There are a lot of “hot” colors for Spring, it’s always all about color. This season we’re seeing MINT! It’s a light and airy color that works well with white, beige, navy, and pale pink.

Introduced in 1972, the wrap dress is still a “must have” piece for every girl’s wardrobe. It’s such an easy style, an easy outfit to pull together in seconds.

I wore one last night, my boyfriend and I had dinner. At the end of the evening he pulled me close and said “that is the sexiest dress I’ve ever seen” = success!

The Sequel

I was insanely happy with my NAKED (the original) palette. The arrangement of colors suited me perfectly. I still use it everyday.

So, when I saw NAKED 2 I was excited. I have to say, I still haven’t purchased it. Honestly, it’s really only a matter of time.

At first I didn’t want to buy it, because I already had the original NAKED. Do I really need NAKED 2?

Well, I was in ULTA the other day and stared at it for awhile. Hmmm… should I plop down $50 on another eye shadow palette?
I walked out, and have been thinking about the colors ever since. NAKED 2 seems to have warmer colors, richer metallics, and a deep black for lining the lash. It could be the perfect Summer palette.

She’s Got Legs

Mila Kunis looked so great in Friends with Benefits. She had a cool, easy style. I think the first way to get the look is to grab a T by Alexander Wang ruched skirt. That is the starting point, and the other pieces shouldn’t be too tight fitting – they should graze your body. It’s relaxed, yet with the right shoes can be the perfect city look.

Scantily Clad?

I don’t think so! I’m not comfortable dressing up in some silly get-up on Valentine’s Day. I mean… I guess I would if my “husband” really wanted me to, BUT it’s not for me.

I think it’s so much more sensual to slip into a beautiful chemise. Plus, then you may actually wear it again. How often are you really going to want to put tassels on your nipples again? Just sayin …

Flirty & Feminine

Short shorts are more flattering this season. They are higher waisted, and more full in the body. It’s a softer style that will work on more body types. With the higher waisted shorts, be sure to tuck in your shirt and enhance your waist.

Beach Chic

Short Shorts also come casual this season. Alice & Olivia have a great design that will work well for everyday. They are certainly short, but still more flattering than other super shorts in the past. With a structured short, keep the other pieces relaxed. I’m loving the linen mixed with sand colors and grounded in navy.

My Boyfriend…

Surprisingly, my boyfriend jeans are from the Gap. I tried them on thinking I wouldn’t like them, but they look pretty cute. I also didn’t want to commit $200 on a style I wasn’t sure I could make work. Guess what…? They work!

How I see it

I love how the jeans look rolled with high-heel booties. Since the jeans are a bit boyish and baggy – add in some feminine pieces.
