Usain Bolt the new face of Puma

Usain Bolt will be the face of a new line of Puma fragrances for both men and women. The line dubbed Animagical is set to debut in June. Puma, known more for their sportswear, already has seven fragrance lines available; one of which that is named after Bolt’s home country Jamaica.

According to Proctor & Gamble Bolt is the first celebrity to represent a Puma fragrance. I am still not convinced on the name, I think he should have been the face of Jamaica. What do you think? Do you want to smell like the worlds fastest man?

NARS launches Runway, Real Way, NARS way project

There’s no more guessing and failing at how to recreate runway looks produced at some of the hottest runway shows like Thakoon or 3.1 Phillip Lim. The elite cosmetic company NARS, has launched “Runway, Real way, NARS way” Project on Facebook and Youtube to show women how to get the NARS look.

The informative videos are concise , easy to follow and meant to show consumers how to get wearable versions in only a few steps. Everything that you need is detailed including, colors, tools and how to apply. It can’t get any simpler.

Not your average Choo’s. These catwalk sandals with “light up detail” can’t be missed, and will definitely turn heads. At $2495 – they should do something a little more than the average shoe in my opinion. As my Grandma would say ” They better feed you for that price”

Liberty of London for Target Now Available

The liberty of London for Target collection is now in stores. I forgot all about it until I saw the display at my local Target. Unlike the JPG (which wasn’t even available at the Target I went to) this collection was fully stocked. I didn’t have time to give the collection a thorough inspection, so I can’t speak on it’s quality yet. I am in lust with all things paisley and will likely be adding a piece (or three) to my wardrobe.

Liberty of London is doing big things this year. In addition to the clothing collaboration they have also released a line of home goods at Target, and a Make up collection for MAC is available now.

A bedazzler

Tip: The mini bedazzler will work best for getting the studs in on the fingers, or alternately, you could fold the prongs over and glue the studs on. If you’re handy with a sewing machine or aren’t afraid to pull out the seam ripper, you could deconstruct the gloves, apply the studs and resew! Let me know if you try it.

Trend Alert: Stylish sweat pants?

There was a thin line between casual chic and well…… sweat pants. Recently designers like L.A.M.B and Rag & Bone have erased the line by sending the weekend gym only attire down the runway as fashionable everyday wear (no yoga class required). I am not a big fan of this trend, and if done wrong can easily translate as: I don’t give a **** about what I’m wearing. Trust me it is easy to get this trend wrong, but if you are so inclined to wear this out, here are a few tips to keep you from looking like you rolled out of bed and just threw on the first pair of (expensive) sweat pants you saw.

Go fitted with your shirt or pair with a chic blazer
Heels – heels make anything look on purpose, and your fashion sense is less likely to be questioned. Wearing athletic shoes quickly will turn your ensemble into gym wear
Glam up your accessories, and don’t be afraid to pair with a belt as seen below
Pair with a fur, because apparently this is extra comfy, warm and acceptable. j/k

OK, so this isn’t exactly an outfit of the day for me as I did not actually wear it. I was rummaging through my closet and I came across these True Religion jeans that I’ve had forever, and I immediately thought of this recent photo of Kim Kardashian, and decided to recreate the look using items I already had.

I have owned these jeans for at least four years and 5lbs ago. The last few time I cleaned out my closet, these almost made the cut list each time. Ripped, light, boot cut denim doesn’t exactly fit into my style personality at the moment, and hasn’t for the past few years. I decided to keep them because I knew at some point distressed denim would be in again. What I didn’t know is if I would be on board, but I knew I didn’t want to buy another pair, so I kept them.

Here is another look Kim wore that would be easy to recreate with these jeans.
