Technical seminar Thermocold-AiCARR in TORINO, MILANO and TRENTO

"The efficiency of HVAC integrated systems: technologies for energy saving"

In collaboration with AiCARR Thermocold will have 3 technical meeting with the participation of TA-Hydronics on next 15, 16 e 17 May in Torino, Milano and Trento.

The changes in the heating sector occurred in recent years, witnessed by the European regulations regarding energy and environmental sustainability, require the study of more efficient integrated projects. It is now clear that the use of revolutionary technologies for HVAC systems allows the achievement of the goals set for energy savings according with the environmental strategies of the European Community.

Thermocold, historically devoted to innovation, analyzes the latest technological developments of the vapor compression refrigeration machine highlighting the advantages gained in terms of performance, comfort and reliability.

In this context, the integration machine - plant aimed at finding the best balance between the energy production system of heating and cooling and hydronic distribution system plays a crucial role.

A partnership focused on innovation and research in energy efficiency with the latest generation of multi-functional full inverter units ISA4-EA.

Thanks to the precious and valuable collaboration between Thermocold and one of the most prestigious plant engineering Italian company, the Fatiga Appalti in Rome, an innovative multi-functional full-inverter system was provided for one of the most important installation of the last years, not only in Italy but all over the Europe, the MBDA center of Rome.

For the comfort of the new buildings of the MBDA Italia Spa head office in Rome, one of the three member companies of the Matra BAE Dynamics Alenia - MBDA, the biggest European consortium for advanced HI TECH technologies, the Thermocold’s Multitube System units were chosen, innovative multi-functional FULL INVERTER units for four-pipe associated system.

N.5 Thermocold ISA4 - EA units were installed to provide heating and cooling for the two new buildings dedicated to the research and development activity of the center. The plant is composed by multi-functional units for 4-pipe systems with super low noise configuration and full inverter design concept, supplying a total cooling capacity of 3700 kW and a heating capacity about 4120 kW.

AiCARR Journal: Company experience

AiCARR Journal reports the experience of Thermocold, the first company on the HVAC market using the double cycle technology applied to multifunctional systems, through a technical article which analyzes the innovative DUO technology and reports the data collected by monitoring the performances of an existing installation.

The real working data collected of the DUO show how the unit is able to keep the real heating capacity, in winter space heating and hot sanitary water production, constant with any outdoor temperature.

The analysis made shows clearly how the use of multifunctional cascade cycle units with different refrigerants allows to overcome the limits of monocycle heat pumps, making the technology competitive and reliable compared to gas fired systems, even at colder climates and for hot water production at very high temperature.

The sustainable design of the building – equipment system

In collaboration with Proenergy + meetings, next November 14, 2012 Thermocold will be in Bari at the Fiera del Levante, at the conference entitled "Sustainable design of the building – equipment systems".

The technical meeting will show, through several talks by experts on the subject, the most advanced solutions available for designers, adopted in recently realized projects.

Not to be missed the speech of Eng. Rocco Luciano Uva, which will compare the energy classes achieved using a traditional system made by boiler and chillers and a modern plant equipped with a Thermocold‘s multifunctional unit for air conditioning and hot sanitary water production.

More than 120 participants at the technical meeting Thermocold - Aicarr of last September 20th held at the Polytechnic Campus in Milan.
Protagonist of the meeting, the new frontier of the multifunctional cascade cycle units and transcritical cycle units for summer air conditioning and winter space heating and for hot sanitary water production.

Thermocold at FRIGAIR EXPO

Thermocold in collaboration with its distributor in South Africa attended FRIGAIR EXPO – the dedicated HVAC&R exhibition held in Narsec in South Africa from 11 to 15 august.

The main subject of the fair was the energy efficiency, there have been B2B meetings and workshops, on the occasion we presented our wide range of multifunction units belonging to Multitube Systems.
