Sunday: Gorgeous sunset happens, and I’m able to capture it!
Monday: Just a walk around the complex, and I love getting views of the pond behind our building.
Tuesday: I made a coffee, complete with foamed milk! And in Han Solo. So Yum!
Wednesday: Josh’s birthday! We went around town, and even stopped in the Harley dealership!
Thursday: Just a random day, nothing really happened. It was nice!

Sunday: Just a normal relaxing Sunday. I enjoyed being able to play with the laptop, without, you know, burning my lap.
Monday: I bought shorts. All 3 ended up having cuffs, and I didn’t notice until they were folded!
Tuesday: Madison loves to just strike a pose! Always willing to have her picture taken!
Wednesday: Bright beautiful sun. I’m not a fan of the heat, but I love the sun!
Thursday: Clouds come in, lightly shielding us from the sun. The humidity levels are through the chart, but it was still a nice day.
Friday: The kids waiting for the bus. This scene will change son, and I’m just not ready for it!
Saturday: Madi and I headed to Dover, KS for Camp Daisy. Time for Back to Basics.Madi and I both had an absolute blast. I couldn’t even complain about the headache the humidity gave me!

Sunday: We woke up in Dover, KS, after spending the night at Camp Daisy.
Monday: Mmm… Pizza chips. So good! Craving fixed!
Tuesday: Josh got me margarita glasses. Oh. Em. Gee! I’m in love!!
Wednesday: Frozen margarita glass filed with Pepsi one. Really worked!
Thursday: I found Margaritaville Coffee, too. I love that kind of timing!
Friday: Soak time for the bath. I needed that. It felt so good! So relaxing.
Saturday: Madison went from a little bitty Brownie, to a full-fledged Junior. It was such a blessing to watch her bridge. I was so proud of her. It was also an amazing experience to watch 3 of my Daisies become Brownies. Love!

Speaking of migraines… guess what I have now, again?

But, I’m trucking along with ADSR 7.3 is completed and accepted. 7.4 is done, but I can’t share it until tomorrow!! It’s a Fresh Baked goodie from Gingerscraps (the store … but we’re working on making Ginger come back to designing She has a new computer. She’s out of excuses    )

I bought 3 pairs of shorts, of varying lengths, styles, and even brands. All three? Rolled cuffs. I didn’t realize until I was stacking them to go in the washer :O

I did a crapton of laundry. All of it!

Madi’s blurry, but I love that I got Hannah and Halli in the shot. Two girls who’ll be part of Madi’s journey, two girls I adore!

Madison, I can’t believe that I watched you grow so much. This year has been full of big changes in your life, and you did it with grace and beauty.

You take that first step, towards maturity. Some worry for you. Some can’t watch.

But you took that step, with grace, with beauty, with pride.

We love you, Baby Girl, and we are so proud of you. SO proud.

Now excuse your momma as she goes and finds a corner to cry.

I say that now, but come a slow month, and I’ll be complaining for a busy one, right? That’s the way it always is

Now that I’m caught up with ADSR, it’s time to start working on my P365-related layouts. Weeks 17 & 18, plus 19 ends TOMORROW :O

I also need to do weeks 3-18 for Project: Life, Madi’s P52, and Ethan’s P52. Oh, and February through April for P12. Gah, I am SO behind!!

The biggest life-changing event for me was the birth of my children. I went from just another young and stupid kid, to being an adult. I had time to prep, but honestly, they showed me that no amount of “training” would make me capabale of being a parent. Just tim, practical experience, and love and support of family and friends. We struggled for the first few years, but now, things are better. The kids are healthy, happy, & growing like weeds. I’m proud of how far we have come as a family. I don’t know where life will take us, but I’m ready for it to come.

Back to Basics

The truck needs new shocks. I’m not sure what kind it needs. I’ve looked at rancho rs7000mt shock absorber. I think I need to talk to my Girl Scout troop leader’s husband. He does that sort of stuff.

The truck needs a few other things as well. Needs a new fuel filter. That’s over $100, and the part? Less than $30-40, from what Josh has seen in the LMC and related guides. Yeah, that much for labor :O It costs more to fix the part than it does to buy the part. DADDY!! COME VISIT ME!!

Blech. The biggest money killer is vehicles, I swear! Well, at least my sister-in-law now knows what it’s like to drive an SUV. She’s driven a huge truck (her mom’s truck, the one Josh was driving until we got the Malibu), a car, and an SUV. I think she prefers a car though

I went camping. Full-on camping. You can see our perma-tents right there!
Those are our girls! Our girl scout troop. Some are missing, yes, but most of them are there!

All day, there were activities for the girls. They even got to do one with Becky, our leader. She taught us how to make swaps, which we already knew how to do, but the girls were also able to switch

We learned some fun facts about first aid, and that log that Miss Penny is sitting on produced a beetle or something that pinched the inside of my leg. SO nice!

We went on a hike, as well, and wow. That was a trek!

I hung with the Daisies, because that’s who I teach when I’m doing Girl Scouts. It was easier for me to stay with them, because they’re used to me telling them “No” and the like. Plus, it was a bit of a consistency thing for them.

We got to play with fire (the safe way). Only five of us, including me and Madi, actually stayed the night, and that was actually nice too. It was quiet and the girls had fun, getting to know each other even better. And I got to know another leader a lot better as well.

We also got to see the “Super Moon”

Madi made a fast friend with a girl just as sweet and goofy as she is. I loved it!

All in all, I think she enjoyed her weekend with just Mommy. We get to do it again at the end of the month when the boys go to Omaha with the Cub Scouts

The ladies have some amazing things planned!!

I’ve seen the prizes. I’ve seen the games. It’s going to be a LOT of fun!!

As you saw in the ad, there are a LOT of speed scraps, so I’ll be doing more layouts! I might save the instructions from the ones I miss and use them later!!

I think it would make a good gift, if Josh and I seriously saved up. I think the kids would enjoy hearing their pappaw play music for them more often. Maybe he could join a band, too, and play at NALC union rallies or something. Might get more people to show up then.

First, I have a new theme. Seriously, check it out Graphics are the A Match Made in Heaven buffet from the Gingerscraps designers! I’m so totally in love with it right now!

Second, have I mentioned the new theme? I did? Well, okay. Hmm …
OH!! I went to Walmart today and I found TWO frames I require!!

The first is just HUGE, with like ten spots for pictures! TEN!! I could go nuts with that!!
The second has a 4×6” frame opening, PLUS TWO 4×4” openings, PERFECT for Instagr.am pictures!!

The sad part? I only went into Walmart for bread and milk. Well, Madi and I needed rain boots for camping Saturday, and a sack lunch stuff, but still, . I didn’t buy the frames though. I was a good girl. Rent, car payment, and credit cards come out this pay period

Somehow donuts ended up in my cart. I’m not sure how. I bought them anyway

I looked cute, though, at least in my own opinion. Only threatened to run over one person, too, and he was upset that I wouldn’t do it [Love you, Mark!]

All in all, it’s shaping up to be a damn fine day, and I plan on taking advantage of it!

Time to do some laundry, some dishes, clean the kitchen floor, and who knows what else. No den meeting tonight for Ethan, and today’s Josh’s OT-day, so he’ll be home early.

This month is going to be one of those insanely insane months.

This weekend, I’m going camping. Jamie’s going to be watching Ethan

The 13th is Mother’s Day!!

May 23rd is no school for the kids, and the 24th is a half-day, last day type of event.

Friday-Saturday, Ethan and Josh will be in Omaha, Nebraska, at the Omaha Zoo for a Cub Scout trip.

I’m going to be getting my scrap on, my lessons learned on, and all that fun stuff this month, as well!
