]]> For Mother’s Day, all I really wanted to do was walk around a garden and do some flower photography. So that is exactly what we did. I had my starbucks (venti vanilla sweet cream cold brew please and thank you!) and my camera and it was a glorious day. My hubby wandered around with my kiddos so I got to hang out with them but also have some peaceful moments. It really was a perfect way to spend an hour or two! Here are some of my favorite images.

]]> Happy Monday! I cannot believe November is almost over. This month on Macro Moms we had our first theme, which was “shooting through” and I LOVED seeing the images shared. Shooting through a copper pipe is a popular method used for portraits, but it can be used for macro images as well. To shoot in this way I simply hold a small piece of copper pipe in front of my lens, and move it around while shooting until I get the look that I’m going for.
