South Window arches.

I snapped this photo about 1/2 a second before....

she missed a step and almost knocked her face open. I could have sworn she did. I'm such a good daughter to take a picture of my mom on her butt instead of helping her up.
That's why I have a husband right?:)

We ended up gonig to Zax for dinner that night. Mmm.

Saturday we got ourselves ready for Double O Arch. Also another one of my favorites.

I must say I felt a little handicapped this time around. I usually love to jump from rock to rock and run back down the trail once we've made it to the arch. But I have a wonderful husband that kept reminding me I am carrying our child. So I took it easy and let him help me like a gentleman through the crazy rocks.

Whenever he comes to help me it makes me realize that the last two miscarriages haven't only affected me but him too.

I love the Double O Arch hike because of the view you get along the way.

Lance was Brookie's buddy this hike.

Once Brooke saw that we had to walk across the top of this rock she was done, said she was going to wait for us, but Lance came to her rescue and offered a piggy back. Sometimes I forget that Lance is her brother and not an uncle. I thought it was adorable.

Can you see why she might have wanted a piggy back? You feel so huge yet so tiny at the same time.

Apparently we are all spazes because Jenna fell off the rock about 1/2 a second after this shot! We were walking and taking the picture to catch-our-hair-flowing-in-the-wind.
Note to self: Don't walk and take pictures at the same time.

The bottom O seems so big and then you walk to the other side and the top O is ginormous!

As I walked back down through the little O, I see my husband...climbing up the side of a rock like Spidy!

All of a sudden he disappeared and I saw his shadow walking up along the top. So I ran back over to the other side, and yes, there he was standing in the ginormous O!

On our way back, I saw this gap between some rocks and wanted to plank between them. Probably not a good idea.. So I made everyone else do it :)

Brooke was a little too short to plank the gap so she decided to jump off the rock instead.

We shot some other pretty cool pictures along this hike but Jenna has them on her camera.

Oh boy will I have some adding to do! Have you ever seen so many stinkin pictures in a post!?

After our hike we did some shopping, sat in the hot tub (well I dangled my feet) and watched one of my clients pageants.

For the last day in Moab we tried an arch I've never been to. Corona Arch.

Okay, the description of this hike was a bit deceiving. Moderately easy? My butt!

If it were moderately easy do you think you would need metal ropes and ladders to help you get through it?

Didn't think so.

It actually wasn't too bad, it was an awesome hike!

Last Tuesday we went to the REAL game with Isaac, Jenna and Kevin. As rainy and as freezing as it was we were lucky to have the seats that we did because we didn't get at all wet! I felt bad the first part of the game because Lance came from work and couldn't find a parking spot and had to walk forever in the rain to get to the stadium, but I was glad he was still able to make it!

Thanks Isaac for inviting us to the game!

I thought I was addicted to pinterest before? After knowing that wee is now Miss K, I spend hours and hours looking at little girl ideas.

Lance and I went to fetal photos to have a gender determination ultrasound. I thought I was a patient person (besides when it comes to driving, anyone who drives with me knows this to be 100% true), but knowing that we could know the gender and didn't know it was killing me.

I have an awesome husband.

I told Lance that I wanted to do halloween crafts but didn't want to spend my "blow money" for the week on craft stuff. So he told me to take my Paces money ($65) and go buy things. I responded by saying.. "OR I could use that sixty five dollars on something else I know to be sixtry five dollars?!"

He knew exactly what I was talking about (the ultrasound) and said it was up to me. I told him I would call him right after I made the appointment:)

When we went into the room and I layed on the bed I kept telling myself that since mostly everyone was bound and determined we were having a boy that wee had to be a girl.

I was super excited when the tech had told us we would be having a girl, I almost cried.

We went and bought her a little outfit and put it in a white bag with blue and pink tissue paper to tell our families.

I haven't been very emotional since being pregnant and I'm only hoping it doesn't get worse as I get further along, but I almost had a breakdown in Walmart the other day.

With my first pregnancy, Lance and I started talking about room stuff early on. He wanted a crib that was oak and I wanted a dark cherry wood crib. Well...now that I have pinterest my ideas have, well..changed.

So when we were looking at cribs I told Lance that I now wanted a white crib. He didn't agree and told me that now he likes the dark cherry wood cribs. So again, I told him I wanted a white crib.

Let's just say I was stomping around Walmart like a 3 year old giving my parents the silent treatment for giving in to my every want.

After a couple minutes he brought it up into the conversation again. I stopped and looked at him and said, "Stop. Be quiet or I will cry right here in the frozen food section."

I don't think we said two words to each other on the 7 minute ride home. I sat down in silence, ticked.

Out of no where Lance said, "we can do a white crib."

Again, I have an awesome husband.

While walking through Gordmans the other day, again, out of no where Lance said, "We can also paint the room purple if we have to".

Yes, we have too:)

And that is why I love him.

I have since gone out and bought most of my material to get started on her room.

I keep having dreams that I see her feet come out of my stomach stretching my skin as far as it will go.

Miss K is moving alot more. Lance has now felt her move a couple times too. The very first time was right before bed watching a show. I could feel her moving like crazy and grabbed Lance's hand to have him feel. I was watching his face to see his reaction. I could tell when he felt it. He looked at me and I asked if he felt it. He replied back, "I think so!?"

It was cute.

Can't believe my 21 week mark is tomorrow!

Last weekend Jenna and I went to my mom's to decorate pumpkins. Can I just say I seriously LOVE this season?! I love everything about it! The weather, the smell of fall, the food, the outfits that I wish I had...

After my mom put the pattern on the pumpkin Ty actually carved the whole thing by himself! Not too shabby eh??

My attempt at the "not-so-messy" pumpkin. I'm glad Jenna got a picture of these before I took them out to my car, because they are now sitting at my house with half the paint peeled off and my buttons now say "ROO" - scary I know!

The last couple weeks have been a little lonesome. Lance has been "hunting" for about 3 weeks now. So that means I've spent some nights alone. Not that I am not used to that, it just seems like a lot lately. But I have been able to spend some weekend time with him here and there. It has been nice breaking in our trailer and putting it to use before the season is over. I must say I absolutely LOVE our trailer. A place we can call our own when we are out in nature.

I would take Rudy on walks each morning up this path.

One night when it was just Lance, Rudy and I the moon was huge! We spent the night sitting by the fire staying warm.

I love my little family so much :)

Friday night I went over to Kevin's with Jenna and Isaac and we made carmel apples before the BYU-USU football game. We figured since it is now fall we might as well start acting like it is!

Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory has some serious competition right here!

I can't believe I will be 19 weeks tomorrow! I am already almost half way there!

On Wednesday, I felt alot of movement inside. So I sat down for about five minutes and tried to see if I could feel from the outside. I felt wee move twice with my hand. It was a crazy moment. I told Lance immediately and wished he was there to feel it! I've tried to have him feel since but we haven't had any luck. On the other hand, Lance agreed that we could go to Fetal photos on Thursday and have a gender determination ultrasound! I am very excited and hope wee cooperates this time so we don't have to wait until Halloween...hopefully!

I feel like I can let people know that Lance and I will have a wee in our family come March of next year!

I want to be able to document everything I can remember before I forget anything.

On June 23, Lance was at work and I took a test before taking a shower. I waited for a couple minutes and the test didn't show any positive result. I still had about 7 days before knowing for sure if I would be or not, so it was still pretty early. But if you have ever tried to conceive before I'm sure you know the feeling of spending half your monthly income on pregnancy tests (not really, just feels like it). So I got in the shower thinking I would try again in the next couple of days. The second I got out of the shower I looked at the test and there was a second line that had shown up on the test! I may or may not have squealed out loud. I took a picture and immediate sent it to Lance saying, "Do you see what I see?!" Right after I sent it I thought to myself, "Stupid! Why didn't you suprise him with something clever in the next week or two?" But it was already sent. So he called me a little later that day and I asked him if he had gotten the picture I sent him, he said he hadn't, so I told him to check his phone again to make sure. I waited for a second and he hurried back on the phone and all excited said, "Really?!" I replied back, "I think so!" We were both really excited and hopeful.

That same day I went into Paces to work and Sarah asked the second she saw me if I was pregnant yet. I told her that the test I took this morning might have been positive. Right after work I went down to my dad's house for Braydon's birthday and on the way down Jenna had asked me if I took a test yet. I didn't say anything and she imimediately knew I was pregnant and told me to call my doctor right that second. So I did and Dr. Spencer wrote me in a prescription that I was able to pick up that night.

I have been taking the progesterone hormone twice a day since then and will stop taking it in a week and a half at my twelve week mark.

I went to my moms the next day and as soon as I got to the top of the stairs she looked at me and said, "Ken. You are pregnant!" I looked away and denied the fact completely telling her I wouldn't even know for sure for another week. She knew.

A couple days went by and it seems like everyone I knew asked me if I had taken a test or if I was pregnant.

A small handful of people knew. I emailed Jake the day I found out and when he responded (2 weeks later!) he had told me he had a feeling he would be meeting this baby. That calmed my nerves immensely.

Last Wednesday, Diet, Tim, Reagan, Lance and I went fishing up at East Canyon. We were dog sitting Matt and Jacindas dog Koda and Lance wanted to show Tim a couple pictures and videos of the pups playing. As I was sitting there I was looking at Lance hoping he would be recieving my telepathic voice in my head saying, "HELLO, STOP SHOWING PICTURES THE ULTRASOUND IS RIGHT THERE!! LANCE...LANCE..LANCE!!!" I could tell that Lance went one picture too far by the look on both their faces! I could tell by how excited they both were and Lance signaled to Tim to keep it quiet. The next ten minutes went by and I could not stop smiling so I had to go sit in the front of the boat with Lance so I would not make it more obvious. We didn't want to tell people for a couple more weeks, when I would hit the twelve week mark.

This last weekend we told our families that we would be expecting a baby in March 2013. I was 10 weeks along on Monday and I have, or I should say, baby has made it further than the last two pregnancies.

This time, as much as I haven't wanted to become attached, I have felt much more hope this time around.

I am actually having symptoms, which I am entirely grateful for. It proves to me that the wee is still growing inside me. There have been a few emergency freeway pull overs so that I am not losing my guts inside the car. I've learned that as long as I keep something in my stomach about every hour that my stomach is much more willing to cooperate.

At our first ultra sound when I was six weeks and saw the little fluttering heart beat I almost got teary eyed.

I was amazed at our eight week ultra sound when wee actually looked like a person, kind of. I atleast recognized a body with tiny arms and legs and a ginormous head. I could even see little eyes and thought it looked like Leap Frog, Lance said it looked like a cinnamon bear.

Writing this now is actually the first time since the day I found out I was pregnant that I have tears about ready to fall down my cheek, I haven't been very moody and I am grateful or that. At least I don't think I have been, Lance may think otherwise.

It is cute to see Lance's reaction to this whole experience. I know without a shadow of a doubt that Lance will be an awesome dad.

I think it just hit me that our lives will be changed forever.

Well, 14.5 weeks along, hadn't thrown up in ALMOST 2 weeks and today it has already been twice. Lance actually asked me if it is really that bad? What the what?? Do you think I make this up babe? YES, it is horrible, my eyes water everytime, ~~as well as other uncontrollable things~~, and I sound like the baby is literally going to come out of my mouth. So yes, it is that bad :)
BUT, I am glad that it is now every few days as opposed to every day, three times a day.

I can't wait for September 19! Two weeks from yesterday we find out what our wee is. I'm such a planner that I don't feel like we can do anything until we know.

It is kind of weird, some days I am starting feel like it is more and more real but then there are days (probably when I'm not so nauseated) that I don't think about it as often as I usually would. Another reason I am excited to find out what we are having.

According to my apps (real reliable I know ;), wee is anywhere from 3-4.5 inches long.

I don't feel like I have a "baby bump" quite yet, besides the fact that I feel like my chub just sticks out further than before.

We were able to go into the doctor today for my 16 week appointment and tried to see the gender, but wee was a little modest and all we could see were crossed legs and a head. Which I am perfectly okay with. It was still moving and had a heart beat and I was happy. The heart beat this time had decreased from always being at 180 bpm to 145 bpm. I was intently watching the screen waiting to see any sign as to if we will be having boy or girl but we didn't see anything, the doctor just told us there wasn't an obvious sign of boy. So now Lance really thinks he is right and still thinks it is a girl. I've been convincing myself this whole time that we are having a boy, at least one of us will be right :) I think it is the most aweful experience to get my blood drawn. I had to do it again today and it is the worst thing ever. Not that it hurts, but that blood that is SUPPOSED to be IN my body is coming OUT of my body. I get light headed, my vision goes black and my lip starts to sweat. I wish I knew how to control it better. At least I had Lance there next to me so that if I did pass out he would catch me. The nauseousness is starting to slow down and the heart burn it starting to catch up but at least I'm still feeling symptoms. I can't tell if I have felt baby move yet or not. I know that I am feeling "things" down low I'm just not quite sure what it is.

I am very grateful that things are looking the way they are. I often wonder what would have happened if we hadn't got off birth control when we did and stuck to our original plan to try and get pregnant in June 2012 (which obviously happened). I never question what our Heavenly Father has in store for us or why things have to happen the way they do, I have complete faith that He knows what He is doing and that His plan is the right one for Lance and I. I know things will be different, I know our lives will change. I also know that we will be as prepared as we can for that change come March 4th(ish). I feel like it is forever away but I know the time will come quickly and I don't want to wish my days away, I want to enjoy the moments and what comes with it.

Around last April I fell in love...with a trailer. Lance and I spent our summer looking for the best one for us. The best fit for our future, within our budget, with our needs..and wants of course!

Neither of us are picky whatsoever ;) Ha.

I wanted a slide, with bunks and a LOT of storage!

Lance wanted a good price for a newer trailer..with some other things too, I guess.

Well after what seems to have been 100 trailers later, we kept going back to the one we originally had loved. After Jackson we decided to get pretty serious. We went back to Ed Kenley to talk to some people about "The Cougar". If you know my husband you know that it takes him years, okay maybe only months, to make a decision when it comes to the big things.

I often give him crap for knowing how we knew to marry me. If it takes him that long to make a decision on a car, trailer, motorcycle, etc. How in the world did he know to choose me for eternity!?

Anyway, the second I walked into this trailer again I told Lance it was ours, I don't care, it is! For the heck of it we decided to low ball the bank to see if they would take our offer, they couter offered, we countered back and they accepted. I was SO excited, but didn't want to act that way just incase something didn't work out.

Once it was hitched up to the truck and we were driving away with it, THEN I was really excited!

I know some people think we are crazy for buying these things we want, but I know that we will have many memories in our second home away from home and just that thought makes it well worth it!

Can't wait to take it out next week!

Our Jackson trip always comes and goes so fast, but I still love every minute of it!

I spent quite a few days getting ready for the trip and spent all week looking forward to Thursday morning.

Couldn't you tell how excited we were leaving at 445 in the morning?

This year we had around 40 people in our group, both sides of the whole back loop was full friends and family that we knew and it was fun getting to know those that we didn't.

Most of us went on a bike ride and about 10 or 15 minutes in it started to down pour.

One of the days there we were able to drive down a dirt road a ways and see a bear. She is one of the 4 bears that we saw last year and she was eating on a carcass.

We made the usual trip into Jackson for a day to do some eating, shopping and to watch the BarJ show.

One of the days we went to String Lake to go canoeing. I was a little nervous to take Ty with us but he did really well and liked to put his fingers in a water as we were rowing.

Right before heading home. I seriously love the feeling of being in nature and enjoying time with those we love.

So lets just say it has been a long while since I have really updated.

(Maybe because Jenna finally did and now I could steal her pictures?:)

It has been an adjustment this summer getting used to Lance's work schedule. We didn't get to watch one firework show together. Which I guess is okay because I had a couple good alternative dates. A little while back we went to Weber States firework show. As I went to vacuum out my car I found a bubble machine and bubbles in my trunk. I have absolutely no idea where they came from or how they got there.

This was not by accident, that truely is the look I had on my face looking at the bubble machine trying to figure out how in the world it got into my trunk.

But we had fun with it anyways.

Each year, Kevin usually gets Raptors game tickets. I really don't remember much of the game. Oh, besides during the second inning I found out that we were the opposite team that I had initially thought we were :/

The last couple weekends I have been able to hang out with some of my girlfriends that I haven't seen in a while.

Jacinda and Sarah and I did the usual Zupas trip, spent hours talking, then went for gelato afterward at Station Parkway in Farmington. Oh my good night it was delicious, I got a small half mango and half raspberry and am hoping it will be there again the next time I go, whenever that will be?

The next day I went and spent some time with my friend Amanda that I graduated with last winter. I think it had even been since about Christmas time that I had seen her and her baby Walker, who is probably the cutest chunkiest little man I have ever seen. We went to the Ogden water park and watched Soul Surfer later that night after Walker went to sleep.

One of the things I LOVE about doing what I do is that I can schedule clients based on when I want. Therefore, I am finished working at 10 am friday mornings:) And therefore, I usually try and do something other than sit around my house all day long. Jenna is very good at keeping our Fridays fun. So, last Friday she brought up that we should to tubing, I was in, immediately. I had a few things to get done (and so did Syd) but we hurried as quickly as we could to make it up to Morgan in time to catch our 2:00 ride!

So.. We didn't leave Jenna's house until 1:20...and they wanted us to be there at 1:45...that means... I was driving;)

Did I mention I had almost NO gas?? Going 85 mph?? Going UP a canyon? Made it in the nick of time running on fumes.

For the first little bit we would all hang on to each other's tubes. Maybe because we thought we were going to die??

For some reason, we kept losing Jenna and she was on her own for a bit while Syd and I ran into trees and bushes. At one point I seriously peed myself. I had to go to the bathroom so bad before we left that as I was stuck in a tree holding onto a branch, I was laughing so hard I started to pee, which only made me laugh even harder. Thank goodness we were already in the water and I didn't have to worry much about people noticing ;)

I think we came to found that riding solo was much easier to maneuver ourselves around the river than trying to doggie paddle with one arm each.

The only way to move yourself from one side of the river to the other was to swim like Michael Phelps. Seriously, your whole body is out of the water while swinging your arms backwards over your head. I still have chafing marks on the insides of my arms from this skillful move.

I laugh every time I see this, I feel your pain Syd, but still hilarious!

When we finished up after about 2 hours, luckily there was a gas station within limiting bounaries so that we could get home okay rather than coasting back home down the canyon:)

Definitely doing this again!

After tubing I went with Brit and Sadie to Baiggi's for dinner. I haven't seen these girls in forever either and we had spent the night there talking. Talking good talk, talking girl talk, talking bad talk and laughing. Boy, have I ever, missed these girls?

Lance and I went up last weekend to East Fork of the Bear in the Uintahs with Matt and Tori, and Randy and Jenny with their kids. Oh, and I can't forget Rudy.

It was nice to be able to sit and relax for a couple of days.

People have been telling me that I work hard to play hard.

I will take that.

Why not take the summer to enjoy ourselves and be with family?

We went on walks, four wheeler rides, caught butterflies and spent the evenings fishing.

I caught a small glimps of Jackson Hole that will be happening in the next couple weeks and I can't wait.

Over the Fourth of July, Lance and I spent some time up at Kamie's cabin in Bear Lake.

Of course we stopped by and got some ice cream. Lance got the "famous raspberry" shake and I had to have a taste because I couldn't bring myself not to buy a chocolate shake!

Looks like I need to keep posting more, I've been somewhat of a slacker the last couple months.

Something that has been on my mind frequently is to live in the moment. I can't look at my past and let it hinder me. I have to make this very moment the best that it can be. That doesn't mean I can't set goals for the future. I have to let the past and future be my motivation. I have loved having the opportunity to work with my uncle Griff. He has helped me in more ways than he knows. I know I am not perfect and I know that I make mistakes, but I also know that those mistakes do not define me. My mistakes just prove to me that I am human but they also give me my drive. I will reach my goals.

two peas this season doesn't mean that I won't have plenty of fruits and vegetables in the future.

Spending about 40 minutes outside each day allows me the time my mind needs to relax and meditate. Yes, I meditate, it is calming and does my mind and body good.

I've loved being able to sit out on our "porch" with Lancer pants and spend the time we get together talking.

To celebrate 100 years of girls camp, the girls in our stake walked almost 7 miles from the Stake President's house to the Bountiful Temple along the Bonneville Shoreline Trail behind our house. I'm always suprised how good the girls do on activities like this. Here are a few of my girls (Olivia and Sydney) eating Chad's Pace Bars.

My pup when I come home from..well..anywhere. Even if it was just for an hour. Seriously makes me so happy!

Also, something I've enjoyed coming home to.. A clean home :) I'm a lucky girl. When I asked his reasoning for cleaning he replied, "because I love you"

I had to keep telling myself this on Saturday. My main goal was to run the race without stopping. Goal accomplished.

It definitely was a mind game though, that is for sure.

Many times I wanted to stop. Telling myself that my foot hurt so I should stop for just a second, or that my hips were going to fall out of place.

Eer, wrong. I hear excuses. Keep freaking going.

I really almost started crying at the end, not because I was hurting (which I was) but because I knew that I was going to accomplish a goal that I set my mind to.

Running races is not all about how physically fit you are. It is about how strong your mind is. Stop telling yourself you can't, because you can. Your legs are not chopped off, they are perfectly in tact, keep MOVING!

These were all things going through my mind the entire race.

When my feet were hurting, or my calves were on fire and I wanted to take a break, I kept thinking about all that I have in my life and those I surround myself with. That is what kept me going. Thinking that the 75 year old lady in front of me isn't stopping so why should I? I probably thought about every single one of my clients and the different struggles they all go through and how I need to set the example to them. Thinking about Lance and how I would have to keep up with Rudy, yes they kept me going. So many ~~"legit reasons"~~ excuses as to why I should have stopped.

But I had a plan. A plan to run the whole time, and nothing was going to stop me. Unless in fact, my legs did fall off, then I hope someone would have picked my sorry ars up and dragged me across the finish line.

But since that didn't happen, I was actually proud of myself for not stopping. I know I could have done better, I know I could have trained more, but it is what it is and what happened, happened. There is always another race to run and I'm only competing with myself.

My client Erica ran the race as well. I can not even say how proud I was when I saw her crossing the finish line and with an AWESOME attitude I might add!

As sad as I was that Lance didn't run it with me this year, I was happy to see him cheering me on at the finish line, I hope he knows what he is in for. He was there once, he's now expected to be there every time ;)

After our run we went over to get massages, Katie said something along the lines of "look at that man enjoying his massage and eating his creamy." Well, look at that! If it wasn't John Rhode himself! The winner of Biggest Loser! Inspiring those around him daily!

After these kind of experiences I'm always looking for the next thing to try. I'm thinking cycling and swimming... I see a triathalon in my future..
