When it comes to Cricket there is only one religion in Inida its Cricket. Yes Cricket is celebrated as a religion so there should be a God and That God is None other than the Great Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar.

When the word cricket strikes in our mind one image flashes in our mind its Sachin Yes the Man who rewritten the History of Cricket and we can proudly Say he is Indian. On November 16th 2013 Sachin Retired from Cricket "sorry" its Cricket Retired From Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar and its very very emotional day in Entire Cricket History. Every cricket fan in India had tears in their eyes because we can't imagine cricket without Sachin. Personally I can remember that I use to watch cricket until Sachin Bats.

He Started Playing cricket at the age of eleven and made his First Test Debut against Pakistan at the age sixteen and went on to represent India and Mumbai Ranji Domestic team for 24 years.

All my friends, settle down. Let me talk, I'll get more and more emotional.' The crowd goes berserk out there. 'My life, between 22 yards for 24 years, it's hard to believe that the wonderful journey is coming to an end. But I would like to take this opportunity to thank people who have played an important role in my life.

Also for the first time in my life I am carrying this list in my hand to remember all the names. In case I forget someone, I hope you understand. It's getting a little difficult to talk but I'll manage. The most important person in my life, and I've missed a lot since 1999 he passed away, my father. Without his guidance, I don't think I would have been standing here in front of you. He gave me freedom at the age of 11, and he told me, chase your dreams and make sure you don't find shortcuts. The path might be difficult but don't give up, and I've simply followed his instructions. Above all, he told me to be a nice human being which I've continued to do so, I've tried my best. Every time I've done something special, whenever I've shown my bat, it was for my father. So I miss him today.

My mother, I don't how she dealt with such a naughty child like me. I was not easy to manage. She must be extremely patient. For a mother, the most important thing is that her child remains safe and healthy, and fit and that's what she was most bothered about and worried about. She took care of me. For 1st 24 years that I've played for India, but even before that, she started praying for me the day I started playing cricket. She just prayed and prayed and prayed and I think her prayers and blessing have given me the strength to go out and perform. So a big thank you to my mother for all the sacrifices.

In my school days, for fours years I stayed with my uncle and aunt because my school was quite far from my home and they treated me like their son. My aunt after having had a hard day's play, I would be half asleep and she would be feeding me food so that I could go and play again tomorrow. I can't forget these moments, I'm like their son and I am glad that it has continued to be the same way.

My eldest brother Nitin and his family have always encouraged me. My eldest brother doesn't like to talk much. But the one thing he always told is that whatever you do, I know you would give 100% and I have full confidence and faith in you. It is that encouragement that meant a lot to me.

My sister Savita and her family was no different. The first cricket bat of my life was presented to me by my sister and it was a Kashmir Willow bat. But that is when the journey began. She is one of those many who continues to fast when I bat. So thank you very much. Ajit my brother, now what do I talk about him? I don't know really. We've lived this dream together. He was the one who sacrificed his career for my cricket. He spotted the spark in me. It all started from the age of 11, when he took me to Achrekar sir, my coach and from there on my life changed.

You will find this hard to believe that even last night he called me and we were discussing my dismissal. Knowing that there was a remote chance of batting again, but just that the habit which we've developed and the rapport we've developed since my birth, it has continued and it will continue. Maybe even when I am not playing cricket we will still be discussing technique. Various things we agreed upon, my technique and so many technical things which I didn't agree with him, we've had arguments and disagreements. But in the end when I look back at those things, if that hadn't happened in my life I would have been a lesser cricketer.

The most beautiful thing happened to me in 1991 when I met my wife Anjali, Those were special years and it has continued and it will always continue that way. I know Anjali being a doctor, there was a wonderful career in front her. When we decided to have a family, Anjali took the initiative to step back and say that you continue with your cricket and I'll take the responsibility of the family. Without that I don't think I would have been able to play cricket freely and without any stress. Thanks for bearing with all my fuss all my frustrations and all sorts of rubbish that I've spoken, I normally do. Thanks for bearing with me and always staying by my side through the ups and downs. You are the best partnership I've had in my life.

Then the two precious diamonds of my life, Sara and Arjun. They've already grown up. My daughter is 16 and my son is 14, time has flown by. I wanted to spend so much time with them on special occasions like their birthdays, annual days, sports days, going on holidays, whatever. I've missed out on all those things. Thanks for your understanding. Both of you have been so, so special to me. You cannot imagine. I promise you, for 14 years and 16 years, I've not spent enough time with both of you. But the next 16 years or even beyond that, everything is for you. My in-laws have been so, so supportive, loving, caring. I've discussed on various things in life generally with them and taken their advise. You know, it's so important to have a strong family who's always with you guiding you. Before you start clapping, the most important thing they did was allowing me to marry Anjali so thank you very much. In the last 24 years that I've played for India I've made new friends and before that I've had friends of my childhood. They all have had terrific contributions. Right from you know, as and when I've called them to come and bowl to me in the nets, they've left all their work aside and come and help me. Be it joining me on holidays or having discussions on cricket, when I was a little stressed and wanting to find a solution so that I could perform better. All those moments, my friends were with me. Even whenever I was injured I would walk up early in the morning because I could not sleep. I thought my career was over because of injuries. That's when my friends have woken up at 3 AM to drive with me and just make me believe that your career is not over. Life would be incomplete without all those friends. Thanks for being with me. My cricket career started when I was 11. The turning point of my career was when my brother took me to Achrekar sir, my coach. I was extremely delighted to see him up in the stands. Normally he sits in front of the television and he watches all the games that I played. When I was 11, 12, those were the days where I used to hop back on his scooter and play couple of practice matches a day. First half of the day I would be batting at Shivaji Park, the second half, some other match at Azad Maidan. Sir would be taking me all over Mumbai to make sure that I got match practice. On a lighter note, in the last 29 years sir has never ever said well played to me because he thought I would get complacent and I would stop working hard. Maybe he can push his luck and wish me now well done on my career because there are no more matches sir in my life. I would be just witnessing cricket and cricket will always stay in my heart. But you have had an immense contribution in my life. Thank you very much.

End of an Era:

Its all over now Sachin is no more in cricket field, we can't see those lovely cover drive, cut shot, famous straight drive, the upper cut, eye catching on drives and so on. Lets wish him to have a Great and Lovely off field life hopefully now he can spend his time with his lovable family and friends.

Story Of Diwali:

The most well known story behind Diwali is in the Ramayana, the great Hindu epic. According to Ramayana, Rama, the prince of Ayodhya was ordered by his father, King Dasharatha, to go away from his country and come back after living in the forest for fourteen years. So Rama went on exile with his devoted wife Sita and faithful brother, Lakshmana. When Ravana, the demon king of Lanka abducted Sita and took her away to his island kingdom of Lanka, Rama fought against and killed Ravana. He rescued Sita and returned to Ayodhya after fourteen years. The people of Ayodhya were very happy to hear of their beloved prince's homecoming. To celebrate Rama's return to Ayodhya, they lit up their houses with earthen lamps (diyas), burst crackers and decorated the entire city in the grandest manner. This is believed to have started the tradition of Diwali. Not only this, There are many other stories said to be reason for the Festival Diwali.

Dark Side of Diwali:

Children Under age 14 are forced to work in the Cracker Industry who are mostly belongs to Below Poverty line. Because of this they are severely affected by skin cancer and other major health issues one of the best Example for this are Sivakasi (Tamil Nadu) Cracker Industries. Government Not taking any steps to fix these problems. Government Implemented some rules and regulations to be followed to run a industry but nobody worried about that. In Diwali Festival Day instead of enlightening children life we are destroying it. To Burst cracker and for our happiness we are Killing several families.

Not only health issues there is n number of reports in every year that is cracker industries got fired and many people were died and injured. Still no steps have been taken by the government even if they taken it wont reach the people.

Another Major issues because of Cracker is Air and Noise Pollution. Last Year on Diwali day in India major cities like Delhi, Mumbai, kolkata, Chennai, Bangalore, Hyderabad were vastly affected by Pollutions it went much higher level then permissible level.

Better Way To Celebrate Diwali:

For Most of us Diwali Means we remember bursting crackers, wearing new cloths and eating delicious Sweets. Diwali Means "Festival of Lights" "Enlightening Someone's life" "Bringing Glory to Someone's life" but actually we are make it darker and darker. We can celebrate Diwali in better way by planting trees, celebrating diwali with poor children, celebrating with orphans by gifting New cloths if you cannot do anything just share love and happiness with your family without polluting atmosphere.

Enabling Handwriting Support tool in Gmail:

1. Go to Gmail and Click on Gear button and select Settings.

2. Now Select General Tab and Enable input tools by selecting the check box.

3. After Enabling, click Edit Tools(its just below the enable input tools) and following window will appear, add your language by double clicking the "All input Tools" and it will be added to "Selected input Tools".

4. Click ok Button and save changes at the buttom of the settings page.

Once enabled, Whenever you sending mail or creating document select the handwriting input "represented by a pencil icon" of the language you want to use.

Note: Once you enabled Handwriting tool in Gmail is also applicable to Google Documents too (if both Gmail Accounts are same)

It is the responsibility of people to ensure that the 21st century is the century of India, Gujarat Chief Minister and the Bharatiya Janata Party’s prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi, said on Friday.

“It was widely accepted that the present century was going to be the century of Asia. But it should be turned into the century of India,” Mr Modi said, delivering the Nani Palkhivala memorial lecture at a function organised here by the Palkhivala Foundation.

Noting that in future, the relationship between India and the rest of the world would be based on give and take, he felt that India had to emerge as a country that had something to offer. “Only then would the world take note of you,” he said, interspersing his lecture in English with Hindi.

Emphasising that the economic strength of the country would form part of the foundation of an effective foreign policy and successful security strategies, Mr Modi wanted the potential of the tourism sector to be harnessed fully for creating more jobs.

He criticised the United Progressive Alliance for not being forceful in response when soldiers, manning the border of the country, were killed ruthlessly.

The Chief Minister launched a book – Self Deception: India’s China Policies – authored by former Union Minister Arun Shourie.

‘Cho’ S. Ramaswamy, Editor of ‘Thuglak,’ said Mr Modi was going to be the issue in the forthcoming election to Parliament. Arvind P. Datar and N.L. Rajah, trustees of the Foundation, spoke.

Nani Palkhivala was a gifted economist

To my mind, his biggest contribution was in upholding the Indian Constitution. Had it not been for people like him, the basic structure of the constitution would have been different.

In a short time of two years, Nani Palkhivala was able to generate immense respect for India in the US. Whatever he did, he did it with distinction. I find his legacy more interesting than his life.

We are lucky to be born in this country. It is said in the scriptures that India is a land where even the Gods want to take birth.

Vasudheva Kutumbakam is our guiding principle for dealing with the world.

The manner and message of India for the world is of peace and harmony.

Gandhiji gave importance to the moral dimension in the conduct of persons and nations.

The policies during the British rule divided us internally as well as internationally.

After independence, the first task should have been to collect all those threads and weave a harmonious neighbourhood.

India can offer a lot and become the alchemist of the world.

Today's world is unstable, instability arises from the lack of understanding the viewpoint of others.

These are our healing powers which we can use for international relations. Our healing power is our cultural strong point.

For many Asian and east Asian countries, Buddha is a common thread with us. We should strengthen this bond.

Many neighbours look upon India as a big brother because of its size and resources. That status casts a lot of responsibility. We have failed to play that role properly.

Arun Shourie's book explains how India is making a mockery of itself with its limited and timid approach vis-a-vis China.

We remained weak where we needed to be strong, insensitive where we needed to be sensitive.

One of the pillars of foreign policy should be strategic and security interests. Atal Behari Vajpayee worshipped both - Shakti and Shanti.

Need to revive the legacy of Atal Bihari Vajpayee, to build a strong India that'll have a productive relation with the world.

No country has suffered more from terrorism than India.

It is central to our foreign policy that terrorism is driven from abroad.

In the past 50 years, in all world forums, Pakistan has been able bring Kashmir to the centrestage. Atalji brought the focus to terrorism and those countries supporting terrorism were isolated.

In the recent past our approach against terrorism has been weak. Modern warfare will be proxy wars - this includes cyber attacks.

Higher walls made by human lives will not be enough, made by human minds are also not enough - what we need is walls of hearts against such attacks. And this is where India's strengths lie.

Strong economy is the driver of an effective foreign policy. We have to put our own house in order that the world gets attracted to us.

This will give us the bargaining power at some point of time.

Once the PM was going to the G8, and I wrote to him saying why can't India form its own club? I had mooted the idea of all countries which can garner solar energy - but you know what would have happened.

Very important to know what we can give to the world. We are living in times where relationships are based on give and take. How can we create an India where the world would come to us?

Medical tourism to India must be promoted. Yoga, Ayurveda and holistic health care is our old strength. Tourism is a huge economic activity in the present times - about 3 trillion dollars worldwide.

Terrorism divides, tourism unites. With minimum investment you can give maximum jobs in the tourism sector. With our youth power, we can service the whole world.

If China gets in, we're watching... when Pakistan decapitates our soldiers, we're waiting...

People don't know who is running the country - all this is happening because there is no seriousness.Our Foreign Minister reads the speech of another country - what a shame! After three-four pages he realised, he is India's foreign minister.

Our Foreign Minister goes to China and says he wants to stay on in Beijing. I wish such people stay on in Beijing, we don't need them.

Mere desh ka videsh mantra - Beijing ki aarti utarega kya. That isn't a policy, that is a mockery - and this has to change.

We have to show the world that India is powerful. India is not only Delhi. India is made up of its people and not politicians in Delhi.

We have 30 states - each state needs to take care of one country in the world. Globally you'll have close relations with at least 30 countries in the world.

Nothing is difficult is you have vision, strategy and will to implement.

Why can't international conferences be held in states? Every one comes to Delhi and goes back.

If you hold a conference in Banaras, at least the city will be cleaned.

We have great people-to-people relations in the world - In Russia they don't understand tea or door - they understand chai and dwar.

If 30 countries in the world bat for us, we need to be afraid of no one.

Indians abroad are our biggest ambassadors, we have to make use of them in this area more actively.

We have to take better care of them more actively - the colour of passports may change but blood ties never do.

We have to take better care of Indian origin people when they are in trouble like the Tamils in Sri Lanka.

The magnetic power of India lies in its culture and traditions . Also we are the biggest democracy in the world.

The present century will be Asia's century. In that sense, we would be able to contribute towards that.

It is our responsibility that the next century will be India's century. Let us together work for a bold India and a better world, a harmonious neighbourhood and a safer world.

Solution for heavy T-Nagar congestion

De-congesting T-Nagar:

T-Nagar is one of the Crowed retail market Area in chennai. People in South India especially Chennaitians will know how much crowd will be there in T Nagar. If it's Festival season no words to say about it. It will take hours to travel from end to another end of Ranganathan Street in T-Nagar where some of reputed shops are present.

Because of Street Vendors in T-Nagar this congestion problem is getting worst in day by day. So now Chennai Corporation Taken steps to De-congestion of T-Nagar by relocating Street Vendors.

Chennai Corporation's New Shopping complex T-Nagar:

The Chennai corporation will open its new shopping complex at T. Nagar with an aim to decongest Panagal Park, a highly crowded retail market area, especially during festivities. Street vendors are seeking more time to vacate the pavements and occupy the complex.

The corporation has been insisting that the vendors take their positions inside the building, but the vendors say that the fitting of shutters and other structures was still on.

“The corporation has randomly allocated the position of vendors from various places, and hence, we need to protect our goods. Around 529 shops out of 643 are fitted with shutters. Once all the shops are fitted thus, and other plywood structures erected, we will occupy the space,” said S. Kannan, secretary, Thyagaraya Salai Street Vendors Welfare Association.

“We have asked time till Deepavali as getting into the complex now could hit our profit as people may not be aware of the new building,” he added.

“I always prefer window shopping and T. Nagar is the best place to do that,” said D. Prashanth Kumar, a college student.

“When all the vendors are gathered inside the building it would free us from walking long distances for finding our favourite items,” he added.

Conclusion:

Its very good news for daily shoppers in T-Nagar, hopefully it may reduce congestion in T-Nagar and also help our fellow chennaitians and other shoppers to shop better.

How to Undo Sent mail in Gmail

Sending mail became our Routine process in our daily life. When we think about sending mail First Gmail strikes our mind. Almost every internet user have Gmail Account, Most of us have more than one Gmail account.

We use to send mail everyday and sometimes we will realize our mistake after pressing send button.

Common Mistake we Do

Pressing the send button wrongly
Typing the wrong email address
Forgot attaching the file
Attaching wrong files
Forgot to check before sending and so on......

So Gmail Introduced a New Feature to undo sent or sending mails, below we will see step by step process to enable this.

Steps

1. GOTO to Gmail

Click Gmail

2. Now Click on Gear Button in top right Corner of the screen and Select Settings

Click on Gear Button

Click on Settings button

3. Now in the Settings page Click on Labs Tab after that you can see below window now just enable Undo Send.

Click On Lab Button after that use can see above window

Note: if you cant find Undo Send just Scroll down otherwise type undo send in above search box.

That's it Undo Feature is enabled in your gmail account now u can undo or cancel the mail u sent

Varying Send Cancellation Period

Send Cancellation Period is nothing but a Time Delay (Default 10sec) to Undo a Sent mail After message has been sent that is you have 10 seconds to undo the mail after it has been sent. You can also set the time delay period manually just look at the picture below.

After Enabling Undo Sent mail feature in Labs Tab now press General Tab. Now you can see enabled undo send feature in that window below that you can see send cancellation period now set it from 5sec to 30sec as per your wish.

Thats it now you don't need to worry about the mail you sent wrongly, you have 30sec (maximum) to undo it.

When someone raised question about women safety in India yes the question is unanswered. Nobody cares not a single good safety measures have taken by our government. Even if they taken not implemented and followed well and it never reaches the public nobody gets the punishment and bribe plays a huge role in it.

Women is a beautiful creature by nature without women we are nothing. We praise women in public protest against rapist, abusers and other criminals but when its come to our family members we criticise them for small reasons as a men we always trying to keep them one step below to us. This is totally a bad character and this is one of the main reasons why women feel so week and its continuing generation to generation.

Rape In India

Rape is one of the most common crime against women in India. Over 24,000 rape cases are pending in India and many unnoticed. How can we stop this? the answer is we cant stop this but we can protect ourselves. Lets see some of the Major Noticeable Rape Incidents in India.

Kunan Poshpora Incident

The Kunan Poshpora Incident occurred on 23rd Feb 1991 in Kashmir. Atleast 53 women were gang raped by Indian Army that night. Human Rights organization reported that the number of cases could be as high as 100 and they registered a case against them but our government rejected the allegation as baseless.

Delhi Gang Rape Incident

This is a well known incident. The Delhi Gang rape incident was occurred on 16 Dec 2012. The Victim a 23 year old girl and her male friend were on their way home on the night of 16 December 2012 after watching the film they boarded a bus and only 6 others are their in the bus including driver. The girl's friend beaten by those people and they raped her, she was serious injured and died. Police arrested all the six criminals.

Gurgaon: Two men gangrape 23-year-old girl in a moving car

Two men allegedly gangraped a 23-year-old girl in a moving car in Sohna near Gurgaon. According to the victim, she came with her friend Devendra in his SUV from Delhi to Gurgaon for shopping. A friend of Devendra was also in the car, she said. She added that they went to Sahara mall for shopping. After the shopping Devendra reportedly told the girl that his sister lives in Sohna and he needs to visit her to hand over her ATM card. The girl alleged that as she knew Devendra so she trusted him and even though it was getting dark, she went with her to Sohna.

The police have arrested one of the accused named by the victim while the others are still absconding.

However, on the way they stopped the car in a secluded place and gangraped her. Later, they threw the girl and fled from the spot. The girl some how managed to reached her home on Tuesday and informed her family and the police. After her medical report confirmed rape, police registered a case against both the accused and arrested Devendra. But his accomplice is absconding and police teams are carrying out raids to apprehend him.

The above cases are just a trail, there is n number of cases never came out. Still Indian government making arrangements to stop rapes but never taken any strict action. Government taking steps at one side, we protesting at other side in social networks and in streets but criminals committing rapes without any problem.

Women trafficking in India

Women and girls are trafficked in India for the purposes of commercial sexual exploitation and forced marriage especially in those areas where the sex ratio is highly skewed in favour of men. A significant portion of children are subjected to forced labour as factory workers, domestic servants, beggars, and agriculture workers, and have been used as armed combatants by some terrorist and insurgent groups. We wont pay much attention to these kind of incidents because already raping incidents are rocking the India loudly.

Safety Measures for Women

1) What should a woman do if she finds herself alone in the company of a strange male as she prepares to enter a lift in a high-rise apartment late at night?

Experts Say: Enter the lift. If you need to reach the 13th floor, press all the buttons up to your destination. No one will dare attack you in a lift that stops on every floor.

2) What to do if a stranger tries to attack you when you are alone in your house, run into the kitchen.

Experts Say: You alone know where the chili powder and turmeric are kept.And where the knives and plates are. All these can be turned into deadly weapons. If nothing else, start throwing plates and utensils all over.

Let them break. Scream. Remember that noise is the greatest enemy of a molester. He does not want to be caught.

3} Taking an Auto or Taxi at Night.

Experts Say: Before getting into an auto at night, note down its registration number. Then use the mobile to call your family or friend and pass on the details to them in the language the driver understands .Even if no one answers your call, pretend you are in a conversation. The driver now knows someone has his details and he will be in serious trouble if anything goes wrong. He is now bound to take you home safe and sound. A potential attacker is now your de facto protector!

4}What if the driver turns into a street he is not supposed to – and you feel you are entering a danger zone?

Experts Say: Use the handle of your purse or your stole (dupatta) to wrap around his neck and pull him back. Within seconds, he will feel choked and helpless. In case you don’t have a purse or stole just pull him back by his collar. The top button of his shirt would then do the same trick.

5} If you are stalked at night.

Expert Say: enter a shop or a house and explain your predicament. If it is night and shops are not open, go inside an ATM box. ATM centers always have security guards. They are also monitored by close circuit television.

Fearing identification, no one will dare attack you.

After all, being mentally alert is the greatest weapon you can ever have.

How we can teach our children about good and bad touch. Lets see now

Teaching Difference between Good/Bad touches to our children

There are three things you can teach your children before you begin to teach them specific touching safety rules.

1. Teach children the correct names of all their different body parts, including their private body parts.

2. Teach children that "You are the boss of your body.": no one can touch you without your permission and you can refuse if you don't like being touched by some one .

3. Explain to your child that there are three kinds of touches.

Safe touches.

Unsafe touches. for example, hitting, pushing, pinching, and kicking). Teach children that these kinds of touches are not okay.

Unwanted touches.

Touching Safety Rules

Once children can name their private body parts and know about different kinds of touches, you can teach them that there is another kind of unsafe touch that is also not okay. This kind of touch is when someone older or bigger touches their private body parts. How you explain this will depend on the age of your child.(tell only parents or doctor can touch to keep them clean and healthy )

Teach your children the following safety rules:

• It is not okay to touch someone else's private body parts.

• It is not okay for someone to touch his or her own private body parts in front of you.

• It is not okay for someone to ask you to touch his or her private body parts.

• It is not okay for someone to ask you to take your clothes off or to take photos or videos of you with your clothes off.

• It is not okay for someone to show you photos or videos of people without their clothes on.

If someone touches you inappropriately, tell them to inform parents what has happened. Don't let threats scare them into running away or keeping quiet.

• It is a bad touch if it hurts child.

• It is a bad touch if someone touches child on his/her body where they don't want to be touched.

• It is a bad touch if a person touches them in a way that makes them feel uncomfortable.

If it is male kid (10-11) you wont have much issue .For female kids if you are sure that you don't have any bad feelings act normal and don't let this feeling over shadow you r act. but keep in mind above points.

We have seen some safety measures for both women and children but as a human what we can do. Lets see below

1) If you saw someone misbehaving to a girl or children question them with the help of other public immediately call police and make sure is that person well known to the victim or not, speak with the victim and try to inform to the victim's parents immediately.

2) If you saw someone capturing photos/videos of a girl/children without her knowledge immediately inform them, call police and punish them.

3) If you saw child under 14 working in hotels, shops or somewhere. Call that child and enquire what he is doing their? where their parents living? does he going to school? and immediately speak with he shop or hotel owner and hand over the child to the police they will take care reach his/her parents
