The OM-D E-M5 made it to our labs last week, and after exploring it for a good 7 days, all we can say is &ndash; this camera is an   improvement over the Olympus EP3 (read our review) which had left us speechless with its fast AF, great image quality, etc. and that is saying a lot.

The XP710 can withstand drops from heights of 6.5 feet, while scoffing off water depths of up to 32 feet. Even freezing temperature of -10 degree Celsius are not enough to impact the performance of the camera.

Design-wise the camera is very reminiscent of the retro film cameras and indeed Olympus have taken the design aesthetics of their older OM series of film cameras and have fitted it with a 16.1 MP Live MOS sensor.
