Last Christmas...

It was at exactly this time last year that we put out our first post on this website (literally this time). When this post gets published it will only be half an hour till Christmas day for us in the UK so Merry Christmas from us.

The real purpose of this post is to update you all on the current status of the TUKC. Series 2 is going to be starting on the 27th of December (same time as last year, keeping to traditions you know) and may even feature a brand new guest (don't quote me on that).

Of course this brand new episode is going to be our annual, fashionably late, Christmas Special. Remember to subscribe to our feed by clicking the RSS icon at the top of the page or subscribing via iTunes here.

Again, hope you all have a good Christmas and hope you will tune in for our "big" comeback on the 27th.

...change to the website that is. You may have noticed a couple new additions to the website such as more feed links and a Track of the Week widget (powered by Spotify). And no I haven't forgotten about the podcast, it's exams time at the moment and so we haven't found a good date to record Ep. 8.
I'm sure we will find a day soon, as long as we aren't too lazy...

So yeah, I am "apparently" the new manager. (WOOHOO!)

*Ahem* Excuse my outbreak of joy... Anyway, I have realized that the anarchy has indeed begun because there has been no TUKC for nearly 3 weeks! *queue dramatic music etc.* But don't worry i'm on it already and a new episode should be coming soon. You may even get a reason as to why there has been no episode for such a long time.

So we are expecting to record sometime on Friday and although its after Easter this will be branded as our Easter episode (expect plenty of sound effects to fit the mood).

Finalement (finally), we have began recording.
Sorry for the inconvenience however we are sure you know how it is, Christmas and all.

Just wanted to mention that if you want to subscribe in advance, there should be a little side bar to the right of the page that when you hover over, brings up the subscribe option.

Clicking on that takes you to our feed burner site where from there you can choose your podcasting service.

If you are on a mobile podcasting service, just add the feed burner page link to your service. It should be something like this:

Add Feed --> Manually --> feeds.feedburner.com/theukcongress

From there you will receive our podcast automatically, saving you the trouble of finding us.

Welcome all,

We (the Hosts), Dwayne and Rowan, are the UK Congress and this is our podcast.
Live in London, we are a Comedy Podcast Talk-Show where everything nonsensical rules and intelligence is optional.
We discuss topics of any genre and add a splash of personality to make the perfect mix.
It is released in an incoherent time frame for now but do not worry, as we get on our feet, we're sure to release an episode once a week (hah, look at that, it rhymed!).

For now though, this is how we'll do things around here:

Our first episode will be a fashionably late (cough, cough) Christmas Special, perfect timing, eh?
In which we will discuss, Kids, Dads and Arguments. I'm sure you can't wait...
