APPLE STEVE JOBS IS NO MORE...

Steve Jobs... the founder of apple... the maverick.....is no more. Yes, its hard to digest to many apple fans ... but its true. Steve jobs who is fighting for life, even didn't attended the latest iPhone 4s release... died.

Steve Jobs, the Apple co-founder who resigned from the company in the mid-1980s and returned a decade later to make Apple one of the most successful technology companies in the world, has died.

Jobs had been struggling with his health for the last several years. In 2004 he underwent surgery to treat a rare form of pancreatic cancer. He returned to work soon after, but in early 2009 took six months off to treat what he called a "hormone imbalance" that made him appear gaunt and pale. During that leave he underwent a liver transplant.

Early this year he took another, indefinite leave of absence to "focus on my health," as he put it, and on Aug. 24 he announced his resignation as CEO, with Chief Operating Officer Tim Cook taking over and Jobs elected board chairman, a position he held until his death.

"We are deeply saddened to announce that Steve Jobs passed away today," Apple's Board of Directors said Wednesday in a statement. "Steve's brilliance, passion and energy were the source of countless innovations that enrich and improve all of our lives. The world is immeasurably better because of Steve."

Cook on Wednesday sent this email to Apple employees:

"Team,

I have some very sad news to share with all of you. Steve passed away earlier today.

Apple has lost a visionary and creative genius, and the world has lost an amazing
human being. Those of us who have been fortunate enough to know and work with Steve have lost a dear friend and an inspiring mentor. Steve leaves behind a company that only he could have built, and his spirit will forever be the foundation of Apple.

We are planning a celebration of Steve’s extraordinary life for Apple employees that will take place soon. If you would like to share your thoughts, memories and condolences in the interim, you can simply email rememberingsteve@apple.com.

No words can adequately express our sadness at Steve’s death or our gratitude for the opportunity to work with him. We will honor his memory by dedicating ourselves to continuing the work he loved so much."

HOW TO GET FACEBOOK'S NEW TIMELINE EARLY

In F8, yesterday Mark has show the entire new conceptualization of the Facebook. He introduces new Timeline, a different view of the profiles of user. He also stated that it tells your life story.

But when we login to the facebook time line page, it still shows " we will get back you soon when we are ready". Here is how to activate it.

Click on the link here. Dont worry! its a facebook app page from developers.facebook.com site.
Click on the link that states "Create new App". Give a name to your app and a name to the namespace, no matter what you give, it takes. and agree for the terms and conditions. be sure your account is already verified with Phone or Credit card.
Clear the captcha and then you are taken to your new apps' settings screen (if Facebook doesn’t put you there automatically hit the Edit App button on the top right). Next, click on Open Graph link in the left column and define an action for your new app on the right pane. You can enter whatever you like; I wrote watch on the first field and chose video from the drop-down menu on the next one. Click "Get Started."
