I used to keep this blog as a sounding board for my many whimsical thoughts. It was aimless and pointless and not very entertaining. A weird mashup of what I thought was interesting on the web and some how-to posts for things I was learning about graphic design. It was disjointed and kind of lame.

I have had a task list for writing that has gone sorely over schedule. I don’t submit work for publication. I write and write and write. I have journals brimming with stuff, ideas jotted on paper and in notebooks. I need to have some accountability with my creativity because I fear I am slowly turning into an Emily Dickinson or Gerard Manley Hopkins writer; which is not to say I am on par with them; it merely means that I am far too content with keeping all my writing to myself.

I don’t know the reason. I might be scared of people reading my work or too invested in my work to see it critiqued and loathed. Quite possibly I am being lazy.

Whatever the reason, I am kind of fed up with myself. This blog is my written record, my accountability of how I am going about with my many writing projects. You can join me for a spell or for the long hall, you can blast my ideas to bits or give some constructive criticism. It’s all valued.

And so it begins….
