I am a very visual person. I love looking for inspiration online and literally get lost browsing through fun content. I seriously fall into a rabbit hole of image after image and site after site. It's one of my favorite ways to unwind. Pinterest, Tumblr, and Instagram are my favorite social media outlets for this reason. I love reviewing my pins or looking at my Tumblr archive. Simply looking through it all makes me happy and gets me thinking of fun ideas for future projects. I love how some of the images tend to group together perfectly like the selection above. Dribbble is another great site that I have recently been hooked on. But of course, everyday life is probably the best source. Where do you guys go to get inspired?

How fun are these pillows!

I came across these pom pom pillows from Non-Perishable Goods and instantly loved them. The pattern, the pom poms, and colors are all so fun! You can check them out here. There are a lot of fun goodies over there (like this clutch) that I am coveting.

For this week's stylish finds, I love the impact of that tray and the "Off We Go" clutch is making me want to plan a road trip down California's Hwy 1. I have done that drive before and I highly recommend that route if you've never been. Those earrings made it home with me but I got them in orange and the bag and shoes are classics that I think would enhance any outfit.

MOTHER'S DAY WEEKEND

Mother's day is this weekend so I wanted to give a little shout out to my mom (surprise! I know you are reading this). She truly is the best! This little blog might be small but (other than my dad) she has been my biggest fan from day one. She reads every post and tells me when it's good and when I need to step my game up. She takes a bunch of my outfit photos and helps me brainstorm ideas from time to time. She might be new to learning how to use a computer but managed to open a Pinterest account to follow me and she's curious about Instagram and Twitter (baby steps). I've even overheard her telling friends about the blog with so much enthusiasm that I swear she could be my spokesperson.

What I'm trying to get at is that she really puts her whole self into supporting my brother and I in whatever we do and I love her to the ends of the world for that. We have never had a lot but we also have never gone without. And most importantly we probably have had more love from her than a person could have for two (maybe three) lifetimes. I love her more than words could express and hope to one day be half as good of a mom as she is. I probably don't say it enough but even though we have our moments here and there, I couldn't have asked for anything better. Happy Mother's Day Mommy! Where would I ever be without you?

If you are like me, you have a lot of ladies in your life that you want to recognize on mother's day. I have my mom and grandmothers, aunts, and cousins. I would love to get each of them a gift but that can get expensive fast. So every year I make something for each of them. It's a little more meaningful and I like to think that if I were a mom a homemade gift would be my preference. I made these for everyone last year. I came across these DIY projects and thought they would be fun options to try. Do you guys make homemade gifts for mom? I haven't yet decided on what I'm making this year exactly so if you guys have any suggestions I'd love to hear them.

I really like rugs with a geometric pattern and I'm pretty smitten on kilim rugs (Turkish word for flat weave rug). They are so colorful and vibrant that they add instant flare to a room. I love my modern furniture so a piece like this is a great way to warm up a room and add a little balance. I could really picture it looking amazing under a dining table, don't yah think. I'm also loving this one.

The weather was hot this weekend and gave me the excuse to wear a dress. I have had this shift dress hanging in my closet for two months now waiting for the perfect opportunity to make it's debut. A nice dinner on such a warm night was just the ticket.

Lately I have been thinking of cleaning up and styling my work space. My desk is currently a drop off station covered with laundry that needs to be put away, unopened mail, and accessories used throughout the week. A basic outfit for a windy casual day...

It was very windy this past weekend and I pretty much stayed snuggled up with comfy sweats and a blanket except for when I went out for my niece's birthday party. A basic cotton shirt, skinny jeans, and a colorful scarf were perfect for the casual afternoon out.

DIY WRAPPING PAPER ART

Here's an easy DIY I did to start off my gallery wall in my room. I love patterns and thought it would be fun to make some artwork out of my favorite wrapping paper designs.

What you will need:

* I picked these up at Paper Source.

Step one: Cut wrapping paper to the size of the picture frame glass.
Step two: Frame it...super easy!!

I also added a note from Domingo into one of the frames for a special personalized touch.

Apartments in SF are tiny for what you pay. Having an extra guest room is a luxury so owning a daybed like this one that offers so much versatility is a major plus. It looks like a modern chaise lounge for day-to-day but can convert into additional sleeping when friends stay over. I'm sold!

With all the hustle and bustle of Easter, I forgot to take a proper picture of my outfit so I quickly snapped these pictures of myself yesterday. Sorry for the iphone self-portraits but that's what happens when I'm sans photographer.

A casual outfit for a casual day. Bright patterned pants and a bright lip tend to be my go to on days when my outfit doesn't require much thought.

Oh la la we are showing some leg. They look like polka dots but the pattern is much more detailed with a closer look.
