Today was a first for The ZA Show Podcast. The show was done live on uStream. It was hugely successful. This is what 4mbps of broadband can do for you.

Petrol stations in SA are accepting credit cards as payment for fuel.
Reservations for the period during the 2010 World Cup at the Kurger Park were booked out in 2 hours.
Table Mountain made it through to the top 77 for the new seven wonders of nature.

Hi folks,

There hasn’t been a show for sometime now, but I thought I’d chime in to say that one is well on its way. A slower rate of shows coming out is usually a sign that things are eventually going to come to an end, but in this case, it is not true - for now, that is.

With the 2010 World Cup only a year from now, putting a stop to The ZA Show is something that I wouldn’t do very lightly, actually not at all. I’ll rather release a show once a month or so, than stop the whole thing altogether.

I really hope that you continue to listen in and keep up-to-date on everything that is going down in SA.

Bridgitte joins us on the show and we kick off with feedback on the South African elections.
This past weekend we visited the town of Montagu. We were treated to the hospitality of Mimosa Lodge for the weekend. Highly recommended from us here at The ZA Show. An episode of ZATV of our weekend is to follow soon, so keep an eye open on the site.
On Saturday, we went on a farm tour and wine tasting at Weltevrede Wine Farm near Bonnievale.
On our way home, we stopped at Birds Paradise for Josh to experience the farm animals.

It is time for another video from The ZA Show Podcast. And believe it or not, but it took me a day to edit it down and have it ready for you.

This is a vid of our roadtrip to and from PodcampSA in Bloemfontein. Jan Folmer and myself drove up for the event, which is a smashing 1,000km away from Cape Town. We drove up on Friday and came back on Sunday.

But sharing the views from the road, the Karoo and everything else is what this is all about.

I got a comment from listerner Herc informing me that his copy if iTunes downloaded show #54 as The Daily Breakfest with Fr Roderick. He sent me video evidence indicating that this was the case. I would like to know if any of you received an invalid episode instead of #54 of The ZA Show.

I am going to escalate this to Libsyn support.

Edit: I got the following response from Libsyn and it was due to a problem on their side.

I’m sorry to say that we did have a short spell (around an hour) where people may have been getting the wrong files. We addressed this issue as soon as we realized it was happening and had it fixed in short order.

Hi all ZA Show Listeners.

The feed for the ZA Show got screwed up because the author of the show is specified as “Glen & Bridgitte” and for some reason, Libsyn didn’t escape the “&” sign. For now, I’ve changed the author and removed the “&” and replaced it with “and”. I’l lbe taking this up with Libsyn and iTunes will be updated as soon as possible.
