One word, awesome!
AFA X this time was super awesome except for the buying tickets part.
It was a disaster, people are queueing from one convention hall until the next two or something.
I thought they should do back that pre-ordering ticket way.
Anyway,
AFA X = 2(last year amount of people) + 2(last year entrance fee)
AFA really made it BIG, huh!

I didn't go in though, no more bucks! >.< I saw one of the butler, he got a blondish brown hair and I knew that was the hottest one lol! :P There was another short hair one and he is pretty cute too ^^ but too bad, no more bucks.

Takashimaya selling cushions and domos. I want the domo cushions but I got no more bucks! :< because of the concert.

I was really really surprised to see so many booth selling figures!! I guess now having a GSC nendoroid won't be that a big deal anymore.

The GSC booth flooded with BRS and K-on.

Fanpower is scary.
Cospa booth was selling this k-on phone straps.
The 5 k-on girls were still there when I saw the booth then I went walk walk around.
When I came back, Azunyan, Mio and Yui were gone!
I was like oh man, expected.
I thought Mugi will forever be there since she and Ritsu were always together.
I went to atm and when I came back again, Mugi was gone!
LOL, in the end I got Ritsu.
C'mon people, show Ritsu some love! Stop discriminating her!

So I got a BRS tee, a Ritsu phone strap and keychain ^^
I went for the Angela, Scandal and May'n concert, they are all so so awesome!
I was jumping and shaking my red light stick like mad lol.
Now I got sore limbs.

Oh man, I can't believe I haven't blog for this whole holidays.
But c'mon, 3/4 of my holidays went to my part-time job.
I only went for shopping for like twice..?
Photoshooting for like once..!
Just managed to finish making a set for one of my figures but haven't got the time to photoshoot it.
Finished sketching a artwork but haven't gotten it CG yet.
BTW, I seriously don't know how to photoshop at all. Layer mask? Adjustments?
But well, at least I know how to cut and paste and eraser!
Oh, I know how to lasso too!

I MAKE A NEW BANNER! AND IT IS FULL OF DOMOISM!

I am currently working on a new project myself - to take photos of Domo.
Just Domo.
Nothing more, nothing less.
But of course, it will be Domo and something else.
I am sure you don't want to see just 2 circle, a rectangle and 8 triangles in a photo.
That definitely bores you and bores me too.
I will try to upload a photo of Domo everyday.
P.S My target is to have 365 photos of Domo and make a photobook!
So it is kind of like a adventure of Domo.
I am really serious about photography now,
so all the photos that you see here will be on fully manual - from settings to focusing from now on.
Because I am super inspire by my teacher of my photopgraphy module.
He is a photojournalist!!
That is my dream you know,

I have always always love Yuya's "Trust me", ending song for Durarara!!

But what I really felt in love with is his second track in the Trust Me single, "Futari". It's a super sad song, just love the solo piano music.

Yuya is a Jpop, R&B singer. He can dance too, in fact he dances in all of his MV!

His voice is really special, and just nice that all of his songs are my type, you know those songs that goes at a little fast pace but have super touching chorus :D

Although despite being a mad fangirl of Yuya, I never knew how he actually looked like until yesterday, just yesterday when I got itchy fingers and youtube his "trust Me" MV lol :P And then, I was like OMGGGGGGG, he is so cool.
OMG.

I always thought that he is some shaved head guy with baggy pants and some hip-hop clothes lol and he goes "yoyoyo man". But okay, I was so wrong.

Yuya is only 20 this year, he debut with his first single, "Foolish Foolish" at the age of 18. Yuya's mother didn't support his idea of being a singer so he went all the way to New York to persuade her. Yuya was only brought up but his mother and grandma. So, he is really super close to his mother.

But wow, idols this days are really starting out younger and younger.

Natsu Matsuri 2010

This is my first time to Natsu Matsuri!! Everything is just sooooo Japan except that they actually play ang mo songs throughout the event where one of my super Japan devoted friend actually went mad and started cursing lol :P

This is me and my friend, Jasmin! I am the one wearing a yukata, a really weird one lol. There is like only one of it in this world because.. it is handmade by me! :D

There will be some making of the yukata pics at the end of the post!

Natsu Matsuri is actually the summer festival of Japan. You know those that you will always see in anime, the ones with those fireworks, cotton candy, choco banana then some eechi things will happen lol.

It is kind of like a pasar malam of Singapore, thats the impression it left on me. Except that everything is Japan versioned and feel alot more classy.

Kawaii! This little girl was standing very very infront of the stage and she was mimicking what the performers were doing!

The amount of people here is really super amazing. I was really doubting if this little Japanese primary school at Changi is able to hold up so much people or not.

Alot of tables around for dine dine. But guess what? The tables might be there but the food might not be there. The food are really selling at super fast speed. I think the candy apple was sold out like in 30 mins lol?

Many stalls around, mainly selling Japanese food like candy apples, takoyaki, yakitori, bentos, cotton candy, choco bananas etc.

Night time comes and the mass dance is finally here! I only danced to YMCA lol. I know they did a ponyo song dance but i forgot what I was doing at that time.

This is the Japanese games corner. Need to get tickets to play.

I played the balloon yoyo game! I bought two tries but only got one lol, I saw those little kids, they are like super pro at playing this! They were all like carrying a bunch of them on their hands. I am super bad at pratical games :P

Alright, time to pack up and today is soon to be gone in a flash!

Me again lol! Okay, actually there is susposed to be a white flower on my hair but I dropped it and my japanese fan that I stucked behind my obi also dropped lol, what a droppy day.

There was this Japanese lady that helped me to tie my obi. When she took my obi and wanted to tie on me she was giggling then she said, "you make this yourself right?" I was like "Wow! Sharp eyes!" My threads are all sticking out lol.

Hey but it is nice right! We spent like 1 super tedious week to make it in school. We saw the sun and moon then the sun and the moon again then again!

All cameea shy shy! But our efforts really paid off :D

All thanks to Zhao Han sensei who screamed at us and teaching us how to make yukata! A guy teaching girls how to sew lol! What's with the world today?

Jealousy is Dead Master .

Have been super busy with school and didnt have any strength left to blog! But I think I am back on track now :D but seriously, school + cca + part-time job is a KILLER!! Thanks god holidays are finally smiling at me. Anyway, I am having an extreme makeover for the blog, so be surprised! :D

I watched Huke's Black Rock Shooter just some days ago. All the earthlings have been going schizo for months just for this! AND IT'S FINALLY HERE!!

Some find it disappointing, some can't understand the story. I am on the latter lol.

So.. the whole story is about jealousy? It seems to me that it is because of the feeling of jealousy that turns Yomi into Dead Master.

In the world where BRS and Dead Master are in, it is like a totally different dimension - a dimension of the mind. It is as if Yomi and Mato are playing jealousy in and it is being expressed in the world of BRS and Dead Master.

But then, why did Yomi physically disappeared?

Uhhh, I really don't get the whole thing!

At first when I saw Mato, I keep praying that she is not BRS, she must not be BRS because she is really too Yui! She is totally going to ruin my image of BRS lol :P

Mato is really kind of lame but she was the first to talk to Yomi.

Then ta~daa, of course they became best friends.

There are all these random fighting scenes floating around however, they are super cool so nobody really minds the anachronism.

Actually this fighting scenes are kind of like a premonition, you see BRS and Dead Master fighting so there is definitely going to have something on with Mato and Yomi later.

But I don't get why the gold saw girl is appearing in this episode?

Yuu appears and keep sticking to Mato.

Then Yomi gets jealous! Jealousy is definitely the scariest thing on Earth.

Yomi got left out and all.. then she just vanish into thin air.

Mato was super sad but went on to find Yomi.

She became BRS and defeated Dead Master,

and got Yomi back.

BRS and Mato are two different person..? It was shown that they kind of sync together but it's like BRS is just lending Mato a helping hand. So Mato is not BRS?

At the end, the two best friends are back together however, Yuu is becoming Strength because she is jealous of the two?

Uhhh, why is this sooo hard to understand!! >.<

My B★RS Sneakers !

I spent my whole morning today painting away this old Converse sneakers into a Black★Rock Shooter sneakers! (okay, not really ^^;)

YAY! It's all done now! :D

I did a really simple design for this as actually, this sneakers itself already has a printed design on it and it is damn damn ugly which is the sheer reason why I wanted to paint this sneakers !

Okay, this is how it will look like when you put your feets in it and walk !
Cool right? :D

I dont even know why I bought this !!

I used black & white acrylic paint, a cup of water and a few brushes to change the life of this pair of sneakers. I took about 4 hours to paint this !

I did a checkered design on the inner side of the shoes because I always see Huke's background for B★RS is always checkered so I just followed lol.

Okay, I covered up that ugly logo with a B★RS fanart badge . I wanted to paint over it with my own chibi B★RS but apparently I couldn't. Oow, too bad .

This is the back which reads "Buraku★Roku Shuutaa" which means "Black★Rock Shooter".
Oh crap, I totally forgot about the mirror image theory!! Now the words are read in the same way :(

This is the front. I love my shoelaces!! They are damn cool, it's half black half white which I dyed it myself :D

This is the B★RS fanart badge which I bought at the EOY convention last year. Forgot who the artist was ^^;

HAHAHA, lucky I remembered to mirror image the titles here !

This is the Domo shoes I did last time which was my first time lol. It melted back into a nice pair of brown sneakers after wearing it to my orientation camp where the seniors drown us with water from the 4th floor all the way down before saying byebye to us. :(

So next time please don't use a topcoat, use a FIXATIVE !

Okay, I can't say this is nicely done but at least it is not badly done right? My finishing always suck ! And I don't really know if I should outline the title to highlight it out, hmmmm.

Streetfest 2010 Cosplay

Ooow, it has been like super loooong since I last blogged ! I am getting all rusty, hopes my D90 didn't grow any mushrooms on it.

Now is finally my school holidays. FINALLY! WOOHOO! Okay, it's just one week but am still very happy about it! I am going to bring ALL my K-ON nenodroids out for a nice photoshoot picnic and okay, all the other figures I got from since April. Will write more about my new poly school life soon ! :D

This is Streetfest that is still taking place now at Plaza Singapura's open plaza. The Japanese pop-culture has ended though. There's still some cool punk street stuff going on though!

Durarara! I quite like this anime, it's just so supernatural even the title says so!

We play catching during recess,
we make fun of teachers,

we celebrate each other's birthday after school,
we play with handphones under the table,
we dont hand in homework on time,
we skip chinese remedial classes,
we use CME class as talk-cock session,
we always refill water at the period just after recess,
we dont follow class duty,
we sigh when a particular science teacher always come to take over our class,
we always guess if Zhe Yi or Golf gets first in class,
we always laugh when Si Yong read out loud in English class,
we always push the carry-the-files-to-staff-room duty to Edison,
we play poker behind the class,
we play chap-teh when teacher goes to toilet,
we put 6 tables together and play ping-pong,
we make paper balls to shoot into the recycling box and,
we make the floor full of rubbish where,
we get Mother Tan chasing us with broomstick,
we always get teachers screaming at us,
we were always late for physics class and,
we see our physics teacher face black black together.

We chiong together in the library when O Level is coming,
we snatch teachers to ask TYS questions,
we sit in the same hall and,
we kill our braincells together,
we wait together for our results.

We prayed hard,
we studied hard,
we played hard,
we cried hard.

Now, the year of us is over.

I Painted A Domo Shoes

Decided to do an experiment on painting canvas shoes and here it is! DOMO. I kind of think I suceeded? :D

Peek-A-BOOOOO!

This is just my old Converse sneakers so I was like "Fail? Throw. Suceed? Wear."

So I didnt even do any sketch on the shoes and just start to paint it off!

Aint that bad isnt it? But the domos I painted are of really weird shapes and sizes lol !

Hmm.. cant really count how long I spent on doing this. I know I started out in the afternoon and ended it late at night.. oh wait, was it the next morning?

Because I keep taking breaks midway lol ! But I know it is surely more than 5 hrs!

I didnt spray an undercoat, just started painting it off with acrylic paint (those for gundams one lol) and I painted them not with a marker pen but paintbrushes, you know? How difficult was that! After that, spray a layer of topcoat and YAY!!

A few days ago, I stole my bro's table light and my living room's floor light to do a mini indoor studio. I really dunno anything about lighting so just anyhow setup one :P

This is the GSC Miku! The lighting is too strong here, didnt use a diffuser!

I didnt even have a proper space for it!! Have to clear all those million years worth of rubbish that have accumulated on my homework table. Guess I need to do alot of trail and error for my perfect indoor shoot ^^;

Last sunday, I went to the Haw Par Villa with two monkeys. Monkey no.1 was asking me to go the what-what-what villa, I dont really know what he is blabbering, he just said its a villa full of ancient thingies so I just went ahead. It turned out to be the 虎豹别墅 which my mum brought me there before when I was a little kid!

Although it is a sunny yellow banana sunday, there is really no people, really almost no people. But at least us three are still people.

Had a yummy beef kebab for lunch at Fig&Olive, a restuarant at Vivocity. Kebad? Looks like popiah to me lol!

Hands tired. Legs numbed. Fingers broke. Eyes one open, one closed. Head crooked. This is what I get by carrying a 60cm Domo, a Shana paperbag and a backpack while taking photos with a SLR camera. And also, trying to find a spot to look at May'n! Hey but, this two days at AFA were super awesome! I will just report with the cosplay..

Went to the Moe Moe Kyun cafe with my friends. Look at the price o.O; definitely not for poor people like me!

We accidentally heard one little conversation from the group of guys queueing infront, its quite bad but is totally quite true:

Guy A: *looks at menu* OMG! It's expensive!
Guy B: Huh? C'mon! Nobody came here to eat, we came here to *eh hem* only. The food doesnt matter!

We still went in however, it's 1 cheescake = 3 people. But it tastes yummy! The mango sauce is nice! Can be compared to starbucks :D but still like their oreo cheesecake more.

I went to the Singapore Toy, Games and Comics Convention (STGCC) at Suntec City with my usual foursome gang ^^ was a great break from studying like mad for my O's XD

This bumble bee is totally awesome! His eyes can *blink* *blink*!! Not your usual cardboards which always drop off an arm or a leg in the middle of no where and need masking tape to the rescue.

I hope my ears are still functioning well; I heard K-ON! songs coming from bumble bee!? (o.O)

LOL! I am sure you can guess who is he from ^^; His IGN is SiaoSoul, went to ask him his lvl and he said he is 111.

SHINE Youth Festival Cosplay

Yesterday was the SHINE Youth Festival at the area infront of Ngee Ann City at Orchoad Road. It was a very sunny sunny saturday with hordes of people flooding down the road. When I reach there, I seriously dunno what was happening ^^;

Only a couple of anime cosplayers were there, most of them are your superheroes.

There were some cosplay competitions and events going on the stage but I was actually going around shopping rather than staying there ^^; so missed out some stuff.

Some street performances going on. This band performed the Mr Brown's "Wash Your Hands too", a song parody from Wonder Girls's "Nobody". Everyone was like staring at them when they hear those lyrics lol.

The main event of today is actually this Mascot Parade where the partcipants march from Wisma Atria back to Ngee Ann City.

OMG. This was the second time those feelings of "dunno what I am taking" came back since the speech day photographing for my school. For god's sake, I really dunno what I was taking, I just kept pressing the shutter.

To be honest, there wasn't really anything that exciting beside the cosplay thingy so left early because friends are bored too ^^; And to add it up, we went to our rounds of shopping throughout the event ^^;

Saw the K-ON! manga at Kinokuniya and quickly grabbed it home! XD Anyways beside the books is the SHINE bandana whicb was used in the event to break record of most number of people wearing it. Where I left early ^^;
