My computer took a shit. Motherboard burnt out on me. And as I was broke, with not a penny to my name, I was unable to fix it or purchase a new one. Plus, me being the fool I am, I never bothered to write down the password to either my webhosting account or my wordpress account. So, even if I could have gotten a hold of a computer, and got some new comics onto it, I wouldn’t have been able to upload them onto the site. I was also unable to post blog entries or comments. Since then I’ve bought a cheap laptop and installed my old hard drive into it. Now I can access all my old info. Hence, why you can read this now.

Add to all this my financial situation and a recent illness in my family, I just couldn’t see myself making comics at that time.

But now…

I am ready to start posting comics again! I have written a bunch of new material and will soon be putting the artwork together.

Some changes.

From this point on, the comic will be called “gunsnreligion”, like the webpage address. Also, I will be moving it in a slightly different direction. Most of the comics will be centered around the two little puppet creatures that I featured before I went on my extended hiatus. I occasionally will still post the old style “one-and-done” panels, but not as frequently as I have in the past. Altogether, I want to post new comics at least three times a week, but I doubt I will be able to post daily.

And lastly, I’m redesigning the look of the site, and taking down some old comics I never really cared for, or which I don’t think fit in with the new theme of the site. I will probably create a vault, and link to it, so you can still view the removed comics, if you wish.

Whew, that was a long post. I want to thank all of you, past and present, who have visited the site, left encouraging comments, and even been so nice as to donate or purchase merchandise. I can’t tell you how much I appreciate you all. And to all those who have still faithfully kept up with the site, hoping to see something new, hold on just a bit longer. New funny is on its way.
