Just because your parents did not talk to you or disciplined you enough is no reason when you become a parent that you could just physically hurt people around you especially your very own child. Right Mr. Guy?

Just recently I saw a father hurting and pushing his son around and it triggered some thoughts in me as a mother. Fathers don’t teach their young sons to do things right by hurting them physically or emotionally or traumatizing them with the violence they see before their very own eyes from their fathers.

Yes some people do not want to be corrected because it will hurt their pride and some simply grew up undisciplined that is why. They grow up immature. Accept it and correct it. Please don’t make it another woman’s responsibility.

Yes simple things and doable things that they refuse to learn, accept and do. They would rather resort to physical violence, damaging many stuff at home right in front or near their children to witness first hand; or hurting people they are supposed to love and protect.

Simple, positive changes are doable. Why not accept other people’s concern calling your attention to that positive change. Why hurt them? There is no need for a man to hurt people simply because he cannot handle practicing simple, positive changes in life. I wonder what values they have been taught in life why they refuse positive changes even the simple and most doable ones. I really cannot understand why parents cannot tell them or talk to them anymore because for the reason that they are already grown up or married. WHY??? What happened and why do you ignore it and let it happen parents?

When you become a mother, you would realize it ain’t easy and how hard it is to raise a son especially when you have a partner who consistently refused to hire and have a helper in the house. Anyway, you would also realize some helpers may just be added concern for you after all like most other moms had shared at one point or another. You could still be struggling especially when you honestly cannot fully rely on your partner to act, think and do things responsibly most of the time.

People think mothers are such drama queens. Wait till you get to be a mother indeed yourself before you judge a mother. I do not want to judge parents. But I simply cannot understand why there are parents out there that I personally know who refuse to guide and talk to their child when they do harm and hurt other people (yes even when they are already grown up and married).

A good parent should never be able to ignore their child hurting other people. It will be hard but parents should try to correct the situation. It is a lifetime responsibility. It ain’t easy but it is not good when you do not try and don’t do anything.

Some men prove their immaturity over and over again when it should be proving people that they are already mature enough to act and think responsibly.

Have you always been afraid to share these thoughts because of the few judgmental people around you that you may have amongst your so-called friends, co-workers, neighbors, etc.?

What a beautiful Friday morning!

You are so looking forward to having a fab and fun weekend, right?

It’s no surprise if there will be many people at Abreeza tomorrow for their first anniversary.

Being a first time mom wasn’t easy, but it was all worth it getting the love and blessing from my precious little boy.

I like to try baking once again after so many years for a new hobby that the little boy and I could enjoy doing together at home.

“I Will Be Here” is one of my most favorite songs!

And as for the weekend, tonight I’m looking forward to bonding time with my boys again before hubby goes off to OTW, tomorrow my plans include attending a bloggers event while the little boy will meet with his teacher at school and Sunday, I want to attend mass with the boys and try to enjoy what little time we have together on Sundays!

I decided to make this quiet night at home as a night of music starting of by watching an all time favorite musical movie Mamma Mia. I am quite multi tasking actually while watching the movie, I found myself looking for some guitars and browsing through some novation keyboards at the same time. My sister was asking me if I could canvass those for my nephew who plans to start learning how to play a musical instrument during his free time during weekends. I already found what my sister asked me to look for.

Well for the meantime, I started to check out some new and popular music to listen to. I tried to remember the songs played with the keyboards by a guy at a lounge bar in a hotel in the city. I loved the music he played that night and maybe I could start finding music from there. The night is still quite young since there are no classes for the little boy tomorrow. I got a few more hours tonight to listen to more music.

The little boy has said “I like it here.” We asked him about his new and big school where he is having a summer class so that we may know if he can adapt to the traditional way of teaching which is a little different in the materials based kind of teaching and multi-age class that he was used to for the past two years in preschool. And we also want to try him in a big school this time.

During the beginning of the summer class, he said he liked the new school already. There is a playground with equipments unlike in his old M school. What we just observed is that there are little changes in his behavior and actions that we don’t like to be honest. I am not that sure if he really got it from his new classmates or elsewhere. But it is only in this summer school that he gets to interact But what was alarming at first was that he told us a few days from start of school that his male classmates were fighting inside the classroom. He never said this thing before. I pray he won’t have rough and rude classmates. I am not there all the time to watch out and protect him. Worse I don’t want him to adapt any bad behavior.

After walking a lot, I often experience tired and aching legs. My sister nurse one suggested I may be try to wear what looks like that sheer and soft compression stockings that combines fashion, comfort and medical efficiency without compromise yet comfortable to wear. A medical compression stocking according to my sis actually offers relief for tired, aching legs, relief from minor leg & ankle swelling, relief from minor edema or lymphedema, relief of leg discomfort during pregnancy, minor varicose veins and also postural hypotension. Yet when wearing one, my sis said, patients who wear them can still look fashionable yet get relived of those tired, aching legs like what I felt the other day.

As a known and popular preacher would often say in his emails to his followers, “May your dreams come true!” If I may reply, “Dreams do come true!”

Indeed dreams do come true, may it be small or big dreams in life. Prayers, our acts and the universe conspire to make them come true. Maybe not all of us will be bale to realize that our dreams do come true. There are also reasons we cannot understand behind that we may not be able to comprehend why do not seem to come true but maybe if we step back and look at the whole picture, we may understand why they cannot come true because there is a better plan for us by God or what we wish and dream for in life may not be good for us. There is a reason for it.

Sometimes we just do not realize that what we have been dreaming for is actually already happening in our life. We just fail to appreciate the blessings in life as it comes and as it happens when our dreams do come true.

My dear sister has been asking if I could find for her a cross that she wants to give someone. I wish she would give me one just like this one in the photo that I really like. This is actually a Mens diamond cross in gold and diamond available in all sizes and some are custom made which makes them unique as they are not available anywhere else.

I had a cross before when I was in high school but I lost that one a long time ago. It was a gift to me and it was one of my treasured possessions then because of the sentimental value it holds. This is a nice gift to a special someone who is faithful and religious. I would love getting this cross myself!

There are times that migraine attacks on the most inconvenient time of the day when I have rush work and house chores to do all together. Now I can only wish this migraine will go away now. There is a FourSquare event that we want to go to later in the evening and am not sure now if I can go if this migraine worsens later. I truly hope not and am fighting it now.

The overcast and cloudy sky while having this about to rain weather isn’t helping too. I just wish it won’t rain hard by the time that we’re supposed to travel to the venue. With a migraine, I really will have to call it off when it rains. I am staying positive that my head will clear and the pain will go away now.

Great time to spend a nice, summer day outdoors. I was thinking it would be great to have that patio Pergola just like the one your see in this photo. With a nice, summer breeze blowing outside just like now, it would be great to spend a day outdoors now while reading a good, new book perhaps. Or simply relaxing while sipping a cool, refreshing fresh fruit for a nice summer drink as you enjoy life outdoors. What a great way to spend a relaxing, summer day!

I could even do my work from there and not just for relaxation. Though everyone could use a relaxing day spent outdoors while not having to go far away from home. This could be a nice space to entertain friends coming over for a visit too or have breakfast with my boys on a sunny day!

Going to church is an important part of the faithful’s obligation as member of the church. So I hope mothers and especially fathers realize how important it is for them to influence their young children to go to church.

It is sad to hear a father with little faith to actually hear him say it’s useless to go to church. No it ain’t useless unless you were taught how to be faithful while growing up. Unless you know why you are going to church in the first place not to doze off and sleep until the mass finishes in an hour but to pray, reflect, worship and give thanksgiving.
