Oakland based brand KWILTI has just released their Spring/Summer 2013 collection titled, “Toxic Tropic”. Highlighting pop hues in each piece, KWILTI presents a fresh sensibility for the current trend for both men and women.

Inspired by the bad girl with a heart of gold, it features necklaces, earrings, and head pieces in holographic nylon, crisp white cottons, and gold chain. Snapbacker brims in radioactive colors and custom prints offer a fresh, new take on a summer staple.

If you didn’t catch the Billboard Music Awards last night, neither did I. However, aside from the hilarious Instagram photos popping up on my timeline in regards to Miguel falling onto a fans head during his performance, I was in awe with all the gorgeous ‘fits walking the blue carpet. Sadly, there weren’t very many. Without further ado, here are my favorite looks from the award show.

Selena Gomez (above) has got to be my all time favorite. Strutting in a tight Atelier Versace fitted dress with asymmetric side cutouts, gives a sexy appeal for the young singer/actress.


JLO looks amazing, per usual, in her Zuhair Murad dress. She has worn this same exact designer on the red carpet before, which I find quite flattering for her figure.

My girl Kelly Rowland keeps is classy in a silver low-neckline gown with a slit on the side. Very pre-Angelina Jolie if you ask me!

Emmy Rossum (my favorite actress from Showtimes’ hit series, Shameless) was also seen in a gorgeous black dress by Zuhair Murad. The sheer lining on the sides really accentuates her curves.

Kacey Musgraves arrives in a classic lacy black dress and bright pink heels. You can never go wrong with black and a hint of colored heels.

Jennifer Morrison is another top favorite of mine. With a little 90′s Madonna inspired ensemble, Jennifer walks the carpet in a Kristian Aadnevik Fall 2013 sheer corset gown. ADORE!

Lastly, sweet little Ms. Taylor Swift. The only beauty I saw wearing a geometrically patterned sequins blue mini dress, also by well-known designer Zuhair Murad.
