Seriously, what’s not to hate?

Giselle is one of the most famous models in the world. She has an insane figure, an incredibly successful career, a cute husband, and now a beautiful baby.

So…

How did she preserve “the body” during her pregnancy?

I did kung fu up until two weeks before Benjamin was born, and yoga three days a week. I think a lot of people get pregnant and decide they can turn into garbage disposals. I was mindful about what I ate, and I gained only 30 pounds.

She seems softer now that she’s a mom. That happens to so many women, it’s lovely!

These are the things that went through my head while I was getting ready to go shooting for the first time.

safety first

I’m not really a gun toting kinda gal. Since I live in Texas now, I thought I should give it a shot.

I was in good hands, if not, expert hands.

My brother in-law, an X-marine = X-stud, showed me the ropes. He was very clear on how to be safe with a weapon, and taught us how to respect the power and danger it wielded.

• Did they finally hear our cries?
• Could the brutal torture be over?
• Can a lower heel really be just as decadent, and sexy?

I admit, I gravitate toward the 4 inch heels. They make me feel powerful, tall, statuesque, and in serious pain by the end of the night! Maybe my pain and suffering is over. Maybe I can finally wear a lower heel without looking frumpy.

the importance of a reliable trench

Sometimes, I forget how essential a trench coat is. I’ve been in the market for a stone colored, double breasted trench for about 4 years. The one I want is a fortune, but I saw one the other day that was pretty great. I looked at it, and put it back.

I thought to myself:

It’s beautiful outside – why waste money on a trench?

Well, it has poured for the last 2 days. I’m still not going to buy the trench, but I’ve officially been reminded of their significance in a well rounded wardrobe.

The trench coat I’m wearing is from Zara (a few seasons ago). It’s a steel color, which goes with everything. I love to pop a bright colored scarf under my coat, it helps to liven up a rainy day.
