PubCon Day 1 chock full of sessions

By WHIR Happenings Boy am I glad that I decided to come out to Las Vegas for PubCon 2009. The highlight of my day began with meeting Zappos CEO Tony Heish I wrote about his opening keynote here. He left us with some valuable insight into what makes Zappos such a success, information I believe that would be valuable to any web hosting provider or any growing organization for that matter. I moved from session to session and picked up a few nuggets of information and tips along the way, some of which I think you might find interesting.

Brett Tabke conference organizer said a few opening words and declared that PubCon is the best conference ever in the tech industry and not just because he is the organizer but because of the great people behind the conference. WHIR Events wrap up - Miami Beach, FL

By WHIR Happenings More than 120 guests attended the 7th WHIR Networking Event of 2009 last night in Miami Beach, Florida. It was the usual mix of web hosts, data centers and ISPs, with a more-than-usual representation of telecommunications companies, given that VON and Channel Partners events happened to have coincided the same week. With the apparent the lack of after-hours networking events at the two conferences, our Miami event was a welcome evening for the trade show attendees.

You may already be familiar with the way tag clouds function but I'll still mention that as topics become more popular on the site the larger and more bold they appear in the tag cloud.
