Baby Y's birth story

After a long while, I have some spare time to sit down and blog about my baby Y's birth story. Memory will gradually fade away, blogging is the best way to remember some of the details.

We chose to do prenatal check-up and delivery at Tropicana Medical Centre (now rebranded as Thomson Hospital Kota Damansara) simply because it is the nearest to where we live, haha. All check-ups and delivery done under Dr. Hoo Mei Lin and we were very happy with her.

Up till around 30 weeks, baby Y seemed to be a small girl, and doctor estimated that her birth weight is going to be around 2.8kg and I was hoping for a natural birth. The baby dropped since 32 weeks, and everybody estimated she might be born a bit early. I was anxiously waiting for her arrival since 35 weeks mark, got hospital bag ready and was quite prepared for baby's arrival. Who knows the princess doesn't want to come out up until her due date. By that time, the baby already weights around 3.5kg++ and doctor gave us an option whether we want to induce the baby. My mom-in-law said I am likely to have a condition known as CPD (Cephalopelvic Disproportion), which in layman term is something like, pelvic bone being too small for baby's head to descend. So, we asked doctor whether she suspected CPD in me, and what is the failure rate of induction. Since doctor confirmed the failure rate of induction can be quite high, we agreed for a planned caesarean section at 41 weeks.

The operation theatre charges are double on public holidays, so we chose one fine Wednesday for the delivery. The doctor helped us book the OT and anaesthetist, and issued us an admission letter. The operation time is 8:00am, so we were supposed to get admitted to hospital by 5am. I was too nervous the night before and couldn't sleep. Baby Y seemed to be too eager to come out, she kept hitting my pelvic bone with her head which made me feel very uncomfortable the whole night. I was still optimistic that she will be born naturally on that night haha.

The next day at 5am, we went to emergency department for hospital admission process. The hospital charged RM10k as deposit. I was much annoyed during admission when we were told that all the single rooms were occupied and we only had an option for either 4-bedded room or a suite room. We thought of booking rooms earlier, but the doctor told us that usually rooms are available and didn't really need pre-booking. (We found out only later that since the day before our c-section was a public holiday, many mothers choose to get induced on that particular day. Hence, almost all ward rooms were occupied.) We ended up taking the suite room which was RM600/night x 2.5 nights, this was one of the reason our bill went out of budget :(

Anyway, thanks to God, the whole operation process went very smooth. I always had an extreme phobia for needles and injection, the C-section being a major surgery was a nightmare for me. I had to keep telling myself to be brave for the sake of baby as this was the scariest thing I had ever faced in my life. The operation theatre was so cold, I couldn't find my husband anywhere until after the anaesthetist came and gave me a general anaesthesia. Nurses were helpful, they alleviated my fear and a big shout out to my anaesthetist Dr. Navin for cheering me up throughout the whole surgery. Fear aside, I felt quite secure to have Dr. Navin and Dr. Hoo performing the surgery.

The surgery started around 8:10am; under general anaesthesia, half of my body was already numb. They allowed my husband to come in just a short while before the baby was taken out, I am not sure why he couldn't be with me from the start, it would have been much easier to deal with my fear :'( I was too scared up to the point that I told myself, I am never going to deliver another baby again. However, the whole surgery was very fast, all my fears and worries vanished once I heard baby Y's first cry at 8:26am. The paediatrician informed me the baby is very healthy, but I only had a glance of her. Out they went, and disappeared again :D Later I was placed in a recovery room for about half an hour which was very cold and I felt so helpless. I couldn't wait to see my baby. During that time, the paediatrician was doing checkup for the baby, and husband was sent back to the room. Only around 10am, they send me back to my room.

On the first day, I could barely move. Not sure how long did it take until general anaesthesia wears off, but i was still under heavy pain killers. Later nurses brought baby to me and a lactation consultant came to help with breastfeeding. I wasn't well-equipped with breastfeeding knowledge and it was so stressful. With the C-section pain, it was very difficult to turn sideway to breastfeed her. We tried to feed her every 1-2 hours. Baby was good at latching but my supply didn't kick in yet so we had to struggle a lot. Eventually we were worn out and sign the consent form to allow nurses to feed formula milk on the first night. I felt quite guilty but it was the only way me and my husband could catch some rest, and baby won't be too tired crying for food.

The gynae came to check on the next morning and asked me to try to walk around. She told me that if I can bare the pain on second day, I am good to go. The nurses helped me to walk down from the bed for the first time after 24 hours lying down. It was scarier than the surgery itself! 😭I couldn't remember much details except the fact that no words to describe how painful it was. So, for expecting moms who will be going through c-section, the most terrifying day is day 2! 😅

The struggle with breastfeeding continues on day 2 as well. I still couldn't figure out the best way to hold my baby, some nurses were helpful, some were not. The c-section pain become quite bearable on day 3, doctor allowed us to discharge and we went home around 5pm.

I'm not a fussy eater, so the hospital food was basically fine with me. They serve 4 meals a day, you will get to choose from three different types of food.

This is the list of items that hospital suggested you to bring. Since C-section patients need to stay in hospital a bit longer, I suggest you to bring extra newborn diapers and baby wipes too.

The hospital scheduled baby's check-up with paediatrician at one week after and mother's check-up with gynae at two weeks post-delivery. Baby Y had jaundice, she got pricked at her feet for blood test for 2 times (each 1 week apart). Luckily she was a hungry baby who drinks and poo diligently, so her jaundice level went down fast.

Baby Y is already four months now, we faced a lot of challenges as first-time parents. I shall elaborate more some time later. Parenthood is both fun and difficult at the same time, but our family become more complete with our new bundle of joy!

Halal food alternatives in Taiwan - Vegetarian meals

Since finding halal food can be quite cumbersome in Taiwan, you can go for vegetarian meals as an alternative. Most Taiwanese practice Mahayana Buddhism which recommends a strict vegetarian diet, and you can surprisingly find a lot of vegetarian eateries around Taiwan. (Some Muslims might have opinions about calling it as an halal alternative since the food were prepared by devoted Buddhist. I'm not going to discuss this, everyone has a choice.) The vegetarians in Taiwan refrain from alcohol too, so to my standard of "halal", it is sufficient. In order to survive in Taiwan, I regularly opt for vegetarian food, and I will share you some reviews and what to expect.

Before I continue, I need to emphasise the importance of asking whether any food is vegetarian (素) or not. Because the Taiwanese put lard (pig oil) and rice wine (alcohol) in most of their food, so, unless they specifically claim the food is "Vegetarian". You might think that there should not be a problem to eat the Taiwan's famous street food onion cake (蔥油餅) or the oyster omelette (蚵仔煎), chances are, most of those stalls use lard as the most basic ingredient. So, please be cautious.

The only irritating fact (for me) is that the Taiwanese vegetarian diet refrain from eating onion, garlic and chili too! It makes our choices less attractable, to be honest I don't think I can survive on them for life. But eating once in a while is still very delicious. In fact, you should slot in at least one vegetarian meal in your travel itinerary to truly enjoy local Taiwanese cuisines.

Pay-per-weight Vegetarian restaurants

Most of the vegetarian restaurants here in Taiwan charge you based on the weight of the food you eat, but the bill always come out reasonable. As of the time I am writing this, it is about 25NT$/100g of food. Two of the largest pay-per-weight Vegetarian restaurant chains are "Minder Vegetarian Restaurants （明德素食園）" and "Quan Guo Vegetarian Restaurants (全國健康素食)". Both have many branches around Taipei, for a full list of locations, please check out the map I have shared previously.

The branches nearest to major tourist attractions are :

2. Minder branch at Eslite XinYi Store (誠品信義店) Food court (if you visit the 24 hour Eslite bookstore)

3. Minder branch at QSquare Mall (京站時尚廣場) Basement 3 Food court (when you shop around Taipei Main Station or Taipei Underground Mall)

4. Minder branch at Eslite Dunnan Store (誠品敦南店) Food court (when you are around the so called "East District" of Taipei (東區))

5. Quanguo branch: few minutes walk from SoGo ZhongXiao Store (忠孝) (This one in East district too)

Let me some pictures to share with you so that you roughly can expect what the food more or less resembles:

After you select your food, you can add white rice/brown rice or porridge. This will be on a day when I am very hungry, the bill will come out around NT$200.

Some shops provide free soup, some shop doesn't. Something like this would cost less than NT$100.

The above is from one vegetarian buffet restaurant. The must eat item every time I go to these shops is turnip cake(蘿蔔糕)!

You will find vegetables in Taiwan is really fresh, besides, that island is blessed with many different types of mushrooms too.

You will be spoilt for choices, I promise! ;)

Vegetarian Fine Dining

If you fancy a vegetarian fine-dining experience, I highly recommend SuFood. They offer 4 course vegetarian meal for NT$398 (with 10% service charge). There are different choices for entrée, soup, main course, dessert and drink. Check out their website for more details. The restaurant ambience is very nice, food are quite appetizing too.

Kind reminder, please double-check whether the shops are still there prior to your trip planning because businesses in Taiwan come and go in the blink of an eye. They frequently close down some branches and open new branches.

Wherever you visit in Taiwan, you are likely to find a vegetarian restaurant. Just try to remember the word "素食" (Su4 Shi2 - don't pronounce 'su-shee'), if you don't know how to speak Mandarin, just print out that two characters, and show them to any passer-by. Taiwanese are friendly enough to help you find nearest one. Next post I shall write about food that you can actually enjoy in night markets.

Prior to moving to Taiwan, I lived in Malaysia for about 10 years thus I was spoilt for choices of halal food, which makes surviving in Taiwan a little hard for me. You can ask for menu in English. The price may have changed a bit by now, but this two shops remains the most economical eat-out place in Taipei for us 😉

The dumpling soup is my all-time favorite. The original braised-beef noodle soup (紅燒牛肉麵) is a must try here, the noodle, the beef, the soup, everything is just perfect. (But, I once tried their spicy-sour noodle (酸辣麵), it was terrible for my taste, so don't bother trying that one.😀)

Fried Potsticker (煎餃／鍋貼)

Potsticker is another name for fried dumplings, it probably is a direct translation of 鍋貼 😅 I am not really a fan of Taiwanese dumplings, the outer flour layer is too thick, I prefer Japanese gyoza. We usually order beef soup (without noodles) to eat with potstickers.

Side dishes (小菜)

You can pick your own side dishes at the counter near the entrance. They are TW$ 25 each by the time I am writing this post. Most of the side dishes are vegetables except the fried anchovies. I loved all of them: the cucumber salad, seaweed strips (海帶絲), tofu strips (豆腐絲), dried tofu(豆乾), fried bean sprouts, etc. The side dishes are very traditional Taiwanese recipes, I find them quite special. Besides, you can also order Taiwanese traditional Onion Prata (蔥抓餅) and dumpling with leek filling (韭菜煎包). Drinks option at this shop is quite limited, they only have soy milk and iced tea. In fact, Taiwanese don't really drink during meals, we usually go and drink bubble tea after meal.

This shop is right beside the first shop and serves very similar menu. The beef noodle soup is a bit oily, but the dumpling soup (湯餃) here is much better, unfortunately I don't have much photos of food from this shop.

This two shops is more of Northeastern Chinese-style cuisines. We ordered set meals with another beef noodle. The set meal includes some bread like roti prata (they called it Jin Bing), assorted vegetables in a fried egg, and beef strips fried with soy sauce. The Jin Bing taste pretty nice, quite chewy, so you are supposed to wrap fried beef and some leeks inside the Jin Bing and eat (like how they eat peking duck). Quite a memorable taste.

Steamed dumplings

The best food in this shop is their steamed dumplings. It's about NT$150 for eight pieces, the beef filling is very tender and juicy. Compare to the first two shops, the shop #3 and #4 are about double the price so we eat here less frequently. There are many others in the menu to choose from, but i haven't tried much, so I can't really recommend others.

Halal food hunting in a non-Muslim country is always challenging, Taiwan is no exception. You need to plan well not to get starved. This post is long overdue since I promised my friends to compile a list of halal food options, I will write up brief food reviews later :)

Taiwan First Impression

After a long absence from blogosphere, I am finally back!

It has been three months that I have moved to Taiwan, let me share some of my first impressions of this country. Moving to a new place is overwhelming, I am still going through my adjustment cycle. Being the first-timer in Taiwan, a lot of little things from daily life are interesting to me, though residents might find it mundane.

The language barrier

I shouldn't really be calling it a barrier, I knew enough Chinese to survive. But switching the language abruptly still stressed me out somehow. The biggest challenge for me is browsing websites and reading emails in Chinese (Taiwan use traditional Chinese). I tend to find "English" option in the websites whenever possible, only later I realized that the English versions of any website has very limited and outdated information. No choice, I have to get used to looking at Chinese characters daily. It still freaks me out whenever people called me and talked super long sentences over the phone. I am still trying to adapt the language.

Public Transport

Taipei has a much better public transport system compare to Kuala Lumpur. The MRT is so convenient and buses are quite frequent. Google Maps is my true savior commuting around Taipei, just search for any place you want to go, locate the nearest bus stop and click on it for the bus stop's name; Google Maps will give you the bus numbers that service for that particular bus stop. The trick is to alternatively check for a bus stops a few blocks away too. Finding directions and bus routes has never been easier, you are good to roam around the city with google maps. All the MRT and buses got LED display with English names for the upcoming bus/MRT stop. Buses here move at a very fast speed, you better stay alert and be careful while waiting for the bus, boarding or alighting.

Money Exchange

Back in KL and Bangkok, we can find money changers at almost every major shopping malls. But in Taipei, if you want to exchange money, you are supposed to head to a bank. Many people suggested me to exchange at airport. I thought I would get a better rate in town (which was always the case in Malaysia!) However, some banks didn't allow you to exchange more than $3000, and some banks will charge you NT$300 processing fees despite having to fill in the source of the money and waiting at the usual long queue of the banks.

Taiwanese people eat less salt and sugar, which makes you feel less guilty about eating lots of desserts, haha. Fruits and vegetables are reasonably cheap thanks to Taiwan's agricultural developments, with the exception in Typhoon seasons. Being someone who lives to eat, the saddest part of having to leave KL was the luxury of halal food which can be found everywhere :P . Fortunately, vegetarian restuarants and cafes start becoming popular in Taiwan due to religious and health purposes. I have compiled a list of halal and vegetarian restaurants in Taipei, will share in the next post.

Instant Messaging
The Japanese/Korean-based IM app called LINE is widely popular here, you are expected to have a LINE account. Short Messaging culture seems almost extinct and when a Taiwanese say they sent a message to your number, it means they sent it through LINE app.

Importance of secondary ID
In Taiwan, when buying a prepaid sim card or opening a bank account, you will be asked for a secondary ID. It'll be useful to bring something like driving license/student card/NRIC/resident card,etc apart from passport when you visit taiwan.

Taipei is a considerably small city with around 2.5 million people, we have to get used to the crowds and queues wherever we go, especially on weekends.

The most popular recreational activity here in Taiwan is viewing seasonal flowers. There are different parks/temples/forest/mountain area to view different seasonal flowers. The local bus companies always arranges frequent special buses to the designated tourist spots for a short period of time. As usual, expect the crowds.

Other notable little facts
- Taxis meter starts from NT$70
- A lot of cafes impose a rule of minimum spending(抵銷) which is normally NT$150 per person
- The metric weight unit they used here is catty (台斤) equals to 600g

- The voltage system here is 110v and most sockets are 2 pin flat

Google Play Store ပေါ်မှာ apps တွေက များလွန်းတော့ အများအားဖြင့် သူများ recommend လုပ်တာတွေဘဲ သုံးဖြစ်တာတော့တယ်။ သုံးကြည့်ရင်း ကိုယ်သဘောကျတဲ့ apps လေးတွေကို တစ်လတစ်ခါလောက်ဖြစ်ဖြစ် review ြပန်ရေးမယ် စိတ်ကူးတယ်။ ဒီတစ်လော စမ်းသုံးကြည့်ပြီး တော်တော်အသုံးတည့်နေတဲ့ apps လေးတွေကတော့...

၁။ Textra

Android 4.4 မှာ default text messaging app ပါမလာတော့ဘဲ hangouts နဲ့ အစားထိုးလိုက်တာ တော်တော်စိတ်အနှောင့်အယှက် ဖြစ်ရတယ်။ gtalk msg နဲ့ sms တွေရောကုန်တော့ သုံးလို့မကောင်းတော့ဘူး။ အဲဒါနဲ့ 3rd party app အမျိုးမျိုး စမ်းသုံးဖြစ်တယ်။ GoSMS, Handcent SMS, chomp SMS အကုန်စမ်းသုံးကြည့်တယ်။ တစ်ခုမှ သိပ်အဆင်မပြေဘူး။ ခုနောက်ဆုံးတော့ Textra ကို တော်တော်သဘောကျတယ်။ Android ရဲ့ material design ကို သုံးထားတယ်၊ ပြီးတော့ notification ကလည်း facebook messenger လိုမျိုး၊ တော်တော်သုံးလို့ကောင်းတယ်။

၂။ Push Bullet

ဖုန်းကနေ ကွန်ပျူတာ၊ ကွန်ပျူတာကနေ ဖုန်းထဲကို URL လင့်ခ်တွေ၊ text, to-do-list, ဓါတ်ပုံ အစရှိသဖြင့် click တစ်ချက်နှိပ်ရုံနဲ့ ပို့ဖို့ Push Bullet app ကို သွင်းထားရင် တော်တော်အဆင်ပြေတယ်။ Evernote ကို သုံးလို့ရတယ်ဆိုပေမယ့် evernote က sync တာ နည်းနည်းကြာတယ်။ Push Bullet ကိုသုံးဖို့ appကို ဖုန်းထဲမှာသွင်း၊ ပြီးရင် ကွန်ပျူတာမှာ Push Bullet Chrome Extension ကို သွင်းထားရုံဘဲ။ HTML link ပို့လိုက်ရင် browser တစ်ခါတည်း တန်းဖွင့်ပေးတာကို သဘောကျတယ်။ ပြီးတော့ အခု whatsapp တို့ဘာတို့လို Instant messaging တွေနဲ့ပေါင်းပြီး desktop notification ရဖို့ လုပ်နေတယ်လို့ ဖတ်မိသေးတယ်။

၃။ Airdroid

ဒီ app ကထွက်တာ တော်တော်တော့ကြာပြီ။ Push Bullet အကြောင်းပြောတုန်း နည်းနည်းဆက်စပ်လို့ ဆက်ရေးလိုက်တာ။ ဖုန်းကနေ screenshot တွေ ဓါတ်ပုံတွေ ကူးချင်တဲ့အခါဖြစ်ဖြစ်၊ ဖုန်းထဲကို သီချင်း၊ ရုပ်ရှင်တွေ ကူးချင်တဲ့အခါဖြစ်ဖြစ် usb ကြိုးမသုံးချင်ရင် Airdroid က အဆင်ပြေတယ်။ ဖုန်းနဲ့ ကွန်ပျူတာနဲ့ wifi network တစ်ခုတည်းမှာ ရှိနေဖို့တော့လိုတယ်။ App ဖွင့်လိုက်တာနဲ့ IP တစ်ခုပေးလိမ့်မယ်။ ဥပမာ- 10.1.1.2:8888 ဆိုပါတော့။ ကွန်ပျူတာရဲ့ browserထဲမှာ အဲဒီ လိပ်စာကို ရိုက်ထည့်လိုက်တာနဲ့ ဖုန်းရဲ့ file system ကို တိုက်ရိုက် access လုပ်လို့ရတယ်။

၄။ Android L keyboard

ဒီကီးဘုတ်က Android ဗားရှင်း အသစ်မှာမှ officially ပါလာမှာဆိုပေမယ့် open-source ပေးထားတဲ့ AOSP ကုဒ်တွေကေန ကီးဘုတ်ကို မှီြငမ်းပြီး အရင်ထုတ်ထားတာ။ စာတော်တော်ရိုက်လို့ကောင်းတာ သတိထားမိတယ်။ ကီးဘုတ်မှန်ရင် ကီးတွေက hardware key ပုံစံအတိုင်း တစ်ခုနဲ့တစ်ခုကြားမှ separator ရှိနေရမယ်လို့ စိတ်ထဲစွဲနေတော့ ဒီကီးဘုတ်စစထွက်တုန်းက သိပ်စိတ်မဝင်စားဘူး။ ဒါပေမယ့် ၂ရက်လောက်စမ်းသုံးကြည့်ပြီးတာနဲ့ တော်တော်သဘောကျသွားတာ၊ စာရိုက်ရတာ ပိုမြန်လာသလိုဘဲ။

၅။ snapseed

ဓါတ်ပုံရိုက်ပြီးရင် ပြင်ဖို့ ဒီ app လေး တော်တော်ကောင်းတယ်။ အထူးသဖြင့် landscape ပုံတွေပေါ့။

၆။ hangouts dialer

Google Voice ကိုသုံးပြီး ဖုန်းတွေကို ခေါ်လို့ရပြီ။ စျေးသက်သာတယ်။ စင်ကာပူ၊ မလေးရှား၊ အမေရိက၊ ကနေဒါ၊ ထိုင်ဝမ် စတဲ့နိုင်ငံတွေကိုခေါ်ရင် တစ်မိနစ်ကို Landline ကို US$ 2¢, mobile ကို 3¢ ဘဲကျတယ်။ skype ထက် နည်းနည်း စျေးပိုသက်သာတယ်။ Rate ကို Google Voice ဝက်ဘ်ဆိုဒ်မှာ check ကြည့်လို့ရတယ်။ လိုင်းဘယ်လောက်ကြည်လဲတော့ မသိဘူး။ ဟိုနေ့က Google က လူတိုင်းကို free ပေးထားတဲ့ ၁၀ပြား သုံးပြီး ၅မိနစ် စမ်းခေါ်ကြည့်တာတော့ မဆိုးဘူး။ Google Voice မှာ credit ဖြည့်ထားရင် hangouts dialer ကနေ ဖုန်းကို တိုက်ရိုက် တန်းခေါ်ရုံဘဲ။ တစ်ခုဘဲ အူကြောင်ကြောင်နိင်တာက hangouts နဲ့ hangouts dialer က app သပ်သပ်စီ သွင်းရတယ်။ ဒါပေမယ့် ဖွင့်လိုက်ရင် interface တစ်ခုတည်းစီ ရောက်သွားတယ်။ ဘာစိတ်ကူးနဲ့ လုပ်ထားတာလဲတော့မသိဘူး၊ လူတွေတော့ ဝိုင်းဆဲနေကြတာဘဲ။ :D

*hangouts က update လုပ်ပြီးတော့ gtalk နဲ့ sms နဲ့ ခွဲထားတာကိုတော့ သဘောကျတယ်။ ဒါပေမယ့် textra က သုံးရတာ ပိုအဆင်ပြေနေတော့ hangouts sms ကို primary အနေနဲ့ မသုံးဖြစ်ဘူး။

၇။ Chrome Remote Desktop

ဒီတစ်ခု တော်တော်မိုက်တယ်။ Android ဖုန်းကနေ remote ကွန်ပျူတာရဲ့ screen ကို လှမ်းကြည့်လို့ရတယ်။ click လည်းနှိပ်လို့ရတယ်။ windows နဲ့ရော mac နဲ့ရော ချိတ်ကြည့်တာ အဆင်ပြေတယ်။ နည်းနည်းတော့ lag ြဖစ်တာပေါ့။ ဒါပေမယ့် အရေးအကြောင်း သုံးစရာလိုရင် တော်တော်အသုံးဝင်တယ်။ ကွန်ပျူတာမှာ Chrome Remote Desktop Extension ကို သွင်းရမယ်။ ပြီးရင် ဖုန်းထဲမှာ app ကိုသွင်း။ ပြီးရင် ဖုန်းကနေ ကွန်ပျူတာ ကို လှမ်းဝင်လို့ရပြီ။ ဖုန်းကနေကြည့်ရင်တော့ သေးသေးလေး ဘာမှ သိပ်မြင်ရမှာမဟုတ်ဘူး။ tablet ကနေဆို နည်းနည်းပိုသုံးလို့ကောင်းမယ်ထင်တယ်။

၈။ facebook messenger

ဒါကတော့ လူတိုင်းသိပြီးသား ဖြစ်မှာပါ။ ပြောချင်တာက သူ့ရဲ့ call function တော်တော်ကောင်းတယ်။ ခုတလော မြန်မာပြည်ကို fb call နဲ့ဘဲ ခေါ်ဖြစ်တယ်။ တစ်ချို့ရက်တွေဆို တစ်နာရီကျော်ကျော်ထိ ပြောတာတောင် လိုင်းမကျဘူး။ လောလောယ်တော့ viber တို့ skype တို့ထက် လိုင်းပိုကြည်သလိုဘဲ။

အြခား သုံးလို့ကောင်းတဲ့ app လေးတွေ comment ပေးသွားပါဦး။ နောက်တစ်လကြရင် နောက်တစ်ပို့စ်လောက်တော့ ရေးဖြစ်လောက်ပါတယ်။ ;-)

အလုပ်ပြောင်းတဲ့အကြောင်း ရေးထားတဲ့ပို့စ် ကို အားပေးတဲ့သူများတော့ confessions စီးရီးစ်အလိုက် ဆက်ရေးဖို့ စဉ်းစားထားတယ်။ :D ခုလောလောဆယ်တော့ အင်တာဗျူးအတွေ့အကြုံတွေ ရှဲပေးပါလို့ တောင်းဆိုတဲ့သူရှိလို့ အင်တာဗျူးတွေအကြောင်း အရင်ရေးပါမယ်။ ရေးမယ်သာပြောရတာ၊ share စရာ အတွေ့အကြုံကလည်း အဲလောက်အများကြီး မရှိဘူးရယ်။

ဒီလိုနဲ့ တစ်နေ့မှာ အရင်က အလုပ်လျှောက်ဖူးပေမယ့် အင်တာဗျူးမသွားခဲ့တဲ့ ကုမ္ပဏီတစ်ခုကနေ ဖုန်းဆက်လာပြီး အင်တာဗျူးလာဖြေဖို့ ပြောတယ်။ ကိုယ်လည်း အလုပ်ပြောင်းဖို့ စဉ်းစားနေတဲ့အချိန်နဲ့ကြုံနေတော့ လာမယ်လို့ ပြောလိုက်တယ်။ ပြောရရင် ဘဝမှာ ပထမဆုံးသွားဖူးတဲ့ formal အလုပ်အင်တာဗျူးဘဲ။ အင်တာဗျူးလာဖို့ မနက်ကိုးနာရီချိန်းတယ်။ အချိန် သုံးလေးနာရီလောက်ကြာမယ်၊ အလုပ်ကနေ နေ့တစ်ဝက်ခွင့်ယူခဲ့ပါလို့ ကြိုပြောတယ်။ အရင်လျှောက်ဖူးတဲ့ position က Android developer ဆိုတော့ Java concept တွေတော့ နည်းနည်းပြန်ဖတ်လိုက်တယ်။ လေးရက်လောက်ဘဲ ကြိုပြောတာဆိုတော့ ဘာမှတောင် ပြင်ဆင်ချိန် မရှိလိုက်ဘူး။

အင်တာဗျူးနေ့ ရောက်သွားတော့ aptitute test အရင်ဖြေရတယ်၊ အဲဒါက လွယ်တယ်။ အချက် ၁၅ချက်ပေးထားြပီး ကိုယ့်အတွက် အဓိကကျတဲ့ အချက်တွေကို နံပါတ်စဉ်ပြန်စီခိုင်းတာ။ ဥပမာ-လခ၊ ရာထူး၊ အလုပ်အပေါ် စိတ်ကြေနပ်မှု၊ ဘာညာသာရကာပေါ့။ ြပီးတော့ psycho test မေးခွန်းစာရွက်တွေ လာပေးပြန်ရော။ အဓိက ပရောဂျက်တွေကို ဘယ်လိုကိုင်တွယ်မယ်၊ colleague တွေနဲ့ ပြဿနာတက်ရင် ဘယ်လိုဖြေရှင်းမယ်၊ ပြီးတော့ အရင်က ကြုံတွေခဲ့ဖူးတဲ့ လုပ်ငန်းခွင် အတွေ့အကြုံတွေရေးခိုင်းတယ်။ အများကြီးဘဲဖြေလိုက်ရတယ်။ ဖြေလို့မပြီးခင် recruiter ရောက်လာပြီး "ဆောရီးပါ၊ ဒီနေ့ ကုမ္ပဏီတစ်ခုလုံး fire drill လေ့ကျင့်မှုရှိလို့ ခဏနေ အရေးပေါ်အချက်ပေးသံကြားရင် staff တွေနဲ့အတူ emergency လှေကားကနေ လိုက်ဆင်းပြီး စုရပ်ကို သွားပေးပါ" တဲ့။ ကိုယ့်မှာ အင်တာဗျူးဖြေနေရင်း အူကြောင်ကြောင် ကိုးထပ်ကနေ လှေကားနဲ့ဆင်းပြီး စုရပ်ထိ လျှောက်လိုက်ရသေးတယ်။ တကယ့်ကို မကြုံစဖူး မှတ်မှတ်ရရ အင်တာဗျူးဘဲ။ ပြန်တက်လာတော့ IQ test ဆက်ဖြေရတယ်။ ပြီးတော့ နောက်တစ်ခုက ဘာခေါ်လဲ မသိဘူး။ ဒီလို မေးခွန်းမျိုးတွေ ဖြေရတာ--

စသဖြင့် ပုံမှန် အခြားအင်တာဗျူးတွေမှာဆိုရင် လူချင်းတွေ့ ဖြေရမယ့်မေးခွန်းမျိုးတွေကို စာရွက်ထဲ ရေးဖြေခိုင်းတာ။ ဘဝမှာ အင်တာဗျူးကို ရေးပြီးဖြေချင်တဲ့ ဆန္ဒ ပြည့်ဝသွားတယ်လို့ ပြောရမယ်။ :D အဲဒါတွေကို ပါးစပ်နဲ့ဖြေရရင် ကောင်းကောင်းြပင်ဆင်ထားခဲ့ရင်တောင် အနည်းနဲ့အများ အခက်အခဲတွေ့တတ်တယ်ထင်တာဘဲ။ ရေးပြီးဖြေခိုင်းတာမျိုးနဲ့ ကြုံရတာ တော်တော် ကံကောင်းသွားတယ် ပြောရမယ်။

နောက်ဆုံး Technical Test ဖြေခိုင်းတဲ့ အချိန်မှာ ပြဿနာ စတာဘဲ။ ပရိုဂရမ်တွေကို ကွန်ပျူတာနဲ့သာ ရေးတတ်တာ။ စာရွက်ပေါ်မှာ လာရေးခိုင်းတော့ သွားရော။ အဲဒီမတိုင်ခင်က PHP ပရောဂျက်ရော၊ .NET ပရောဂျက်ရော၊ Android ပရောဂျက်ရော အကုန် multi-task လုပ်နေတဲ့အချိန်ဆိုတော့ language တွေအကုန် ရုတ်တရက် ခေါင်းထဲမှာ ရောသွားတာ။ (JQuery, Javascript တွေလည်း ပါသေးတယ် :D) အဲဒီအချိန်မှ ကိုယ့်ကိုယ်ကိုယ် IDE ရဲ့ auto-complete ကို အရမ်း dependent ဖြစ်နေမှန်း သတိထားမိတော့တယ်။ စာရွက်ဖြူပေါ်မှာ ရေးရတာ အရမ်းကို ဒုက္ခရောက်တယ်။ မမှန်မှန်းသိပေမယ့် တတ်နိုင်သလောက် logic မှန်ရင်ပြီးရောလို့ဘဲ သဘောထားပြီး ရေးလိုက်တယ်။

နောက်တော့ Technical Director ရောက်လာတယ်။ ဘာကြောင့် အလုပ်ပြောင်းချင်တာလဲမေးတယ် ြပီးတော့ ဘာကြောင့် Android developer ဖြစ်ချင်ရသလဲတဲ့။ နောက် အရင်လုပ်ဖူးတဲ့ ပရောဂျက်တွေအကြောင်း မေးတယ်။ သူနဲ့က ဖြေရတာ အကုန် အဆင်ပြေလိုက်တယ်။ ခုနက ဖြေထားတဲ့ Technical test မှာ language တွေအကုန် ခေါင်းထဲမှာရောသွားလို့ မဖြေနိုင်ဘူးလို့တော့ ဝန်ခံလိုက်တယ်။ နောက် HR manager မေးတဲ့ အလှည့်ရောက်လာရော။ အင်တာဗျူးမလာခင် ဖြည့်ခဲ့ခိုင်းတဲ့ ဖောင်ကိုကြည့်ပြီး background check သဘောမျိုး စုံစိနေအောင် မေးတော့တာဘဲ။ ြမန်မာပြည်က အစိုးရကိုတောင် ကိုယ့်ရဲ့ ကိုယ်ရေးအချက်အလက် အဲလောက်အများကြီး မပေးဖူးဘူး။ :D နောက်ဆုံးမေးခွန်းကတော့ မျှော်လင့်ထားတဲ့အတိုင်း Do you have any question for us ဆိုတာ။ အရင်က တစ်နေရာမှာဖတ်ဖူးပြီး သဘောကျတဲ့ မေးခွန်းတစ်ခုအတိုင်းဘဲ ပြန်မေးလိုက်တယ်။ အကယ်လို့ ငါ့ကို ဒီ position မှာ အလုပ်ခန့်ခဲ့မယ်ဆိုရင် ကုမ္ပဏီအနေနဲ့ ငါ့ဆီကနေ ဘယ်လောက်ထိ မျှော်လင့်ထားသလဲ? ပေါ့.. ြပီးတော့ recruiter ကို "ငါ့ကို ဘာကြောင့် အင်တာဗျူးလာဖို့ ဖုန်းဆက်တာလဲ" ဆိုပြီး မေးလိုက်တယ်။ :D သူက "ငါက ဒါမျိုးတွေ ကျွမ်းတယ်လေ" လို့ ဖြေတယ်။ နောက်တော့ လစာညှိတယ်၊ သူပေးချင်တဲ့လခနဲ့ ကိုယ်လိုချင်တဲ့လခရဲ့ အလယ်တည့်တည့်မှာ စျေးတည့်သွားတယ်။

မနက်ကိုးနာရီကတည်းကစတဲ့ အင်တာဗျူးက နေ့လည် ၂နာရီလောက်မှ ြပီးသွားတယ်။ ကြားထဲမှာ လှေကား အတက်အဆင်းကလည်း လုပ်လိုက်ရသေးတော့ လူက တော်တော်ကို ပင်ပန်းပြီး ဗိုက်တောင် ဆာသွားတယ်။ ဒါပေမယ့် နောက်တစ်ရက်မှာဘဲ အလုပ်ခန့်တဲ့အကြောင်း ဖုန်းဆက်လာတော့ ပင်ပန်းရကျိုးနပ်သွားပါတယ်။

ကျောင်းပြီးကတည်းက ကုမ္ပဏီတစ်ခုတည်းမှာဘဲ ပျော်ပျော်ကြီးလုပ်နေတာ ခြောက်နှစ်လောက်ကြာသွားတယ်။ ပထမ ကုမ္ပဏီက tech-startup ဆိုတော့ ဝန်ထမ်း ၁၀ယောက်လောက်ဘဲ ရှိတယ်။ လုပ်ဖော်ကိုင်ဖက်တွေက အားလုံးကောင်းကြတာရယ်၊ အလုပ်နဲ့ အိမ်နဲ့ နီးတာရယ်၊ အလုပ်လုပ်ရတာ စိတ်ဖိစီးမှုသိပ်မများတာရယ် (တစ်ခါတစ်လေ ပေါက်ကရလေးဆယ် အကုန်လုပ်ခိုင်းတာကလွဲလို့)၊ တစ်နှစ်မှာ မြန်မာပြည်ပြန်ဖို့ ခွင့်ရက်အများကြီးပေးတာရယ်၊ အလုပ်ကို သွားချင်တဲ့အချိန်သွားပြီး ပြန်ချင်တဲ့အချိန် ပြန်လို့ရတာရယ်၊ နောက်အလုပ်သစ်ထပ်ရှာရမှာ ပျင်းတာရယ်၊ အခြားပါတ်ဝန်းကျင်အသစ်ကို ပြောင်းဖို့ တွေဝေနေတာတွေရယ်ကြောင့် comfort zone ထဲမှာ ပျော်မွေ့ပြီး ခြောက်နှစ်လောက် တစ်နေရာထဲမှာ လုပ်ဖြစ်သွားတယ်။ ကြားထဲမှာ ကျောင်းဆက်တက်ရင်ကောင်းမယ်ဆိုပြီး သွားတက်လိုက်၊ supervisor တွေနဲ့ အဆင်မပြေလို့ ကျောင်းပြန်နားထားလိုက်နဲ့ လုံးချာလည်သွားသေးတာတွေလည်း ပါတာပေါ့။

၁။ အမဲသားကြက်ဥလိပ် (蛋卷) − ဒီတစ်ခုက လုပ်ရတာ တော်တော်လက်ဝင်တယ်။ စစချင်း ကြက်ဥကိုခေါက်ပြီး တစ်ချပ်ချင်း ပါးပါးလေး ရအောင် non-stick pan နဲ့ ကြော်တယ်။ ပြီးရင် အမဲသားတောက်တောက်စဉ်း+ဂျင်း+ကြက်သွန်ဖြူ နယ်ထားတာကို ကြက်ဥပေါ် ပါးပါးလေးသုပ်၊ ပြီးရင် လိပ်။ အသားက အစိမ်းထည့်ထားတာဆိုတော့ steamer နဲ့ ပြန်ပေါင်းရသေးတယ်။ လုပ်ရတာ လက်ဝင်သလို စားလို့လည်း အတော်ကောင်းတယ်။

၂။ ငါးဖယ် − အလုံးသေးသေးလေးတွေလုံးပြီးကြော်။

အရင်လက မြန်မာပြည်က သူငယ်ချင်းတွေလာတုန်း တစ်နေရာရာသွားလည်ကြမယ်ဆိုတော့ ပီနန်၊ ကန်မရွန်းဟိုင်းလန်း၊ မလက္ကား ဘယ်သွားကြမလည်း ရွေးရင်း တစ်ယောက်မှ မရောက်ဖူးတဲ့ Legoland ကိုသွားဖို့ ဆုံးဖြတ်လိုက်တယ်။ မလေးရှားမှာ ရောက်ဖူးသမျှမြို့တွေထဲမှာ tourist-friendly မဖြစ်ဆုံးမြို့ဘဲ။ :D ၂ရက်လုံး တက္ကစီကော ဘတ်စ်ကားကော စီးရတာ တိုင်ပါတ်နေတယ်။ ဂျိုဟိုးဘာရူးမြို့က စင်ကာပူနိုင်ငံသားတွေ အိမ်ဦးနဲ့ ကြမ်းပြင်လို သွားနေတဲ့မြို့ဆိုတော့ စင်ကာပူရီယန်းတွေကို အဓိကထားပြီး အရာရာကို စျေးတင်ထားသလိုဘဲ။ တက္ကစီ စီးရတာတင်ကို တော်တော် ပိုက်ဆံကုန်သွားတယ်။

ဖုန်းဆိုင်က ကောင်မလေးက sim card ကို ဖြတ်ပေးတာ ၂ခြမ်းကျိုးသွားလို့ maxis center မှာ ကဒ်အသစ်သွားထုတ်ရသေးတယ်။ micro sim အတွက် 25ကျပ် ပေးလိုက်ရတယ်။

Nexus 5 က 130g ဆိုတော့ တော်တော်ပေါ့တယ်။ Galaxy Nexus(4.64 inch), Nexus 4 (4.7 inch) နဲ့စာရင် သူက 4.95 inch ဆိုပေမယ့် သိသိသာသာတော့ ကြီးမလာဘူး။ Display က 445ppi ဆိုတော့ screen တော်တော်ကြည်တယ်။

Android 4.4 (kitkat)

ဒီပို့စ်မှာ သာမန် user တစ်ယောက် ရှုဒေါင့်ကနေဘဲ သတိထားမိသလောက် ရေးလိုက်မယ်။ SDK ပိုင်းမှာ ပြောင်းသွားတာတွေကို နောက်ပို့စ်တစ်ခုမှ ထပ်ရေးတော့မယ်။

၁။ Developer options: အရင် Android တွေအတိုင်းဘဲ Setting -> About phone ကနေ Android Version ကို သုံးချက်လောက် tap ရင် Easter egg ထွက်လာတယ်။ Developer Option လိုချင်ရင် Build number ကို ၇ချက် tap လုပ်ရတယ်။

၂။ Look and Feel: Kitkat ဗားရှင်းမှာ စာလုံးတွေ၊ background တွေကို အဖြူရောင်အစား နည်းနည်းဖျော့တဲ့ မီးခိုးရောင်ဆန်ဆန်အဖြူကို သုံးထားတာကြောင့် သုံးရတာ easy-on-eye ပိုဖြစ်တယ်။

၃။ Messaging app ကို Hangouts က replace လုပ်သွားတယ်။ sms နဲ့ gtalk message တွေရောသွားတာ အလွန် စိတ်ရှုပ်ဖို့ကောင်းတယ်။ 3rd party messaging app တစ်ခု မဖြစ်မနေ သုံးကို သုံးရမယ်ဖြစ်သွားတာ။ အရင်က GoSMS ကိုသဘောကျပေမယ့် ခုနောက်ပိုင်း Ads ထည့်လာတော့ annoying ဖြစ်လို့ အခု ရိုးရိုးရှင်းရှင်း Chomp SMS ကို ပြောင်းသုံးနေတယ်။

၄။ Browser: အရင် Android တွေမှာပါတဲ့ Stock (AOSP) browser ပါမလာတော့ဘူး။ အစက တော်တော် upset ဖြစ်မိပေမယ့် Chrome နဲ့အစားထိုးလိုက်တယ်။ Kitkat အတွက် customize လုပ်ထားသလားတော့မသိဘူး။ အရင် Android 4.3 ပေါ်မှာထက်တော့ ပိုသုံးလို့ကောင်းတယ်။

၅။ Phone Dialer: အရင်ဗားရှင်းတွေမှာ Contacts နဲ့ Dial app က သပ်သပ်ပေမယ့် ခု Kitkat မှာ ပေါင်းလိုက်တယ်။ ဖုန်းနံပါတ်နှိပ်ရတာ၊ Contacts ရှာရတာ ပိုပြီး smooth ဖြစ်လာတယ်။

၆။ Keyboard မှာ comma ကိုနေရာပြောင်းလိုက်လို့ စစချင်း စာရိုက်ရ နည်းနည်းခက်သွားသေးတယ်။ :D Gesture typing ကတော့ ပိုပြီးတော့ smooth ဖြစ်လာတယ်။

၇။ Settings မှာ “Tap n pay” နဲ့ “Cloud Printing” ဆိုပြီး ပိုလာတယ်။ Tap n Pay က NFC payment အတွက်ဖြစ်မယ်။

ဘယ် app ကနေဖြစ်ဖြစ် share ကိုနှိပ်လိုက်ရင် Google Drive ကို ရွေးစရာပါလာတယ်။ အထူးသဖြင့်ဖုန်းထဲကပုံတွေကို ကွန်ပျူတာထဲရွှေ့ဖို့ usb မလိုတော့ဘူး။ ဖုန်းထဲကပုံကို Google Drive ပေါ်တန်းပို့ တော်တော်အဆင်ပြေတယ်။

ကိုယ့်ရဲ့ gmail အကောင့်နဲ့ ဝင်ထားတဲ့ ဖုန်းအကုန်လုံးကို အဝေးကနေ monitor လုပ်လို့ရတယ်။ ring လို့ရတယ်။ Lock လုပ်လို့ရတယ်။ ဒေတာလည်း ဖျက်လို့ရတယ်။ gmail password တော့ အခိုးမခံရစေနဲ့ပေါ့နော်။ ဖုန်းတစ်လုံးလုံးပါသွားဦးမယ်။

နောက်ပို့စ်မှ Developer ရှုဒေါင့်ကနေ Android 4.4 SDK အကြောင်း ရေးပါဦးမယ်။ :)

How to solve “Missing SDK Platform Android, API xx” while updating in Android SDK Manager

The main problem I always face while updating Android SDK in Eclipse is either the latest SDK doesn’t show up in the SDK Manager or updates for “Android SDK tools” and “Android SDK platform-tools” were never available. Seems this always happens in the older versions of eclipse, one of my friends who is using the latest eclipse version doesn’t seem to have this problem.

On one fine day, I feel like I should start blogging these as Android debugging series, at least for personal reference since I am doing a lot of Android developments lately.

Here's how to solve the problem of "Missing SDK Platform Android, API xx":

Update Android SDK manager from Eclipse first: Click “Help” from the menu bar->Check for Updates -> Update the “Android SDK Manager”
Open Android SDK Manager, install “Android Support Repository” if you haven’t installed it.
Open Android SDK Manager->Select “Packages” from menu bar->Click “Reload”
By now, you should see updates for “Android SDK tools” and “Android SDK platform-tools”. Install them first.
After that “Reload” SDK Manager again. Sometimes “Reload” doesn’t work, just close the Android SDK Manager and reopen it. You shall see the latest SDK Platform appear in the list.

Pastry တွေထဲမှာ Cream Puff နဲ့ Croissant ကို တစ်အားကြိုက်တယ်။ Cream Puff ကို ချောကလက် topping ထည့်လိုက်ရင် အီကလဲဖြစ်သွားရော။ အများအားဖြင့် အီကလဲက ရှည်မြောမြောပုံစံ။ တစ်နေ့ မEvy ဘလော့ဂ်မှာ ဖတ်မိတော့မှ လုပ်ရတာ လွယ်တဲ့ပုံပေါက်တာနဲ့ လိုက်လုပ်ကြည့်တာ။ Cream puff လုပ်နည်းကို မEvy နဲ့ မအိချော ဘလော့ဂ်၂ခုကနေ မှီငြမ်းတယ်။ ပြီးတော့ youtube ထဲကနေ ဒီvideo နဲ့ ဒီvideo တွေမှာ လုပ်နည်းကြည့်တယ်။ ဒီတစ်ခေါက် တတိယအကြိမ်မြောက်လုပ်မှ နည်းနည်းလှတပတထွက်လာလို့ လုပ်နည်း ပြန်ရှဲလိုက်ပါတယ်။

Corn Starch - 1tbsp (ထမင်းစားဇွန်း)
ဗနီလာနံ့ − ၂စက်
ကြက်ဥ − ၁လုံး
သကြား − 1.5tbsp
နွားနို့ − 250ml

၀။ oven ကို ကြိုဖွင့်ထားပါ။

၁။ ဂျုံကို ဇကာချပြီး ဆား+သကြား တို့နဲ့ ရောမွှေထားပါ။

၂။ မီးဖိုပေါ်မှာ ရေ ၁၂၅ml ကို တည်ပါ။ နည်းနည်းနွေးလာပြီဆိုရင် ထောပါတ်ကို ထည့်ပါ။ ရေဆူပြီး ထောပါတ် အကုန်ပျော်သွားတဲ့ထိ စောင့်ပါ။ [ပုံနံပါတ် ၁]

၃။ မီးဖိုပေါ်က ခဏချလိုက်ပြီး နံပါတ်၁ မှာရောထားတဲ့ ဂျုံအရောကို ထည့်ပြီး သမအောင်မွှေပါ။ [ပုံနံပါတ် ၂]

၄။ ပြီးရင် မီးဖိုပေါ်ပြန်တင်ပြီး မျက်နှာပြင်ချောလာတဲ့အထိ မွှေပေးပါ။ မကပ်အောင် သစ်သားဇွန်းနဲ့မွှေရင် ပိုကောင်းပါတယ်။ (သုံးမိနစ်ခန့်)

၅။ မီးဖိုပေါ်ကချပြီး ခဏ အအေးခံထားပါ။ [ပုံနံပါတ်၃ထဲက ပုံမျိုး ရပါမယ်။]

၆။ ကြက်ဥ ၂လုံးကို ခလောက်ပြီး ခုနက ဂျုံအရောထဲကို ထည့်မွှေပါ။ သုံးခါလောက်ခွဲထည့်ပါ။ မွှေစက်နဲ့ မွှေမွှေ လက်နဲ့ ဒီတိုင်း မွှေမွှေ ရပါတယ်။ [ပုံနံပါတ် ၄]

၇။ ပြီးရင် piping bag နဲ့ ဗန်းထဲစီထည့်လို့ရပါပြီ။ ဒီ recipe နဲ့ဆို သဉ္ဇာ့ oven ဗန်း တစ်ဗန်းစာ ကွက်တိဘဲ ၁၆−၂၀ခုလောက် ရတယ်။ (ဗန်းပေါ်မှာ baking paper အရင်ခံပါ။) piping bag မရှိရင် ဒီတိုင် ဇွန်းနဲ့ထည့်ပြီး ပုံဖော်လည်းရတယ်။

၈။ ၁၉၀'C မှာ ၁၀မိနစ်၊ ၁၇၀'C မှာ မိနစ်၃၀လောက်ဖုတ်ပါ။

ပြီးတာနဲ့ သူ့ဘာသူ ပွတက်လာပြီး အလယ်မှာ အခေါင်းပေါက်လေး ဖြစ်သွားတယ်။

မာလာဟင်းကို အရင်တစ်ခေါက်က သူငယ်ချင်းတစ်ယောက် လက်ဆောင်ပေးဖူးကတည်းက စားကောင်းလို့ သဘောကျနေတာ။ မန္တလေးက ပန်းသေးတွေ ထုတ်တာထင်တယ်။ တိုက်တိုက်ဆိုင်ဆိုင်ဘဲ စျေးထဲမှာ ခေါက်ဆွဲသွားစားရင်း အဲဆိုင်မှာ တင်ထားတာတွေ့လို့ တစ်ခါတည်း အများကြီးဝယ်ခဲ့လိုက်တယ်။ တစ်ထုပ် ၇၀၀။ အထဲမှာ မာလာအမှုန့်၊ ပဲပိစပ်အနှစ်၊ ခေါက်ဆွဲ၊ ပဲလိပ်၊ မှိုခြောက်၊ အသားတု၊ ဘာညာ သာရကာ အစုံဘဲ။ :) ကိုယ်ကြိုက်တဲ့ အရွက်တွေကိုဝယ်ပြီး ပြုတ်၊ အထုပ်ထဲက ပါတဲ့အစာပလာတွေကို ရေစိမ်၊ ပြီးရင် ခဏပြုတ်၊ အစာတွေနဲ့ နယ်စားရုံဘဲ။ သူ့ထဲမှာပါတဲ့ ပဲပိစပ်အနှစ်ကတော့ အသေစပ်လို့ လျှော့ထည့်ရတယ်။ တော်တော့်ကို စားကောင်းတာ။ မြေအိုးမြီးရှည်ထုပ်လည်း မာလာဟင်းထုပ်နဲ့ အတူတူဘဲ၊ မာလာခေါက်ဆွဲနေရာမှာ မြီးရှည်ခြောက်ထည့်ထားတာဘဲ ကွာတယ်။ တစ်ထုပ်ဆို ၂ယောက်လောက် စားလို့ရတယ်။

၅။ ဂျူးပဲပုတ်ကြော်

တောင်ကြီးပြန်တိုင်း "ကျိုင်းတုံ" တံဆိပ် ဂျူးပဲပုတ်ကြော်က မဝယ်မဖြစ်။ သူငယ်ချင်းတွေအကုန်က ကြိုက်လို့ အမြဲမှာနေကြ။ အရင်က သစ်တောရပ်ကွက်ထဲက သူ့ဆိုင်ထိ သွားပြီး ကြိုမှာရတယ်။ ခုက စျေးထဲက နာရီစင်နားက မြေလတ်သားဆိုင်မှာ ဝယ်လို့ရတော့ ပိုအဆင်ပြေတယ်။ ဂျူးမြစ်၊ ပဲပုတ်နဲ့ မြေပဲကို ကြော်ထားတာ၊ ကြွပ်ကြွပ်ရွရွလေး စားလို့ကောင်းတယ်။ အထားလဲခံတယ်။ ခြောက်လလောက်ထိ ထားလို့ရတယ်။ တစ်ထုပ် တစ်ထောင်လားမသိဘူး မေ့သွားလို့။ :)

၆။ ဆင်ဖြူတော် preserved fruits

ဆင်ဖြူတော်တံဆိပ်ကတော့ မြန်မာပြည်မှာ နေရာတော်တော်များများမှာ ဝယ်လို့ရပါတယ်။ ဆားငံသီးထဲမှာတော့ အဲဒီတံဆိပ်ကို ဘယ်သူမှ မမှီသေးဘူး(လို့ထင်တာဘဲ)။ ဒီတစ်ခေါက်ပြန်မှ သတိထားမိတာ packaging တော်တော်ကောင်းလာတယ်။ export ကွာလတီဖြစ်မယ်။ ခါတိုင်း အချဉ်ပေါင်းတွေကို ပလတ်စတစ်နဲ့ထုတ်ထားတာတွေက လက်ဆောင်ပေးလို့ မကောင်းဘူး။ အခုက ဗူးလေးတွေနဲ့ သေချာ ထည့်ထားပြီး လေလုံအောင် ပိတ်ထားတာ။ စားလို့လဲကောင်းတယ်၊ လက်ဆောင်ပေးလို့လဲကောင်းတယ်။ တစ်ဗူးကို ၁၇၀၀ ထင်တယ်။ အများကြီးဘဲပါတယ်။ ဆားငံသီး၊ သရက်ယို အစပ်၊ ရှောက်ယို၊ မရမ်းယို၊ ဂျင်းယို၊ ဇီးယို(အစေ့လွတ်)၊ နောက် ၂မျိုးလောက် မမှတ်မိတော့ဘူး။ ၇မျိုး ၈မျိုးလောက်ရှိတယ်။ တစ်မျိုးတစ်ဗူးစီဝယ်ခဲ့ပြီး သိပ်မကြိုက်တာတွေကို ရုံးကလူတွေကို ကျွေးလိုက်တယ်။ :D

နောက်ထပ်သယ်ဖြစ်တာတွေက ဖရုံစေ့လှော်၊ မုန်ညှင်းချဉ်၊ မုန်လာဥချဉ်၊ အမဲခြောက်၊ ငါးမုန့်၊ နွားနို့ခြောက်၊ မှိုဆီစိမ် စသဖြင့်စသဖြင့် အကုန်တောင် မမှတ်မိတော့ဘူး။ :D ဒီပြန်ရောက်ပြီး အစားအသောက်တွေ ဗူးထဲထည့်၊ ရေခဲသေတ္တာထဲထည့် ပြန်စီရတာတောင် ၂ရက်သုံးရက်လောက် ရှင်းယူရတယ်။ တောင်ကြီး trip ကပုံတွေကို နောက်နေ့မှ တင်ရဦးမယ်။ :)

မနေ့က သူငယ်ချင်းမိသားစုနဲ့ မလက္ကားကို နေ့ချင်းပြန်ခရီးသွားဖြစ်ခဲ့တယ်။ အင်္ဂလိပ်လို Melacca ၊ မလေးလို Melaka လို့ပေါင်းတယ်။ မလေးရှားနိုင်ငံရဲ့ သမိုင်းဝင် UNESCO heritage site တစ်ခုဖြစ်တဲ့ မြို့တစ်မြို့ပေါ့။ မလက္ကားကို KL ကနေ ၂နာရီလောက်မောင်းရင်ရောက်တယ်။ သုံးလေးခေါက်ရောက်ဖူးပေမယ့် ဟိုတစ်နေရာ ဒီတစ်နေရာသွားတာဆိုတော့ သိပ်တော့မကျွမ်းကျင်ဘူး။ GoogleMaps ကနေ သွားမယ့်နေရာ အကုန်ပြန်ရှာရတယ်။ မနက် ၈နာရီလောက်ထွက်မယ် မှန်းထားပေမယ့် ၉နာရီကျော်မှ ထွက်ဖြစ်တယ်။ ရောက်ဖြစ်ခဲ့တဲ့နေရာတွေ...

၁။ Pulau Besar

Umbai Jetty

မလက္ကားမြို့ထဲမဝင်ခင် လူကြီးတွေသွားချင်တဲ့ Pulau Besar (Pulau=ကျွန်း၊ Besar=big) ကို အရင်သွားဖြစ်တယ်။ Pulau Besar ကိုရောက်ဖို့ မလက္ကားမြို့ကနေ နောက်ထပ် ၁၅ကီလိုမီတာလောက် သွားရတယ်။ GPS မှာ Umbai Jetty ကိုရှာပြီးမောင်း၊ အဲဒီကနေ speedboat လေးတွေငှားလို့ရတယ်။ အသွားအပြန်ကို မလေးရင်းဂစ် ၁၀၀။ Jetty ကနေ ကျွန်းအထိကို ၁၀မိနစ်ကျော်လောက်ဘဲကြာမယ်။ လှေသမားက လိုက်ပို့ပေးပြီးတော့ ပြန်ချင်တဲ့အချိန် ဖုန်းဆက်လိုက်ရင် ပြန်လာခေါ်တယ်။ အဲဒီကျွန်းပေါ်မှာ မလေးရှားနိုင်ငံကို အစောဆုံး သာသနာပြုဖို့ ရောက်ခဲ့တဲ့ Sultan Ariffin Syeikh Ismail နဲ့ သူ့အမျိုးအနွယ်တွေ၊ အခြား မွတ်စလင်မ်သူတော်စင်အချို့တွေကို မြှုပ်ထားတဲ့ အုတ်ဂူတွေရှိတယ်။ Sultan Ariffin က တမန်တော်မိုဟာမက်ရဲ့ ၁၈ဆက်မြောက် အမျိုးအနွယ်လို့ ရေးထားတယ်။ အဲကျွန်းပေါ်မှာ ရှေးခေတ်က မလေး သူရဲကောင်းတွေ သိုင်းကျင့်ခဲ့တဲ့ ဂူတွေလည်း ရှိတယ်ပြောတယ်။ နာရီဝက်နီးနီးလောက် လမ်းလျှောက်ပြီး တောင်ပေါ်တက်ရမယ်ဆိုတော့ မသွားဖြစ်လိုက်ဘူး။

ရောက်တာနဲ့ နေ့လည်စာ အလကားကျွေးနေတော့ ဝင်စားခဲ့တယ်။ :D နေ့တိုင်း ထမင်း၂နပ် အလကားကျွေးတယ်တဲ့။ ထူးဆန်းတာက အဲဒီကျွန်းကို မွတ်စလင်မ်တွေရော ဟိန္ဒူတွေရော လာပြီး ဆုတောင်းကြတာ တွေ့ရတယ်။ အေးအေးချမ်းချမ်းဘဲ။ Sultan Ariffin ရဲ့ အုတ်ဂူမှာဆိုရင် အစ္စလာမ်ဘာသာဝင်တွေက တစ်ဘက်မှာထိုင်ပြီး ဘုရားစာဖတ်၊ မေတ္တာပို့တာတွေလုပ်ကြတယ်။ နောက်တစ်ဘက်မှာ ဟိန္ဒူဘာသာဝင်တွေက ဘုရားစာရွတ်၊ ပုတီးစိပ်၊ ဆုတောင်း၊ ရေဖြန်း၊ ပန်းကြဲကြတယ်။ သူ့ဟာနဲ့သူတော့ ဟုတ်နေတာဘဲ။ =) သမိုင်းကြောင်းကို နောက်မှ သေချာရှာဖတ်ကြည့်ရမယ်။

၂။ Stadhuys (Dutch Square)

Stadhuys ဆိုတာ ဒတ်ချ် စကားနဲ့ City Hall ကိုခေါ်တာတဲ့။ အဲနားတစ်ဝိုက်က အဆောက်အဦးတွေ အကုန် နီနီရဲရဲတွေ။ ဒတ်ချ်လူမျိုးတွေရဲ့ ဗိသုကာလက်ရာ တော်တော်များများရှိတဲ့နေရာ။ Stadhuys တစ်ဝိုက်မှာ tourist attraction တွေများတော့ လူတွေရော ကားတွေရော ပြည့်နေတာဘဲ။ ကားparking တော့ တော်တော်ရှာယူရတယ်။ အဲနားတစ်ဝိုက်မှာ ရှိတာတွေက Queen Victoria Fountain, Clock Tower, Christ Church Melaka နဲ့ အခြားစျေးတန်းလေးတွေရှိတယ်။ အဲဒီစျေးတန်းမှာ ပစ္စည်းတွေ စျေးသက်သာတယ်။

၃။ Maritime Museum (Flor De Lama)

ခုနက Stadhuys ကနေ နောက်ထပ် ၅မိနစ်လောက်လမ်းလျှောက်ရင် Maritime Museum ကိုရောက်တယ်။ ပြတိုက်ကို Flor De Lama ဆိုတဲ့ ပေါ်တူဂီ သင်္ဘောကြီးပုံစံဆောက်ထားတာ။ ဝင်ကြေးက တစ်ယောက် ရင်းဂစ်၈ကျပ်။

၄။ Melacca River Cruise

River Cruise အတွက် လက်မှတ်ကောင်တာက Maritime Museum အနောက်နားလေးမှာရှိတယ်။ Melacca River တစ်လျှောက် အသွားအပြန် မိနစ်လေးဆယ်လောက် ကြာတယ်။ နိုင်ငံခြားသားဆို တစ်ယောက် ၁၅ရင်းဂစ်၊ မလေးရှားနိုင်ငံသားဆို တစ်ယောက် ၁၀။ ထုံးစံအတိုင်း မလေးစကားနဲ့ လက်မှတ်ခြောက်စောင် ပေးပါလို့ ပြောလိုက်တာ ၆၀နဲ့ရလိုက်တယ်။ :D

river cruise က ဒီလိုမျိုးလှေသေးသေးလေးတွေနဲ့၊ တစ်စီးမှာ အယောက်၄၀ဆန့်တယ်ဆိုပေမယ့် အယောက်၂၅−၃၀လောက်ပြည့်ရင် တစ်စီးထွက်ပေးတယ်။ ဒီတစ်ခုက Maritime Museum နားက မဟုတ်ဘူး အဆုံးဘက်။ ဒီဘက်က စစီးလည်းရတယ်။

မလက္ကားမှာ ကြက်ဆီထမင်းကို အလုံးလေးတွေလုံးပြီးရောင်းတယ်။ ရှမ်းပြည်က ငါးထမင်းနယ်လိုမျိုးလေး။ သူကတော့ အလုံးသေးသေးလေးတွေ။ မလေးရှားက အခြားနေရာတွေမှာ Chicken rice ball ရောင်းတာ မတွေ့ဖူးသေးဘူး။ မလက္ကားရဲ့ speciality ဖြစ်မယ်။ Ee ji Ban တစ်ဆိုင်ဘဲ Halal ဆိုင်ရှိတယ်။ တရုတ်မွတ်စလင်မ်တွေ ဖွင့်ထားတာ။ Non-halal ဆိုင်တွေတော့ အများကြီးရှိတယ်။ chicken rice ball တစ်လုံးကို ပြားသုံးဆယ်၊ ပိစိလေးရယ်။ သူ့menu မှာပြထားတဲ့ပုံက အကြီးကြီးဆိုတော့ နည်းနည်းဘဲမှာလိုက်တာ၊ မလောက်ဘူး။ တစ်ယောက်ကို ၁၀လုံးလောက်မှ အဆာပြေမယ်။ ကြက်သားက half-chicken (steam+roast mix) ကို RM24။ အခြား Nyonya ဟင်းတွေလည်း မှာလို့ရတယ်။ လူကြီးတွေပါတော့ အားလုံးရအောင်စောင့်ပြီး ဓါတ်ပုံရိုက်လို့မရဘူး.. ချတာ အရင်စားတော့ ဓါတ်ပုံက ဒီလောက်ဘဲရတယ်။ :D

Google ရဲ့ နှစ်စဉ် conference တစ်ခုဖြစ်တဲ့ Google I/O 2013 ကို ပြီးခဲ့တဲ့ မေလ ၁၅−၁၇ ရက်နေ့မှာ ပြုလုပ်သွားတယ်။ ဒီနှစ်က ဂူဂယ်လ်ရဲ့ ခြောက်ကြိမ်မြောက် conference ပေါ့။ သူ့conference မှာ Google ကနေ လက်ရှိလုပ်နေတဲ့ ပရောဂျက်တွေ၊ နောက် ဆက်လုပ်သွားဖို့ရှိတဲ့ ပရောဂျက်တွေ၊ အရေးကြီး ကြေငြာချက်တွေအကြောင်း ပြောလေ့ရှိတော့ Developers တွေအဖို့ နှစ်စဉ်မပြတ် စောင့်ကြည့်ရတဲ့ conference တစ်ခုပါ။ Google ထုံးစံအတိုင်း keynote မှာ သူ့ employee တွေထဲကနေ လူမျိုးပေါင်းစုံအောင် ပွဲထုတ်ပါတယ်။ ဒီနှစ် keynot မှာ Google ကိုစတင်တည်ထောင်သူတွေထဲက တစ်ယောက်ဖြစ်တဲ့ Larry Page ထွက်လာတာကတော့ ထူးခြားမှုတစ်ခုပါ။

KL ကနေ CH ကို လေးနာရီလောက်ဘဲကြာတယ်။ လမ်းမှာ ၁၅မိနစ်လောက်ဘဲ ရပ်ပေးတဲ့အတွက် ကားမထွက်ခင် မနက်စာ/နေ့လည်စာကို အဝစားထားတာ ကောင်းပါတယ်။ KL ကနေထွက်ပြီး လမ်းတစ်ဝက်ထိက အေးဆေးဘဲ၊ ဟိုင်းဝေးလမ်းက ဖြောင့်နေရော။ တောင်ပေါ်စတက်တဲ့အချိန်ကနေ နောက်ထပ် တစ်နာရီနဲ့မိနစ်၂၀ ကတော့ ရေလည်ခံစားရတယ်။ ဘတ်စ်ကားသမားတွေက အကွေ့အကောက် ဒီလောက်များတဲ့ တောင်တက်လမ်းကို အရှိန်မလျှော့ဘဲ မောင်းတော့ ဇီးဖြူသီး ဇကောထဲထည့်လှိမ့်သလို လူကို မူးနောက်သွားတာဘဲ။ အိတ်တွေ ဖိနပ်တွေ ချထားရင် အကုန် လှိမ့်ကုန်တယ်။ ကားရပ်မှ မနည်းပြန်လိုက်ရှာကောက်ရတယ်။ :D ရန်ကုန်−တောင်ကြီးလမ်းတောင် အဲလောက် မမူးဘူး။ လျှောက်လည်မယ် အားခဲထားတာတောင် ရောက်ရောက်ချင်း မလှုပ်နိုင်တော့ဘူး၊ အကုန်မူးသွားကြတာ။ တော်သေးတယ် ဟိုတယ်က စောစော check-in ပေးလုပ်တော့ ခဏနားပြီးမှ နေ့လည်စာ ထွက်စားရတယ်။

အပေါ်တစ်ပုံက ဟော်တယ်ကနေ ရိုက်ထားတာ။ Brinchang မြို့လယ်ခေါင်ပေါ့။ ရှေ့တည့်တည့်မှာ taxi stand ရှိတယ်။ ပါတ်ပါတ်လည်မှာ တရုတ် စားသောက်ဆိုင်တွေရှိတယ်။ မနက်စာနဲ့ နေ့လည်စာရောင်းတဲ့ မလေး food court လည်း ရှေ့နားတင်ဘဲ။ အဲဒီ food court က စျေးသက်သာပြီး အစားအသောက်တွေ ကောင်းတယ်။ ရှေ့နားမှာ အိန္ဒိယ(mamak) စားသောက်ဆိုင် တစ်ဆိုင်လည်း ရှိတယ်။ ညစျေး Pasar Malam ကိုလည်း ငါးမိနစ်လောက် လျှောက်ရင် ရောက်တယ်။ တက္ကစီကတော့ ဘတ်စ်ကားဂိတ်မှာတုန်းက တွေ့တဲ့ တက္ကစီသမားရဲ့ ဖုန်းနံပါတ်ကို ယူထားလို့ တော်သေးတယ်။ weekend ဆိုတော့ တက္ကစီ ရှာရ ခက်တယ်။ အဲမှာ တက္ကစီတွေက မီတာနဲ့မသွားဘူး။ standard price တစ်နာရီ ၂၅ရင်းဂစ်နဲ့ သွားချင်တဲ့နေရာ ပို့ပေးတယ်။ အနည်းဆုံး သုံးနာရီ ငှားရတယ်။

၁။ BOH Tea Centre (Sungai Palas)

လက်ဖက်ခင်းနားမှာထိုင်ပြီး အေးဆေး လက်ဖက်ရည်သောက်ရတဲ့ အရသာ ဘာနဲ့မှကို မတူဘူး။ လက်ဖက်ရည် အရသာကတော့ ဘာမှ မထူးခြားပေမယ့် ရာသီဥတုရယ် ရှုခင်းရယ်က စိတ်ချမ်းသာစရာကောင်းတယ်။

၂။ Butterfly Garden

Butterfly garden ထဲမှာ လိပ်ပြာတွေ အစုံဘဲ။ အရွယ်ကလည်း အကြီးကြီးတွေ။ ဒါပေမယ့် လိပ်ပြာတွေက ပျံမနေဘဲ အားလုံး တစ်နေရာမှာဘဲ ငြိမ်ပြီး ကပ်နေကြတယ်။ အသက်လည်း ရှင်နေသေးတယ်။ ဆေးတစ်ခုခုကျွေးထားပုံရတယ်။ ခုဟာက တစ်ကောင်မှလည်း မလှုပ်တော့ လိပ်ပြာရုပ်ကြွင်းပြတိုက်လို ဖြစ်နေတယ်။

၃။ Rose Centre

Rose Centre ရယ် butterfly garden ရယ်က BOH tea centre အထွက်နားမှာဘဲ။ ဘေးနားမှာ Bee Garden လည်းရှိသေးတယ်။ ရောက်ဖူးပြီးသားမို့ မဝင်ဖြစ်တော့ဘူး။ rose centre က တော်တော်ကျယ်တယ်။ အထပ်ထပ် လုပ်ထားတာ။ နှင်းဆီပန်းရောင်စုံတွေ အများကြီးဘဲ။

၄။ Pasar Malam (ညစျေး)

အပေါ်က သုံးနေရာနဲ့တင် သုံးနာရီကျော်လောက် အချိန်ကုန်သွားတယ်။ ည၇နာရီထိုးခါနီးနေပြီဆိုတော့ ညစျေးမှာဘဲ ချပေးဖို့ တက္ကစီ သမားကို ပြောရတယ်။ Cameron highland မှာ လမ်းမကြီး တစ်လမ်းဘဲအဓိက ရှိတာဆိုတော့ အြပန်မှာ လမ်းတစ်အားကြပ်တယ်။ စနေနေ့ ညနေတိုင်း အဲလိုဘဲ လမ်းကြပ်တယ်လို့ ပြောတယ်။ ၁၀မိနစ်လောက်မောင်းရင် ရောက်ရမယ့်နေရာကို မိနစ်လေးဆယ်လောက် ကြာသွားတယ်။ ညစျေးမှာတော့ အစားအသောက် တော်တော်စုံတယ်။ လက်ဆောင်ဝယ်ချင်ရင်လည်း souvenir ပစ္စည်းလေးတွေ အစုံဘဲ။ စတော်ဘယ်ရီလည်း ညစျေးက ဝယ်ထားရင် တန်တယ်။ စိုက်ခင်းတွေမှာ သွားဝယ်ရင်က စျေးများတယ်။ ကောက်ရိုးမှို၊ enoki မှို၊ ဘရိုကိုလီ တွေကို ဂျုံနဲ့ စွပ်ကြော်ထားတာ တော်တော်စားကောင်းတယ်။ ကြာဇံဟင်းခါးထဲထည့်တဲ့ ပန်းခြောက် ရဲ့ ပန်းအစိုကိုလည်း ကြော်ရောင်းကြတယ်။ အကြော်ရယ်၊ စတော်ဘယ်ရီတွေရယ်၊ အခြားအသီးအနှံတွေ ဝယ်ပြီး ညဘက်ကြ ဟိုတယ်မှာ လုစားကြတာ ပျော်စရာကောင်းတယ်။

၅။ Steamboat dinner @ Hotel Titiwangsa

မလေးလူမျိုးတွေ ရေးတဲ့ ဘလော့ဂ်တွေထဲမှာ ကောင်းတယ်လို့ ရေးကြလို့ သွားစားတာ။ တစ်ယောက်၂၀ပေးရပြီး service ရော အစားအသောက်ရော ကျေနပ်စရာ မကောင်းဘူး။ ဗိုက်တော့ပြည့်သွားတယ်။

၆။ Cactus Valley

ဟိုတယ်ကနေ ၁၀မိနစ်လောက် လမ်းလျှောက်ရင် ရောက်တယ်။ ဝင်ကြေးက တစ်ယောက်ကို ရင်းဂစ်ငါးကျပ်။ Cactus အပင် အကြီးအသေး မျိုးစုံဘဲ။ ကြည့်ရတာ အသည်းယားလာတယ်။ အထွက်နားမှာ cactus ပင်လေးတွေ ဝယ်လို့လည်းရတယ်။ အပင်ဝယ်တာတော့ Cactus Point မှာသွားဝယ်ရင် ပိုဝယ်လို့ကောင်းတယ်။ အဲတစ်ခုက ရောင်းဖို့ သက်သက် ဖွင့်ထားတာဆိုတော့။

၇။ Big red Strawberry farm

Cactus Valley ဘေးမှာတင်ရှိပါတယ်။ အခြား strawberry farm တွေလည်း အများကြီး ရှိပေမယ့် ဒီတစ်ခုက ဟိုတယ်နဲ့နီးပြီး cactus valley နဲ့လည်းနီးတော့ တစ်ခါတည်း ၂နေရာ ရောက်တဲ့အတွက် အဆင်ပြေတယ်။ အစားအသောက် အရမ်းကောင်းတယ်။ strawberry စိုက်ခင်းရယ် အြခား ဆလတ်ရွက် စိုက်ခင်းတွေရယ်ရှိတယ်။ အပြန်လက်ဆောင်အတွက် စတော်ဘယ်ရီကို စိုက်ခင်းထဲကဝယ်ရင် စျေးများတယ်။ Farm ကနေ အပြင်ထွက်လာရင် အောက်ဘက်နားမှာ ရွာတွေက တိုက်ရိုက်လာရောင်းတဲ့သူတွေ ရှိတယ်။ အဲမှာ စျေးဆစ်ရင် ဆစ်နိုင်သလောက် စျေးသက်သာတယ်။

၈။ Cameron Bharat Tea Plantation

ပထမတစ်ရက်မှာ လက်ဖက်ခင်းတွေကြား ဓါတ်ပုံရိုက်ရတာ မဝကြသေးဘူးဆိုတော့ Tanah Rata မှာရှိတဲ့ လက်ဖက်ခင်း နောက်တစ်ခုကို ထပ်သွားတာ။ BOH tea centre က အပေါ်ကနေ ကြည့်ရတဲ့ ရှုခင်း ပိုလှပြီး ဒီတစ်ခုက လက်ဖက်ခင်းကြားထဲ ဝင်လျှောက်လို့ ပိုကောင်းတယ်။

လက်ဖက်ခင်းထဲမှာတင် အချိန်တော်တော်ကြာသွားတော့ အြခားနေရာဆက်မသွားတော့ဘဲ ကားဂိတ်ကို ပို့ခိုင်းလိုက်တယ်။ ပထမရက်နဲ့ ဒုတိယရက်မှာ ငှားတဲ့ တက္ကစီသမား၂ယောက် နာမည်က မူတူးနဲ့ တစ်ယောက်က ဆာမိတဲ့။ သူတို့နှစ်ယောက်က သူငယ်ချင်းတွေ။ သူတို့ အဖေတွေက ကိုလိုနီခေတ်မှာ လက်ဖက်ပင်စိုက်စားဖို့ အိန္ဒိယကနေ မလေးရှားရောက်လာကြပြီး Cameron Highland မှာဘဲ အခြေချ နေကြတယ်လို့ပြောတယ်။ သူတို့က တက္ကစီမောင်းပြီး စုထားတဲ့ ပိုက်ဆံနဲ့ နှစ်တိုင်း နိုင်ငံခြား ခရီးသွားကြတယ်တဲ့။ ဒီနှစ် မေလမှာ မြန်မာပြည်သွားဖို့ tour package ဝယ်ထားပြီးတာဆိုတော့ မြန်မာတွေ့တော့ ဝမ်းသာအားရ စကားပြောကြတယ်။ ဒါပေမယ့် မြန်မာပြည်ကသတင်းတွေဖတ်ပြီး သူတို့လန့်နေကြတယ်။ ရန်ကုန်ဘက်မှာတော့ ဘာမှ မဖြစ်ပါဘူး၊ စိတ်မပူနဲ့လို့တော့ ပြောလိုက်တာဘဲ။ သူတို့က ပိုက်ဆံအကုန် ချေထားပြီးပြီမို့သာ သွားရတာ၊ မဟုတ်ရင် cancel လုပ်ဖြစ်ဖို့များတယ်ပြောတော့ သူတို့လို လာဖို့ စီစဉ်ထားပြီး မြန်မာပြည်တွင်း မငြိမ်သက်မှုတွေကြောင့် ခရီးစဉ်ဖျက်လိုက်ကြတဲ့ တိုးရစ်တွေ ဘယ်လောက်များမလဲ မသိဘူး။

နှစ်ရက် တစ်ညဘဲသွားတာဆိုတော့ မရောက်ဖြစ်လိုက်တဲ့နေရာတွေ

၁။ Cactus point − cactus ပင်လေးတွေ ဝယ်ချင်ရင် ဝယ်လို့ကောင်းတယ်။

၂။ Vegetable Market - ဟင်းသီးဟင်းရွက် အစုံ လတ်လတ်ဆတ်ဆတ်ရတယ်။

၃။ Lavender Centre - ဒီတစ်ခုက အသစ်ဖွင့်ထားတာ သိပ်မကြာသေးဘူး။

၄။ The Smoke house − ဓါတ်ပုံရိုက်လို့ကောင်းတယ်လို့ပြောကြတယ်။

Android 4.2 မှာ ပါလာတဲ့ Photo Sphere ကိုသုံးပြီး စမ်းရိုက်ထားတဲ့ပုံတွေ ကြွားလိုက်ပါဦးမယ်။ :D တစ်ပုံမှတော့ စိတ်ရှည်လက်ရှည် သေချာမရိုက်ရသေးဘူး။ ၃၆၀ဒီဂရီ လှည့်ပြီး ရိုက်ရတာဆိုတော့ လူကြားထဲ ရိုက်လို့ကလည်း မကောင်းဘူး။ ဖုန်းကိုင်ပြီး တစ်ပါတ်လည်နေရင် လူတွေက အူကြောင်ကြောင်ဆိုပြီး ဝိုင်းဝိုင်းကြည့်တာနဲ့ ပုံကောင်းကောင်းကို မရသေးဘူး။ တစ်ခါတစ်လေ သေသေချာချာ ရိုက်လို့ပြီးခါနီးမှ ဖုန်းကောလ်ဝင်လာရင် app က ဟန်းသွားပြီး ပုံက ပျက်သွားရော။ ရောက်လေရာအရပ်မှာ စမ်းရိုက်ထားတဲ့ပုံလေးတွေနဲ့ မျက်စိဒုက္ခ ပေးလိုက်ပါဦးမယ် :D

Shah Alam I-city က LED wonderland (ဒီတစ်ပုံ သေချာကြည့်ရင် ခြေပြတ်တွေရော ခေါင်းပြတ်တွေရော ပါတယ်။ :D)
