I and the team over at www.fragtopia.co.uk have pretty much finished up the site now. Just some minor tweaks here and there plus adding some features to make the site more user friendly. We just need more members really. We have quite a few active ones that we appreciate but the more the merrier! So if anyone is reading this and is a gamer on any platform go ahead and give us a visit, sign up and introduce yourself.

I’m going to start my running again today. I need to keep my fitness up it made me feel better when I used to do it before. Going to slowly get back into press ups and sit ups as well gradually doing more. I can still do them easily but I don’t want to over do it.

Anyway .. less of the blogging going to watch the rest of Scarface and go to sleep. Night!

I went to the doctors Friday to get off of my medication I have been on for a long time to deal with my anxiety and depression. I am finally off them now for good. I stopped taking them on my own accord about a month ago now. I feel so much better and more confident since I’ve came off them which is weird. I was relying on them too much I think. What makes me happier about being off them is Rosie is proud of me :) She knows and has helped me quite a bit since I’ve been on them and I didn’t tell her at first as I didn’t think more of it. When I told her she was shocked and knowing she is proud of me just makes me so happy it’s unreal! :) I’ve also come off my sleeping tablets as I was having problems sleeping but I have a few left if I need to take them but after that no more.

Just in the process of moving Fragtopia over to our new web hosting at the moment and installing the forums. So glad we have new hosting thanks Elliot for offering us it at that nice price! We were getting sick of all the downtime on our old host but that won’t happen anymore with our new one thank god. It hopefully will draw in more users. If you haven’t checked out Fragtopia yet you can at www.fragtopia.co.uk our site isn’t up yet but once our forums our I will tweet it and the url will be www.fragtopia.co.uk/forums/ main page will be up as soon as possible but we need the forums up before anything to get everyone signed up again.

Anyway phew! That was one big update.. hope you like the new theme and I’ll try update again in a couple of days.

A couple of my favourite moments have to be spending the day at Penzance with Rosie to celebrate our 8 months together. I got burnt to a crisp but I don’t mind it was an amazing and romantic day together. :) Second thing has to be meeting little Lucas. He is Rosie’s little nephew who hasn’t been too well since he was born. He came home on Wednesday! I bet and know Rosie’s brother (Richard) & Chrissy are over the moon!! So happy for them both!

Anyway to wrap it up I’ve had a fantastic two weeks with you Rosie. You’re the best person in my life and the world. Don’t know what I’d do without you. Thank you for making these past two weeks so special to me. I love you Rosie Ann Sutton ♥ I miss you like crazy already.

Words can’t even explain how excited I am… got butterflies. Come on today go a little faster please? I want to see my gorgeous girlfriend, thank you.

First of all I get to see Rosie on either Friday or Saturday for at least a few days yey! I’m so excited I actually have butterflies in my stomach already!! I miss her so much she’s my world. Can’t imagine my life without her. As you may have noticed I include her in many of my blog posts. :) I may be going down to Cornwall to with Rosie to her house for a week or two hopefully if the job centre let me. (Fingers crossed). I really want to go down there and spend some time with Rosie.

Well anyway if you’ve just read the above about the job centre well I’m on job seekers allowance now. Still waiting for my claim to process but hopefully it will be done sometime next week. Looking for jobs sucks but it must be done I need the money till I’m back at college.

Thirdly and finally I launched a new website with a couple of friends Sam & Simon for gamers who enjoy a good community and a place to share and discuss your thoughts on the gaming world. Here’s come the bad part of the night… I was walking home drunk out of my skull when about 6 people decide to jump me, beat me up a little bit then steal my phone. The irony out of it all is I was walking off angry and shook up and one of them hands me my phone back. Who the hell does that?! So basically I got beat up for fuck all! Still a little annoyed about it. My nose is killing me I’m going to have to get it checked out tomorrow at the walk in centre in town cause hopefully it’s not broken. I think it’s just badly bruised but better to get it looked at.

I want to put the worry of Rosie’s mind. I wish she could be here right now. Missing her so much and then this happens I need her. :( Oh well not long now she’s coming up next weekend I can’t wait! When I wake up I got to tell her my Nan said it’s ok to stay. :D

Anyway I’m off to get some well deserved rest. Good night.

Just had a long msn convo with evilmunky (check out his twitter). He is one top guy! I shouldn’t of stayed up this late… I need to be up for 8, DOH. Oh well lie in tomorrow woo! Got to sort my sketchbook out over the weekend and hand it in Tuesday for my final marks then I’m done. Still considering going back for a year or two to get some more qualifications. Still not sure which college to go for… so hard!

Anyway I’m signing off.. going to wake Rosie up in the morning she wants me to call her :) love talking to Rosie when I first open my eyes makes my day so much better! Good night readers of my boring blog!

So yeah  if anyone was wondering why I hadn’t updated that’s why I’ve just been so busy and totally forgot about my blog if I’m honest. I’ll try update as much as possible. Once I’m done with college it won’t be so bad I’ll be updating a lot more. Anyway I’m off to stuff my face because I’m starving and download episode one of True Blood season 3. I’m been waiting for season 3 for months I’m such a Trubie! I love it. Vampires, shape shifters and much more epic! I’ll let you know what I think of episode one but for now I’m signing off, good night.

So here we have it. Johnny Depp and Tim Burton’s take on Lewis Caroll’s Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland. This adaptation is a contrast between Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland and Alice Through the Looking Glass. Mia Wasikowska plays 19 year old Alice. In this adaptation, she is a lot older than we remember with the story taking place years later than the original. She is to be engaged to a dunce English nobleman who she does not love or have any interest in.

While she is at her engagement party she runs away from the crowd of people around her to decide whether or not the marriage is what she wants. She sees a white rabbit and thinks she is going mad, (as she does not recall the past, she recollects it as a dream). As she is running away she chases after it and accidentally falls down the rabbit hole in the garden in what it seems she is falling to her death but lands in a surreal world named ‘Wonderland’ known to everyone else as ‘Underland’. The world reminds her somewhat of what she experienced in her recurring dreams. Little did she know these dreams were but a memory of what had happened in the past.

Entering ‘Wonderland’ she is unaware she must free them from the Red Queen ruling Wonderland making life hell from everyone. She must free them by slaying the evil Jabberwocky. Alice finds it hard to believe that this is not a dream, she realises very near to the end after accepting to slay the Jabberwocky that Underworld depends on her and soon believes that this world is reality, not a dream anymore.

One thing I loved about this film was it very dark all the way through adding Tim Burton’s signature to the film along with Linda Woolverton’s script this was almost perfect although some parts of the film felt a little too Disney for me. I can’t say I dislike Disney in anyway but I would have loved for it to have had an even darker touch to it.

My favourite character of all had to be the Mad Hatter played by Johnny Depp himself. I knew as soon as I found out he was cast to play him he would do a perfect job and add his own little twist to it along with Tim Burton’s assistance in guiding him on the characters profile. The Mad Hatter is much more than mad but rather mental. His strange looking ginger hair, huge smiles and psychedelic multi coloured eyes with a Scottish accent which was close to one of a Glaswegian. His sudden movements and changes in voice show scars of the events that since Alice’s last trip to Wonderland.

To sum this movie up it’s nothing of what once was Lewis Caroll’s Alice’s Adventures to Wonderland. Other than a few hints of both Alice’s Adventures to Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass it seems something of a totally new story almost. You will find some quotations from the original in the film but the darkness and making Alice older gives it the touch of life it needed. For me this is one of those films you watch once and never again or not for a very long time anyway. I take my hat off to Tim Burton he pulled it off brilliantly as he does in all his films well done to you sir!

I had my first day back at college today. Really didn’t feel like going in… Firstly I woke up feeling really sick but I think that was my anxiety kicking in as I used to feel like that all the time when my anxiety was a lot worse than it is now. College was pretty boring. Just scanned some of my drawings in and started to work one of them up in Adobe Photoshop. That was basically my day at college how exciting!

Going to finish off watching the rest of The Shining now. It shall be the first time I have ever seen it. I know shocking! I’m going through a list of the top 50 favourite films of all time on IMDb but picking them out the ones I really want to watch first. I know it’s a really old movie but I think I might write a mini review of it tonight or tomorrow.
