has seen an incredible growth in recent years that having phones, which belong to the same segment does not really take the company anywhere. Blackberry phones used to remain in this rather boring way for a few years until now. Now though, they seem to have realized that this will not work amidst competition from the likes of iPhone and Android phones. Hence, Blackberry is set to launch their latest phone in the Torch series, the new BlackBerry Torch 9800.

The new BlackBerry Torch 9800 deals most of the features that have made Blackberry one of the world’s renowned makers of business phones along with some new features like multi-tasking and so. The multi-tasking function, which was not available previously, is now made possible due to the use of the latest Blackberry OS 6. Apart from being able to multi-task, the phone also has various built-in apps for social networking and a new and improved web browser.

The phone has a large 3.2 inch touch screen that has a full QWERTY keyboard underneath it. The keyboard slides out in portrait mode, but this does not make the phone uncomfortable or too large to hold. In fact, it makes the phone even better because when you do not need the keyboard, you can just slide it in, and whoa, you have made the phone much smaller. This makes it very portable whether you like to have the phone in your hand or in your pockets.

The BlackBerry Torch 9800 has been billed as one of the best Blackberry phones that have been made till date. The phone is set to be made available for customers from this week and is already available under a number of mobile operators in phone contract options with prices from £30-£40 per month.

Blackberry Blackpad Launch

With the growing competition among the mobile gadgets, Research In Motion (RIM ) have a new offering about their new Tablet. The Blackberry has entered into a Tablet Pc Market and it’s expected to be an explosion. This new tablet PC from the mobile phone has been regarded as Blackpad. This is being introduced as a competitor and rival for the Apple iPad. Such name has been recommended to hype up the gadget competition. Though information regarding the Blackpad has not yet been officially released by RIM, there are reports that Blackpad have a 7” touch screen with Broadband and Bluetooth connections. It is still unsure if it will have one or dual cameras. According to experts, the only setback for this is that the user should connect it to the moble networks through a Blackberry.
With regards to the the OS, it is highly expected that it will be on a platform which will be developed by the QNX. So watch out for the Blackpad and lets see how it can really hype up the competition with Apple Ipad.

Samsung Galaxy Tab To Tip the Tablet Market

It’s official- say goodbye to Apple’s tablet PC monopoly and say hi to the new competitor on the block- the Samsung Galaxy Tab! Samsung is apparently the latest mobile manufacturer to jump into the Tablet PC bandwagon and with their new brainchild, the Samsung Galaxy Tab - the face of the tablet PC arena might just change a whole lot.

It has been several months since the Apple iPad was freed from its cage and sooner than we thought, it has already sold almost three million units in its first few weeks. Now that Samsung is about to unleash their front-runner tablet PC, the whole mobile arena has been looking forward to the big clash. You can pick up this tablet from phone comparison sites like Best Mobile contracts.

A 7-inch screen with full-touch functionality (TouchWiz) and a 1GHz processor on its background- it would surely give the other competitors a real competition in the market. To top it off, it runs on a Google Android OS making it more appealing to the users as it has more chances of being tweaked and modified with apps and all that stuff.

Pretty much Samsung has wisely designed their Samsung Galaxy Tab based on what other tablet PCs are lacking. One for example is Apple iPads lack of a camera feature- they responded not only by adding a 3 megapixel camera on the rear part but also made it more classy by adding a front facing camera which can be used for video calls. Yes- you just heard it right, Samsung Galaxy Tab will allow you to make calls- thought it may be a bit awkward to talk to someone with a 7 inch tablet beside your ear.

Connectivity wise, it can connect with WiFi 802.11n frequency making it acquire more decent signals than other devices. It is also embedded with Bluetooth 3.0 which many mobile phones do not have yet to date as well as 3G connectivity.

The best thing about the Samsung Galaxy Tab which I believe many people will look after is the Adobe Flash 10.1 support. Perhaps every tablet PC enthusiast would drop anything their holding upon hearing that but true enough, Samsung has finally realized the dream tablet PC which many users are looking forward to. Now browsing can be much simpler and easier with the Adobe Flash Plug-in Support of the Samsung Galaxy Tab. No frills, no non-sense- just pure and optimized browsing experience.

Downloading apps with this tablet-PC bomb would be easy as it uses the Google Android OS, and there are pretty much a lot of Android Apps available in the market, and surely- more will be available with the anticipated release of this one.

We can’t deny that Samsung Galaxy Tab might, upon release, become a Jack-of-All Trades in terms of usability and features since it offers a lot of improvements in terms of entertainment, browsing, multimedia and connectivity.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab is expected to be released on a later quarter of this year but the buzz that has been created since Samsung’s official announcement has already made tablet PC aficionados a lot thriftier, and Tablet PC competitors on the defence stance as it would definitely paint the Tablet PC Market a new face and set forth a more competitive direction.

BIG BANG CHUSEOK MESSAGE @LG CYON

With the emergence of the touch screen mobile gadgets, mibile gadgets has never been the same. Just like the other Acer mobiles it also uses Android 2.1 as its operating system named Éclair. It is said that once the improved Android OS called Froyo has been completed, users of the Stream can get a free upgrade. Find cheap mobile deals online by comparing all the deals online.

The Acer Stream has a very fashionable design. It is so light that it only weighs 140 g and it only measures 120 X 63 X 11 mm. With a 3.7-inch AMOLED screen you will be able to view high quality photos for it also supports up to 16M colours. What’s good with an AMOLED screen is that it saves more battery compared to TFT displays. The resolution of this mobile is 480 x 800 pixels and is also equipped with an auto rotate function. Take a look at all the great Acer Stream contracts currently on offer.

The Acer Stream is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon processor which keeps the mobile operating fast even on demanding tasks. The mobile also comes with a number of applications that you can use. Not to mention that the Android Market gives you access to a large number of applications that you can pick and choose from. Most of all, this mobile gives you access to social networking sites like Facebook and Flickr. With this mobile you can stay connected all the time.

This mobile comes with a 5MP camera. You cannot go wrong with taking pictures with Acer Stream. It is geo tagging enabled so the mobile automatically saves the location where the picture was taken. Just like any other camera it is also important that this mobile also offers face and smile detection. With the Stream’s on board camera, you can live without having to bring your digital camera with you wherever you go.

Home Gadget: Kickboxing try out

Are you mad that your team was beaten up in the FIFA and the World Cup tournament. This is because of the excitement it brings to the sports enthusiasts especially if the player gets a home run. In doing this sports, you must have healthy, fit, and in shape body along with the endurance to win and the game and to sustain your energy until the last minute. Some athletes tend to use Deca Durabolin to maintain their body shape and to have that fit body. They actually Buy Steroids for achieving the body figure and built they want. However, the athletes must consider the steroids they buy because some might not meet the requirement s for a Legal Steroids.

Like in choosing the mobile gadgets or computer gadgets, athletes should remember that substance abused occurs even when they deliberately or unknowingly use these performance-enhancers. Mainly, due to the increase in portability and performance. Still, few can perform at the same level as desktop computers do. In particular, graphics.
But let also discuss the sub-notebook. Sub-notebooks are also called kneetops or ultraportables. They are called as such because of their small size compared to a standard-sized notebook. The savings in weight and size is due to the omission of ports and removable media drives. Although typically consists of smaller screen and keyboard, it is still equivalent with the standard-sized ones.
Below are aspects to be considered before buying notebook computers.
CPU (Processors). Notebook processors were always considered to be slower than desktop CPUs, but that has changed recently. Manufacturers are coming up with Dual-core processors which help with multitasking.
Notebook processors have limited amount of power as they have to run even when the notebook system is not plugged into an outlet. The less power that the notebook uses, the longer the system should be able to run for off the battery. Processor manufacturers thus employ a CPU scaling where a processor scales its power usage (and thus performance). However, this presents a major challenge in balanced performance and power consumption.
Memory (RAM). Compared to desktops, notebooks are generally more restricted in the amount of memory. Buyers must check the maximum memory can handle as well as the amount that is installed in the computer. Buyers must also ask manufacturers or suppliers if a memory upgrade can be done yourself or by a technician. The minimum amount of memory should at least be 512MB and for improved performance, at least 1GB.
Displays and Video. Video and display on a notebook computer is comprised of the video processor, screen size and the native resolution. Large displays have higher the resolution, but this will impact the portability of the system. Becoming more popular now are the wide screens. 3D graphics and PC gaming meanwhile are determined by the performance of the graphics processor.
Size and Weight. This aspect of the notebook is obviously important. Although ultraportables offer light weight and sizes, it sacrifices items such as drives. Desktop replacements oh the other hand have equivalent power to desktop systems. However, they are heavy and bulky making them difficult to carry around. Make sure to pick up the systems. This way, buyers could decide if its something they are willing to carry. Buyers must also consider the weight of accessories such as AC adapter when carrying around the notebook.
Drives. How much storage space will be needed? Hard drives are fairly straight forward in terms of the size. Performance may even be impacted by the rotational speed. When purchasing a notebook PC, optical drives play a more important role. It is best to at least get a drive that is capable or reading DVDs and burning CDs or DVDs. The reason? It is better to download software this way.
Networking. Most notebook buyers today buy them for the sole reason of web connection. Hence, ability to connect to the net is integral. Systems that include a built in 56Kbps modem and Fast Ethernet are best recommended. Most notebooks today also offer wireless networking as rise in this technology is seen. A notebook with 802.11b/g for minimum amount of wireless connectivity is best for beginners. It will give first-time buyers the most amount of connectivity.
Battery Life. A portable computer with only 30 minutes computing time to offer at a single charge is no good. Look for the manufacturer’s listed battery life for the standard battery. A system with at least 2 hours of battery life under normal conditions is best recommended. For extended time unplugged, laptops with media bays that can double as extra battery slots or have extended life batteries can be purchased.

All About Computers

Research on computers as assistants means looking for new ways of dividing the labor between humans and computers. On the one hand, future systems should take on more tasks than existing systems do, especially those that seem tedious or difficult for humans. On the other hand, they should not automate tasks completely. The basic paradigm is that of assistance. In many fields of application the problems are either too complex or simply too numerous for any attempt to develop a machine with complete problem-solving competence to succeed. What is called for instead is a set of calibrated tools that the user can combine, adapt, and employ as he or she sees fit. Exhaustive treatment and coverage of a problem is in fact not the goal of computers as assistants. There are many characteristics of effective assistance. A human assistant, for instance, is expected to be competent in his or her domain of expertise, to know his or her limitations, to be able to process inexact instructions, to adjust to a client and to learn from the client, and to be able to explain his or her behavior and suggestions. The facilitation of communication and cooperation is a central function of an assistant. If computer systems are to offer assistant capabilities, they must be supplied with domain knowledge and knowledge about the user. There is an additional requirement: Computer systems need knowledge about themselves, that is, they need to know about the way they function. Only if a system can observe its own behavior, and reflect on it, will it be able to correctly evaluate its own competence and explain its behavior.

Auto Accersory

In the auto industry, other important thing to consider aside from the good model and brand of the car or vehicle that you bought is in terms of spoilers. The Sharper Image Entertainment Projector for Movies and Video Games is perfect for this. All that is required of the user is to hook the Projector to a DVD player or gaming station via included cable, and plug it in with the included AC cord.

According to the site, it is best viewed from six feet away. I had a chance to try it out for myself. I held it back more than six feet away from a blank wall, and I was able to get a pretty decent image.

The Projector also has a terrific handle that doubles as a stand for it. The Projector easily pivots, and it is possible for the user to adjust it so it is projected on the ceiling. It even comes with a remote control for power, volume, contrast, and color.

Granted, I wish this Projector could easily connect to an average computer without having to purchase special adapters, such as the 3M MPro 120. I guess you can’t have it both ways. At least the sound is considerably better than the aforementioned projector.

You should be able to purchase the Sharper Image Entertainment Projector from the Sharper Image site for about $129.99. It won’t be available until November 12th, though.

CR: Coolest-Gadgets.com

Sanyo DMP-692 Dual Dock Music System

Sanyo has launched couple of new audio systems to their target audience , with the DMP-P1 a Cube Alarm Clock Radio and also an iPod docking station and the DMP-692 Dual Dock Music System, along with two docking stationse which allows two iPods or an iPod and iPhone to be played and recharged simultaneously. Such new offering is very much recognizable with its stylish systems.

The Sanyo DMP-692 Dual Dock Music System also have an AM/FM Digital Stereo Tuner with Dual Programmable Alarms, which lets personalizing and customizing your wake-up experience by selecting a tune from the favorite play list from an iPod or iPhone, or decide to let such friendly banter of the DJ on a morning radio show to do the job. Not only that, the iPod/iPhone can still be used to play back your tunes when recharging.

As for the DMP-P1 Cube Alarm Clock Radio, this device comes with an AM/FM PLL Digital Tuner with Programmable Alarm Clock, offering a similar customized wake-up experience as the DMP-692, although it does not fare as well as its more feature-rich sibling by coming with only one iPod dock. At least this iPod dock will let you play back your tunes while charging it up at the same time for added convenience. Buttons are located at the top for easy access. Both models will be heading towards the online Sanyo store as well as selected retailers in the US from later this month onwards, with the Cube Alarm Clock Radio and Dual Dock Music System going for $39.99 and $89.99, respectively.
credit: coolest-gadgets.com

iTwinge Keyboard for iPhone

iPhone can be considered as the most in demand phone although some people are not digging about its keyboard.
