Today the blog hit 54,000 views per post. It’s no longer possible for me to keep pumping money into this thing. This a truly metastatic phenomenon. However, being forced to stop is a blessing in disguise. I need to move on to other things.
For those of you who want a wildly popular blog, think twice. You have to figure out a way to monetize it. In the current era, people think they deserve everything for free. I asked all the readers to donate one dollar each, which would allow me to keep going.
Over 46,000 people read that request. Of those 46,000, about forty donated. That’s 0.09 percent. Nine hundredths of 1 percent.
I could use ads, but they ruin the aesthetics of a Website.
Auto-play videos, pop-up ads, windows that open in the middle of the page…
I hate the Jerusalem Post. The page never stops loading, and the text constantly shifts place as new ads appears.
Below is a news piece that contains sixty-nine words. Look at all the ads.
See how I made a video from the screen grabs? I do that a lot. It requires time and effort.
Each of my posts is over 1000 words and gets 54,000 views. To continue blogging, I’d have to make this a subscription site or use even more ads than the Jerusalem Post does.
Stopping is the right decision. When I began defending Israel, an Israeli con artist fleeced me of a gigantic sum of money by pretending that we were going to make a documentary about how Hamas murdered Ismail Bakr, Mohammed Bakr, Ahed Bakr, and Zakaria Bakr.
People never understood that I solved that case because the boys’ murders kept me awake at night. It was deeply personal. I find it beyond my comprehension that the commander of the murder-operation walks free.
The experience of defending Israel left me with a very bad taste in my mouth. It seemed that too many Israelis reject improvement. Instead, they embrace the status quo. Israel wages futile war while her own people swallow enemy propaganda like baby birds gulping down worms that their Palestinian mommy shoves into their little beaks.
Then I proved that massive change is underway in the Middle East. But it didn’t translate into people offering to help me finance this Website.
And that made me angry.
Rather, it made me more angry. I’ve been angry at Middle Easterners for a while. Most of them embrace old, dead, suicidal, stupid customs. Therefore I’m not the right person to document the transformation of the Middle East.
I could do it if it weren’t costing me a fortune, but it would just be foolish for me to continue as is. There’s no upside. And I have a lot of other things I want to do.
In order to make everything work the way I want, I need to retire the name “Thomas Wictor,” thanks to Ali Gharib and Michael Shaw. I have several long-form writing projects in the works, but I’ll publish them under pseudonyms. And they’re years in the future. Right now I need to prepare for my move to another state. The work that lies ahead of me is like climbing all of these.
One of the reasons I blogged so much is that I have severe osteoarthritis. Three of my vertebrae are bone on bone, and my right hip is almost gone. Three weeks ago I began swimming three hours a day, three times a week. I didn’t want to join a fitness club because their pools tend to be dirty. However, I had to do something, or else I’d end up in a wheelchair.
The swimming is amazing. I’m already losing weight, and the pain in my back and hip is diminishing. The pool is full of Chinese immigrants who shout in Mandarin, crowd into you in the water, and then get out to loudly hawk and spit into wastebaskets. But my contact with them won’t last forever.
As part of my own transformation, I’m not going to spend any more time putting myself out for people who are indifferent to the effort I made for them. This is the research for last night’s post.
When you’re trying to understand new weaponry, you make a lot of guesses. For example, even though I didn’t mention it last night, I thought that the Arab League commandos were using a spotting rifle, also called a “ranging gun.” This is a .50-caliber rifle attached to an artillery piece to tell the gunner when he’s on target.
Since that’s 1950s technology, I didn’t think a spotting rifle was a possibility. So I gave up trying to figure where the shot above originated.
But I’m stubborn. As a result, today I discovered the answer.
An Arab League commando crept up to within a stone’s throw from the tank, lay in a crater, and fired a fragmentation munition. These fragments flew upward from the pavement and destroyed the barrel of the tank. You can see the commando, the smoke from his munition, the weapon in flight, and the detonation.
Nobody else on earth is giving you this information.
But now I have to stop.
In the final analysis, I’m sick of war. The Arab League has invented a new doctrine that wages war on military objects, not humans. You saw with your own eyes that an Arab commando risked everything to disable a Hezbollah tank. That man deserves 200 Medals of Honor. I have no idea how the Arab League was able to train its soldiers to fight this way. It infuriates me when westerners denigrate Arab military capabilities.
Yet in the end, the Arab commandos had to kill a very large number of Hezbollah fighters—murderous cretins in denial, who had to be put down like mad dogs.
Today the United Nations doubled the number of people allegedly killed in the Yemen war. It’s not true. There’s no evidence for it. The new statistic is that Saudi-led Coalition air strikes killed 2279 civilians. Only liars would claim that, and only morons would believe it. The UN wants you to think that the Saudis drop a $500,000 precision-guided bomb to kill 10 children at a birthday party in a religious school that has a market and a pet shop.
In reality, the Saudis could kill 2279 civilians with every air strike. I have to stop exposing myself to this metastatic toxicity because it’s threatening my mental health. The UN is a cesspool of corruption, child molestation, Jew-hate, and support for terrorism. This is what Saudis should bomb.
Israel and the Arab League have made peace, and they’ll gradually pound the entire region into submission. The Iranian mullahs and Recep Tayyip Erdoğan are doomed.
My mother CeeCee and I had a very troubled relationship. When she wasn’t distant, she was hypercritical and belligerent.
I confronted her once about it, and she had a breakdown. After she died, I discovered why she couldn’t accept me. In this photo of us, her body language and disconnected smile tell our story.
Despite—or because of—our problems, I became her closest confidant in the final three years of her life. Though she reverted to her previous hostility six months before her death, I realize now that she simply carried too great a burden to handle. She should’ve given me up for adoption.
Mom’s favorite artistic motif was the heart. She made hearts from every possible medium and used them in her projects. A few days ago, as I was wandering in her pergola, a rock fell at my feet.
I looked around, but there was no place from which the rock could’ve come, unless a California condor dropped it.
The white patterns are quartz. To me, the one on the left looks like a winged skull, and the one on the right is a woman in a long dress running with a heavy club raised above her head. She’s about to smash Death…to death.
That’s what will happen in the Middle East. Death is washed up. Right now I’m alone is being able to see it, but you can take that prediction to the bank.
And I’ve done enough. It’s time for me to concentrate on my own life. The Website will remain as is—an archive of fiction, nonfiction, art, ideas, and analyses that were simply too unorthodox for this period of history.
Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.

Stealers Wheel sings about Syria. This is for everyone stuck between clowns and jokers.
Tonight we’ll watch two videos of clown and jokers killing each other. However, it’s not a bad thing. Call it culling.
The Levant Conquest Front released a video in which it takes credit for something it didn’t do.
Hezbollah and the Iranian-commanded Syrian National Defense Forces have attacked the Aeronautical Technical College at least ten times. Though Assad’s allies have Syrian and Russian air power supporting them, these assaults are catastrophic failures.
Obviously Hezbollah has no training. I’ve never seen more ineffective, suicidal tactics.
On the other hand, the Levant Conquest Front is nothing but jabbering Islamist morons who waste everybody’s time. Arab League professional strategic special operators defeat Hezbollah. Then the Levant Conquest Front comes out and playacts for the camera.
Here is a Hezbollah attack carried out on August 24, 2016.
The filmmakers concealed much of the actual fighting. In addition, they rearranged the sequence of events.
First, we have these vehicles. They all belong to Hezbollah.
1 – T-72 main battle tank
2 – BTR-50 armored personnel carrier
3 – small pickup as transport
4 – small pickup as transport
Both pickups had men in the beds. Someone demolished the vehicles with antitank guided missiles (ATGMs).
Suddenly a BVP-1 AMB-S field ambulance is seen (red arrow).
Assad and his allies use this vehicle as an armored personnel carrier. It’s backed up against the building in order to let men out through the two rear doors.
Then we see the BVP-1 AMB-S arriving.
Note all the craters. Those are from the completely worthless mortar fire from the Levant Conquest Front. The Islamists are simply wasting ammunition while better men win their battles for them.
While the BVP-1 AMB-S pulls up to the building, we see a mortar round explode far away.
An idiot fired it.
Before the BVP-1 AMB-S joined the party, an unknown munition nearly struck the T-72 tank peeking around the corner.
This is the munition.
The signature is completely foreign to me. After the first munition hit, an identical weapon disabled two BMP infantry fighting vehicles (IFVs).
Note that now, the BVP-1 AMB-S is facing toward the building. The video shows as many as four separate Hezbollah attacks.
After the second munition disabled the two IFVs, the tank moved them into position for a recovery vehicle to come and haul them away.
Hezbollah fired rocket-propelled grenades (RPGs).
Nobody collected the bodies of the dead.
Then the clowns and jokers put on a show for the record books.
The Levant Conquest Front began firing mortar rounds randomly again. Each screen grab shows different Hezbollah vehicles at the Aeronautical Technical College.
A mortar round hits. On the left we have one BMP infantry fighting vehicle and a recovery vehicle.
Another mortar round hits. At the building is a BVP-1 AMB-S and a T-72 tank.
Third, mortar rounds hit all over the place.
Finally, a T-72 tank flees, leaving behind two BVP-1 AMB-S field ambulances.
Hezbollah has no military skills.
But it gets much worse.
I’ve never seen worse soldiering than in the video below. Some of it is moderately gruesome, so prepare yourselves.
Hezbollah launches three more futile attacks on the Aeronautical Technical College. The Levant Conquest Front had nothing to do with what happened. Arab League and allied professional strategic special operators sent the Lebanese Nazis to hell.
First a BMP infantry fighting vehicle unloaded a squad of Hezbollah fighters in front of the college. The vehicle turned around, thus sending the men into a storm of bullets.
Then the BMP driver panicked and abandoned the men. It appears that the entire squad died. Pointlessly.
A cretin of the Levant Conquest Front fired an RPG into the ground nowhere near the doomed Hezbollah fighters.
A BMP came to rescue the Hezbollah survivors, but again the driver panicked. The IFV drove over the dead and refused to pick up the living. One man ran in the direction of safety.
All the others died. Do you know why? Because Arab League and allied strategic special operators were out in front of the school. They fired from all directions. Hezbollah didn’t expect that.
It’s unbelievable to me that even with Russian and Syrian air power, Hezbollah got butchered. They’re just cannon fodder. I wonder how the Lebanese feel about that?
Now a BVP-1 AMB-S unloads a squad of Hezbollah fighters, next to a knocked-out BMP and a pile of burnt corpses.
At some point an antitank guided missile destroyed a BMP that had stopped beside the bodies of the men who died earlier.
The IFV is completely wrecked. The turret and multiple panels came off. Nobody inside that BMP lived.
Four armored vehicles and a column of infantry retreat under fire.
If you have the stomach for it, you can watch the armored vehicles running over their own dead and wounded. I have to warn you that you’ll see a lot of very flat humans.
And now that the professionals have won the battle, the childish poseurs of the Levant Conquest Front come in and play Cops and Robbers.
This is just embarrassing.
The real commandos engaged Hezbollah at close quarters. Below you see Arab League strategic special operators killing everyone in the building with a shoulder-fired fuel-air explosive.
When the Levant Conquest Front actors arrived, the enemy was dead or had run away.
These imbeciles go in front of dark windows without knowing who’s inside the building.
Amateur buffoons.
Then they drop a thermite grenade into a recovery vehicle that had already been destroyed.
Finally another Hezbollah rescue attempt goes south when the BVP-1 AMB-S driver panics and leaves behind a survivor.
What happened to all this?
Things are different when you’re actually in combat with someone who’s trained and fearless, huh? Pretty easy to threaten civilians, but professional soldiers are a different story.
Some people have to be killed and flattened. Not many, but some.
The Turks who invaded Syria are next.
The post Stuck in the middle in Syria. But not for too much longer appeared first on Thomas Wictor.
Finally, we have irrefutable proof that the Arab League is using adjustable weapons. The men who fire these missiles set them to either stun humans, disable weapon systems, or atomize the target. So far the cameras have captured only one missile switched to the “Atomize” setting. A Turkish M60 Patton tank was on the receiving end of that munition.
These new, adjustable missiles have binary fuel-air explosive (FAE) warheads. The explosive vapor and the catalyst are in two separate chambers.
Therefore the missile gunner controls the intensity of the explosion. A time fuse detonates the explosive vapor at predetermined stages of blending. Below, the blue dye represents the catalyst, while the water is the explosive vapor.
The more uniform the blending of catalyst and vapor, the more powerful the explosion.
In the 1990s, Israel experimented with explosive gases that would send payloads into space using a giant cannon. The 1997 book Ram Accelerators: Proceedings of the Third International Workshop on Ram, edited by Kazuyoshi Takayama and Akihiro Sasoh (Berlin and Heidelberg: Springer Verlag, 1997), reported this on page 167.
“Rom” is Professor Josef Rom, Department of Aerospace Engineering, Israel Institute of Technology, Haifa.
These gases are also used in FAE. Israeli FAE are the most powerful ever invented.
Another name for fuel-air explosives is “thermobaric” munitions. The average “weapons expert” knows nothing about them.
Not if the missile gunner is able to choose how deadly to make his ordnance.
As an illustration of non-lethal thermobaric weapons, we have the antitank guided missile (ATGM) below. Although the Levant Conquest Front claims to have fired the ATGM, there’s no way that any Syrian rebels have such advanced technology.
The tail of the missile has two flares, also called “beacons.”
Each beacon emits a light of a different wavelength. As a result, the accuracy is doubled. The guidance system is called “semi-automatic command to line of sight” or SACLOS. After the gunner launches the missile, he keeps a cross hair on the target.
A sensor inside the launcher sight watches the flares on the tail of the missile and guides the munition to where the gunner has aimed the cross hair.
Here is the signature of the new Israeli Arab League ATGMs with binary fuel-air explosive warheads.
The missile directs the force of the explosion downward. A proximity fuse in the warhead automatically detonates the missile over the target. Although the force of the explosion goes downward, the fireball and smoke rise.
Both men in the “technical” survived. They lifted their heads and moved their arms.
Their comrades dragged them to safety.
These missiles do not create a storm of razor-sharp fragments. The casing of the munition is not metal. Below is an American AGM-114 Hellfire missile with a “fragmentation sleeve.”
A laser scored the add-on metal jacket so that it would break into diamond-shaped fragments.
For the first time in human history, war is waged on military objects, not people.
Next we have a new ATGM disabling an Assad regime T-72 main battle tank. The Russian ATGM launcher seen in the video is for the 9M113 Konkurs or 9K111 Fagot. However, the man firing is an actor. The munition is a new Israeli Arab League ATGM that no Syrian rebel possesses.
As before, the missile directed the explosive force straight down.
Then the fireball and smoke tower rose.
The missile exploded over the tank’s engine compartment. As a result, the tank will never run again.
It’s likely that cavitation is the reason that these weapons are so powerful. The shock wave actually displaces atmospheric air, creating an empty bubble over the target. When the bubble collapses, and atmospheric air rushes in to fill the void, a huge amount of energy is released.
That’s the only way I can explain the video below.
Arab League strategic special operators blast a Turkish M60 Patton tank into powder.
When the missile strikes, there’s no explosion of a warhead that penetrates the armor. Instead, the entire tank blows up as is if it’s made of dynamite.
Therefore you’re seeing completely new military technology. The missile used neither kinetic energy nor high explosives. It has to be cavitation. The fuel-air explosive created a void in the atmospheric air around the tank. When this “bubble” collapsed, it was like a small nuclear explosion. The tank simply disintegrated. I’ve never seen that before.
Here is what usually happens when a tank explodes.
The turret and other big chunks fly off. In the case of the Turkish M60, we didn’t see that. It was as though the M60 vanished. Also, there were six secondary explosions.
It’s very unusual for the ammunition to take so long to “cook off.” Generally speaking, tank ammunition burns quickly instead of exploding. The tanks below are remote-control. They have no crews.
In addition, the diesel fuel of the Turkish M60 spilled out on the ground and burned for a very long time. This indicates that the missile warhead released relatively little heat.
If in fact the new missiles use cavitation, they’d be making Earth’s atmosphere to do their work for them. Shockwave and Cavitation Bubble Dynamics of Atmospheric Air seems to show that the concept is viable. Air is a fluid.
Apparently not one scientist outside of Israel and certain Arab League nations has ever considered whether or not the shock wave from a missile warhead could create atmospheric cavitation.
I’m in good company.
NASA also mentions atmospheric cavitation.
If an Iranian rocket can cause it, so can an Israeli-designed antitank guided missile. The warheads detonate with incredible violence. Don’t worry: Syrian rebels didn’t fire the ATGM below.
Two beacons.
And again, the explosive vapor is projected downward.
I learned the very hard and discouraging way to never ask “experts” for their opinions. For this reason I don’t contact others to ask what they think about my ideas.
And I learned that even though 46,000 people read my blog every day, only a few dozen think that I deserve some financial help in running this Website.
So to the handful who donated, thank you. I’ll figure out a way to keep blogging. As I said, this is just a rough spot. In two years it won’t be a burden.
To everyone else, it’s good to know where we stand. I always prefer the truth.

Please help!
I’ve had to buy servers every day for the past week, due to the astronomical traffic. You may have noticed that my site has no ads. I hate ads.
Therefore I’m asking for everyone who reads the blog to please donate one dollar, one time. This will allow me to continue posting indefinitely.
The best way to donate is with PayPal.
Use this e-mail address.
So this is the only time I’ll ask. One donation, one time. And then we’re done.
I enjoy writing for you. However, the truly unbelievable amount of traffic is costing me a fortune. In two years, this cost won’t be a burden. Because I’ll be dead!
No. Just kidding.
In fact I’m doing very well physically, having started a swimming program that is reducing the pain of my arthritis and allowing me to lose weight.
The problem is that right now, the cost of the Website is a massive drain on my resources. As a result I must ask for donations. One time.
Instead of going on in this vein, here’s what I wrote after my mother died.
In the last two years of her life, Mom told me a lot about herself. She didn’t tell me anything unseemly, inappropriate, or sordid. All she did was describe in broad strokes her life as a bachelorette teacher in Venezuela in 1957 and 1958. After she died I found the photos to prove it.
Here is a great one.
Mom is marked with the white arrow. She’s standing there in hypnotized conversation with an eye-rolling ogre. In the foreground Gene Hackman recoils in horror at a woman’s furry tail. In the background on the left, it’s an original insufferable hipster. Look at his beard and culottes. On the right, a woman is about to deliver a roundhouse slap to a lecher on the sofa.
Mom listened to this song at her parties.
Imagine that coming on at a party. Instantly the room would be empty except for the ghouls.
Here’s my second-favorite photo of Mom from this period.
Wading in Lake Maracaibo. Mom invented the duck-lip pout, you know. She was a Mexican-American, a pianist, a brilliant ping-pong player, a multi-media artist, and a searcher. After 9/11, she bought and read the Koran from cover to cover. She didn’t want anyone to tell her what to think. Thus she studied Islam for three years.
Finally, my favorite photo.
She looks just like Suzanne Vega, a terrific singer. Mom had the same mystery and enigma as Suzanne Vega. I like the blurriness of the photo.
Here is Vega’s best work.
In a word, it’s a song about my mother’s life. And mine.
And if I tell the truth, then I will have to tell you this
Though I grieve and I believe I feel it truly
But I knew the ship was empty by the time it hit the rocks
‘Cause we could not hold on when fate became unruly
I feel as though I’ve adopted the entire Middle East as my surrogate family.
After this rough period, you’re all going to have such amazing lives. Your courage is my greatest inspiration.

On August 24, 2016, a Turkish expeditionary force entered Jarablus, Syria. Today, the Arab League began a military operation to persuade Turkey to withdraw. In short, Arab League and allied strategic special operators are blowing the hell out of the Turks.
Turkish armored vehicles, special forces, and aircraft assaulted Jarablus. Also, about 1500 Islamist fighters from seven Syrian rebel groups went along for the ride. But Operation Euphrates Shield is a farce, as I’ll prove.
First, listen to statements from the Syrian Democratic Forces (QSD).
It’s reasonable for you to think. “Those are just sour grapes from losers who didn’t get what they wanted.”
However, the evidence indicates that they’re telling the truth. The Islamic State cooperated with Turkey and its proxies in the taking of Jarablus. My guess is that the Islamic State is still there, disguised.
The Sultan Murad Brigades—Turkmens—released the video below. It shows that there was no combat in Jarablus.
These men have no military training. Although it”s hard to believe, the Turkish armed forces have no military skills. As a result, they will either leave Syria immediately, or they will suffer massive losses.
This man commanded the ground element of Operation Euphrates Shield.
He wears the red armband of Turkmens and the blue of Arabs. Unlike the others, he has body armor. Also, he’s armed with a Russian AKS-74U carbine.
This weapon is intended for close-quarters combat. Therefore of course this guy used it for long-range shooting.
Let me take you down
‘Cause I’m going to Strawberry Fields
Nothing is real
And nothing to get hung about
Strawberry Fields forever
Below is a great screen grab.
From left to right.
First, an imbecile with his cap on sideways.
Second, an imbecile carrying his rifle the way a chimpanzee would.
Third, a depressed Turkish Special Forces soldier.
Fourth, a Turkish Special Forces soldier talking to the Turkish version of the nonexistent Syrian Arab Army “Tiger Forces” commander, Colonel Brigadier General Suheil al-Hassan.
And look what happened when the Turks saw that someone was filming them.
“PUT DOWN THAT CAMERA!”
Here is an incredible image.
The gunner on the right is firing his 23mm ZU-23-2 cannons right past the face of the gunner on the left (red arrow). I’ve never seen such stupidity in my life.
Next, the Turkish air force almost bombs a group of its own pet rebels.
Finally, rebels or Very Special Turkish soldiers to the right of these guys nearly mow them down.
Bullets rake the ground in front of them.
As can be seen, the Turks and their allies are buffoons. Who the hell decided that Turkey had exceptional armed forces? The reign of Erdoğan turned them to crap.
Here is a QSD tank at al-Shaddadi. The red arrow marks what’s missing in Operation Euphrates Shield.
Front end loaders and earthen berms.
Those big piles of dirt protect fighters from enemy fire. There are no berms in the Operation Euphrates Shield video. Everyone is out in the open, completely exposed.
Why? Because they’re receiving no incoming fire. Obviously nobody’s shooting at them. The Turks staged the whole thing. Turkey, the Islamic State, and the Islamist rebels launched a war against the Syrian Democratic Forces.
And now the Turks are paying for it.
When people on social media refuse to believe that the Arab League now has the most advanced military capabilities in the world, I understand. But Turkey has multiple intelligence organizations. What were the Turks thinking? There’s only one possible outcome to Operation Euphrates Shield. Things are unfolding as I predicted.
Modern antitank guided missiles (ATGMs) easily demolish the 55-year-old Turkish M60 Patton main battle tanks. And the Northern Sun Battalion is mostly Arab League strategic special operators. As long as no Arab nation takes credit for expelling the Turks from Syria, Erdoğan is impotent. Since Syrian Arabs are now publicly and vocally involving themselves in the fight against Turkey, Operation Euphrates Shield has already failed.
And the real fighting is just getting started. Jaysh al-Thuwar has announced that it will drive the Turks from Syria.
Since Jaysh al-Thuwar has no outside support, it is without question Arab League and allied professional strategic special operators, mostly Saudi.
Jaysh al-Thuwar has never lost a battle.
Only the Arab League and Israel know the full capabilities of the new commandos who’ve now turned their attention to Turkey. We have no idea what the Arab League can do.
Enough. Everybody needs to give up their imperialist ambitions. Israel and the Arab League are genuinely invincible. In the long run, this will benefit the entire planet.
So go home, Turks. While you still can. If you don’t, the Arabs will send you home.
In very small boxes.
The post Operation to drive Turkish forces from Syria has begun appeared first on Thomas Wictor.
The Islamist Fastaqim Kama Umirt has released a video. There is no chance that Syrian rebels are using the weapons shown. Such incredibly advanced ordnance requires extensive training. Only Arab League strategic special operators could have carried out the mission you’ll see. In addition, Fastaqim Kama Umirt is an ally of the Muslim Brotherhood. Therefore Saudi Arabia would never arm this group.
Almost all Syrian rebels are now actors who only pretend to fight.
Munitions never lie.
The definition of “Islamist” is a Muslim who wants to implement Islam in all spheres of life. It’s also called Political Islam. For example, the Justice and Development Party (PJD) of Morocco is Islamist.
It’s the same all over the world. Generally speaking, those who aggressively demand virtue are themselves never virtuous. In the new Middle East, the people with power have the following ethos.
“Live and let live, or you die.”
In spite of hundreds of millions embracing Political Islam, the Middle East has changed. Nobody—religious or secular—is permitted to impose their will on others.
We now have inarguable proof that the people transforming the Middle East do not have an expansionist agenda. By the end of this post, you’ll agree with me.
While some Middle Easterners are being…persuaded to change their behavior, words don’t matter. As a result, Fastaqim Kama Umirt can release a video taking credit for something it didn’t do. As long as the group doesn’t oppress others, it’s free to say what it wants.
This is a terrific video. It’s titled “Very special: Scenes of aerial artillery shells secretly targeting Assad gangs near the Air Force Technical College.”
We see rebels firing 82mm mortars, but the munitions impacting the Syrian positions are like nothing I’ve ever seen. They are not 82mm mortar rounds.
Although this is an airburst munition, all the steel fragments went straight down.
In other words, this weapon produces almost no collateral damage. You could stand right next to that explosion, and you’d survive.
The new Arab League war doctrine calls for killing as few people—including combatants—as possible. War is waged on military objects, not human beings.
I’ll prove by the end of this post that you’re seeing precision-guided munitions (PGMs). That is to say, every shot deliberately avoided hitting men.
It’s not in the Islamist playbook to spare lives of the enemy, especially if he is a Shia. The men under bombardment are Iranians, Lebanese, Iraqis, and Afghan Hazara. Yet it appears that nobody died. Therefore I am positive that professional soldiers fired these PGMs to chase the enemy from the battlefield, not kill him.
I have evidence.
A fighter works on some kind of armed vehicle, probably a “technical.” It’s in an excavated position.
The PGM detonates in the only place that affords the fighter protection from the steel fragments.
Moreover, the fragments completely avoided the men at the house above the emplaced vehicle. That would be impossible with a regular high-explosive mortar round.
First, the munition detonated in the earth, reducing the effects of the steel fragments.
Second, the spray of fragments went in only one direction. In other words, somebody directed the force of the munition away from the men at the house. Somebody consciously chose to spare their lives.
Men are huddled in a trench. Somebody fires only munitions that detonate in the ground. In this case, an airburst munition would kill the men in the trench. Therefore the use of munitions that detonate in the earth means no intent to kill.
Nobody fires on the enemy as he removes his wounded.
The fact that the retreat was filmed is proof that an airburst munition could’ve been used. Those fighters were defenseless.
Somebody chose to not kill them.
The weapons are completely new technology. They produce ring-shaped smoke clouds.
No known munition has that signature. Somebody very carefully edited out all footage of the weapons in flight.
But the editor missed one.
And that footage proves that Arab League professional strategic special operators are the ones firing these mystery munitions. I’ll show you the video in a moment.
So, what causes the ring-shaped explosion? I have no idea. My guess is that the munition has a proximity fuse that determines where the warhead explodes, in relation to the target. It could be that the ring is the result of a warhead that creates a shock wave in the shape of a cone.
These men all survived a very close hit from the unidentified munition.
Thus we see that this battle was fought with new weapons designed to terrify and dissuade, not kill.
I think it’s fantastic.
The enemy ran off as fast as he could.
Would Islamist fighters let Shia get away? Of course not.
Therefore it wasn’t Fastaqim Kama Umirt that carried out this operation. And I can prove it.
Pay close attention.
Did you see it? Here’s a closeup.
The filmmaker missed it, so he didn’t edit it out.
Can you can see it now?
That is not a mortar round. It’s a self-guided aerial munition with what look like flapping wings. Guess where else they’re being used?
Here’s the same new weapon.
It has a strange, birdlike appearance. Keep your eyes on the right side of the screen below, about halfway up.
What the hell is it?
Something that the Arab League uses. To spare Shia lives and protect Shia in Iraq.
I’m not religious. Because of that, I can’t understand religious enmities. But my lack of understanding is moot. Very soon, all the religions and sects in the Middle East will be living together in peace.
Though they might not like each other, that isn’t important. I believe that everyone should be free to hate whomever they want.
However, if you act on it, you deserve to be killed.
It appears that the people liberating the Middle East agree with me.

Kurds are saying in plain language that Turkey is committing national suicide. Despite what you might think, the meaning of these words is clear.
Unlike the Turks, the Kurds have unbelievably powerful friends. And these friends have said the same things.
“Good neighborliness and non-interference in the affairs of others.”
The Turks have done the one thing that will guarantee their defeat in Syria.
As can be seen on social media, many Turks believe that they are justified in imposing their will on others. Might makes right. While the Kurdish-Turkish conflict is one thing, this is another.
He was a Syrian Arab. The Turks have made the same gigantic blunder that has cost Syria, Iran, and Russia so much.
In the new Middle East, this is Rule Number One for behavior.
Never claim that you’re fighting terrorism when you’re actually pursuing an imperialist, expansionist agenda.
The most powerful people in the region have a history of boots on their necks. Therefore they now have no tolerance for imperialism. The Turks are very likely to suffer enormous casualties if they stay in Jarablus.
Look at the countries that are trying to expand their power in the Middle East. Next, look at what happens to them. In spite of the evidence, people think that Islamic State artillery destroyed an entire Russian attack-helicopter squadron. The site was Tiyas (T4) Air Base.
But there are no craters. You can see that the helicopters melted down into puddles of aluminum. That’s the work of thermite grenades. This was an Entebbe-style commando attack. In other words, a C-130 Hercules transport landed at the end of the runway.
Commandos then deplaned and destroyed the helicopters. Someone has carried out many such missions against the Russians. This was the most audacious.
It wasn’t a car-bomb attack. The Russians had sealed off their section of Khmeimim Air Base. This was another commando attack. In addition, it was very likely an operation that used disguised aircraft. A transport posing as a Russian aircraft landed, and a platoon of commandos jumped out and went to work.
Everything that has happened to Russia and Iran will now happen to Turkey. And much more. After all, Russia’s nuclear deterrence meant nothing to the commandos.
If nobody takes credit for something, nobody can be blamed. And there’s always the danger that what the enemy shows you is just a fraction of his capabilities. For example, let’s say you send your 55-year-old tanks into Syria.
Since they have no defenses against modern antitank guided missiles (ATGMs), they’re sitting ducks. Suddenly a bunch of your tanks blow up. However, what do you do? Maybe it was those dastardly Kurds. But what it it wasn’t? What if invisible jet-powered gunships with 105mm howitzers did it?
Certainly the invisible jet-powered gunships may be the worst thing you have to face.
But what if they aren’t? What if this unidentified enemy has weapons that nobody can even conceive? Note the words of Khaled Isa, a representative of the Kurdish Democratic Union Party (PYD).
There’s a lot at stake here. Do you think the PYD would make an empty threat? If the PYD doesn’t follow through, it will be greatly weakened. Therefore my guess is that the Kurds’ extremely powerful friends are ready to do what is necessary.
Everybody needs to stop talking about the US. Have you noticed that the Kurds don’t mention us?
It’s because we aren’t a factor. That is to say, we made ourselves a non-factor. But that’s good. All we were doing in the Middle East was screwing up. The Kurds’ friends are careful, methodical, competent, and fearless. By fighting in secret, they give everyone an out. The enemy can stop anytime.
I didn’t know much about Saudi national character before March of 2015. Because of the American national character, I didn’t think that the Saudis…mattered. They were oil sheiks, nothing more. After studying Saudi Arabia daily for almost a year and a half, I cheerfully admit that my perceptions were completely wrong. These are a great people.
Every country in the Middle East has tremendous potential. Generally speaking, the main issue that held them back was imperialism. Internal and external forces required that Middle Eastern leaders do many unsavory things. To put it differently, survival required massive compromises.
Those days are over. Character is revealed by what you do when you have limitless power. Today, in the Middle East, those with the most power are using it to free others. No strings attached.
As an illustration, the video below.
It’s a modified C-130 Hercules transport with no national markings. Although it’s unarmed, it’s a deadly weapon.
On the underside are fairings and antennas for electronic warfare. This aircraft destroys the enemy’s ability to communicate, to see, and to fire missiles. But that’s not the exciting part.
The nose has a new radar system. It has to be terrain-following radar. In this case, the aircraft is meant to fly at rooftop level during combat. Pilots from the United Arab Emirates love to fly low. And the Emiratis have AMMROC, the most advanced aircraft conversion facility in the world. As a result, they can make anything they want. That slow C-130 is flying around in the daytime because no Syrian or Russian jet can shoot it down. No missile can hit it.
The past eighteen months have taught me that the people changing the Middle East have a completely inflexible code of honor. They aren’t paying lip service to ideals. Instead, they’re making ideals into reality.
I won’t post the photos, but it’s clear that terrorists used mustard gas on Kurdish civilians near Manbij. The Kurds say that someone in Jarablus fired munitions carrying this blistering agent. If that’s true, then the entire Turkish expeditionary force in Syria will cease to exist in the next few days.
The people with the real power are sick of those who murder and maim in the name of imperialism. And the people with the real power have weapons from fifty years into the future.
Soon we may see one of the most satisfying comeuppances of the modern era. I hope so.
The post National suicide: How to do it in the new Middle East appeared first on Thomas Wictor.
The Turks did not drive the Islamic State from the Syrian city of Jarablus. “Operation Euphrates Shield” was a shoddy performance. It had enormous continuity errors.
Continuity error?
In the film Jurassic Park, for example. The Tyrannosaurus rex first appears on the other side of the low wall.
Therefore the dinosaur must be standing on solid ground. Moreover it’s behind an electric fence.
But by the end of the scene, there’s no fence. Also, we now see a sheer drop on the other side of the wall.
Almost all movies have continuity errors. They can be visual or audio. Less often, they’re informational.
The following Syrian rebel groups allegedly took Jarablus back from the Islamic State.
al-Sultan Murad Brigades
the Shamia Front
the Sham Legion
the al-Nasr Army
the al-Tahrir Army
the Hamza Division
al-Mutasim Brigades
First of all, not one of these groups released combat video of the operation. Why not? Because there was no combat.
And the Turks say that these are the men who freed Jarablus in mere hours.
Since they’re such magnificent fighters, of course.
Another slip-up.
There are no air strikes in that video. In fact Turkey released the footage because journalism is dead. Reporters just parrot what nefarious groups and governments say. The agenda is to legitimize murder, extremism, and devolution.
If everything improves, journalists will be out of a job. After all, reporting is almost 100 percent negative. Therefore journalists prolong the agony of millions.
Watch the heavily sedated Recep Tayyip Erdoğan stumble his way through an explanation.
It’s amazing how people fall in love with utterly pathological politicians.
So, here’s a great continuity error. The Turkish media accidentally admitted that this “operation” was a lie.
If the Turks had encircled Jarablus, how did the Islamic State escape? Jarablus is a vital conduit for the Islamic State. They use it to bring in weapons and send out terrorists. Yet they didn’t even fight for it. When confronted, they let men with enormous pot bellies take it.
Another continuity error.
Seems like the Turks already forgot what they said about their Special Forces six weeks ago.
“Maroon Berets” is the informal name of the Turkish Special Forces. In July they tried to kill Erdoğan, but he entrusted them to spearhead Operation Euphrates Shield anyway.
Does anyone on the planet believe that?
The most repulsive politician in American history is current vice president Joe Biden.
By and large, everything about him is abnormal. Also he’s an imbecile. Here’s his comment on Operation Euphrates Shield.
We have made it absolutely clear to the elements that were part of the Syrian Democratic Forces—the YPG—that participated [in the liberation of Manbij], that they must move back across the river. They cannot, will not, and under no circumstances get American support if they do not keep that commitment.
Biden had to look at his notes. He forgot the names “Syrian Democratic Forces” and “YPG.”
Breaking news for Vice President Biden: The US has never supported the YPG. Every American air strike is carried out on behalf of the Syrian Democratic Forces (QSD). Biden needs to listen to the Pentagon briefings.
While some people think that it’s a distinction without a difference, they’re wrong. The QSD has large contingents of Arab League and allied strategic special operators attached to it. Those are the warriors who defeat every enemy on the battlefield. The QSD began winning all its battles about three weeks after coming into existence. Although Kurds are very brave, the YPG has a specific Marxist, atheist agenda. The Arab League and its allies are not fighting for that agenda.
My guess is that Turkish president Erdoğan has had a mental breakdown. Either he arranged for the Islamic State to escape Jarablus, or he’s helping them hide there. In any event, there was no need to kill Abdulsettar Al-Cadiri, commander of the Jarabulus Military Council.
It’s almost impossible to capture snipers. And I’m sure that the Turkish MIT killers had a rifle with a suppressor.
Abdulsettar Al-Cadiri had Saudi bodyguards. Saudi Special Forces receive years of training in personal protection. For example, the Special Forces major below. He has several qualification badges for personal protection.
As a result, the Saudis nabbed the Turkish agents. Besides training, Saudis have technology for locating snipers. And they never give up. Unique among the world’s armed forces, the Saudis created a “Pursuit and Assault” qualification badge. The Saudi Arabian National Guard major below wears it on his upper right chest.
So the Turks simply picked the wrong target.
Erdoğan killed Abdulsettar Al-Cadiri to send a message. The region must honor Turkey’s imperialist ambitions. Eventually the Turks will deeply regret doing this. In fact the retribution may have already begun. Erdoğan is acting like a man watching his world slip away.
In addition to committing murder, the Turks are trying to be the Sunni Iran.
Much as the rest of the world, Turkey vastly underestimates Arab League military capabilities. Consequently the Turks are making disastrous choices in Syria. Rather than accept the new reality, Turkey wants to go back to the fifteenth century. This photo is very apt.
Due to their unhealthy nostalgia for the Ottoman Empire, the Turks refuse to cooperate. Now they’re facing the Arab League. They may as well be using spears, maces, and battle axes.
What’s more important than military training and advanced technology?
The will to use them. Arab League leaders have the will to take on Russia, Iran, and Turkey. Simultaneously. Why? Because Russia, Iran, and Turkey are making life miserable for millions of people. Yet this isn’t personal. If Russia, Iran, and Turkey change their behavior, the Arab League will not hold grudges.
There’s only one way to change the minds of the Russians, Iranians, and Turks. And what’s that, you ask.
Make the costs of their actions outweigh the benefits.
While we sit here, that’s what’s happening. Quietly.
The post Shoddy theater won’t change the outcome in Syria appeared first on Thomas Wictor.
It’s axiomatic that those who talk the most are also those who care the least about their fellow humans. We reached peak jibber-jabber during the presidency of Barack Obama, who does nothing but talk. And golf. Now, fearless men and women are taking action. The courage of these people stuns me daily. They operate under the principle that unless they take action, there will be no change.
Therefore they take action. No challenge is too daunting for them.
I use social media to track down leads for my posts. However, 98 percent of everything said on Twitter, for example, is false. Either it’s misinformation, or it’s disinformation.
Everyone who supports terrorists always uses the “steal resources” canard. It was stupid in Desert Storm, and its stupid today. Here’s the reality of Hasakah.
Iran created the Syrian National Defense Forces (NDF), modeled on the paramilitary Basij. These are murdering criminals who thrive on oppression.
For some reason I seem to be the only person on earth who recognizes that the Syrian Democratic Forces (QSD) have large numbers of Arab League and allied strategic special operators attached to them. The QSD could not implement a Kurdocentric program of ethnic cleansing even if it wanted to. Although Syrians are leading the fighting, the Saudis are providing air power, armor, and commandos.
People need to face reality. The old Middle East is dead. You’re seeing the final twitches of its corpse. The spirit departed this terminally ill patient long ago.
Another ridiculous accusation.
Our risk-averse president “instructed” the Kurds to wildly complicate the Syrian war? Why? The fighting in Hasakah put the US in a terrible position, since we would now have to protect the Arab groups we support in the fight against the Islamic State. Our solution was typical of President Obama.
How’d you like that jibber-jabber? There isn’t a no-fly zone over Hasakah, but the Syrians would be wise to stay away. In the rush to get likes and retweets, people reported something that didn’t exist. “NFZ” is “no-fly zone.”
And after Assad’s air strikes, we completely withdrew our military advisers from Syria.
In response to Assad’s attack, Arab League commandos helped the QSD repel Syrian ground forces. Unidentified fixed-wing gunships poured thousands of bullets onto the enemy. Airborne howitzers blew Syrian positions to pieces.
Action. Short, sharp, direct action.
Arabs are known for talking. I don’t speak Arabic, so I don’t know when a person is getting to the point or simply bloviating.
The commander of the operation to free Nineveh Governorate in Iraq is one of my heroes.
Major-General Najim al-Jibouri is the former mayor of Tall’afar, Nineveh, Iraq. He wrote a famous letter to the US Army Third Armored Cavalry Regiment, the “Hard Chargers.”
This letter is unique in the history of the US armed forces.
Major-General al-Jibouri is an independent thinker. New ideas don’t upset him. Therefore I decided to look at the videos of the Battle of al-Qayyarah, which concluded today.
Guess what I found?
The Islamic State took al-Qayyarah in 2014. Iraqi forces liberated the town in twelve hours. Below is a video of the battle.
The tank commander on the left below is wearing a Pakistani uniform in the “arid three-color” pattern.
Major-General al-Jibouri is used to working with foreign troops. He’s also a man who cares only about results, not sectarian or even national issues.
Pakistanis trained in Saudi Arabia for over a year. Their government adamantly denied that these troops would be sent to Yemen.
The new Arab League and allied strategic special forces cross-train in multiple branches of service. Therefore a Pakistani strategic special operator would understand armor, infantry, and air power. That one soldier would massively increase the effectiveness of the Iraqi forces.
I’m not a fan of science fiction, but the following quote is true.
While Heinlein was right, his quote applies more to societal dysfunction than just poverty. Any effort at improvement is always resisted. Currently, almost nobody can figure out what’s actually happening in the Middle East, which is good. Politicians, journalists, pundits, and academics will raise hell when they realize that massive change for the better is underway. Right now, everyone’s wasting their time blathering about the American, European, Russian, Iranian, and Turkish roles.
Almost all “analyses” of the wars in Syria and Iraq make no mention of the Arab League. Why? Because to most non-Middle Easterners, Arabs are not a factor. Arabs are incompetent, corrupt, and helpless. They need others to lead them by the hand.
Well, every single nation on the planet is corrupt and incompetent. That’s the nature of government. Almost all people abuse their power. As a result, we end up with geopolitical entropy. Everything gradually declines into disorder.
Only dedicated individuals can change this pattern. We’re seeing it in the Middle East. Somehow a small number of people are becoming more and more successful at convincing others to change their behavior. It’s called a “preference cascade.” The sheer weight of numbers increases the speed of the change.
Nobody is more bombastic than Turkish politicians.
The Turkish National Intelligence Organization (MIT) is arming, financing, and probably training the Islamic State. This pledge to “completely cleanse” the Islamic State from the border is already doomed to fail. The Turkish army can’t fight the very people who the government is supporting. Instead, the Turks and their Islamist Free Syrian Army allies will try to defeat the Syrian Democratic Forces.
In other words, a large number of Turks and Islamist rebels will die. Turkey is still playing at being Iran Junior. The Turks think that by supporting all sides in Syria, the region will pay tribute to the new Sultan, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan.
Look how dramatically he’s aged in the past two months.
His hair is thinner, his eyes are now permanently glassy, and his face is sagging. He’s only sixty-two years old.
Below is eighty-year-old King Salman Bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud at the Villa Tiberio restaurant in Marbella, Spain.
Apparently he is addressed as “Amigo Salman.”
One man will destroy anyone and anything in his quest for greatness. He fails to see that he’s destroying himself in the process.
The other man took fifty years to figure out how to save the entire Middle East.
And he doesn’t even wear a tie when he goes out to eat.
The post Jibber-jabber had its day. Action is the new normal appeared first on Thomas Wictor.
A soldier in a video finally reveals who is helping Syrians, regardless of their religion, race, ethnicity, or politics.
I long suspected what I’m about to show you. However, I thought it would remain secret. Allowing the soldier to appear on camera is a demonstration, a trial balloon, and a warning.
This video says, “The Middle East has changed forever. Cooperate or die.”
People like to call themselves soldiers, even when they’re nothing of the kind. Today this happened.
Turks on social media are gloating about this murder.
Hatred and arrogance make people blind. The Jarablus Military Council is Arab, not Kurd. Here is part of what el-Cadiri said.
Syrians simply want control over their own destiny. For that they’re murdered? By foreigners?
This is the first time that someone has captured Turkish National Intelligence Organization (MIT) assassins. Therefore the consequences for Turkey will be grave. Turkey is no match for the emerging Middle Eastern superpowers.
A clandestine military operation will discourage the Turks from assassinating any more Syrians. Remember what happened six days ago?
Here is what the Russians and Iranians said.
This is the first time Russian planes have used an Iranian airdrome for the operation in Syria.
Frederick W. Kagan co-wrote that. The Kagans have a long history of helping screw up the Middle East. They’re always wrong.
There was never any chance of the US being successful in Iraq. The Saudis warned us over and over. Due to our lack of respect for Arabs, we ignored them.
When the Russians began flying missions out of Iran, I predicted that it wouldn’t last. And I was right.
They’re lying. What did they accomplish in six days? Nothing. And the Iranians gave a different reason.
Like the Russians, they’re lying. In reality someone dissuaded Iran and Russia from continuing with this arrangement. My guess is that everything at Hamadan Air Base stopped working. Or maybe a Russian aerial munition exploded all by itself. Maybe some Iranian and Russian officers exploded.
The Turks can expect something similar. We won’t hear about it.
Members of the Islamic State call themselves soldiers. They aren’t. Since they can’t fight, they die when they meet trained soldiers. So the Islamic State does this instead.
Those Kurdish cops are brave beyond comprehension. You can see from their body language that they literally have no fear.
This is why Saudi Arabia and Israel support an independent Kurdistan. And it’ll happen.
Finally.
The Kurds are not monolithic. Each armed group is loyal to a political party. These parties are mutually antagonistic. Therefore it’s difficult for Kurds to achieve a high level of military training. There are no centers such as the Saudi School of Airborne Units and Special Security Forces.
You can recognize Arab League strategic special operators fighting in Syria. First, they’re almost always extremely thin. And second, they carry their rifles in a particular way.
This is how Arab League strategic special operators sling their rifles.
The barrel points down, and the rifle is kept tight against the body.
In the screen grab above, the man staring at the camera is a Saudi Special Forces soldier on personal protection detail. He’s guarding the man in the middle. Compare the Saudi’s rifle to the Kurdish fighter’s weapon on the left.
Below is the reason that the Saudis sling their rifle this way. Watch the man entering the screen on the far left.
In one smooth movement, his rifle is in his hands. And if he wanted, he could fire the rifle without taking it from his shoulder. I’ll leave that to your imagination.
Arab League and allied commandos have trained for years. Therefore it’s not reasonable to expect that volunteer fighters be as skilled. However, the Arab League makes very intelligent use of both professionals and dedicated locals. The key to this cooperation is the professionals having empathy. The locals don’t feel inferior or incompetent. In addition, locals are the public faces of the struggles against the Islamic State, Basahr al-Assad, Iran, Russia, Hezbollah, and Turkey.
Can you identify the professional below?
Thin, extremely fit, olive skinned, rifle slung barrel down, and watching everything.
Although he wears a yellow badge with the face of Abdullah Öcalan—former leader of the Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK)—this man is an Arab. There’s no doubt. He’s a strategic special operator attached to a unit of locals in Hasakah. His rifle has a titanium barrel. It’s a modification that makes the weapon lighter and more accurate.
And now what may be the most important video to come out of Syria.
Most of the fighters have no real training. However, the men below are professionals.
Their situational awareness and the way they carry their weapons and walk indicate a very high level of training.
See the rifle?
She’s a professional too. And she’s not a Kurd. She’s an Arab.
Like all commandos, she hates being filmed. In fact she confiscated the camera of the reporter she’d detained.
Look at her rifle compared to the Kurdish fighter’s. She could shoot you in less than a second.
As they walk, the commando turns to make eye contact with her colleagues.
So where’s she from, this hard-faced strategic special operator?
Well, someone wanted her to tell us. She wears a small national flag.
I’ve never seen that in Syria. This soldier’s insignia has a clear plastic covering.
It’s a “low-visibility” or subdued version of her national flag. The colors make it blend into the uniform. Do you recognize the flag?
Here’s a closeup.
There’s really no mistaking it for something else, is there?
I told you that massive change was taking place in the Middle East, didn’t I? Because of the many risks, I thought this level of transformation would be kept hidden for years.
Well, I appear to have been wrong. As I said, this commando’s message is a demonstration of change, but it’s also a trial balloon and a warning.
Take a good look at that face. She’s as much a professional strategic special operator as her male colleagues. I’m betting that hundreds or maybe thousands of such commandos are all over the Middle East. They’re even more deadly than men. Why? Because they’re not expected.
There’s no turning back now.
