The club heads/shafts/grips appear to be of decent quality, and should provide a consistent base to learn. The grips are not too skinny or hard, and will provide good feel, without having to hold too firmly.

In the case of these clubs, most of the grips were out of alignment, so that if you lined up based on the grip, the face is either a little open or a little closed. Not a big deal since the kid needs to learn to grip based on alignment of the head at address, and not simply trust a marking on the grip. Texan Classics Junior Golf Club Set w/Stand Bag Ages 4-8: The quality of the clubs are so good and the bag is just what we expected.

These clubs are fantastic. They say they're for age 4-8 but we'd say 5-8 as they are a little big for my 4.5 year old who is in the 95% percentile for height. The clubs are made of graphite and the driver is titanium so they are really light. It was an excellent driver to mess around on the driving range.

Needless to say, very good quality, the bag is very nice thats included, and all for 50 bucks. Note that the bag has a double stand, very handy, and back pack padded straps too. Such a deal. The driver has a cover and so does the bag (with snaps and zipper) 5 clubs in all (3 driver, putter, 5,7,9).

You can easily spend over 100 bucks for other name clubs but these clubs do the job. If you are looking to buy clubs for your kid who is just beginning, don't think twice. I've only hit 70-80 balls so far but I like it. I bought the RH, 10.5 degree, Senior flex. It took 10-20 balls to figure out (I'm still figuring it out) but I'm managing to hit it consistently 190-210 yards (that's good for me) and down the middle. I think it's a good looking driver. This club is definitely a confidence builder and it must be forgiving because my drives are much straighter than my 3 or 5 wood. Dunlop Mens Vision Woods/Irons Set Closeout: These clubs are perfect for beginners as it is the "total package" and if you're just learning, the hybrids aren't tricky because you didn't use a 3/4 iron much. Awesome set. They are well made and I've been able to shoot accurate shots consistently. Clubs are very much an individual thing as some golfers want distance, some want more accuracy, some like them heavier, etc. It's difficult to say if these are right for most people, but I can say that I like them.

Think of it this way. They are 300x better than the stuff made in the early beginnings of golf. It's not the clubs that make you play good. I am trying to learn the game, and I wanted a relatively inexpensive set of clubs with which to do this. I recognized the Dunlop brand, as opposed to the lesser known bargain brand clubs, so I decided to buy this set.

I have been very satisfied with this set in the month in which I've owned them. I've played one 18 hole round, and I've made half a dozen trips or so to the driving range, using these clubs exclusively. They feel very solid, and I've been very satisfied with them.

The only things I needed to buy in addition to this set to play comfortably were some recycled balls, a golf glove, and a bag of tees. This set provides everything else. Note that it is not a hard case, so you should still put a trash can and/or laundry/towels over/around the club heads. It barely fits over my driver lengthwise. There is a lot of room inside the bag sideways, but that is easily tightened up with the constrictor belts. The bottom half of the back is rigid, with rails for grinding up and over curbs and good-sized wheels.

Also great value for the price. My Great Big Bertha driver fits with no problem. Can't go wrong if you just cannot see spending 4 times as much for a golf glove. Great for the occasional golf traveler.

Caddy Dadd Constrictor performed quite well. Lots of pockets and space for your clubs, as well as room for gifts to bring back home.
