This is it, I’m sitting at my computer ready to go. My mouth goes dry, my psalms sweaty, I’m going to start blogging… no I’m not I’m going to Quicktime.com/trailers, where I watch preview after preview of all the latest, most talked about, up-and-coming movies that will play between now and half a year away!

Okay, there were some good ones, like Youth in Revolt with Michael Cena.  Or Brooklyn’s Finest, another all-star casted cop flick for a generation that doesn’t appreciate cop flicks. And then there’s To Save A Life, which I can’t tell yet if it was made by the Fire Proof guys or not, but it does look like marketed to the big ol’ feel good cliché crowd. I’ll end by mentioning Clash of the Titans, just mentioning. Love that Sam Worthington.

Now here I am ready to blog.  And this is usually the point where I loose it. What to write about? Is that even interesting? Who will ever stumble across this site and much less even care about what I say.  I mean, I think I can write (my wife says so anyway). And sure there are my interests and passions, hobbies and an ever-so depleting active lifestyle, even a background on which to hang some experience on.  But so what? No big deal. I want moooooOOOOOOOR* (queu The Little Mermaid).  But with all sincerity I get and appreciate the value of blogging. That members of community (shaped around interest) share not out of expertise or qualification, but out of passion using the instrument of blogship to foster accountability to professionalism (okay, only sometimes) quality, and accuracy.  And I guess I can say pretty stoutly that even writing this, I’m becoming okay.  Okay with myself.  That I’m not here for show and tell (look what I did last summer), I’m here to discover (knowing that in revealing my interests, I reveal something of myself, and hopefully this new community will join in that discovery).

Thunkt.  I mean sure, there were better domains out there, but they were all taken. So Thunkt. It’s about thought. About thinking, about what you’re about. …and while it’s short, it always requires spelling clarification. Hopefully it will stick. And that’s where I leave you tonight I hope it sticks, I hope you stick around, drop in again, pull off your jacket, put on your cardigan and share.  I’m here to discover what I’m about, I hope you are too.
