Karl Lagerfeld collaborates with exclusive men’s online retailer Luisa Via Roma for the launch of his Fall/Winter 2012 Men’s Collection. Featuring t-shirts, biker jackets, jeans, and trench coats, the collection will have its first preview at the Florence store coinciding with the blogger event ‘Firenze4Ever’ happening between June 15-17. Included in the collection will also be three t-shirts made exclusively for Luisa Via Roma by Lagerfeld and England-based graphic design agency I Love Dust.

Baltimore-based photographer and founder of TYP Photography Studio, Glenford Nunez, celebrates black women and the beauty of their natural manes in his collection of portraits called ‘The Coiffure Project’. Starting as an accidental project, the photographer decided to take his photo collection of his natural hair assistant and turn it into a complete project photographing young black women who embrace their textures lovingly despite the contrasting perception of beauty popularized in the media. Using ten subjects for the first series, Nunez hopes to continue this project and will keep on the lookout for more women to photograph. Gaining fame from her vocalist career with indie rock band Gossip, Beth Ditto is probably most famous for her punk aesthetic, energetic demeanor, and adoration for dramatic and quirky makeup. So, makes sense that she would pair up with cosmetic company MAC to create her own colorful polka-dot themed makeup collection. Along with the collection, which hits stores June 7th, comes a campaign video where MAC makeup artists use their talents to create a dramatic eye effect on Ditto and cover her in polka-dots using a– get this– potato! Death In Paris is a creative studio based in Paris, France who specialize in motion and print design. The crew recently filmed a teaser for Hirschell‘s upcoming ‘Chaos Inca’ jewelry collection incorporating Technic projections. Confused? Think of it as visual explosions they put on the model’s bodies, which plays brilliantly to the dark background. Watch and you’ll see what I mean.

Normally the design takes after whatever Yohji Yamamoto’s vision is, but this time around, the Adidas Originals look is very ubiquitous. The Nomad Star Low draws inspiration from ornamental dress of nomadic tribes, and features baroque scoops that have been carved in the heel and shell-toe area. Full look below.

It all started when Jeff Gaudinet mispronounced Kate Moss’ name during a conversation that happened to involve her and skateboarding. So ‘Skate Moss’ was born, and it’s basically skate decks with images of the supermodel splattered on to it.
