Are these the things that are making the state of Punjab famous now days?

I don’t think so!

The state where the roots of GREEN REVOLUTION were laid, which then changed the lives of the people of Punjab and made India stand on her feet in terms of the indigenous quantity of food grains, is now just making headlines for the extent to which the disease of drug has tighten its grip on it.

DRUG ABUSE

What is drug?

Drug is just a medical condition which makes individuals habitual to it. It is just a dead trap which when encountered with is a very difficult thing to leave. And the state of Punjab is in the trap of this deadly disease.

You know who are getting affected by it; it is the youth, the future generation of our country. According to a report at this time more than 70% of the youth is under the influence of this drug menace. It is leaving no one from students to job seekers everyone is being a victim of this. But, a question arises how did it get to such a huge extent.

You would be shocked to know that it is just the result of few factors and they are:

Depression
Unemployment
Addiction
Influence of the entertainment industry
Loneliness
Feeling of inferiority /superiority
Social disconnect
Peer pressure and many more

Why is it effecting the youth more than anyone else?

We all know that adolescence is a period that changes the total perspective towards life; it may have a good effect or a bad one. It depends on what sort of a relationship does your child has with you. I want to tell that in today’s world the innocent child is exposed to so many things that simply by being a mother or father you can’t take proper care of your child, you need to put in more efforts because the child is already under great confusion what is happening with his/her body. There is an ocean of emotions, desires and confusions. And these all push a child into the trap of drug cycle.

I expect a shocking reaction from you after knowing that these supplies of drugs are made from across the border and according to the sources mainly these are manufactured in Afghanistan and are sent via Pakistan and China. Firstly, they are sold at a cheaper rate and are described as magical healer, one that takes you into a fantasy world; so as to make an individual habitual of it and later these innocent individuals get the addiction of this deadly disease. I don’t understand why they want to destroy the youths of our country; what hidden motive do they have? Pakistan just wants to destroy India in every aspect and for that thing the so-called powerful china is providing them with funds.

There have been many cases where the addicted victims have committed suicide either due to not getting the required amount of drugs or just in hallucination. Many reports show that in the effect of drugs individuals have committed many crimes like theft, assaults, suicide, etc., many families have been ruined and many parents have lost their children in the influence of this deadly disease. There is a shocking revelation that on a daily basis drugs worth Rs. 2000 crores are smuggled

DRUG ABUSE

Many measures are being taken to combat this disease: the government has opened many relief centres, but no one actually knows what is going on inside them. The government is taking every possible steps that they can; they have even made it compulsory to have a dope test before getting a government job in any sector in Punjab.

You know only the government can’t do anything. If we really want our country to get from it, then we should emphasis our centre to take some revolutionary steps like other countries.

I want to end it with a question: ARE WE PAYING A PRICE FOR OUR GENUINITY??

Politics has been a well-known name since human being has gained consciousness. Because whenever people get together, there occurs a desire, a desire of superiority over others. One wants to rule others, he wants other to follow his orders. So, politics has its roots since humans were hunter and gatherers or it can be before that also.

The rich history is the earthiness of the dirty game of politics. The world has witnessed many wars because of the desire of power.

So,for a normal person like you and me “politics is just power”,which each and every one of us wants in some field or the other.

The yudh of Mahabharata was fought just for the reason of power and every Indian to what extent the dirty and inhuman game of politics was played. At that time also, it was a conspiracy of an evil mind who are just wearing the faces of good humans.

In Mahabharata, the whole bloodshed of Kurukshetra was just because of shakuni mama’s desire for power and the egoistic approach of kauravas. There also innocents were sacrificed and what we see today is also similar to it.

So, you see the scenarios has not changed much and it is possible that it may become more worse than before.

If we talk about the politics of today, then the verdicts made by the leaders of today are sometimes an insult to the founders of good governance. Earlier also there were leaders that were life changing persons for the society. In an era where everything was measured in terms of land that you have conquered 'The great Ashoka' was a leader who changed the lives of the ' Dhamma' (Dharma). The great Buddha and Mahavira were the leaders which stood as an inspiration to the society, without any power, they made people follow their paths.

In modern Indian history also, there had been individuals which were the saviours
Of the society. We can never forget, the great leader"Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi", because of him only today we are wing in an independent India.

But you know being living in the birth of such great individuals, the modern say politicians or just running before money and the proves are the statement made by them and one such statement is:

It is my sincere request to our leaders, please don't make such remakes that might disturb the peace of our country.

But a good point is that there are some sensitive leaders also that are just working for the development of humanity.

We want more leaders like that who can understand the critical condition of all the sections.

MARRIAGE- A SACRED BOND

But, what is the real meaning of marriage?

It is a sacred bonding that takes place between two different individuals during the auspicious ceremony. The basic motive of marriage is the UNITY OF THE DIVINE SOUL.

From the early times only there has been no such auspicious bond like marriage. This bond is the sole witness of the fact that even unknown individuals can happily and fruitfully drive the tiers of life. It addresses that trust can build an entirely different abode for an individual.

But I don’t get a point that with such a pure feeling how are such materialistic things involved in it, see what I want to signify is the purpose or the act of dowry.

From where did this orthodox system of dowry came and how did this get associated with marriage?

It is believed that during the rules of kings and queens, when their daughters used to get married, the essential things that were required like jewellery, clothes, daasis (servants), etc., were sent along with them to protect them from any difficulties that they might face in the new environment. But slowly and gradually the act or the ritual which was just associated with the marriages of kings and queens now came in view in the lower strata’s also and this was the time when dowry a word which was not that much famous came in front of the people which now is one of the biggest problems prevailing in our country.

Now you might wonder, okay it is acceptable that it started like this but how did it took such a devastating outlook, how did a woman getting married get associated with all the other materialistic things?

Like a child follows what his/her parents do, it was expected at that time that the dwellers of a kingdom should follow what their king did. So, this act became famous, everyone used to give some of their belongings with their daughters who were tied under this sacred bonding of marriage and this was given the name of ‘DAAN’ (donations) which a father has to give it to her daughter as the ritual demanded. But as the wheel of the time moved further, men were regarded as superior and women were related to the lower sections. This was the time when a ritual took the face of discrimination and sufferings.

Later on the families of groom started demanding goods from the bride’s side; from clothes to jewellery they needed everything because the girls were considered as a burden on their parents and were sometimes thought as a bane on the family. So it was supposed and was very much necessary to get rid of a girl. Using this fact dowries were demanded with an open mouth and if anyone dared to say no, his daughter will not be married to anyone and further the family might be abandoned by the whole community.

You know like a child throws a toy and brings a new one same started happening with the women. From that point, marriages were started to be treated like business.

You know the greed of the people grew to such an extent with the passage of time that after bringing a huge amount of cash, jewellery, furniture and clothes the groom’s family never got satisfied, for each and every event either a function or a ceremony they wanted their daughter-in-law to bring them gifts from her parent’s. If her parent can’t afford to gift her family, the girl has to face the torture and they behave such carelessly and with such brutality that the victims sometimes do not have words to define but their wounds narrate the story of the cruel behaviour that they must have faced. India has witnessed and is witnessing thousands of cases of domestic violence out of which the majority are because of the reason of dowry.

These greedy families either have a heart that is of stone or they do not have a heart at all. You only tell how someone can push a pregnant woman from the second floor of the house just for the sake of money. This all is happening in front of us and what are we doing? It is that either we have closed our eyes and are just ignoring it or we are just maintaining the silence and are witnessing this crime. You know it is rightly said: You are a criminal if you witness a crime and be silent about it.

We may think that we have made it to moon and even to the mars and in future may conquer all other planets also, if you term this all as development then you are wrong, and I would even say that you are absolutely wrong. Till the time all such criminality is prevalent; no country or nation can fulfill the definition of progress.

I would just like to make a request that please do treat others the way you

treat yourselves.

Just don’t behave like animals if you have taken birth in a human skin!!

THE NEED TO CHANGE THE SYSTEM OF EDUCATION

“Education is a basic right; every child should get it”

This is what we usually get to hear at rallies, speeches, in debates and where not. But if we think practically is it really a basic necessity and if it is so then how much efforts are put in for this basic necessity by us and by our government? Do we really bother what is going around us? I don’t think anyone of us has that much of time and energy to waste out like that. But you know if we want a change we need to change our perspective first!

If you compare the level of education of today and that of five or ten years back, there is a huge and a shocking difference and believe me the result is no good. Not taking the bigger statistics we just make a study on the ground level, it will surely point out that education levels have deteriorated to such an extent that now the students have to suffer. Instead of providing quality education the parents, the schools, the teachers and the whole system is just running before the mysterious word ‘marks’.

This word has just brainwashed the minds of everyone from playgroup till class 12^th the children are just under the burden of some so called books in which they are just taught facts no development of brain takes place which is the main motive of education. Seeing a child carrying a bag heavier than his own weight is no new sight. With their mental health their physical health is also weakening. Earlier children used to be always involved in some physical activity but now they just avoid it and even if they are given some free time they just have a haunting word going in their mind “THE HOMEWORK”.

But these children are luckier than others as they still get some education because a huge part of our society is still deprived of it, they still cant make to go to school. Conditions in some part of our country is so poor that even the kids have to work to support their family and sometimes even beg and this act of begging just destroys each and every talent they have. They never get to know about the outside world and the real meaning of life is always hidden from them.

You know the shocking revelation is that this all happens in front of us and we pay no attention to it, but when a murder, a rape, a theft or any other gruesome activity occurs in our society it is we who are found shouting slogans, conducting candle marches and blaming the government and its tiers. From my point of view we should have much more sensitivity towards our act and what we really are supposed to do.

So, i think it is essential for each and every individual to at least get some basic education because this basic education is like the counselling which helps to differentiate between the right and the wrong path and also leads to have a mature mind.

THE INHUMAN CONDITIONS OF JAMMU AND KASHMIR

Lofty mountains, beautiful lakes, savouring foods and sweet and decent people.

The Kashmir valley is so beautiful that the view of the valley is breath taking!!

But you know this beauty is under threat since the partition of two countries: India and Pakistan have taken place.

At that time a third party disrupted the harmony between a nation and made two harmony which now are seen as enemies.

You know whenever two people quarrel about something, the third one is there to take advantage of it.

And this is what that happened with partition there was a huge blood bath, hundred and tens of thousand people were killed in this communal violence. The condition became worse, a huge part of the society was displaced, people needed food and urgent medical attention. Perhaps, the elected governments of both the country of that time worked with efficiency at that time.

But somewhere or the other hatred grew in some sections and is still going on. Both the countries want to occupy the parts of Kashmir, no one either bothers where do people want to live.

Did they ever want a division in their homeland?

From the time of partition till today there are people that signify that terrorism has eaten the roots of Pakistan. Pakistan follows what their army commands.

It has been very often when the conditions between the two countries have been detoriated. You know, no one is getting anything out of it only we are losing and outside the border.

The people are tortured, school vans are captured and what not. The people living at the borders of both the country are always haunted by fear. They never know when their life can come to an end. But you know, what is inspiring and maintaining it is that the people have hopes. After all this violence in their surroundings, they still have will to study, to change their lives and bring their families in a stable condition.

They have the feeling of oneness among them. The people at lower levels have no issues within, but it’s the “Powerful ones” that are creating differences.

You know what the mountain teaches us, it teaches us to Stand erect and face all the problems while having the ability to be brave.

This is the quality that the people of mountains have but the people of Jammu and Kashmir and Pakistan are losing it. They are like the puppets in the hands of the elite.

You know if the natizens are given a chance to take a decision they will take the best decision for themselves because:

  It is not just a word, it is an emotion, a feeling which any human and even an animal can understand if he wants to.

Why the love b/w two individuals are

differentiated on the basis of

caste, creed and colour?

Not only certain criterions are laid by the society to fell in love with an individual but also one need to them and if not obeyed, the result is not hidden.

One or the other day we see adult boys and girls are beaten in the daylight. Whether they are beaten or sometimes even are brutally murdered by the so called “Saviours of the culture” and these saviours are not the human from the third world. They are one among us. They can be our brothers, fathers, uncles and even friends.

If a couple dares to love, they have to face every torture that these saviours can provide and if by mistake they take a tough decision and get married then what their future has is just tough times.
There are many cases where the legally married couples keep on running (rescuing themselves) for months and even years. Their families chase them and threaten them and the couple have no help from anywhere.

If we provide quality education and good moral values to our children, then there will be mutual harmony among all and if the future generation understands this aspect then, there will be no problem like the past and the present.

AN EPIDEMIC IN KERALA

No one would have ever thought that this sought of condition would prevail in the city which is famous for its backwaters. Kerala is one of the most famous tourist destinations in India which is affected by a massive flood. Each and every district of Kerala has faced a loss of life and property during this natural disaster and is still facing.

Kerala is submerged under water as all the 5 shutters of the IDUKKI DAM were opened for the first time after 26 years which has thrown the lives of people of Kerala out of gear.

The conditions are so worse that there is scarcity of everything- food, clean water, shelter and clothes. The DEATH TOLL HAS RISEN TO 329 and still the counting is going on. All the forces are working together whether it is the Indian air force, the Indian army or the NDRF, all are working day and night to rescue the people from affected region. Every school, government office and the religious places has become a refugee camp where people are provided with all the basic needs.

The difficulties are caused not only by a flood but also by the landslides and the broken road lines that are the so called effects of this flood. Even the airports are waterlogged and the flights are cancelled and now the Koch airport which is the naval base of air India will be open for commercial operations from Monday. The government is providing whatever help that can be done by them and the malayalis that are settled outside India are also helping the state government by providing funds. SUCH MORE FUNDS ARE NEEDED FOR THE REDEVELPMENT OF KERALA. The people of Kerala now need to start their lives from the very new beginning, whatsoever they must have gathered all their lives in now flown away with the devastating waters. NO ONE WOULD EVER WANT THIS SORT OF DISASTER TO HAPPEN WITH THEM as this not only destroys your materialistic outlook but also degrades the soul within you.

This is the first time a place like Kerala has been hit by such a drastic calamity. The destruction is so vast that even the forces are finding it difficult to help each and every citizen of Kerala and to the citizens of Kerala the fishermen of their areas are appearing as the omnipresent. They are helping in every way they can, they are using their own resources to reach out to people where the forces cant. They are using their own boats to help people travel to refugee camps. Till now 38,000 people have been rescued and taken to 2,781 refugee camps by the forces and by the local fishermen.

They are the shining stars of your eyes. Your child is the one that gets a smile on your face even in the worst of the situation. They give you HOPE to LIVE, but what if your child himself loses his will to LIVE?

You might not believe this, but it is within our society where 53% of the children get sexually abused in one way or the other. According to the 2016 survey, more boys are sexually assaulted then girl.

Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Gujarat were the states with highest records of sexual crimes.

We always see strangers with an eagle eye. When it comes to our children but according to the studies, the child is more at risk with family members, relatives and neighbors. In most cases the criminals are uncles’ grandfather, brothers, colleagues and neighbors.

In 2012, a law was passed by the central ministry to protect the children under 18 years of age from any sort of sexual, abuse. It came to be known as the protection of children from sexual offences (POSCO) Act (2012)”.

Under the POSCO Act, criminals and perpetrator are given necessary punishment.

But before 2012, there was no law that could punish a criminal under sexual assaultation of a child. The criminals used to move freely around us.

In a case of Mumbai, a 7-years girl was assaulted by her relatives (who was 55-years old at that time). He touched her at every place which was inappropriate. The girl was so afraid that she couldn’t move even her finger and just stood like a stone. After one hour when he finished, her lips were swollen and bleeding.

CHILD ABUSE

In another case, at the mere age of 6 a boy was assaulted by his uncle and his friends and to that extent that he recalls if he would have been a girl he would have been pregnant. This assaultation continued for ten long years. During that course he would bleed. He tried to tell his parents but didn’t have words to describe.

In an another case a two months old girl was sexually assaulted by her grandfather.

You know, every child wants to enjoy his/her day of childhood but the addiction and criminal mindedness of some not only spoils their childhood but also their lives.

Because a child is never that much mature to handle those sort of crimes and mostly alone. As we will be the ones who would not believe them.

Just remember one thing, no child is going to make fun out of those topics.

These were the instances when a child undergoes a crime but you know even if a case comes in front of us, A CHILD IS ONCE AGAIN RAPED!!

You know how?

Through the police verification, through the court hearings and procedures. somewhere inside, he becomes like the broken pieces of glass that can never be one again.

So take care of your child be with him/her whenever he/she needs you and tell them to

He served THRICE as the PRIME MINISTER OF INDIA(in 1996, 1998 and 1999). He was the founder of the Bharatiya Jana Sangh and was the First Prime Minister not belonging to the INDIAN NATIONAL CONGRESS. He was felicitated with awards like PADMA VIBHUSHAN(1992) and BHARAT RATNA(2015). He deserved all this felicitations. He was a bold leader who shaped the future of india . in 1998, under his guidance the nuclear tests were done on the soil of our country, it somewhat created a tense environment but on a long term move the whole country acknowledged his move and was with him. His tem saw many ups and downs :

KARGIL WAR- An armed conflict between india and Pakistan , which continued for long 3 months. 500 indian soldiers sacrificed their lives but we won our Indian territory.

In another one, ate his wife’s(pregnant with another baby girl) whole face so horribly that he had destroyed her whole face.

Only a mother can understand what pain they must have underwent.

I just want to ask a question what was their crime?

Just they were pregnant with baby girls and not boys!!

ARE WE REALLY INDEPENDENT?

On this day we ere freed out of the black chains of the British empire. So as to give us a fruitful life, a life which is rid of slavery!

But did this actually happen??

Do we really are free from being slaves? I think all of you must agree, it is a clear NO and just a NO!!

We are still caught in the chins of poverty, inequality, racism and what not?

The condition around is just so pitiful that are freedom fighters may not have thought off...

A child or a girl feels afraid to go out alone, the elders are afraid, the working section is afraid and even a school going child is afraid.

What is the reason behind this afraidness?

The main reason of being afraid is the SOCIETY.....

This rohtang pass is a high mountain pass on the Himalaya eastern pir panjal range .It is a connection between the kullu valley and the lahul and split valleys of himachal Pradesh .It is at on elevation of 13,051ft.

It is very dangerous pass and is known to show some unpredictable features like sudden snowstorm and blizzards. It is the oldest and most frequented pass in the region.

Ethiopia's Amhara's is a place that is not well known but the women there are suffering a lot.

You know it is even not right to call them women because these are small girls who get married at a tender age of eleven shocking right.

Some of them were married at the age of seven also. They loose their childhood and their hopes.

At the age when they have to play , study and know about the world , They have to do household chores. their husband's force them in the bed.They cry for help , for mother , for father but no one is there to rescue them.

Some of them get early pregnancies which results either in premature birth or their death. They have to look after their children, bear the violent nature of their husbands and they have the burden of the house on their shoulder's

We all may feel depressed after knowing this but what these is called women have is a spark of hope in their eyes and you won't imagine what this hope is for.

The hope is that their daughter's won't end the same like them .

The state of BIHAR is making headlines for its so called “HORROR HOMES”, these houses are not occupied by any supernatural power but are surrounded by DIRTY MINDS.........

The girls at a state-run shelter in Bihar’s Musaffarpur, were sedated, raped, beaten up and threatened each and every night!

Is this the punishment of being a girl?

The reports revealed that 34 out of 42 girls were sexually assaulted. There are statements which signify that the husband of Bihar’s Child Protection Officer was involved in the assault.

When the girls are not safe in a government run shelter, what else can we expect?
