Last Friday the employment figures came out and many of the talking heads where all excited about this and touted it as a sight that things are looking up in the U.S. economy. The number that most excited them was the 30,000 drop in unemployment claims which dropped to 369,000. The unemployment number even dropped to 7.5% to 7.6%

if you go by the standard number that is used in the majority news outlets. But, this number is highly misleading as it doesn’t show those who are no longer actively looking for work after 6 months. Meanwhile of you take a look at the U6 number which covers a larger pool of prospective unemployable people the rate actually jumped up from 13.8 to 13.9%

Peter Schiff of Euro Capital Management sees the writing on the wall when it comes to the continued pearl our economy is in thanks to this continued monetary creation by the FED.

In the video above the clown who mentions that he doesn’t understand the drug addict reference when comparing the economy and the Federal Reserve’s creation of more and more money through debt. Well, if he is reading this here is the breakdown of this analogy. The Economy is the junkie whose drug of choice is the debt created dollars manufactured by the dealer known as the FED. When the initial injection of this “drug” gets the user high. But as well all know the user’s tolerance increases with each additional use. Also, the “user” ends up needing more and more of the “drug” to keep from going into withdraw.

Well, the economy is the same way. To get any movement and maintain stability of the economy the amount of money has to increase with each additional fund injection due to the diminished value of the funds. Well like a junky there are only two ways to go when this cycle starts. You can either continue to inject more and more money to avoid a crash in the short-term but their will come a point when the amount of funds needed will exceed tolerance of the market and it will cause the entire system to come crashing down like a junkie over dosing.

The more prudent approach would be to ween the junkie/economy off the drugs/increased monetary injection there by getting the patient/economy off the drugs and leading them to a clean lifestyle.

So the fact that old helicopter Ben states in the video below the gold is not money but Central banks accumulated it is bold assertion if not outright lie. Until we decide as a country and a people the 100 year Federal Reserve experiment has done nothing to stabilize the economy.  But instead put us on an economic roller coaster. We will not be able to reverse this tread and things will only get worst. So, we must do everything we can to end the Federal Reserve and get back to a Gold/silver standard required by the Constitution.

Second I want to ask everyone to contact their Senators and House Members and tell them you want to have information on food products to contain labeling informing the consumer of the GMO content of food. Third stop purchasing all foods that don’t identify GMO ingredients in them. This last one point is the most effective as the market should be the driver of change in anything as it allows the most beneficial changes without causing unforseen problems and loopholes that stem from legislation mandating such actions.

Bottom line, Nations are going bust. And the worse things get, the more desperate their tactics become. This isn’t the first time that the world has been in this position. This time is not different. So, why is this news worthy? A student being curious about how chemicals mix desires to take it upon herself to test out this experiment? Heck, I thought that was the who purpose of learning and the education system? Well, she committed an offense that is more and more common with the criminal element that inhabit our school system today.

According to school Administration this type of type of rebel activity needs to be stamped out immediately. So that expelled her from school and after calling the police decided that this was not punishment enough. In order to drive the point home they had her charged with felony counts.

Here is an account given by the administration on its actions curtsey of New Times Miami.

“Unfortunately, what she did falls into our code of conduct,” Leah Lauderdale, a spokeswoman for the district, tells Riptide. “It’s grounds for immediate expulsion.”

More specifically, Wilmot’s mini-explosion — which came after she mixed “common household chemicals” in a plastic bottle — violates Section 7.05 of the school’s conduct code, Lauderdale says, which mandates expulsion for any “student in possession of a bomb (or) explosive device… while at a school (or) a school-sponsored activity… unless the material or device is being used as part of a legitimate school-related activity or science project conducted under the supervision of an instructor.”

So even though Wilmot’s principal acknowledges that the 16-year-old wasn’t trying to hurt anyone and simply made a “bad choice,” the school’s rules said she had to be expelled.

Police, meanwhile, have charged her with possession/discharge of a weapon on school grounds and discharging a destructive device.

This wonderful mentality is all thanks to zero tolerance policies enacted by increasingly bureaucratic school administration. Why is this the case and how do we fix the problem. Well, as long as we have top down no market driven schools there is no solution to the problem. As with any public sector rules are created to cover a wide range of issues with a one solution fits all. Now no matter how open-minded and tolerant teachers and principals are they have no power to use their own judgement seeking a punishment that fits the crime.

It is similar to mandatory sentencing guidelines for crimes which don’t allow for the judge to use his/her own….well judgment in a ruling. They must follow the guidelines rigidly or risk being overturned in courts. Well, this is the same in the school’s where teachers and principles are so afraid of being fired or reprimanded they comply with the rules. In addition to individual punishment the schools have to worry about losing funding from the local, state, and more often the Federal government by not strictly adhering to a guideline or rule.

This is less a setting for free thinking and learning to think critically and more a prison system where if you step out of line it’s the hole for you!

Do you remember where you where the day it was announced Twinkies was going out of business and you would not be able to buy these delicious pillowy (yea making up words go me) treats of death again? There was a rush to scoop them up in stores and even seeing them being sold for $300 a box in some instances.

Well, my friend Judy Morris has a great article on the bankruptcy how it came about and who is really to blame for 18,000 people losing their jobs last year. No it’s not the greedy workers who wanted to keep their current pay instead of a %7 .

he nation is celebrating the rebirth of Twinkie.  The defunct and bankrupt company has been resurrected from the deathbed of bankruptcy.  United Liberty, a free market website, is ecstatic.

Twinkie is Making a Comeback Without Big Labor

It seemed like the Twinkie was done for at the end of the last year. Due to high-labor costs and a union unwilling to make concessions to end a strike, Hostess was forced to liquidate its assets, including the spongy, creme-filled snack. But the Wall Street Journal notes that the Twinkie and other sweet snacks will be make a comeback July — and labor unions won’t have any influence:

The company that bought the Twinkie, HoHo and Ding Dong brands out of bankruptcy is gearing up to reopen plants and hire workers, but it won’t be using union labor.

Those evil labor unions are gone.  Labor unions must be evil because Hush Bimbo himself talked about those greedy labor unions.

Ding Dong! 18,500 Hostess Jobs Dead The Rush Limbaugh Show

RUSH: Look, here I’m already being asked, “Are you gonna talk about Hostess?” Yeah, I’m gonna talk about Hostess. You know what, 18,500 people gone, Hostess Twinkies, Ding Dongs, shut down. Some people might think it’s a buy opportunity if you want to get in the Ding Dong business. But folks, if you need an indication that the Democrats will never compromise on anything, look at this. Hostess is going out of business because of unions. Now, that’s 18,500 jobs. You would think in this economy that somebody might want to show the ability to compromise if only to fool people. They won’t even compromise on this.

I think it’s good to talk about those evil and greedy labor unions, especially since Rush Limbaugh is worth $350 million and earns $40 million a year according to a website named Celebrity Networth, here.

How greedy were those evil Hostess labor unions?  According to Philly.com, senior longtime employees earned $18 an hour (40 hours a week X 52 weeks equals $37,440 a year) but that the newer workers earned about $10 a hour or $20,800 a year, here. Moreover, those greedy labor unions were forced to take an 8% pay cut which was very painful.  If Hush Bimbo took an 8% pay cut, he’d still be earning $36.8 million a year.

OMG, those greedy labor unions are trying to keep their $10-$18 an hour jobs.  Who in their right mind could possibly imagine such gargantuan greed?

Huyett went to the township office and told Bob Mohn, the sewage enforcement office, “I ain’t got nothing to clean.”

Mohn told him he would have to install a septic system.

“I said, ‘When you’re out in the woods, where do you go to the bathroom?’ ” Huyett recalled. “He couldn’t answer me.”

In an email to the newspaper, Mohn explained his enforcement action. He said Huyett’s outhouse is in a high-quality watershed and violates the state’s Act 537 sewage facilities law.

“The DEP regulations do not care whether it is one person or a family, nor does age or financial concerns make a difference,” Mohn said in the email. “The township’s responsibility is to assure the waters of the Commonwealth are not jeopardized.”
