• Go fitted with your shirt or pair with a chic blazer
• Heels –  heels make anything look on purpose, and your fashion sense is less likely to be questioned. Wearing athletic shoes quickly will turn your ensemble into gym wear
• Glam up your accessories, and don’t be afraid to pair with  a belt as seen below
• Pair with a fur, because apparently this is extra comfy, warm and acceptable. j/k

I have owned these jeans for at least four years and 5lbs ago. The last few time I cleaned out my closet, these almost made the cut list each time. Ripped, light, boot cut denim doesn’t exactly fit into my style personality at the moment, and hasn’t for the past few years. I decided to keep them because I knew at some point distressed denim would be in again. What I didn’t know is if I would be on board, but I knew I didn’t want to buy another pair, so I kept them.

 Here is another look Kim wore that would be easy to recreate with these jeans.

Assuming good quality, the line offers a great variety of styles and cuts that will carry you into next fall. I am still not overly exited about any one item, and I am completely turned off by the tattoo print top and leggings, but I think there is enough variety for everyone to find something.

Glamour Whore brings you DSquared2’s AMAZING Fall 2010 Collection shown at Milan Fashion Week

This is NO help for me! I am 5′5 and my torso is 3 inch longer than my legs, but I am very short waisted! My hips are so high that my waist hits right below my breasts (which are proportionally big too, making my waist even shorter).

I can’t find ANY advice for my body shape:
 - short legs(31′)
 - long torso(34′)
 - short waist
 - measurements: 35-25.5-36

Any help?

Hi Odie, Thanks for you question.

I think what you are saying is that your natural waistline is high (less distance between your ribs and hips), coupled with proportionally large breast. Please correct me if I am wrong.

You will find your most flattering fit with the following:

• Vertical lines and darker colors on your upper body.
• Bypass your waist with longer jackets
• V-neck tops. This will help to separate and define your bust.
• Avoid cropped tops or anything shorter than you hip bone.
• Consider wearing a minimizing bra.
• Avoid tucking in your shirts, and if you must ,choose a top and bottom that are similar in color. 
• Match your belt to your bottom, contrasting the belt will create a horizontal line, which you don’t want.
• A pair of heels (especially a nude or color matching your pant) will be your best friend when needing to elongate your legs.
• Ensure your pants are tailored and avoid wide leg and cuffed pants.

I’ve decided to reevaluate my daily routine and find an extra hour to 30 minutes to dedicate to me. It’s time for my life to be more productive. My most productive days are not always my busiest, they are the days when everything works together. I don’t know exactly where I am going to get that time from, but wish me luck.

On top of everything else I am doing, I am considering changing the blog design again. I’m not completely happy with it, and while normally this is a task I would take upon myself, I think it in my best interest to hire a professional. I am a firm believer in outsourcing.

On another note, the Facebook fan page is almost near 100 fans! The accessories left a little to be desired, but fit perfectly with the theme of the show. Suede thigh high boots, ostrich totes, and lace leggings are nothing new this season, but I still want them all.

This past Friday I was getting ready for a small networking event when my all time favorite matte black eye shadow (MAC carbon) was found crushed & crumbled to death. I opened it so fast (just as I had done millions of times before) it spilled all over my sink, floor & clothes.

Of course I immediately took to twitter to vent, where @StyleNBeautyDoc and @arTIAstry graciously listened. Danielle (thestyleandbeautydoctor.com) suggested that I put the fragments into a jar to use as a loose powder, but it was all over the place, and just easier to clean it up & trash it. I then went on a mad search through my stash for a replacement and stumbled upon a NYX trio that had a matte black in it; and what do I do? drop it.

Luckily for me, the grey shadow is the one that crumbled, so I wasn’t devastated. Instead of dumping it, my first instinct was to just press it back into the pot, and IT WORKED! I know that is pretty self explanatory, but here is exactly what I did.

1. Gather all the framents back into the pan
2. Covering my finger with plastic I pressed the shadow back together, and
3.  Cleaned around the edges with a Q-tip dipped in alcohol.

Or course it wasn’t as smooth as the others, but saved nonetheless. There are other methods to salvage broken makeup, but this is by far the easiest. I wish I could have saved carbon, but the NYX black is very pigmented and performed very well. I would definitely recommend it as a good matte black shadow.
