Welcome to the Spoiler Roundup, the most comprehensive weekly spoiler wrapup on the internet. We scour the web for all the best spoilers on some of the most popular shows on the air.

This Week: 24, Army Wives, CSI: NY, Dark Blue, Desperate Housewives, Friday Night Lights, Fringe, Glee, Heroes, House, Law and Order: SVU, Lie To Me, Royal Pains, Smallville, Sons of Anarchy, Southland, The Cleaner, True Blood and Ugly Betty.

24

No word on if Kim Raver will be back as Audrey, but Elisha Cuthbert has already filmed scenes for Day 8’s first few hours. (TV Guide)

Army Wives

Katelyn Pippy, who plays troubled Army daughter Emmalin, says, “Later in the season, somebody in the Holden family is going to be in accident.” (Watch With Kristin)

CSI: NY

The show recently sent out casting notices for the new series regular role of Kaye Sullivan, a young, attractive risk-taker whose personality has elements of Lindsay, Dr. Peyton Driscoll and ADA Natalie Greer. (TV Guide)

Dark Blue

Ty goes undercover to take down a gun trafficker, but he breaks crucial rules by seeing his wife on her birthday, potentially blowing his cover. Carter must obtain a cool $100,000 to protect Ty’s mission—and save his life. (SpoilerTV)

Desperate Housewives

Kyle MacLachlan is returning next season. And he’ll remain a series regular. (Michael Ausiello)

Lynette’s pregnancy will be a central issue this season. (TV Guide)

Friday Night Lights

Zach Gilford will be back for around five episodes next season. (Michael Ausiello)

Taylor Kitsch recently said he’s coming back for season four, but Minka Kelly is only back for a few episodes, which Connie Britton teased is not good news for Lyla and Riggins fans: “Riggins is going to have to move on. The reality of the situation is he’s in Dillon; he’s never going to leave Dillon probably, and she is. She has a whole future, and I think it would be really interesting to see what that does to him. Maybe she’ll come back and do some episodes, and we’ll see where she’s gone off to and see the difference between the girl who gets out and the guy who doesn’t. Those old high school relationships where you think [you're] going to be forever together and then you’ve got your whole life ahead of you and everything changes. ” (Watch With Kristin)

Scott Porter talks about his future on Friday Night Lights: “I may have a guest spot return to Dillon in season five. In the final episodes of the wrap-up season, we’ll put a bow on everybody. There are definitely some ways to bring Jason Street back. If Riggins gets in trouble, or if Riggins ends up getting married, then I’ll come back for that. [Street's return] is probably going to be Riggins-related, although since I’m a football scout now, I could probably come down and look at some of the new kids at East Dillon.” (Watch With Kristin)

Fringe

Astrid won’t be getting bigger storylines in Season 2. And while the addition of a female FBI agent would appear not to bode well for Astrid, she’ll continue to play an important role on the team. (TV Guide)

Glee

Michael Hitchcock will be appear alongside Eve as the director of a different rival choir. (Michael Ausiello)

While Will (Matthew Morrison) is married to Terri (Jessalyn Gilsig) and Emma (Jayma Mays) is pining for Will, the unlikely fourth point of the love quadrangle, Ken Tanaka (True Blood’s Patrick Gallagher), should not be counted out. Gallagher says of the slightly creepy football coach: “I think you understand where Ken comes from as they go on. You understand where the bitterness comes from, and people may start to like him a little. Ken will keep going [after Emma]. Ken will go after what he wants. The one thing Ken won’t do is give up.” (Watch With Kristin)

Heroes

Adrian Pasdar talks about why they cast an 11 year old Nathan: “I absorb a memory from an article of clothing that sends me back in time to when I was 11,” he explains. “Something happened to young Nathan but old Nathan doesn’t remember it. How can that be? It has to do with a character we have met before.” (Michael Ausiello)

Cristine Rose, who plays the imperious Heroes matriarch Angela Petrelli, says, “I just read episode 4.03 and—oh, I get chills just thinking about it—I learned that 20 years ago or so, I made a decision that is going to come to back to bite me in my rear end. Angela tries her best, but she keeps screwing up. Oh well, she stays afloat with a sense of humor and a glass of wine.” (Watch With Kristin)

House

Will House stop being crazy? “No,” says Robert Sean Leonard. “It would be like Quincy suddenly getting nice and loving examining dead bodies. There are certain things that are just givens about the show, and one is the general makeup of House’s attitude and personality. He may stop hallucinating but he’d never stop being sarcastic.” Adds series creator David Shore: “It depends on how we define better. That is the question. How sick is he? Does House want to get better? Can he get better? And how much better? And how much will the team be told and how will the dynamic shift with House away? Those are the questions we are going to deal with in the first bunch of episodes, and perhaps even the whole season to a certain extent.” (Michael Ausiello)

Executive producer David Shore talks about how is in charge while House is gone, “We are going to have some fun with who is going to be running the diagnostics department. We’re not bringing in anyone new right now, so it’s going to be somebody you know.” (Watch With Kristin)

Law and Order: SVU

CSU tech Dale Stuckey (Noel Fisher) definitely won’t be back in season 11. (Watch With Kristin)

Lie To Me

Mekhi Phifer has been promoted to a series regular, while Jennifer Beale will continue to recur as Lightman’s ex. We’ll meet Lightman’s longtime rival, an on-camera expert in the same field. (Michael Ausiello)

Royal Pains

Evan wasn’t originally Hank’s brother? Mark Feuerstein says, “When Paulo Costanzo came in to read for the role, the role was to actually be my best friend. When Paulo came in, we compared our Jew fros and Jew schnozzes, and the network realized they couldn’t possibly have us put together and not be related because it would just be too confusing. So they changed his character to my brother. The beauty of that is we have much more at stake when we have tension. And we share history that we never would have had had the characters not been changed to being brothers.” (Watch With Kristin)

Smallville

According to Justin Hartley, a portion of the ninth season will be about Oliver confronting his demons. “I think he is going to struggle with the things he has been afforded [as a result of] his powers,” he says. “He has sacrificed things and done things that haunt him… It’s bad stuff. We need to get to the bottom of it.” (Michael Ausiello)

The producers say that soon after mild-mannered John Corben (Brian Austin Green) begins his Daily Planet job, his fate takes a horrific twist that will change his destiny forever. (TV Guide)

Sons of Anarchy

Drea de Matteo is not currently scheduled to appear in season 2. (Michael Ausiello)

Ally Walker’s character June Stahl, returns to bust Sam Crow’s balls some more in season two. (Watch With Kristin)

Nord boss Ernest Darby (Mitch Pileggi) will be back for multiple episodes. (Watch With Kristin)

Southland

We’ll definitely find out more about the dynamic Ben shares with his big-shot defense lawyer dad, as well as whether Detective Clarke survived that out-of-nowhere shooting. (TV Guide)

The Cleaner

Kevin Michael Richardson is off the show. This season will focus less on the team and more on William Banks, Benjamin Bratt’s character. (TV Guide)

True Blood

In the next episode, Sookie (Anna Paquin), Bill (Stephen Moyer) and Jessica (Deborah Ann Woll) encounter trouble when they arrive in Dallas and find out that someone from the Fellowship of the Sun was sent to abduct Sookie. The plan fails. And believe it or not, Lafayette (Nelsan Ellis) invites Eric (Alexander Skarsgård) into his home and feeds off his blood to recover from the wounds suffered when Eric abducted him. (Watch With Kristin)

Ugly Betty

Mode’s getting a new editor! Her name’s Amber, she’s in her ’20s, she’s Asian, and is a master at the backhanded compliment. Casting is underway. (Michael Ausiello)

There will be a possible mob subplot involving Hilda. (Michael Ausiello)

Piper Perabo has been cast in USA Network’s spy thriller Covert Affairs. Written by Matt Corman and Chris Ord, the show centers on Annie Walker (Perabo), a CIA trainee who speaks six languages and excels at any endeavor she undertakes. Walker joins the CIA while still reeling over a mysterious ex-boyfriend who appears to be of particular interest to her new bosses. She vows never to let herself be hurt again, but that proves to be a tall order.

With the lead role cast, attention now shifts to finding an actor to play Auggie Anderson, a blind tech expert who assists Walker in her assignments. The project hasn’t received a pilot order, but a green light is expected soon.

Christian Slater is in negotiations to star in the new ABC series The Forgotten says The Hollywood Reporter. The mystery drama revolves around a group of amateur detectives led by a former cop (Slater) whose 11-year-old daughter was kidnapped three years earlier. Slater would replace British actor Rupert Penry-Jones, who played the lead in the pilot. Another role, that of a female member of the sleuth squad, also is being recast.

The Forgotten will air at 10:00 PM/ET Tuesdays and is scheduled to bow September 22. It would mark Slater’s second turn as a TV leading man after last year’s short-lived NBC spy drama My Own Worst Enemy.

ABC has ordered a new reality competition show, The Fast and the Funniest, in which comedians have to be funny on the fly. On the show a group of stand-ups travel cross-country competing in challenges and performances. The first three to reach the final destination will perform for a cash prize. The project’s order is contingent on casting, with Page Hurwitz and Javier Winnik producing the show. If greenlighted, The Fast and the Funniest would debut on ABC in late midseason or next summer. It joins ABC’s upcoming auto-competition series Crash Course and the Jamie Oliver weight-loss series among the network’s reality efforts in development.

The internationally produced series, also set to air on Canada’s CTV, Germany’s ProSieben and the BBC, comes from creator/executive producer James Parriott, who served as an executive producer on ABC’s Grey’s Anatomy and Ugly Betty, and executive producer Michael Edelstein, former executive producer of Desperate Housewives.

Defying Gravity is one of three drama series that FtvS produced independently with international partners in the past year, along with Mental and Persons Unknown. It is the second after “Mental” to land a U.S. distributor and the first to go somewhere other than a Fox-affiliated network.

Carroll is signed up to star fulltime in NCIS, but he’s also signed as a recurring cast member on NCIS: Los Angeles as the same character. Carroll plays the Naval Criminal Investigative Service director Leon Vance, whose oversight – just like that of the real-life NCIS director – includes multiple jurisdictions.

As a result, the Mark Harmon-led team on NCIS will be seen reporting to Carroll, as will the LL Cool J-Chris O’Donnell team on NCIS: Los Angeles. Carroll joined NCIS fulltime last year after his character, who had been assistant director of the NCIS, was promoted in the wake of the death of his predecessor (Lauren Holly).

When a freak accident during an experimental space mission catapulted Astronaut John Crichton across a thousand galaxies to an alien battlefield, a cult classic was born with the epic, adventure-filled TV series Farscape. The award-winning fan favorite show, which ran from 1999-2003 on Sci Fi and was named by TV Guide as one of television’s best cult shows ever, is about to blast off again on DVD courtesy of a pact between A&E Home Entertainment and The Jim Henson Company.

TV Guide is reporting that BET is looking at bringing original episodes of The Game to their network. The entire cast seems to be on board for a fourth season, and the only hold-up comes from CBS Paramount Network TV. BET is waiting to hear if it can acquire the rights to air new episodes. Earlier this year, BET acquired the off-network rights to run repeats of the show. The idea of BET stepping forward and saving The Game actually came from the show’s cast, which includes Tia Mowry, Pooch Hall and Wendy Raquel Robinson.

Sci Fi is developing a reboot of Alien Nation, the 1988 feature that previously spawned a spinoff series on Fox. Tim Minear – no stranger to sci-fi tales, having worked on The X-Files, Firefly and Strange World – is writing the fresh take on the franchise. Fox 21, the alternative production arm of 20th Century Fox TV, will produce. Alien Nation centers on the partnership between a veteran cop and his alien detective partner, set against the larger tale of alien “newcomers” who move to Earth and attempt to assimilate into society.

The new Alien Nation would include a mythology that evolves over time and will also touch on some of the issues of the day, such as the immigrant experience and how society integrates an incoming culture. Minear said he’s looking forward to incorporating a mix of all the different kinds of series he’s written in the past.

Minear is currently busy outlining the Alien Nation script and mapping out the project’s mythology. The new Alien Nation will likely take place in the Pacific Northwest, and will take place about 20 years after the first ship of aliens – who have been banished as slaves – crash lands into Earth. By the time the show begins, some time in the 2020s, the alien population has multiplied from a few thousand to 3.5 million. And much of the “newcomers” live their own segregated existence, in what Minear compares to the North African ghettos in France.

The original film, which took place in 1991, was directed by Graham Baker and written by Rockne S. O’Bannon (with an uncredited revise by James Cameron). Mandy Patinkin and James Caan starred as alien cop Sam Francisco and his reluctant human partner, respectively; Terence Stamp also starred.

In 1989, 20th Century Fox TV and Kenneth Johnson Prods. adapted the movie for Fox, with Eric Pierpoint and Gary Graham in the lead roles. The show lasted just a single season but spawned a series of books.

The TV show was revived in 1994 as a series of telepics for Fox, starting with Alien Nation: Dark Horizon. Five TV movies were ultimately aired; the last, Alien Nation: The Udara Legacy, ran in 1997.
