<h2 data-start="183" data-end="228"><em data-start="193" data-end="226">Welcome to the Compass Rose B&amp;B</em></h2>
<p data-start="229" data-end="306"><em data-start="229" data-end="304">A sneak peek into my brand-new cozy mystery series — coming January 2026!</em></p>
<p data-start="308" data-end="479">There’s something special about seaside inns. The salty air, the sound of waves against the pier… and of course, the occasional whisper of <em data-start="447" data-end="477">secrets behind closed doors.</em></p>
<p data-start="481" data-end="602">Welcome to the <strong data-start="496" data-end="516">Compass Rose B&amp;B</strong>, where the coffee is hot, the gossip is hotter, and every one has something to hide.</p>
<h3 data-start="609" data-end="636">Where It All Began</h3>
<p data-start="637" data-end="790">This series was born from my love of cozy corners, rainy days, and small-town mysteries that make you smile <em data-start="745" data-end="750">and</em> squint suspiciously at the same time.</p>
<p data-start="792" data-end="1056">I imagined a bed-and-breakfast perched on the coast—a place where travelers come to rest, but sometimes… never quite leave the same. The Compass Rose felt like the perfect name: a symbol of direction, destiny, and maybe even a few misdirections along the way.</p>
<h3 data-start="1063" data-end="1088">Meet the Setting</h3>
<p data-start="1089" data-end="1405">Picture this: a charming seaside town where the locals know everyone’s business (and half of them are wrong about it).<br data-start="1207" data-end="1210" />The Compass Rose B&amp;B sits on a hill overlooking the harbor—a creaky old beauty with floral wallpaper, antique teacups, and just enough locked doors to make you wonder what’s really behind them.</p>
<p data-start="1407" data-end="1474">Each room has its own personality, and trust me—so do the guests.</p>
<h3 data-start="1481" data-end="1518">Meet the Author (That’s Me!)</h3>
<p data-start="1519" data-end="1792">Hi, I’m <strong data-start="1527" data-end="1537">Debora</strong>, lover of cozy mysteries, animal sidekicks, and coffee or tea strong enough to fuel a full chapter rewrite.<br data-start="1632" data-end="1635" />Writing book 1 has been pure joy—blending heartwarming community, slow-burn suspense (and a blooming romance), and a dash of humor into a world I can’t wait to share with you.</p>
<p data-start="1794" data-end="1928">If you love <strong data-start="1806" data-end="1869">small towns, clever clues, and comfort with a hint of chaos</strong>, you’re going to feel right at home in Beacon Harbor and at the Compass Rose B&amp;B!</p>
<h3 data-start="1935" data-end="1972">What to Expect in the Series</h3>
<p data-start="1973" data-end="1987">You’ll find:</p>
<ul data-start="1988" data-end="2248">
<li data-start="1988" data-end="2056">
<p data-start="1990" data-end="2056">A strong, relatable heroine who’s not afraid to snoop politely <img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/17.0.2/72x72/2615.png" alt="☕" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /></p>

<li data-start="2057" data-end="2118">

</li>
<li data-start="2181" data-end="2248">
<p data-start="2183" data-end="2248">A setting you’ll want to check into—minus the murder, of course <img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/17.0.2/72x72/1f642.png" alt="🙂" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /></p>

</ul>
<p data-start="2250" data-end="2355">Book 1 launches <strong data-start="2266" data-end="2282">January 2026</strong>, and I’m spilling clues and behind-the-scenes peeks all the way there.</p>
