RIP Scott Sorry, 1978-2025

We lost a brother today

We’re heartbroken to share that Scott Sorry has passed away after a long and incredibly brave fight with brain cancer. Scott passed away on his 47th birthday, October 30th, 2025.

After being diagnosed with Glioblastoma back in 2018, Scott refused to let it define him. He outlived every Doctors expectation, turning months into years, and even made it back to the UK in 2022 for a tour — something that meant the world to him. He was so grateful to be able to play again, to see so many familiar faces and to personally thank so many of you that had supported him through it all.

We’re devastated beyond words, but there’s comfort in knowing he’s finally free from pain. His strength, humour, and heart will stay with us forever.

Scott is survived by his wife Hanni and his three children River, Ryder and Rörik.

Following the recent UK tour, we have a small amount of merch still available, including a very limited number of blue and red vinyl copies of Satanic Rites Of The Wildhearts, signed by all four band members (no white vinyl left!). New design tour t-shirts are also still to be had, as well as some hoodies.

The first fifty orders of any shirt, hoodie or vinyl will get a tour laminate thrown in, either from the recent March tour, or last year’s Shepherds Bush Empire show.

Changes to in-store sessions

Due to logistical problems that would have had a probable knock on effects on the remaining tour dates, we have reluctantly made the decision to cancel today’s instore at Newcastle HMV.

We apologise but this is a case of things genuinely being out of our control.

We will be sending a special gift to anyone who was planning to attend by way of an apology and have asked HMV to supply a list of attendees so we can ensure this happens, there will also be an option for you to receive a signed copy of the album, details to follow.

Please accept our sincere apologies, but we have to protect the well being of the band and ensure the remaining dates go ahead as planned.

However, it’s always great that when something goes wrong, in this case, having to cancel the Newcastle instore, someone steps forward to help out.

It gives us great pleasure to announce that the final instore for the tour will take place at:

The track also features a guest saxophone solo from Jurgen Munkeby (Shining).

Playing the test pressings

The reason we have test vinyl pressings of new albums is so we can check that they sound as awesome as they should do, so that when they are delivered to your good selves, we know you’ll be hearing them as they truly should be heard. So a very important step that needs to be taken, is to actually listen to them!
